Pan opened his hand, placing his palm against the door and pushed, with little effect. He seemed puzzled, slightly amused, maybe. "So, we are stuck in here? There are easier ways to get alone with me, you know." He pushed again. "Is the door even there? On the other side, I mean?" He pulled back, rubbing his chin slightly. He looked to Eira, a small smirk playing over his lips. "Before you ask, this is not one of my tricks." Knocking a few times, he tried to find, well, any way to open the door. "I suppose we might have to start breaking things?"

Pan is not good at searching for things, but he'll still try to Search for a way to get out without just breaking the door that might not be there: 16 Well, could be worse!

Cyborgs? Mette hadn't even noticed. She should pay more attention, shouldn't she? So, like mandatory cybernetics or something like that? You gotta become robot if you want to stay here? Something like that? She didn't really know anything about Muirne, but Mette couldn't help but worry. Something about the entire thing just soudned so worried. What was that Schattenwelt? She kind of wished she had taken German classes instead of French, but couldn't really be helped now. What is the Schattenwelt? She at least tried to make her thoughts sound worried. I'm guessing its not something that's usually cut off easy, right? Could a normal force field do that? Oh, right, the driver had asked something, right? "I'm from Copenhagen. Nice place."

Alright, starting with the fluff: I'd remove the subtitles from personality. It just makes it more difficult to read. Both Powers & Tactics and Power Descriptions should be expanded much more. What's his different tools, what's the things he does? Why do they work as weapoins instead of just be props? What do they do? What are his actual tactics? Do he bounce around and attack, do he keep his distance? What does he do to humilate his opponents? Wouldn't hurt to expand on his appearance a bit either, but that's a bit more minor to me. Moving on to the crunch: If you don't have any ATK/DC trade offs, remove that bit. There's no need to show it. PL caps: You don't meet your PL caps at all. If you need a refresher, read this guide: https://www.freedomplaybypost.com/start/playguide_35/pl-caps-trade-offs-extra-effort-and-hero-points-r28/ As it is, you ave TOU+12/DEF+0, which puts you at an average of PL6. You should bring your Defense up to at least +2. Since at least 1/3rd of that has to come from Base Defense, you must buy at least 1 rank of Base Defense and then either another rank or the Dodge Focus feat to meet caps at your current trade-off. On that note, I really wouldn't recommend that big a trade off at PL7, it'll mean you get hit with just about any attack, including the ones that target your exotic saves. Offensively, you're below caps too. As far as I can see, you got a Strike, Dazzle and Snare effect for offense, which is fine, but right now your Strike is at ATK+5/DC+7, your Dazzle is at ATK+2/DC+7 and your Snare is at ATK+2/DC+3. Not all attacks have to meet caps (though it is recommended), but all of yours are a good deal below. You need to fix meeting your PL caps before you do anything else, or you're just not gonna be effective in threads. I'm going to assume that you want to keep your Defensive trade-offs. In that case, you need to buy a +1 Base Defense [2PP] and the Dodge Focus 1 feat [1P], which gives you a total Defense at +2. I'd still recommend going higher, but your call. That's a total of 3PP you need. Offensively, we need to increase your Base Attack Bonus to +3, since 7/3 (rounded up) = 3, costing you 2PP. Then, exchange your Attack Focus [Melee] 3 feat for Attack Specialization [Gimmick Props] 2, saving you 1PP. That will put your Attack bonus with the things in your Gimmick Props array at +7. Now we're up at this costing you a total of 4PP. I'll rework your Devices a bit and put it in proper notation, and just making it one device. The way you've put it makes what it is much harder to read. Also: Use indents instead of spaces for, well, indents I've taken the Elongation out of the array. You don't get anything out of it being in there, since it won't even improve your reach for your Strike. Get it later, maybe as an AP to your Leaping? It seems that you missed that Visual Dazzle and Obscure is 2PP/ranks, compared to Dazzling/Obscuring other senses being 1PP/rank, so I've fixed that. I've also lowered the leaping by 1 rank, to make it all fit in a rank 7 device. You got 7 more PP to use in the Joy Tazer, so you could add an extra or some power feats there. --- Device 7 (Gimmick Suit; 35DP Container; Flaws: Hard-To-Lose) [28PP] (Invention, Technology) Communication 4 (Personal Radio; Sense Type: Radio) (Range: 1 mile) [4DP] Gimmick Props Array 7 (14DP array; Feats: Alternate Power 3) [17DP] BP: Strike 7 (Joy Tazer) {7/14DP} AP: Dazzle 7 (Visual Dazzle) {14/14DP} AP: Obscure 7 (Visual obscure) (Radius 500 ft.) {14/14DP} AP: Snare 7 (Silly String) {14/14DP} Leaping 3 (Spring Shoes; Feats: Alternate Power 1) (Leaping distance x10) [4DP] AP: Speed 2 (250 mph / 250 ft/rnd) {2/3DP} Protection 10 (Armor Lining) [10DP] --- That will make your powers cost a total of 28PP, 3 more than they do now, so in total, you will need to find 7PP to be able to meet caps. We'll see what we can find here as I go through the other things. Abilities: Save yourself a PP and lower the Charisma to 18. There's no need for that 1 point. That's 1PP saved. Combat: As mentioned above, you will need to make changes to Attack and Defense to hit your caps. Saving Throws Lower your Will save. You don't need it at +12 at PL7. Make it +8 or +9, then you've found a few more PP. Skills Your skills are way off, I'm afraid. I'm actually not quite sure how you wanted to put this, but as it is written right now, you got 14 ranks of feats, all with way higher total bonuses. For each skill, you should list it as Skill [Skill Rank] (+[Total skill bonus: Rank + Ability score bonus]) So, if you had Rank 2 [Craft Chemical] and Intelligence score bonus of +5, it should read as Craft [Chemical]2 (+7) Depending on what you do, this might be a place to save some PP so you can meet caps. Feats You should list the rank of the Benefit [Wealth] feat. I'm assuming its rank 1, but still. I'd suggest making the changes to the skills I mentioned under PL caps above. If you're hurting for PP, maybe get rid of the HQ for now and get it later. Powers I covered that above. --- So, in short, meet the PL caps, fix the skills and notations, and give expand a bit on the fluff.

