Judah is a short, average looking sixteen year old whose features are almost always bent into an expression of contempt for everyone around him or some sort of malicious looking smirk. He has very spiky dirty blond hair which makes him look taller than he really is, and a toned physique thanks to some sort of supernatural conditioning related to his abilities. He has green eyes, the right one bearing some sort of threefold mark tattooed underneath. He generally wears a pair of big, ruby colored aviator goggles and carries an old sword on his back. He favors two kinds of outfits: large, comfortable and retro styled track suits, and punk attire straight out of the 80's, and carries himself with an air of unassuming, aloof confidence. History: Judah remembers little of his life before Earth-Prime, and most of that is from when he was drifting in the Terminus. Where was he born? When was he born? Who was he before becoming known as Judah "the Sword Punk" Cross? He did not know: maybe his earth was devoured by the Terminus' insatiable hunger for the order and structure of true universes. All that mattered was the name he chose for himself, and the sobriquet he was given by those who feared his arts. Wielding that old, battered and rusted blade was like second nature to him, so much so that he spent all of his time with it, preferring it to the company of others. Not that the void pirates were particularly sociable with him, most of the time the simply sicced him on their enemies and watched as he cut them to shreds with that inefficient weapon. There is no telling how long he stayed in that entropic universe, but one day his merry band of corsairs joined forces with Omega in his venture to conquer Earth-Prime. He was in the front line, but, before he could unleash himself like he usually did, flashes of his time in a world much like the one he found himself now started popping into his mind. Those weird, confused images lasted a few seconds, but that was all that was need to light a spark of protective instinct for that place he knew so little of. He was a shy guy, all in all, and his powers did not make it easier. Still, this short conversation was having an unexpected effect on his morale: he wanted to try something. "So, what about this: you forget me being a depressed lame-o, we become "pals", and I owe you one on top of it... deal?" This time, he was trying his best to hold eye contact with Corinne.

The boy who was touched by the Deep Darkness stood on the campus highest roof, watching the sky intently while filtering the sun's pestering rays with his own shroud of blackness, which was rising in plumes of void from all over his body. Normally, he wouldn't care for such an incomolete phenomenon as a 70% eclipse, but somehow his power was pushing him towards it: was it because in those few moments, the Dark would have a tighter grasp than what it normally does on this little azure marble of ours? He did not know, nor did he really care, he was beginning to understand the mechanisms of the ebb and flow of the Dark's influece on his mind: he had to give in to grasp it better, at least for a time, so he mmight as well do it now, when it was harmless. Simone, in his "civilian" form, was described by most as an avarage looking man, with the eyes of someonr who has seen a lot, giving him a sort of older air that also seeps from his way of carrying himself that, together with his rather thin build, give him a tired look. His hair, kept short and rather messy, is bleached white, his tight, weary eyes are icy in color and hidden behind a thick pair of black rimmed glasses, and his skin is milky white, almost sickly in pallor, from all the hours spent designing in his study and laboratory. He generally prefers to wear bright colors and speak in a gentle, high pitched tone, something that is in stark contrastt with his image from a few years ago, before he took the mantle of Mecha Mask. Speaking of his heroic persona, his costume, or rather, armor, is a series of bright blue and red pearl plated plates, that mix and mingle in a sort of colored tornado effect. His helmet is the same, with two insectoid looking, hexagonally patterned red lenses that cover most of the upper part of the face and are implanted just below two lightning bolt shaped antennas.   6. The boy looked relieved, at least for a bit. "Sorry, it's just that my standards of normalcy have yet to be adjusted to... well, this whole world!" A doll like mechanical smile opened slightly on his face, as he added: "Though i doubt it will take that long, if all people here are like you..." He follows the girl looking straight ahead, eyes fixed forward and focused on a point that did not actually exist: "thanks." He whispers under his breath. Trying to ride his emotions while the ebbed and flowed furiously in the darkness of his heart was... troublesome.

