REBELLION "WHAT THE HELL!?" Elliot's yell broke any silence that might have been since the Terror's swift exit. "Why the hell was that thing here again!?" He could feel his heart pounding. He fell to his knees. Again. The Terror came to his home again. And Elaine was way too calm about the whole thing. Of course, she hadn't been here last time, had she? No, it had just been him and Aunt Elaine... and the Terror.

GM "Damn right, we're Ultio Suit Users!" one of the armored men said, beating a fist at his chest. "We're the real heroes this city needs! Just look at this, you guys were struggling until we showed up!" "Yeah!" the other one agreed. "You guys were getting beat before we came in and saved the day. So how about you just hand over the big guy, we'll hand him over to the cops over there and we'll say you're even for us saving you?" The cops were starting to gather their wits. The Mafiya members had fled or been carried away in the confusion, leaving just the big guy, and the three prison transports.

GM The Tea Party Guests stumbled around, some holding their ears, some yelling and trying to make sense of what was going on without anyone to tell them what to do. Waverider's efforts had paid off, giving the heroes a moment's respite from the civilians that they were trying to keep safe. A single moment where they didn't have to worry about hitting anyone but the Looking Glass Gang around them. On screens around them, in various shops and stores, they image of the White Rabbit appeared. He was smiling, it was almost as if he was looking at them. Oh no, oh no, have you heard, my dear friends? Some people just don't want a party? They're at the Yellow Brick Row, giving our dear friends Bill and the Dormouse some trouble. Hurry, hurry now! Go and help our friends!

Justice "They're Ultio Suit Users." Justice's tone was colder than it had been before. She was grasping her right arm with her land hand. There was a bruise under the armor that was starting to become sore. Still, she stood up straight. "MarsTech gives them points for doing hero work, they use it for better suits, better powers." And they had stolen Justice's tech to make those suits. She didn't like that part at all, but this wasn't the time or place. Maybe later. "You guys didn't really help, so how about backing down? I'm sure the cops can handle it from here, yeah?" She should probably get out of there soon, right?

Justice Robin handed over the amulet with a hint of hesitation, giving it a long hard look before letting go of it. She had to admit that she found at least a little bit of satisfaction in Salvo's reaction to seeing Z-Space. It was a pretty cool place, after all. "Yeah, I know." Robin shrugged, throwing her hands out to the side. "Trust me, I've tried to find out what that thing is, but nothing's really worked. Its some kind of weird energy, its connected to Z-Space somehow, and it gives a massive energy output. That's all I've really figured out, no matter what kind of tools I've tried." She followed Salvo into the kitchen. Robin was starting to feel a bit anxious. Salvo still had the amulet, and honestly, she kind of wanted to get it back in her hands. She hadn't been this far from it for a long while. And then Salvo gave her little speech on magic and it all sort of clicked into place. "Wait, magic? The amulet's magic?" If she sounded like she didn't believe it, then that wasn't quite right. She just hadn't considered it. "How can you tell? I didn't even think about it. All of this," she spread her arms out, motioning towards the open window, "it didn't really scream magic, y'know." She shook her head at the question about magic. "I don't really know magic, but I know its there. I've seen my share of stuff in Emerald, y'know. There's lots of hidden secrets." Robin took a step back when the amulet was suddenly held up between them. Salvo's voice sounded more like a command than anything, like she didn't have a choice. She was getting into Robin's personal space, and asking about her family here, even if she didn't know about it. Robin hesitated. Should she tell Salvo? She was rough around the edges, she could be a pain, but she was a hero, right? And Robin was the one talking about trust. "My grandmother gave it to me. I got no idea where she got it, but she's had it since forever."

Alright, not exactly what Mette had meant, but it probably worked! She thought Eira might have some kinda fancy hacking systems or something like that, and she should probably ask about what the brat could do at some point, but right now, it meant they cameras weren't looking directly at them, so that was something at least, right? Mette pulled her hand slightly back when it passed through Muirne, staring at the shadowy tendrils with a mix of fascination and horror. Just what was her powers? What was this entire thing that was going on with her? She gritted her teeth, fighting back against that light feeling of dread. That wasn't what Muirne needed right now. "What do you mean? What kind of magic?" She clearly had issues with magic. Mette probably shouldn't tell her how her own powers were probably some kind of magic, right? "There's magic in this place?" She looked over at Klara. "Can robots even do magic?"

GM "We'll take them." Ultio Blue seemed set, reaching out his hands towards Ultra Girl to have Ultio Red handed over, while some of the other Ultio Suits went for the other fallen. He looked at the Ultra Girl and the Dreamer briefly. "You should go. There's probably some other groups heading this way soon." Then he was off, flying to the West, the rest of the group following close by. The Dreamer, the Carnifex, the Dreams and Ultra Girl were left behind, alone where a fight had just taken place. They would perhaps notice that people had appeared on the streets, some with phones held up and filming the battle. If they wanted to leave, it would probably be a good idea to do it soon.