When you make an attack, remember to add your Attack Bonus for that attack to the roll. In Orokos, you would write it as 1d20+5 for your punches, for a total of 11, which is still too low to hit anyone here. Also, remember to tell me who you're attacking and with what, when you got multiple offensive powers. Also remember, if you're fighting Minions (such as the people in Gruop A), you can always 10 on attack rolls, though that isn't enough to hit these particular minions. Give me an IC and I'll follow up.

An electric feeling shot through Pan's skin at the touch. His grin slowly returned as she spoke, the side of his lips starting to curl. He stared at her, was about to open his mouth to say something, and then fell silent as her lips pressed against his. First cold, then slowly warming, one of his head moved to the back of her head, the other to the small of her back, holding her close during the kiss. When he finally had to pull back for air, he couldn't resist grinning. "I suppose that was an ironic kiss?" His hand on Eira's neck moved down her back, as turned his head just slightly, looking in the mirror that showed their surroundings. "We have to do that again. Soon. But maybe not here." Pulling away slightly, he moved to grasp her hand tight, tugging lightly towards the party.

"Not all of us started out in Freedom, you know. From what I've learned, Emerald's a different beast entirely." Robin mused on it for a moment, while Salvo opened the door. She was about to reply, then froze as they stepped inside. They weren't alone. The workshop looked pretty much as it had the last time she had been there to check on things, or work on some of her actual projects. To be honest, it was a bit of a mess. She had done her best to remove everything sensitive, so no weapons, no half-finished armors or anything. Not even schematics. A large table had some few bits and pieces that wasn't really easy to identify. Small motors, miniature. What looked like some grey fabric, stretched out between some poles. Schematics for various plans on how to try and make some common items smaller, or to make them able to fold together and still work, was all over the walls. Near one of those walls stood a large 3D printer connected to a computer. The computer was turned off. An older woman stood by the computer, with a paper in her hands. She had brown, slightly greying hair and glasses. She was dressed conservatively in a grey office dress, her glasses pushed over her forehead. Robin recognized her, Nicole might too. Marjory Doors, the university administrator that Robin had the unfortunate tendency of working together in her tech support job for the university. She was a bitter, nosy woman. Always complaining about things, always gossiping. Of course, she had led Robin to a number of cases... but still, she shouldn't be here.

REBELLION Curious. Notebook in hand, Rebellion scribbled his almost unreadable notes in the book, before closing it and moving it into his coat. This whole business was strange. What use did someone have of cadavers? Rebellion's view of the city and its secrets had grown. Aliens, super humans. It wouldn't really surprise him if someone were using the bodies to try to create their own Frankenstein's monster. At the very least, it required investigating. Let the other heroes act in the light. He would handle the darkness. His entire body seemed to fade as he started walking down the building. Slowly, carefully, he approached, walking down the side of the building, moving into a crouch and then, stopping at the top of the gate, above the driver with the phone. Maybe there was something worthwhile? If not, he would continue crawling into the building, crawling in at the top of the gate.

GM Strategy, or luck? Whichever it was, it seemed that Levity's strategy worked, as the dragon dove towards the ground as the thrown barricade drew its attention. It roared loudly, drawing in breath as it dropped. It moved far faster than something of its size, propelled only by its wings, should be able to do. Something else was keeping it aloft than just physics. "Stop that! I am here to help! Why are you making this so difficult!?" The dragon sounded genuinely hurt as it shouted at Chromium. Then it let loose, blue flames streaming from its mouth as it flew above him.

"I am sorry." Pan looked down at her, his voice trembling ever so slightly as he spoke. He wore his emotions clearly now, no sheen of glamour or smile plastered across his lips, as he stared at her, his arms hanging limp by his sides. "It was my not my intention at all. I..." He paused, he was searching for the words. "I didn't think it would make you feel like that, I only meant it as a prank. Obviously, it was a very bad one. I am so sorry for that." His eyes lowered to her hand, and the necklace in it. He reached for her hand, gently taking it in his, taking the necklace and, stepping closer, he moved his hands up to close the necklace around Eira's neck again. "I do care about about you, Eira." He remained close, his hands moving down to her shoulders, holding her gently, but firmly. Of course she could escape if she wanted to. He wouldn't hold her in place. He frowned, shaking his head. "Why would you ever think that I could think about you like that? I know that I can be strange to anyone from this world, but do you honestly think I would think that about you?" He paused again, looking at Eira with those big, green eyes. "I care about you a lot, Eira. I like you, a lot. I'm sorry that I hurt you, it was never what I intended."

