  1. Justice Ah, great. Ultio Suits. Robin found herself glaring at them behind her mask. Seriously, those guys had to show up now? She'd tried wearing one of those suits, they were high tech. And they were, at least partially, based on her own suits. She was about to yell something, but she really didn't have the time, did she? "Back off before he catch you!" The people in the suits might mean well, or they might not. She still had to try to warn them, the guy was big and dangerous, they hadn't even hurt him. Full power to engines, then. Swinging her leg up in a sweeping motion, she aimed straight for the back of the guy's head... and it actually did something beyond annoy him. "Ah, crap." Powering on her jet boots, she quickly jumped back, putting some distance between them.
  2. Justice goes to help Kanunu, kicking at him with a Justice Strike: 24 Spending the move action to move away, out of his immediate reach. That's a hit. 3. GM For poor Bill the Lizard, everything shook. His entire body seemed to shake and vibrate, almost like a personalized earthquake. He steadied himself, he tried to remain up, shaking his head and tried to remain calm. The Dormouse looked at his friend, as he shook about. He looked positively puzzled, perplexed and surprised. Whatever was happening to his friend, the little lizard? "A time to go and a time to stay, I dare say." He stepped into the door he had held open. It closed behind him, leaving Bill the Lizard and the party goers with the people in the street.
  4. Alright, sorry for the delay! Bill clears his daze Dormouse does a Dormouse thing and steps into the door, closing it behind him. @Dr Archeville you're up. 25 - Waverider - 2HP - Unharmed 22 - Bill the Lizard - Bruise (x1) 21 - Dormouse - Unharmed 19 - Protectron - 4HP - Unharmed 18 - Emerald Spider - 1HP - Unharmed 18 - Justice - 4HP - Unharmed 11 - Visionary - 2HP - Unharmed 6 - Tea Party Guests - Unharmed
  5. REBELLION Like a switch was turned off, all the remaining zombies fell down the moment Abracadaver was smashed through the walls. The shadows had been too much for him. He might be in pain, he might be dead. Rebellion didn't feel like bothering to find out. Of course Abracadaver had to be alive, or whatever he was. Standing straight up, he looked around. He had to get out of there now. He had the book, he had the hard drive. Most importantly, he had information. Mingzhu could be gone, or finding reinforcements. Part of him wanted to find her, but he had to get the things away, to a safe location. There had to be some way out of here. Either a window to smash through, or the path that he had entered through. He would pick the fastest choice.
  6. Alright, its go time now, I think. Mingzhu might be gone, but looking for her might risk the hard drive and book that Reb's picked up, so... run for the hills!
  7. REBELLION Elliot let Naomi pull him away while the group stood and bickered, or at least tried to. He had to admit that he got at least some pleasure out of that. "Elysian Academy's fun like that." Of course, he was also far from stupid. He had seen plenty of powers in use before, and there was no way this was just a coincidence. Not when it just suddenly stuck like that. Wells had offered the limo, so why not follow for now? And maybe learn something. Once they were far enough away, he let go of Naomi and crossed his arms. "So, who are you guys, really? I'm pretty sure three bullies don't just go deaf all at once."
  8. GM "Hey, I'm not done with you!" The pale guy shouted then stopped and reached for his ears. "Hey!" The other two looked around, the big guy opening his mouth and saying "What?" followed by some more shouting back and forth. It seemed pretty clear that, for the moment at least, they had completely forgotten all about Naomi, Raya and Elliot, and isntead stood around talking among themselves. Or trying to, at least. It mostly evolved into a series of "I can't hear you!"s and "What!?"
  9. Black spit, that hardened to stabilize the cracks, at least while he held it up. Parker had to admit that his ally was right. It was gross, but it was useful, and he had seen worse. Hopefully it would hold, at least until someone could get down here to properly stabilize everything. His own powers might work, but only temporarily. "Nice job." She sounded like she doubted herself. Hopefully Parker could help with that a bit. But with that out of the way, he needed to get the thing that attacked them and scavengers out of here. "Alright, you guys are out of time." He crossed his arms in front of his chest, looking down at the scavengers. The inert robot floated behind him. "Move out while you got the chance. Don't even bother trying to run away, got it?"