REBELLION Elliot looked around when the sound disappeared. His expression changed rapidly. Surprised, alert, wary, then some measure of safety when he looked down at Naomi's latest message on the phone. The side of his lips curled into a crooked grin that quickly disappeared, before he waved his concern off. "I'm fine. Don't worry about that. This is more important anyway." He looked around again, making a loud "HMPH!", and when no one reacted, he leaned forward, holding a hand up to the side of his mouth so that no one else could see. "Did you look into the Elysian Academy? Its not really a fun place, but its worse... so, I'm gonna expose myself a bit here, but don't take this the wrong way: Its a super villain school. My parents pretty much forced me to enroll there, wasn't my choice. They're trying to teach us all to be villains or something like that, and the headmaster really doesn't like MarsTech's whole Ultio Suit thing. I'm not sure what exactly they're up to, but they want to do something big."

REBELLION Elliot shook his head. "No, this seat's taken. I'm waiting for somebody. There's all these other places you can go." The guy looked back with a snort, then turned around and walked away. He didn't seem pleased about it, but he didn't seem like he wanted to fight it either. With a groan, Elliot leaned forward over the table, burying his face in his arms. He seemed tired. Absolutely tired. Like he had barely slept for a few days. Still, he let out a weak smile when he looked up to see Naomi. "Hey." He still had some bruises. Some of them seemed recent. "Sorry, that guy just kept bugging me to use the seat. I dunno what his deal was, he just really wanted to sit here." He shook his head, sat up straight and took a long sip from his cup. "So, uh... yeah. Remember the school I go to that I told you about? That you and your "friends" might want to look into?" He looked around, like he was trying to make sure that no one was looking. "It's getting worse. They're planning something big."

Justice Wait, what was that, under Visionary? A door? A hand? Oh hell no. A quick reach into a portal, and Robin pulled out the Justice Buster, quickly, but carefully, taking aim. He was down there, the crowds were in the way and she really didn't want to him them, but she had way around that, at least. "Visionary, look out below!" She fired. She had set the Justice Buster to lightning. An electric blast surged from the weapon, directly into a rainbow colored swirling portal. Another portal opened up right in front of the door, between Visionary and the Dormouse, releasing the lightning blast directly at him. Moving along the wall, she pulled down into the street again, doing her best to steer the Law Rider around people.

GM Not the best shots, but good enough. With Justice's hit followed by Emerald Spider's, while Kanunu held on to the man in the cape, it was just too much and he slumped over, held almost lifeless in Kanunu's arms. The froth on his mouth mixed with spit that dripped to the ground at his feet. The prison transports stood still, the three Ultio Suit Users standing a bit awkwardly nearby before one of them finally decided to speak up. "I... I'll need you to hand him over. We need to deliver him to the proper authorities." He paused, like he wasn't sure exactly what else to say. "We need it to get points, y'know."

Since he's held by Kanunu, that's a hit! TOU: 16 That's damage, and he's out. Moving out of combat, at least for now, but to keep a bit of order, @angrydurf is up next.

REBELLION Talk? A deal? The Terror didn't make deals. The Terror didn't talk with anyone. It just destroyed. Put on the mask. Reveal himself to his mother and sister. Fight the Terror. That's the right thing to do, right? Save his mother... and yet, he couldn't. Elliot was utterly paralyzed. Unmoving, What could he do? What should he do? His grip on the mask in his hand tightened. "L-let her go!" Remain calm? He couldn't remain calm. What the hellh had his mom done to get the Terror sent for her?

GM 3PM, August 25th, 2020 University Hill, Emerald City Naomi might not have expected that Elliot would ever take her up on the offer to talk or help with the issues at his school, but months after their meeting, she had received a simple text message: Things are getting worse at the school. I need your help. Meet me at the Starbucks to the South of the University Hill Campus. The Starbucks was busy. People talking all around. A lot of people that Naomi recognized from the university, some that she shared classes with, others that she had only see. It wasn't completely crowded, but there was enough people around that it would be difficult for anyone to cause a scene of any kind without being noticed. She would soon see Elliot, sitting by himself by a table, fending off a guy that asked if he could sit.