Danish Super Humans The number of known Danish super humans are low, even given the country's size. The small size has led to a a relatively close knit community, but with little in the way of way of the traditions of the North American super humanity. While the country has produced relatively few super villains, the Danish super heroes are still kept busy, dealing with attacks from foreign super villains that try to stake their claim in Denmark or threats from their country's mythology. History Denmark's heroic history stretches into the past, to the time of the vikings and beyond. Before the time of the Pact, the Aesir would walk their lands, or stride across their sky. Magic ran its course, creating heroes and monsters both, with Elves, Trolls, Giants and more living through the lands. Their tales would be told by the skjalds, but most were lost as Christianity took hold. Of particular note of this era was Holger Danske, also known as Ogier the Dane. A powerful warrior, a hero once in the service of Charlemagne, he would eventually retire to the catacombs of Castle Kronborg, where he turned to stone. Time and time again, when Denmark has been in need, Holger Danske has returned to fight for his country. In the 19th century, the author as H. C. Andersen discovered the power of the fairy tale. He created manuscripts that held the power of his stories. He intended to use the stories to create heroes and wonders, but when he saw the horror of a man using the power of the Snow Queen to freeze Øresund, he decideed it would be better to hide the books and the power they contained. While some were hidden in Denmark, where they would be used by future champions, H. C. Andersen travelled across the world, scattering his works across the globe. Prior to 1940, Denmark had few super humans, but still more than this day. All that changed when Nazi Germany invaded Denmark in 1940. Though the country's super human defenders fought valiantly, they, along with their country, were defeated by the superior Nazi Übersoldaten within hours, and the country capitulated. The known Danish super humans subsequently surrendered to the occupying force to prevent them from bombing Copenhagen. The few remaining Danish super humans went into hiding, fighting secretly against the Nazi occupiers as part of the Danish resistance groups. Holger Danske would return to fight the Nazi occupation time and again during the war. Most, if not all, of the Danish super humans were killed during the occupation. In the years since, leading up to the modern era, few super humans revealed themselves. More often than not, they would be villains, but often than not, it would be handled by local authorities, or with the aid of UNISON. It was not the year 2000 that super humans began to appear in earnest in Denmark, though still in far lower numbers than other Western nations, beginning with the debut of the Little Mermaid on Christmas Eve the same year. Following the heroine's appearance, both heroes and villains would begin to to appear in the country. Notably, Denmark saw a greater appearance of mythological beings than many other creatures, with beings such as giants and trolls making their presence known once again. With the number of Danish heroes still low, their efforts stretched thin across the country, the Danish government decided to charge Anders Lund, the country's leading genetist to focus his research on what he has dubbed the "super-gene", to create their own super heroes. While so far, Lund has been succesful, several nefarious organizations, including S.H.A.D.O.W., has taken an interest in the research. Denmark is under attack by opportunistic foreign super villains, an ever rising number of mythological beings making their presence known, shadowy organizations having designs on the country's fledgling experiments to create super humans and is relatively close to Talos' Rurland. With all the perils that seem to plague Denmark, is it any wonder that Holger Danske's throne at Castle Kronborg now stands empty? Notable Persons and Organizations Beowulf: A mythological Danish hero, who fought and killed the Grendel, the Grendel's Mother and more at some point between the 8th and 11th century. Danish Dynamite: A well meaning, but ultimately ineffective Danish hero, active since 2013. The former soccer player uses his heightened agiliy and strength to fight primarily smaller scale crime, having had little success against super human enemies. Elverkongen: The Elf King. The king of the mythological and fairy tale Elves that live just beyond the sight of the world of man. From his throne he reigns supreme, sending Elf Maidens out to steal whatever catches his fancy. A powerful player in the world of myths, he follows a strict code of honor. Last reported active in December 2018, where the New Orleans native hero Lament saved a group of children from his grasp. Grendel & Grendel's Mother: The enemies of Beowulf, a powerful giant humanoid monster and his mother. Despite their defeats and supposed deaths at the hands of Beowulf and others, they have reappeared