Catchphrase: "This kinda makes me jelly!" Alternate Identity: Edoardo Maria Diodato (Secret). Birthplace: Rome, Italy. Residence: Freedom City's Theatre District. Base of Operations: An old loft in the Theatre District (his house, basically). Occupation: Photagrapher and Sculptor. Affiliations: Solo, at the moment. Family: None that he knows of. Description: Age: 22 (13/7/95). Apparent Age: 22. Gender: Male. Ethnicity: Caucasian, of Italian heritage. Height: 184cm. Weight: 75kg. Eyes: Blue. Hair: Blond. Edoardo is a somewhat tall, a bit too thin and not too athletic young man. He has long limbs and fingers and a pale, graceful complexion that, together with his way of carrying himself, poorly suits his personality. Ed has golden blond hair, kept rigourously tamed and cared for, which reaches up to his chin, almost covering his left eye, the rest being sleeked back with gel. His icy eyes have a piercing gaze that makes a lot of people either frown or like him, and he generally wears a range of intense expressions that includes everything from a childish frown to a maniacal grin. He generally wears comfortable but fashionable street clothing when not in costume, preferring stuff like sneakers and sporty jeans and shirts. When costumed, he wears an azure full face mask made from his own gel magic and a serious, uptight costume consisting of a white shirt, grey suit, pants and tie, shiny shoes and a pair of white butler gloves. History: Edoardo's story begins about three centuries before his birth, with Dionisio, a elderly mage and alchemist who lived between Switzerland and Italy, known for his pioneering works regarding the achievement of a fluid philosopher's stone, or royal elixir, as he called it. Though it worked in theory, he found that, even spending most of his lengthened lifespan studying and perfecting the elixir, he couldn't make it into an actual philosopher's stone. The only results he got were a health potion that was just marginally better than the ones his peers were making, and a petty excuse for an alchemical catalyst that slowly turned whatever it came in contact with into more of itself: a viscous, light blue colored gelatine. Felling the natural end he staved off for almost three hundred years creeping ever closer, the decrepit mage fell into a desperate research frenzy, using every single resource he could find to obtain eterna life before it was too late. He actually succeeded, though not in a way he expected or hoped. Dissolving two similar, yet different, Atlantean and Lemurian relics (obtained after much pain and effort), he managed to give a batch of his failed experimental elixir the ability to strengthen and affix a soul to a body immersed in it... or at least that was the way it should have went. The concentration of magic from the relics, and the one from the old mage's soul, in fact, proved too strong for the gelatinous medium to handle, and a feedback response from it caused the entire vat to explode into an acidic spray of solvent, which turned the whole region where the old man's mansion stood into an alchemical wasteland, dissolving not only the bodies, but the very souls of every living being in the area and nebulizing them into tiny magical particles that swirled around the place for the generations to come. The "natural" well, formed by the explosion attracted a lot of tourists, curious people, and occult seekers for centuries, until something in that streaming vortex of atomized souls and bodies regained a spark of consciousness after exactly 333 years. The thing was not, exactly, the old mage, or the people who lived near his manor, or the animals or plants, but a pure, unadulterated spiritual egg, seeded with some of the will, power and knowledge of its component souls. That egg found a host in a young woman whose name is not currently important, who, finding herself pregnant without an apparent physical mean, panicked and gave up her child for adoption. That child would later be given to the care of an old catholic orphanage of nuns near Vatican City, where he would grow up under the watchful eyes of the nuns... and God, or so they said. The young boy was a real storm in the orphanage, carrying a wind of change and fun in the gloomy, stoic life of his fellow orphans, and felt a strong pull to the occult and the supernatural since a very young age, although he never knew the cause of this instinct until he was about sixteen years old. His sixteenth birthday meant the awakening of the deep seated well of mystic power and knowledge hidden within his soul. He could now feel and see the world under a whole new light, and felt a calling to the Arts. He started to train in secret, wary of the nuns discovering his "devilish acts" as they called all the mystic practices in the world, and soon became somewhat able to muster his newfound abilities, though still completely inexperienced. The boy, with his solar attitude, also discovered a great passion for "normal" arts, especially sculpture and photography, and aced all the art courses in the orphanage, aiming to enter a prestigious art school. When he finally got out of the institute, at eighteen years of age, he actually found that he wanted to leave all that life behind and, with only a bit of money, some courage, and the camera he got as a birthday present, he set off for Freedom City, the most "special" city in the whole world, hoping to find out more about his calling and purpose in life. After four years spent researching, practicing and trying to make a name for himself in the artistic community, he has assumed the name of "Gel Azure", fighting crime and helping people with his powers and custom made staff of power, away from the selfish goals of the unknown man who created him so long ago. Personality & Motivation: Edoardo is an over energetic young man, and has a distinct lack of focus bordering on attention deficit disorder territory. He is the result of an incredible experiment that culminated in the melding of dozens of souls to form his, and this is probably at least part of the problem. The other part being the strict rules and eduction he grew up on back in his youth, while in the orphanage. He was always labeled as a problematic kid and never managed to get adopted, probably because of the nuns pulling some strings to keep him and his deviant attitude around to be kept in check. He has a slight problem with auditory hallucinations, hearing things through a distorted filter or hearing voices whispering, but he manages to mostly ignore it and live a normal life without medication... mostly. Some might call his hyperactive sensibility for visual arts a sign of either geniusnor madness, and they might not be that far off, still he has recently discovered the joys of mixing the arcane knowledge in his head