  1. GM Alice was gone, and yet... Their gaze lingered on this world. Things had not happened as they had wanted. The story had not been the one that they had wanted to tell. They were not interested in stories of emotional turmoil, of anguish and pain. No, they wanted something else. They wanted love stories. And one way or another, they would find their stories.
  2. Yeah. Cap absorbs that, so... no effect. He won't heal from it yet, at least. Give me some ICs.
  3. Skill Mastery for 25.
  4. Based on some definitions... yes! I was surprised too! But since official seems to be around 45, I've changed that line! Some other updates: Removed Elusive Target feat and a rank of Subtle from the Flight power, spending those 2PP on some skills, and removed the rank 0 skills from the sheet.
  5. Rebellion It felt weird. His body covered in fur, it should feel weird, but it was… stranger than that. Like there was something more. Something under the fur, under the skin. It was like a voice, gnawing at the back of his head. Telling him to bite, to rend, to kill… to eat. But it was not a voice. Not really. It felt off to call it a voice. It was more than a voice. It was a howl. The change had come so suddenly. Elliot had been in his room at the Elysian dorms. He had homework. Why should Elysian Academy care about something like Halloween? If anything, it was just a good night to cause trouble, as Elliot’s teachers had pointed out several times. It was just a good tradition for the magically inclined members of their community. But Elliot? He had to focus on his tactics homework. Calling it tactics was generous. How to best cover for someone more important than you, take the fall. What to say to the lawyer, what to say to the cops. It was incredible how eager Elysian was to throw some students under the bus for the sake of others. More information to remember, more that he could use. He felt it inside before he felt it outside. The gnawing hunger, the howl. He fell to the floor. His skin was crawling, something scratching at him from the inside, something breaking out. His entire body stretching, contorting, changing. It hurt. It hurt so much. It was nothing like when he put on a mask. It was nothing like when he put on a mask. This was something else entirely. His body stretched. His clothes tore. His mouth stretched, his teeth grew into fangs. His fingers sharpened, becoming claws. Elliot threw his head back and howled to the sky. Several others from all around Elysian Academy joined the howl. He was not alone. Not the only wolf at the academy. If Elliot had known more about what was going on, he would not have been surprised. The rebellious wolf crashed through the door, into the hallway. Along the hallway, several other wolves broke free from their rooms, crashing into the hallways. One was on fire. One was breathing green gasses, its eyes glowing green. A third had massive, bat-like wings. Some part of the rebellious wolf that had been Elliot recognized them as some of the other students. The part of him that was the wolf howled and rushed down the hallway. His claws scraped against the floors as he moved. The first of the wolves, the one with the green breath, noticed him. It launched itself at him, its green spit flying all around it. Where it fell, it made sizzling noises, small green vapors rising. The floors and walls burned away from the corrosive substance. The wolf with the green breath clashed with the rebellious wolf. He could feel the claws digging into his chest, his fur stained with the red blood. He howled in pain. Almost like a scream. He pushed the other wolf back, into the wall, digging his claws into its shoulders. The werewolf with the noxious green breath and spit bit Elliot in the right shoulder. He could feel the teeth tearing through skin, flesh, blood… and then, it burned. Whatever the wolf was breathing, it burned, seeping into his body. With what strength he could muster, the rebellious wolf slammed the other into the wall once. Then again, harder than before. And again, and again, and again. Cracks started to form in the wall. The noxious wolf clawed at him, its movements growing ever more desperate. Elliot faintly registered that the burning werewolf and the one with the wings were fighting, moving wildly through the hallways, but at the moment, he was occupied. He slammed the noxious wolf into the wall again, and the grip of is jaws slacked, ever so slightly. Its attempts to tear Elliot apart weakened. He howled, and using the other wolf as leverage, Elliot broke the wall with its body, sending it flying through the building. It finally let go, lying still under the rubble of the wall. The rebellious wolf’s shoulder burned. The feeling was slowly spreading to its arm that hang limp by its side. It stepped back from the hole that was once a wall, staggering a few steps before noticing the other wolves further down the hallway. The winged wolf’s fur had been burned away in several places, but now it stood above the burning wolf, lowering its head to lock its jaws around its opponent’s throat. With his arm flailing behind him, Elliot slammed into the winged wolf, raking his claws across its face. It fell back, before using a wing to slam Elliot into a wall. The burning in the arm would not stop, but neither could he. He was strong. He would lead this pack. He would be the alpha. No more hiding what he was, what he could do. He was not a follower, he was not an Omega. He was an Alpha. But so was the winged wolf. It recovered far faster than the rebellious wolf had hoped. It tore at his weakened arm, drawing a yelp of pain from Elliot. It pulled at him, sending him flying into the ceiling. He fell to the ground once more, hard. He was on his feet faster than he should be, clawing and biting at the winged wolf. He would win. He would lead. The winged wolf wrapped its arms around him, its claws digging into his back. Elliot howled in pain. His fur was slowly growing more red than grey. With a powerful pull from its wings, the winged wolf set off, catapulting the two towards the ceiling, into the ceiling, through the ceiling, putting Elliot up between them, using him as a shield. They broke into the night sky, up to the full moon, flying higher and higher above the Elysian Academy. And then, it let go, and Elliot fell. He would not be the Alpha. He would not lead. But the next morning he would wake up in rubble, and no idea what had happened.