several times throughout history, most recently being involved in Lament's conflict with Elverkongen in December 2018. H. C. Andersen: 1805-1875. Danish author, known primarily for his fairy tales. He created a number of books, sources of power based on his fairy tales, that he has hidden around the world, with a few located in Denmark. These true editions now empower a number of Danish and international heroes and villains. Holger Danske: Also known as Ogier the Dane. Holger, son of King Gudfred, served as one of the Twelve Knights to the French King Charlemagne, wielding the sword Curtana. He led the French to victory against the Saracen, where he defeated the giant Brehus in single combat. As a wandering knight, he travelled across Europe before he returned to Denmark. At Castle Kronborg, he sat on his throne, where his body would turn to stone, appearing as if he was a statue that bore the inscription: "When Denmark is in peril, then Holger Danske will awaken". Throughout history, Holger has risen from his slumber when he was needed, only to return to his throne once his work was complete. He was last confirmed active during World War Two, aiding the Danish resistance groups against the Nazi occupation, before returning to the throne. Now, as Denmark is besieged by enemies from without and within, is it any wonder that Holger's throne stands empty once more? Jens Vejmand: The protector the free town of Christiania, keeping it safe from outside interference. Vague and mysterious, he has acted as a guru and leader of the free town since he first appeared in 2008. His powers are as mysterious as his identity and origin, he has so far demonstrated levitation, force blasts of unknown energy, the ability to instill illusionary images, sounds, scents and feelings. He will often travel across Denmark, always walking by the road, appearing at his destination far faster than he should be able to. Jormungandr: The Midgard Serpent. The God Killer. From before the Pact was sealed, it encircled the world. Its reach is far, in the minds and hearts of men. It seeks only Ragnarok. King Crab: A rogue Atlantean pirate with gargantuan mechanized crab armor. Since at least 2015, King Crab that has started attacking Danish transport ships and harbors, among other maritime targets in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. He seems to have a particular fixation on the Little Mermaid II, often comparing her to her mentor. Little Mermaid I: Formerly Denmark's premiere super hero, active from Christmas Eve 2000 until Christmas Eve 2017, where she was succeeded by Little Mermaid II. She could breathe under water and manipulate water, sing siren songs and, upon entering water, she would grow a mermaid's tail, allowing her to swim at incredible speeds. She was a known as a kind and loving heroine. Little Mermaid II: The successor of Little Mermaid I, she tries her hardest to live up to her predecessors legacy. Possessing the same powers, she seems to be physically stronger than the first Little Mermaid, but still has a lot to learn. Active since Christmas Eve 2017, she patrols the Danish seas and coasts. A beloved heroine. Lund Biovidenskab (Lund Life Sciences): Denmark's premiere genetic research division, funded and rund by Anders Lund, one of the most advanced biological laboratory facilities in Europe. Focusing on studying the genetic make up of super humans, the scientists and researchers of the group race against time to create Denmark's first artificially created super humans in an attempt to stave off the super human threats to the country. While so far unsuccesful, the group is making progress, and to most, it is only a matter of time before they succeed. Several shadowy organizations have shown interest Lund Biovidenskab, including S.H.A.D.O.W. and Labyrinth. Metalhead: A super villain, active since June 2009, where his powers first manifested during his attendance as the yearly Roskilde music festival. His entire body appears to be composed of an unknown metal alloys, including softer areas, such as eyeballs, eardrums, tongue and more. He is able to absorb machinery and weapons into his body through touch, becoming stronger and able to accomplish new feats in the process. After causing trouble in Denmark for years and being defeated by the Little Mermaid I and the Snow Queen in several incidents, he left Denmark for greener pastures in 2015, after being defeated in his first encounter with Jens Vejmand. He has since worked as a villain for hire across the globe. Snow Queen: Denmark's most powerful hero, the Snow Queen is able to create ice and cold, manipulate temperatures and freeze the hearts of men. A police officer, Julie Mikkelsen gained the powers of the Snow Queen after finding one of H. C. Andersen's true fairy tales. She is at the moment Denmark's only super hero without a secret identity, still working as a police officer, enjoying all the resources and fame that comes with her job and powers. A Danish celebrity, she travels across the country to aid where she is needed. Active since the January 2010.