with the arts he has been practicing, and has found a potent motivation in experiment with this peculiar fusion. He feels awkward and bizarre at times, sticking out from other people like a sore thumb, and he might do some crazy stuff in order to be accepted... like becoming a super hero or something. Still, he knows there is more to life than he has seen or even imagines, and wants to know more about himself and his place in this complicated universe of ours. Powers & Tactics Casting offensive gel is not the best of Ed's skills, so he generally relies on his staff for direct damage. The gel staff is capable of dishing out a huge amont of damage thanks to the years of protective spells (which render it virtually indestructible) and offensive charms layered upon it, while the gel core in it weakens the stricture of anything it strikes, rendering it softer and more... well... gelatinous. This, other than making things easir to break, makes the damage and wounds dealt pretty nasty and hard to heal without proper care, even for regenerative types. The staff is also capable of being ridden as a traditional witch broom would, carrying the user at about 500MPH pretty much silently. Finally, it can grant the wielder a degree of immunity to metabolic hazards, suffocation, and environmental hazards, so long as the user keeps it on his person. Ed is also familiar with a number of spells centering around gel, making him a force to be reckoned with in battle. He can turn ordinary matter into gel, at a rate of about 100lbs per casting, create and move about large quantities of gel, which he can manipulate and shape into pretty complex shapes as well, and finally he can snare and trap opponents into suffocating, regenerating masses of sticky, sweet gel. His most used spells by far are the purely defensive ones, allowing him to turn his body and clothes into flowing gel, becoming immune to most forms of direct physical damage, or covering his person in transoarent gel which acts a ver tough shock absorbing armor, capable of nullifying almost all impacts. Power Descriptions: It is worth noting that Ed's gel is not watery or organic, has variable color, transparency, consistency and, while not edible, has a very strong sickly sweet taste (but no smell whatsoever). It is also a permanent product of Ed's mana well, and is in fact the sole possible catalyst for his magic, limiting him in his choice of spells and element. It is of course fluid most of the time, and thus Ed's spells do not have a set shape, since they do not even use traditional symbolism, just pure soul contact and meditation. Complications: Touched (by Gel): Ed's touched, there is no way around it. He hears voices, sees thibgs there are not there and thinks in a later (or rather, skewed) way. Then he paused a bit, pondering what the girl just said, and laughed again: "You like... food? Ah, sorry, I must be the weird one, always overthinking stuff and all". The boy passed his fingers through his hair, and added: "I am not a particularly good dancer, but I wouldn't mind... you know... chilling a bit... is that what you call it when you relax and do nothing?" A sad gleam passed through his eyes, invisible to most in those black pools. "Not that anyone would want a dark weirdo like me at a party..."

  10. "I'm sorry if I scared you, I did not mean it in a... romantic way." Eli said, fidgeting with his long fingers in a somewhat elegant manner. "I just felt like you needed to talk like I do, although maybe about different things... though I might be wrong." He sighed "Like you said, social cues are hard to grasp, especially for me, since I got these abilities." The boy made a small cube flow out of his hand and spin just above it. "I tend to talk too much, especially when it's about my thoughts." His eyes are a little sad, though not impressively so. "Let's start this from the beginning: my name's Eliseo Milioni, I come from an alternate Earth, the trip got me some unexpected stuff, as you can see. I like comic books, reading and sports, though I may not look like it, I practiced urban exploration and parkour a lot on my Earth." He let a puff of black smoke escape his index finger. "oh, and despite the looks, I don't consider myself a goth!" He added, laughing sincerely.
  11. Another sigh came from Eli, flowing out like his soul was in it. "I... sorry, I am really bad at making conversation aha..." he said moving quietly about. He was beginning to calm down, probably thanks to the influence of his powers: the more he used them, the more his mind became distanced from all that was normal. Normally, he would consider it a bad thing, but for now the effect was helping him, just like a medicine: too much is toxic, but a little can help with the pain. "I'm sure you do not have such problems, being... well... radiant as you are. Most guys and girls would probably be attracted to you like moths to a flame." Eli used his power once again, covering his body in his shadow garments. Suddenly, everything looked much cleaner, like it had some purpose of sorts, and yet it had none. Complex, yes... he was complex, and so was that girl. He felt something was hidden, something more than other people had: was it something normal to feel when you faced someone beyond the norm of humanity? "But every flame casts a shadow, you know?" he said, pensive.

He covered his face slightly with his left hand, and when he removed it, a back, swirling mass of darkness covered his face. "Is this enough?" He said, his voice slightly distorted but still somewhat recognizable. "I am from a world where there are no... super shenanigans so to speak, and since I was an avid comic book fan this... I wouldn't know if I should define it as amazing or terryfing." He let the shadowy mask dissipate. "Probably some sort of mix of both." "So what do guys like us... with powers I mean, do to socialize here? Should we find somewhere to sit maybe? You seem like an interesting person... mostly because you did not get scared away as soon as you saw me."
  14. Eli was more shocked than the girl, and it showed. For her, he was just another weird super being, even if seen up close, but to him, this situation was... "Dio mio." he sighed, letting his native language punctuate his feelings. "Sorry, I guess I am not really one of the best examples of... whatever really." He looked up, quitting his relentless navel gazing, and saw that the girl... that Corinne was as tall as him. "It's been a while since I could look someone in the eyes like this though. You should know... tall people problems, ehe!" he tried to squeeze out a laugh awkwardly, but all that resulted from that effort was a pathetic excuse of it. "Some welcome is better than nothing I guess, you know... I am kinda-sorta not from here like... at all."