  6. You'll have to beat a Notice vs DC15 to find their hiding spots.
  7. Your sheet doesn't say directly, but I'm guessing that your powers got the Electricity descriptor?
  8. "If you say so." Pan stood up straight again, looking to Eira as Micah set off. He reached a hand out to her, his lips splitting into a wide grin. "Shall we?" If Eira took his hand or not, he set off, quickly moving to catch up to Micah. He looked to Eira first, the wide grin still on his lips, before it slowly faded as he looked at Micah. "Did it help?"
  9. Do a Notice check.
  10. GM Midnight. Elysian Academy was in the gated Sunset Hill community. Private security guards patrolled Sunset Hill as usual, but nothing Naomi would not be able to slip past. The lights were off at the Elysian Academy. The academy was made up of several buildings in an art deco style, three larger and two smaller. The students were in their rooms, sleeping. Each had a small, individual room. No need to breed friendships by having students bunking together. Naomi would be able to feel the vibrations of something patrolling the halls, moving rhytmically through the place. There was something artificial about the way they moved, sharp turns, perfect turns at every corner or intersection in the hallways. She could feel vibrations from under the buildings too, a soft hum. And something was moving across the roof of the main building.
  11. GM Billy struggled, but didn't really have time to react before he was set down and Shooting Star was gone again before he could protest. Of course, with Shooting Star gone, he had time to reach into his pocket... Back at the area with the mystery gunmen, they didn't seem to waste time continuing to shoot at Shooting Star. No words, nothing being shouted back at her, just shots flying all around her. A single found its mark, sending an electric shock shooting through her body the moment it Shooting Star's shoulder.
  12. it'll be a move action to get there and a free action to drop him, so another move action to get back. For the record, if you wanna do all that with just one move action with your high speed, pick up the Move-By Action feat. You're fast. But the moment you get back they all open fire on you... but now they're switching things up a bit: 21 11 11 13 Just one hit, but... Give me a DC15 Fortitude Save vs. Stun 17 - Shooting Star - 0HP - Unharmed 7 - Attackers - x4? - Unharmed
  13. Nevermore II "Just what I was thinking," Charlie pointed at Oliva's theory. "Casanova's already proven that he isn't shy about using his powers on anyone, so I wouldn't say that's something he wouldn't do. Isn't that right, Zach?" He looked to the sonic teen with a mix of a question and a statement in his voice. Except for Olivia, they had all seen what Casanova had done, after all. "Sneaking out past Summers' curfew isn't that easy, but if Casanova's crew can do it, then we can do it too. Its gotta be a school tradition at this point, doesn't it?"
  14. Just... waiting? Letting others come to their rescue? Was that really what they wanted to do? No. No, that would not do at all. The others might be fine with staying still, just waiting for a rescue, but not Pan, no. "No, no, not magic," he reassured, as he began to approach Lon, holding his hands out to the side, showing them to the man. "Just a little trick that I picked up some time ago." He smiled, slowly moving closer. "Tell me a bit more about all of you! I am sure we can work something out if you just tell us a bit about yourselves. Why do you come to the Earth, of all places? Where is this Admiral of yours?"
  15. Pan bluffs: 33
  16. Justice Blood and guts. Of course Aquaria smelled blood and guts. Things just had to get better, didn't it? Salvo talked about interdimensional magic, Ouroboros said that it was heavily warded... Alright, she understood some of it, she had been studying with Salvo, but still... This was way beyond her. "I know tech. This... isn't. This is way too weird." Power? That she could do, at least. "Alright, I'll try to direct it, just... give me a sec to fiddle with the controls a bit and... get ready, alright?" While she spoke, she brought up her right gauntlet and brought up a hidden display, fiddled with the controls a bit, and then reached out to grab Salvo's hand. "Its gonna sting."