Pan stopped completely as Elizabeth spun him around and talked about the exit stage left, whatever that meant, and then his eyes focused on Eira as she left for the bathrooms. Elizabeth could almost feel the shudder than ran through his body. "Yes, it appears I have made a mistake." His tone was meek, his voice low. "Thank you, Elizabeth. I wll do my best to follow your advice." He moved forward, a quick flash of emerald and golden glitter. He entered the bathroom. There were a few others in there, but he didn't seem to pay them any mind, as he listened for those telltale sounds. "Eira? I saw you go in here. I'm sorry, I thought you wanted me to go dance with Elizabeth." He paused, listening again. He hesitated, waiting for a response.
-
"Please, like I am even trying to be subtle." Pan responded as he moved around Elizabeth. His tone was a bit more serious, just a tiny bit. "Eira is fun, she is different, but she has trouble admitting things to herself, no? I could of course take some drastic measures, maybe I will, but it is fun to watch her squirm a bit, don't you think so?" His voice was low, he moved in close. "But maybe I should stop, and let her know that I know how little irony there is to this date? You would probably find that amusing, at least." He winked at Elizabeth as the last bit, then looked towards Eira and... Dio appearing out of nowhere, in a panic, all because of a little spider. Pan stopped and stared, suppressing a laugh at the sight, before throwing himself back into the dance. Near Eira, the voice spoke again. "What are you afraid of? Make your move! Tell him how you feel! Go up there and show them all!"

