  1. @Tarrakhash, you're up then
  2. The window showed a woman in a purple and dark grey armor, kicking through a robot with the MarsTech logo. The others probably wouldn't recognize that armor, but Julia did. She turned to look up at the being as the other image was shown. An armor so close to hers, but slightly differente. And standing in a board room that looked very familiar... "Fine. I'm in." Still, Julia stared at the window. If they were just close, destined to be hero... then why would her replacement be an alternate of her? Why did they need Justice?
  3. GM The burst from behind sent the dragon to just above the ground, stopping only by flapping its mighty wings, then barrelling forward towards the still fleeing crowds. The manhole cover hit it, but did little more than annoy it before it landed around fleeing crowds. "ENOUGH! I come to help, to offer aid to your people, to free you from your masters, and this is how you respond? I come in peace, and you attack me? Is this how you wish I respond? Should I strike the innocents in your charge? EVERYONE STOP MOVING!" The dragon released flames into the air to make its point. "Do you believe me a monster, little heroes? Do you wish to attack while I stand among the innocents in your care?"
  4. That's a hit. TOU: 25 The dragon doesn't attack any of you, but see IC. 31 - Levity - 3HP - Unharmed 17 - Chromium - 1HP - Unharmed 12 - Dragon - Bruise (x2)
  5. REBELLION Idiots. Coming to investiage, they heard the strange chants, and then they decided to move closer? Not that he was one to talk, of course, but Rebellion had been doing this for a while now. These men were just... accomplishes. Drivers. Idiots for hire. Rebellion felt the pull, something, the chanting, the voices, it was trying to do something. He could feel it, but Rebellion was made of sterner stuff. The idiots probably weren't. From his position, he let loose the part of him that was the Terror. The primal fear unleashed, directed directly at the two men. One wet his pants. The other started mumbling. Then they turned and ran. Raw, primal fear. The great equalizer. Rebellion dropped down to the floor from his position, still appearing as one with his surroundings. If they were idiots for coming to investigate, then what did that say about himself? Of course he walked into the darkness, towards the song. He could do no less.
  6. Attack roll: 16 That's a hit, even without the flat footed. Give me a DC19 Fortitude Save vs. Stun.
  7. Is she always like this? Mette tried to focus her thoughts on Muirne. Could she even do that? The rest could probably hear it too, but did it really matter? She tried to make her mental tone joking, but was that even really a thing? This whole psychic thing was so confusing... Look out for Swedes, you never know what'll set them off. Best bring a beer and some heavy metal if you want her to calm down. Mette stepped out of the car along with the others, nodding to the driver. Non-sentient or not, he was still the driver. This was still so weird. And not really anything like what she had imagined her first team up with someone outside Denmark would be like. "So, uh... who exactly is this Kay? And why are they here in the first place?" Ah, the joys of not knowing anyone.
  8. "Or perhaps just no one at Claremont that you know about," Pan added. "But yes, I agree. As impressive as that blow was, it seemed like the room is made of sterner stuff." He moved to the spot where Eira had tried to punch, placing his fingers on it, like he was trying to find teh exact spot she had hit, then stepped back. Throwing his right hand out to the side, golden dust flashed out from nowhere, seemingly gathering from all around his body, gathering and solidifying into a golden rapier, his hand closing around its hilt. "If brute force doesn't work and you can't talk to the systems, then I suppose we will have to start looking for airducts? I think Micah showed me a movie with an officer that crawled through them a lot." Pan lunged forward, stabbing at the spot that Eira had hit. The rapier might seem thin and fragile, but as with much else about Pan, it was of course more than met the eye.
  9. Well, in that case... time for stabbing things! Pan summons a Forever Sword and starts stabbing at the wall. That's DC27 w. Penetrating 5 for the wall.