  10. GM "The hell!?" The second evil Justice, the one near the not evil Justice, cursed loudly at the smoke, as Salvo's lightning struck the area all around them, but missing the pair. "Get' em! Come on!" He fired wildly into the smoke, far from hitting Justice. The other seemed less confident, even as she fired into the smoke. "We gotta get out of here. Can't even see what we're fighting! Come on!" The pellets didn't even come close to catching Salvo.
  11. Justice Robin moved forward, dancing around the second evil Justice. Why did they have to look like her? She was sure this was therapeutic for some people, but she honestly didn't need that. No issues like that, right? They were firing wildly, couldn't really see anything, but her goggles were active, looking straight through the smoke. She could handle this. The bad guys couldn't. So, they weren't copying her armor, just the look. Good to know. "So, who are you? And who sent you?" A punch, powered by the armor's engines, but it just struck against the bad guy's force field. So, high tech, or powers? Probably tech, but something more.
  12. Yep, that misses. Justice moves into melee with Evil Justice 2 and goes for Justice Strikes: 20, that's a hit. DC25 TOU save: 25, just makes it. Evil Justice 2 tries to shoot at Justice: 28 Misses on 11+: 19, that's a miss. Evil Justice 1 tries to shoot at Salvo. I'll consider that an automatic miss since you got Subtle on the flight. You're up. ICs coming soon. 14 - Justice - 2HP - Bruise (x1) 7 - Evil Justice 2 (The Man) - Justice - Bruise (x1) 7 - Evil Justice 1 - Unharmed 2 - Salvo - 0HP - Bruise (x2)
  13. "Seems like you have a lot of friends all around," Pan murmured before stepping into the portal. He had declined the goggles. He wanted to see. He didn't tell the others why. Maybe it was The fifth dimension was a swirl, vibrating colors violently assaulting his senses. Everything around him. It was confusing, it was nauseating. Everything bombarded him, but he kept his eyes open, an odd smile playing over his lips despite the situation. His grip on Eira's hand tightened, and then he stumbled out of the portal, catching himself just before falling. He seemed dazed, shook his head, but still grinned. "I suppose that was a bad idea." He seemed to be a bit uneasy, even after waving at Quickstep as she left. He quickly caught up with Eira, reaching out and catching her hand as she led them towards the manor, his feet touching the ground once more. "Oh, is that all? I thought you lived in a castle, not just some shabby manor." He stuck his tongue out at her, before shifting slightly to look at the manor again.
  14. As discussed, more to do with the big guy being an idiot, not really a common stereotype as far as I know. Anyway, let me know what you do. Worth a HP if you escalate, but your choice whether to bite or not.
  15. That's a hit, and TOU: 20, Bill is Dazed and gets a bruise.. Give me an IC. 25 - Waverider - 2HP - Unharmed 22 - Bill the Lizard - Bruise (x1), Dazed 21 - Dormouse - Unharmed 19 - Protectron - 4HP - Unharmed 18 - Emerald Spider - 1HP - Unharmed 18 - Justice - 4HP - Unharmed 11 - Visionary - 2HP - Unharmed 6 - Tea Party Guests - Unharmed
  16. REBELLION Abracadaver was powerful. Too powerful. Reacting by pure instinct, Rebellion lashed out, shadows striking out against the magic, matching it, pushing back slightly. How was he even doing this? He could change shape. He could channel that to strengthen himself. He was smart, he saw things, he could scare everyone in his path. He couldn't create shadows that struck his enemies. Not until now, at least. He focused, he had to control it, somehow. Watching, waiting, seeing everything that Abracadaver was doing, pushing back against the magic strikes. He had to stop it. Had to push it back. Ignore whatever nonsense Abracadaver was shouting about. Madness? Secrets not meant for mortal ears? Doesn't matter. Push back. Dark tendrils of shadows pushing out, away, against everything around him. No need to listen.