"Oh, but of course, my name's Gregoria Gregovich III, I live on the Moon and my favorite movie is Snow White." Alright, Robin knew that she had a tendency to talk too much. Like, a lot. She said a lot of things she probably shouldn't, like Salvo had just pointed out, but she wasn't that bad about it. "Yeah, don't worry. Everything's on a loop." The device worked. She had tested it more than enough to know. Robin didn't really like to be sneaky like that, but it paid to be able to do it. Especially with everything else going on. "I've already panicked. Didn't get me anywhere, y'know." She turned down another hall. Nobody else was inside this place. "As far as I know, only Max Mars knows. He might try to use that, but so far, he doesn't know that I know he knows, and he doesn't seem the type that's going to use my family against me or anything like that. I might be wrong, but aside from figure out what I can do to stop him, what else can I do? As long as he doesn't share what he knwos with everyone, which doesn't really seem likely, then revealing myself is just gonna mean everyone coming for me." She pointed to her mask. "Besides, its not like I spend a lot of time in just this mask when I'm doing hero work." Turning around a corner, Robin pointed out a door ahead. "There, the third door on the right, that's the old workshop. Not nearly as cool as the new one."

ic If you meet yourself on the road... [Open]
RocketLord replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Else Ifs and What Worlds
What was this? Obviously, the flier and the young man didn't know anything about this place, or at least they were good at hiding it. Had someone drugged her and hooked her into some kind of AR scenario? She looked over the other two, hesitating just a bit perhaps. Could she trust them? Probably not. "Did we get drugged?" She asked, while looking around, and keeping a good distance from the others. No, don't get too close. Don't divulge more information than necessary. Any of them could be working for MarsTech or one of the other corporations. And then an armored figure from the sky, speaking strangely. Julia took a step back from the figure. If anything, this one was the one to watch. "Maybe. At least it'll be for you if you don't keep your distance." Both the armored figure and the woman with the cape looked like something out of the history books, like super heroes had used to look like. And the other looked like what... a few hundred years out of date? Was that what this was? Some kind of weird cosplay AR room? -
The thing moved around hardened space, not an easy task. It moved with purpose, not just flailing wildly. It could sense them, somehow. The tentacle moved to try and catch him, but he managed to push it aside. "Stay behind us and keep your heads down. We'll deal with whatever this is." Parker sounded more confident than he probably should. Back in the day, this would have been easy, but this wasn't back in the day, was it? He was rusty, not nearly as powerful as he used to be. He needed to stay on guard, but he also needed to listen. The man had rambled something about Dino drinking something and then... Wait. Inside the tentacle, there was something, a face, screaming at them as the tentacle moved. Parker watched with growing horror as the tentacle moved... and then, he struck. He remained in front of the men, then moved his arm, reducing the distance between his fist and the creature's arm, where he had seen the face. Strike at it. Strike through it. Try and grab the person inside and get them out of there.
-
Well, at the current setup, that might be enough! Opposed grapple, with only Base Attack Bonus applying: 28... and yet! Notice: 23 Switching Space Control Array to Elongation + Enhanced Strength. Seeing the guy inside, Spaceman will try to punch through the tentacle and pull him out, so that would be a lethal attack against the pseudopod that tried to grapple him: 28 DC25 TOU if that hits.