  10. GM The man looked up. He didn't even have time time to respond to Justice before the Emerald Spiderw as there, her Spdr Blasts raining down on him, knocking him back and falling down. All done? Not quite. Justice and Emerald Spider heard a crash from below. The entire building they were on shook. For Kanunu, the danger was much more immediate than a shaking building, as a massive man crashed through the wall right next to Kanunu. He stood at least 7 feet tall, his upper body grossly out of proportion to his slightly more normal looking legs. He wore dark purple pants, a green shirt and purple gloves, with a purple mask that left only his mouth free, and a short purple cape hanging behind him. Everything about his appearance just screamed villain. His eyes were wild, completely white, no iris or pupils visible. With one massive lunge, he completed his movement through the wall, slamming straight into Kanunu and quickly trying to wrap himself around the hero.
  11. Mafiya boss TOU: 9. KO The newcomer smashes through a wall next to Kanunu and charges into him: 30, hit and critical. He got Improved Grab and uses the hit to try to Grapple Kanunu. Grapple check: 42 @angrydurf Give me a TOU save vs. DC35, followed by an opposed grapple vs. 42 Then you're up. @Tiffany Korta: Give me a Notice check. 23 - Kanunu - 4HP - Unharmed 22 - Justice - 4HP - Unharmed - DEF+5/TOU+15 20 - Emerald Spider - 1HP - Unharmed 16 - Super Villain? - Unharmed 9 - Mafiya Soldiers x20 - 3 Snared, 17x KO 3x Transports: Protected by Water Dome, TOU 18
  12. GM Ryu was almost giggling, despite the situation. He shook his head, snickering even as his men shot and missed. A single bullet bounced off Visionary. "Poison, huh? What kind of hero are you supposed to be, if you're using stuff like that?" Don't even care about your own friend getting caught up in it, do you?" He moved to the side, towards a nearby shop. "You three, listen up! The word is given! And the word is Yaoguai."
  13. Ryu speaks and start moving towards a nearby shop. The 6 members of Group A attacks. Two of them shoots at Visionary, the other 4 at Venomx (including the one that's slowed) Visionary: 13 15, 1 hit, but blocked by Impervious. Venomax: (Slowed) 12 (rest) 7 19 8, all miss. @Exaccus is up No longer slow, I roll to get rid of paralyze after your turn. 19 - Venomax - 1HP - Unharmed 14 - Gang Group B (x3) - Unharmed 11 - Visionary - 2HP - Unharmed 8 - Takezumi Ryu - Unharmed 5 - Gang Group A (x8) - 6x Unharmed 2x Paralyzed
  14. Julia had stayed silent, listening, observing all of them. Arms crossed over her chest, she stood back and let them talk. She didn't need them, she just had to find a way out of here, with or without them. And then, the being of stars stood before them, the earths, talk of alignments and worlds being out of order and needing help. Everyone was quick to agree to work together, even if only the one with the cape made any questions as for how them. "Do we even have a choice?" She adressed the being directly, arms still crossed over her chest. If looks could kill, the all powerful cosmic creature would be stardust now. "I don't know what everyone here can do, but you're some sort of cosmic power being, right? What can we do that you can't?" She motioned to the woman in the cape with her head. "I'm with Capes, here. Why did you pick us for this? And just what do you expect us to do?"
  15. Plans were made, alliances were formed. The group would begin to show a united front to Emerald City. The first super team ever, if history books were to be believed, at least. Their immediate concern would of course be MarsTech and the Ultio Suits. They had to discover how, they had to discover why, and maybe, there was even more behind it. Waverider and Meta-Naut would try to acquire a suit, so the more technologically savvy members of the little group could get a closer look. Justice and Salvo would attempt to find out how Max Mars had acquired Justice's technology. Justice had some work to do, if her headquarters were to make do as a meeting place for the group. Expansion, figure out how to get everyone there without her having to ferry everyone all the time, but at least, it was a start. But even then, one question still remained: Just what were they going to call themselves?
