Alright, I got most of Owain's build (but no fluff yet) ready here, if you want to take a look at how I've been building him. Note that he doesn't have an atomic steed atm. I'll probably be spending some Equipment ranks leftover on a vet reward for that.

Alright, you'll skip your next roll too, then! And then have to fight to get out of it! @Nerdzul give me a d6 roll!

Huh. I'd written an OOC here! Weird! Not gonna roll again, so... Spaceman rolled a 3, hit a square with a Stun effect that he failed by enough to be Dazed, so he skips a round of rolls! There's a DC18 Reflex Save Snare Effects on Shift's square! Nothing happens to Nightscale! And give me some new rolls, unless you fail the reflex save!

Got a WIP look. Not sure if I'll add a helmet or not, it kinda fits for him not to wear one.

GM The teens were approaching the couple, running, shouting and yelling at them. The first ran up and punched the man, followed by being thrown to the side by a telekinetic blue shimmering field, courtesy of Bluebird. "Don't worry guys, we're the New Young Freedom! We'll keep you safe!" Casanova stood proud, while Chump and Toxin approached the last two teens. "Casanova, we got trouble." Stinger was the first to notice the other group of students approaching. They all stopped, as did the three teens, while they looked towards the other group of costumed teens. "What do we do?" Toxin sounded unsure, shifting from foot to foot. Casanova smiled. "We'll show them who's in charge here."
-
Nevermore II "I think he just likes to hear his own voice," Charlie responded to Luke, while getting the blackout grenades in his hands primed and ready. As much as the rest of the group might be putting down the group, Shields hadn't chosen the members at random. The group were powerful, they were more experienced than most of the group he had gathered. They needed to strike hard and fast, end it as quick as they could. "Don't underestimate them."

Alright, initiative rolls: Casanova: 7 Chump: 10 Toxin: 12 Bluebird: 10 Stinger: 14 Then, rolling Notice for each of them vs. the lowest Stealth check (Nightscale's at 12) to determine which of them are caught off guard and gets to act or not act in the surprise round: Casanova: 17 Chump: 20 Toxin: 20 Bluebird: 29 Stinger: 30 Yeah, so. They notice Luke. Everyone acts on the surprise round. Heroes are marked in bold on the initiative order. But with that said, I do a GM post, then @Heritage is up! Let's get this cluster#### started! Right now New Young Freedom is grouped relatively close together, with the couple and the teen on the opposite side from the heroes' position. There's trees, bushes, plants, paths and lights around as you want. 23 - Shift - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Arrow IV - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 14 - Stinger - Unharmed 12 - Toxin - Unharmed 10 - Chump - Unharmed 10 - Nevermore II - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Bluebird - Unharmed 7 - Howl - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - Casanova - Unharmed

Nevermore II Charlie knelt down by the cupboard, his briefcase in front of him. He silently opened it, reached into it and slipped on his belt, making sure to his it under his clothes before stood up again. "No, I really don't think staying in there's a good idea. I'm gonna stick to you like glue, lady! You look like you got all this figured out, so I'll, uh... play lookout or something?" That worked, right? He hoped it worked. He had to be stealthy about this, couldn't let her figure out what he was going to do. "Two pairs of eyes gotta be better than one, right? I'll stay out of the way while you... do whatever you're gonna do?"

Justice Robin looked to Emerald Spider and Protectron. So, they had a location and a plan. Alright. "66th floor?" Just what was Mars hiding in there, anyway? She kind of wanted to peek around a bit more, but they didn't have time now, did they? "I can probably blink in there, but Mars probably got some defenses against that. If E.S. has a secret way in, then the two of us can go in there while Protectron does his big distraction. Does that work for the rest of you?"

GM The ship was still shaking and rolling from Micah's storm, with the crew struggling to get their bearing while Angelik landed and started to attack the mast. The entire ship shook once more with Eira's blow, while the crew seemed unsure of what to do, looking between each others, some slowly raising their weapons, others hesitating. On the ground, the pirates shouted for the Forever Boy. Three of them ran at him, two shooting what appeared to be bright red bullets made of lightfrom what appeared to be highly advanced blunderbusses, while the last swung a saber. The final pirate spotted Lulu and shouted at her, raising his own blunderbuss and took aim, then shot directly at her.

Nevermore II Did he just block an arrow with his forearm like it was nothing? Charlie moved out of the way while the big guy charged straight at Arrow. He couldn't just let him do that, he... and he missed. And did he just crack the ground? This wasn't just a regular arms deal anymore, was it? He took an arrow like nothing, he threw things way heavier than them. If the big guy caught them, they were history. Flicking a switch on his staff, Charlie sent a charge through it, while he ran towards the big guy. "Yo, don't forget about me!" Dropping to his knees, he slid under the big guy and thrust the staff up into his ribcage, sending a massive shock into his body.

GM The big guy grunted as he moved his arm up, catching the arrow in his forearm instead of being hit in the face. He grunted, pulling it out and throwing it to the side, before charging forward, straight towards Arrow. "Sidekicks." His tone was derisive. Arrow and Nevermore were clearly beneath his notice. He swung a massive fist down towards Arrow, cracking the ground where he hit on his miss. Up close, he looked up to be in his early twenties, maybe 25 or 26 at the most, but his features were warped and distorted, impossibly muscular. "You don't know anything, little bird." One of the bodyguards moved in between Raven and the spooky man, being caught in the grapple instead. The man took a few steps back, his lips parting in a wicked smile. He was young. Around Alek's own age, but there was something about him. "You will learn to fear us again, little bird." While the bodyguard caught in Alek's grapple tried to break free, the other raised his gun and fired. The darkness distorted his aim enough that the shot went wide, the bullet flying just past the Raven's cowl. "The House of Usher is everywhere!"

Bodyguard 2 tries to break the grapple: 30 Let's see if you can keep him pinned! The Big Guy rushes straight past Nevermore and goes for Arrow. He tries to hit her: 8 That's a miss! Nevermore spends a HP to get rid of Fatigue He attacks the Big Guy with a Stunning Attack from his Staff: 25 That's a hit, and a Crit! DC25 Fort save for the big guy. Rooftops would be a clearer path, but you can use double movement to keep up if you want!
-
Updated map. Raven is at the big X, B is the big guy, N for Nevermore, A for Arrow. I'll try to do a post tomorrow and ooc stuff tomorrow.
-
And sorry for my delay! @Cubismo The big guy sent the Eastern-most container flying into the wall. If you want to move to that position, you're gonna have to pass him, and he'll get a Do you still want to move past him? If you want to move to another position and use your rolls from above, that's fine, but if you move past him he gets a free attack (though with the 50% miss chance from the obscure). I'll try to make an updated map soon.

@Dr Archeville The signal seems to be coming from an antenna at the top of the building, with an electronic signal being transfered to it by wires from about 10 floors below that.

GM Maybe they could hear Alice, maybe they couldn't, but at any rate, the so far hidden assailants kept attacking. With the grenade having had little effect, it seemed they were back to the stun rounds, shots raining down all over Shooting Star. Two would hit, one of them right in her face, too. The shots seemed to come from all around her, trying to push her back, keep her on defense. They seemed content to just stay back and take their time. Something was coming, heading towards Shooting Star. Whether she would notice or not in time was an entirely different question.