GM Ahab looked up, the projectile hit its target. A perfect shot, a perfect hit, he would have been knocked back and away if Pan's shadow wasn't holding on to him. Falling limp, he let out a single, short groan, while the two pretty heroes flew towards him. And then, the tower shook. The entire shanty town built inside the whale rolled back and forth, as a massive roar echoed through the cave. The Whale was waking up, aware of what was transpiring inside. As Pan's shadow fled to his side once more, a massive gust of wind dragged at them from above. Together, they could resist it. Ahab was not quite as lucky. His prone form was pulled up, into the darkness of the blowhole above. Then, another roar. Another pull of air, this time much stronger than the last one. In the shanty town below, everyone was struggling to hold on. Bits and pieces of the town were pulled away, towards teh blow hole. The third and final blow was the one that did it. With far more force than either Gauss or the Forever Boy could withstand, they were pulled up, out, being catapulted out of the whale and into the night sky. The whale leapt out of the water. For a moment it appeared it wished to swallow them again. It was monstrous, greater in size than any creature should be. Then, it was gone. Vanished, almost as if it had never been there. Ahab was nowhere to be seen, or heard.

Since its thematic, I'm gonna let Ahab fail that and get KO'ed. Now, follow to the GM post! Gonna fiat them beig pulled in, cus PLX monster whale doing its thing! I figure another post from each of us, then a closing GM post.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong? Everything alright?" Damn, Muirne was fast. Much faster than Mette usually was on dry land. "C'mon, relax, calm down alright?" She tried her best, but even if she liked Muirne, she didn't really know her all that well. Not yet, at least. And then a robot with wings came down from above and adressed them. That was... something. It took a moment for Mette to realize it was Eira. She managed to stop herself from saying anything about the change in appearance, or to question if it was Eira. "How about asking Muirne herself?" she asked, placing a hand on Muirne's shoulder. "C'mon, what happened?" Something else caught her eyes. SOme drones, hovering over by the treeline, watching them... "You guys see those things over there?" she asked, motioning lightly with her head. "Something you can do something about, Angelic?" Codename time, right?

Nevermore II Callie was good. Like, real good. Then again, she was supposed to grow up to become the second Raven, right? When he had gotten the invitation, Charlie hadn't wasted any time. A birthday party, and Callie wanted his help? Oh yes, he was in. He had arrived early, waiting and taking in the scene. One of Alek's ground rules that was sticking: Always take notice of the scene before going in somewhere. It had kind of stuck. So, he had watched Callie arrive, and enter, just waiting behind before finally moving through the building a bit after her, just waiting and watching her work, until finally deciding to let her know he was there. If she hadn't already discovered him, of course. "Y'know, before I met you I never thought anyone would put in security to keep time travelling versions of themselves out." Short pause, he smiled. "Still, nice work."

Justice "Sure, you're probably used to trippy, but.." Robin continued, a bit of humor returning to her voice as she pressed a button, and a defensive shield moved away from a window, revealing a swirling sky of all the colors of the rainbow and many more out there. She felt it was appropriate to start with that, at least. "As far as I can tell, that's some kind of visual metaphor of the multiverse out there. All kinds of things and creatures drift out here, but I haven't really seen any guardians or anything like that. There's this guy that's calling himself Professor Zed I've met a few times, but he seems pretty harmless, and he haven't found the AnneX yet." She fiddled a bit with the amulet that she had previously slotted into her belt, before holding it up. "This thing. It was a gift, then suddenly it opened a portal and I found myself in here. Its a pretty effective power source too, I was able to do a whole lot more with my armor after that, and started moving everything here after I found this place. I'm not sure who build it, but I've been able to get a pretty good thing going here, at least." "I usually just sleep on the couch, to be honest. A bed haven't really been a priority, right? But the place is pretty big. I've only set up the rooms I needed so far."

Name: Charles 'Charlie' Gordon Pym Codename: Nevermore II Year: Sophomore Pronouns: He/Him/His Prospective Roommate: Surprise me! Goal: Charlie is at Claremont to learn how to become a better hero. He's a driven individual, hard working and out to prove himself. The Raven has sent him to Claremont for training, and he wants to surpass his mentor's expectations, even if he doesn't necessarily want to follow all his rules. On a personal level, Charlie sees Claremont as a chance to find friends and allies, maybe start building a bit of a network. First Impression: Charlie wants to be noticed. He's planning on wearing his usual jeans and t-shirt, ready with a quick joke or some snark. He's more than willing to show off with just what he can do, but he's not about to create situations like that unless necessary. He already knows that he won't be following the Raven's orders on staying under the radar.

Name: Pan Barrie Codename: Forever Boy Year: Senior Pronouns: He/Him/his Current Intramural Team: Blue Squad Current Roommate: Micah Roebuck aka Thunderbird Reflection: While Pan is disappointed that he haven't been able to return to Neverworld yet, he is still searching for a way home. Still, life has been good to him, he has bonded well with his friends, found a girlfriend, and he has plenty of opportunity for more friends and adventure in the coming year. Community Cause: Pan wants to make friends and be friendly with just about everyone. He is ready to welcome new students to Claremont, and to try to help newcomers from other worlds adjust to life in a place that might be so different from their own world.