  17. Power check: 26 and IC coming up
  18. Justice: 18 Bill the Lizard: 22 You're not alone in this, EP! Dormouse: 21 Tea Party Guests: 6 The Tea Party Guests will act more as an obstacle than an actual threat to fight. They will all act at the same turn, but won't be able to do much to actually hurt you. Still, they will get in your way, and they're innocents, so you'd probably do your best to try not to hurt them too much! Right now, they're taking up a lot of space, making it difficult to move around or avoid them, and any area attack will hit them. @EternalPhoenix you're up. Turn order: 25 - Waverider - 2HP - Unharmed 22 - Bill the Lizard - Unharmed 21 - Dormouse - Unharmed 19 - Protectron - 4HP - Unharmed 18 - Emerald Spider - 1HP - Unharmed 18 - Justice - 4HP - Unharmed 11 - Visionary - 2HP - Unharmed 6 - Tea Party Guests - Unharmed
  19. "Yes, yes, everything slow, but... this is magic! Not even from this world! It is curious why it still abides by the absolute law of being slow, is it not?" It was interesting! Why did it work like that? Turning back to the conversation, he glanced between Ashley and Judy again, his eyes eventually settling on Ashley. "So, what do you have against the zoo?" He sounded genuinely curious, of course.
  20. "Maybe." Pan didn't exactly agree with Mia and Micah, but he didn't dismiss them either, while he kept looking around. He flittered about, and glanced at Mia. He seemed thoughtful, for just a moment, then grinned. "So who would be late for you?" He didn't have time to get responses before the air caught on fire. Pan should probably have fled, but he remained floating just above the ground, his face full of awe and excitement, which quickly turned to a smile as he saw Eira. "Hi Eira." He took her hand, squeezing it tightly. His light green colors clashed wonderfully with her dark clothing. "Always have to travel in style, no?" Still holding on to Eira's hand, he made a quick bow in the direction of Quickstep. "Hello, I am Pan the Forever Boy!"
  21. @EternalPhoenix I'd like to trigger your No, I Don’t Know That Guy From That Show complication, if you think what the big guy is saying is enough for that.
  22. GM The big guy paused a bit, looking at Naomi's sign, then put his hands up and took a step or two away, the same stupid grin plastered all over his lips. "Sorry, sorry! Thought you Indian babes were s'posed to be easy!" But it didn't seem like Ralph was just going to accept them leaving like that. "Did I say I was done? You think you're too good for me, huh?" He held up his hand, some lightning crackling up his fingers as he grinned at Raya, taking a quick step closer to her. "That punk's gotta learn what it means to be an Omega. He's the lowest of the low, good for nothing. You should just stay away." Of course, the commotion was drawing interest from people around them. It wasn't like the three kids could do much without someone seeing it. But the question was whether anyone would take that bait, or just go.
  23. REBELLION Elliot looked back and forth between Wells, Naomi and the three guys from the academy. They were both ready to step up and fight after Ralph had already shown them what he could do, and they were ready to stand up to them anyway? So, they were suicidal or knew more than they let on? He stood back a moment, thinking about Wells' offer. "Y'know, that sounds good." He waved, a smirk playing over his lips. He had to make it look good, didn't he? "Later Ralph, have fun with your buddies." That didn't mean he would take his eyes off them. Not that he could do much right now, could he?
  24. As we discussed on discord: - I've removed the Luck feat from the H.E.R.O. Mode Armor, since it counting as something temporary and that limiting Fortune Feats makes sense. I've replaced it with the Defensive Attack feat. - I've added the Power Up Let Down complication to the Justice armor, which lets the GM veto any use of the armor, just to make it explicit that it can't always be used, and noted that this complication does not award HP. - I've added the Power Drain complication to H.E.R.O. Mode armor, to make it explicit that the GM can award a HP to make any of the H.E.R.O. Mode armor's powers malfunction because of its massive power drain. I also added a few lines about the power drain on the suit to the power description.
  25. @EternalPhoenix just waiting for your Initiative.