  16. You still don't quite meet caps (haven't made all the changes I suggested) and your Skills are still off. Here's updated blocks for everything but powers that makes you hit caps, with the suggestions I posted above. I've made a few updates to your notation on your powers as well. Note that I've lowered the total spending on skills to from 14 to 11, since so far you had only spent 14 ranks. I've then spent the rest of the 30 ranks you hadn't used. Basically for Skills, for every PP you spend you have 4 skill ranks that you can divide. At your former spending, you had only spent 3.5PP on skills (and your total numbers was a bit wrong). I've basically upped the ranks of your current skills to give them more useful bonuses and added ranks to the Notice and Sense Motive skills, which are quite useful to have. Everything in the crunch should check out if you use this. 18. Will Save: 23 Gonna hit the men with Rebellion's Aura of Terror, so a DC20 Will Save for both vs. Fear. Better they piss their pants than end up with whatever that song is.
  19. I meant I'd try to grab the pseudopod arm (bad wording on my part) and try to pull out from wherever its coming from.
  20. REBELLION Part of Rebellion wanted to look into the crates, but he didn't have a lot of time. Not without having to disable the locks to get out, and then they would know that he had been there. Well, they would know that someone had been there. He spared another glance at the two men and their phones. Interrogating them would wait. Later, or another day. Could use them to check up on anything he found out in there. Large metal doorway or office? Papers or dirt? He wanted to see things for himself. He didn't need evidence, as nice as it would be to have. Anyone connected to the conspiracy would be too smart to leave a paper trail. Doorway it was. Moving along the walls, Rebellion crept closer to the doorway, before slipping inside.
  21. Justice Ms. Doors looked up, clutching the papers tight in her hand, almost crumbling them. "You're not allowed to be here!" Ms. Doors took a step back, scrambling for her phone and pulling it up. "How did you get in here? This is a student's personal space! I got campus security on speed dial, get out of here!" Ms. Doors wasn't usually the one to look at computers, not unless she had to for work, or if she wanted to look at Facebook to look at family and friends. She needed her fresh gossip, after all. She might hover around some students or their workshops to listen in or chat, but she wasn't the type to go in there if no one was there. Besides, she didn't have keys to the personal workshops. "Calm down, calm down." That phone... "We're super heroes, see? We're just here to follow up on a case, we wanted to see if the workshop's owner was in." Robin pointed to her mask. If Ms. Doors looked close enough, she might recognize her... but she didn't seem to be recognizing her at all, did she? "So, how did you get in here? I really don't think anyone but the owner's supposed to be able to get in, right? Did the owner let you in?" Ms. Doors looked at them. One could see the suspicion in her eyes. "No. I have a master key. The administration need to check up on things. Now, get out of here or I call the cops!"
  22. Rolling for Justice: 27 Rolling Bluff for Justice: 11 She is not good at bluffing. Effects coming IC.
  23. Reduce the distance. Pull his arm back out. Parker was still in front of the men, he didn't have to move. So, what was this thing? It didn't seem to be bothered by his punches, they just flowed into it. It had been hardening around his fist, like it was trying to pull him in. It was strong enough to hurt his so far unnamed ally, and she had seemed strong enough to handle herself up top. And it didn't like the fire? "Keep trying to burn it. I'll see if I can hold it in place." Focus, then. Grab onto space, pull around the thing. Stop it.
  24. Alright, in that case, let's try to get it with Move Object. Its perception range, so its an automatic hit. I attempt to grab the arm that's closests to pull the thing out of the gunk. Rank x2 for my grappling attempt: 29 That was bad, but let's see what happens, if it has any effect at all. Remember the Insidious and Subtle 2 effects.
  25. GM Armstrong was wearing a white t-shirt under his track jacket. He looked like he was in good shape, sure, but nothing exactly out of the ordinary. "Maybe I'll let the two of you handle that yourself. At least you started working together at the end there." He crossed his arms, waiting. "So. Looking at what happened, what did you do wrong? You tried alright, you put your powers to good use, but what didn't you think to do? Both of you."