  17. GM "We don't know. The bank was packed." The officer stared strangely at him at the natural lights question, and gestured to the building. It was on the bottom of an office building, at least twenty floors tall. The front of the bank had large glass doors , but otherwise didn't show much of what was happening inside. It didn't have a lot of natural light from what they could see. "Look, we don't know. Man, this isn't some movie. Look, it all happened a few minutes ago, they haven't made any demands beyond leaving them alone or they'll start shooting hostages and we can't just pull the power to an entire block like that." He seemed frustrated, reaching up to rub the bridge of his nose. "Look, just... If you got something, try. Just... keep people safe, please."
  18. Nevermore II "Everyone, meet Arrow. She is, of course, way better than the rest of us." Charlie motioned with a hand and a grin. He looked Pol and Luke over briefly, then the others that were dressed a bit more casually, at least. "Happy you're all here, so... I'm sure you all heard about Casanova and his little New Young Freedom crew, right?" he crossed his arms while he spoke. Of course they had. How could they not? "So, I've been looking at what they've been up to, and it just doesnt really add up. They're out in Bayview almost every night, and they run into trouble every time they go out? That's... well, that's just really improbable." As in, that didn't even happen every time he had gone to the Fens or Southside with the Raven. Way too many night patrols were just boring with nothing happening or anything like that. Not that he had to bring that up right now. "I figured I'd track them a bit, see what they're up to tonight... you guys want in?"
  19. TOU save for the guy: 12 He's down Notice for the sounds of fighting: 27 They know Alek's there too, but they can't see him. Of the individuals, only SW guy remains, currently positioned right by the elevator, close to Arrow. @Cubismo is up 20 - Raven III - 3HP - Unharmed 19 - Arrow IV - 2HP - Unharmed, Discovered 16 - Criminals - 3 visible on walkways, 3x KO - 4 visible among crates and containers, 3x KO (NE, NW, SE) - 6 visible under skylight 6 - Nevermore II - 3HP - Unharmed - Darkness obscure effect: 10/10 rounds remaining
  20. Eira's ghost stepped into the girl, or did she become the girl? Pan had noticed her lingering gaze, even if Eira did not. He dismissed the image of the ghost that he had overlaid it the moment she disappeared. He looked at the girl, with just a hint of worry in his eyes, but he bit his tongue rather than speak. A ghost and a girl, all merged together? No, that would not lead to trouble. Of course it would not lead to trouble. "Let us go home to your parents, then," he said softly to Eira, holding her hand tight still. "This seems over, at least for the moment."
  21. Round, spinning, twisting, turning, being pulled all around... and Pan just laughed the entire way, holding on to Eira's hand. "I could show you much faster and much higher," he whispered to Eira as she hooked her arm through his, his grin showing the challenge. He continued in Swedish, <"But maybe later. Perhaps we it is time we teach these two how to be proper tricksters." He shook his head, grimacing at Leon. "Judging from your color, I think she can handle it better than you." He winked at Leon. "But maybe you just need to sit down? Perhaps it was too much?"
  22. Justice can't really do much magic wise (yet), but if AA allows I can use an Aid action by trying to siphon some power from her amulet and use it to boost Ouroboros? Its the one that powers pretty much everything in her suit with magic energy.
  23. GM The boy stood up straight. "Sir, yes, sir!" He made a quick salute, then approached, marching down towards the young heroes. He smiled. The stars on his shirt slowly shifted, twisting and turning until they instead showed a big Q. "My name is Quirk, and we're going to have some fun!"
  24. Spaceman Who was that kid? Parked was distracted from the class for the moment. He hadn't even noticed until Lucas brought up the point. The kids hadn't noticed anything unusual, but why would they? They didn't know the class. But Parker hadn't seen the kid around either, and why would he be here in the first place? "I'm sorry, but I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you sure you're in the right class? What's your name, son?"
  25. GM "Yeesh, where did you come from?" The officer in charge looked at Steel Spider, nearly spilling his coffee in the process. He wasn aolder man, probably a few years away from retirement. He looked the hero up and down for a moment. "Steel Spider? Never heard of you." He seemed to think it over for a moment, before motioning towards the bank with his other hand. "We got a hostage situation here. Bunch of guys in full tactical gear came in those two trucks," he motioned towards the armored trucks, "run into the bank, start shooting at people, some security guard draws his weapon and get gunned down for his trouble. Someone starts the alarm, and here we are." "There's at least 10 bad gys there, according to witnesses." He paused to point at a group of people standing behind some cars, being interviewed by a few other officers. "So, what do you think you can do about that, hero?"
