  1. You're at the Riverfront, not right next to the harbor, but relatively close. There's a water fountain in front of the court house and there's fire hydrants nearby that can be used. Alright, Justice activates her armor, using her boost jets to get there quickly. Setting M.O.D. System to 5 ranks of each, for a balanced +10 in TOU and DEF.   2. Pan just waved at Mia with a smile, not nearly as shocked or annoyed as Eira seemed to be. He looked to Indira, the ferocious hunter. "Not of the kind that hunts the deadliest game, I hope?" he asked innocently while he followed to the others and tant Kimber. "Hel-lo, having fun everyone?" he greeted the others, before turning to Kimber in time for Eira's introduction. Pan froze as his eyes fell on Kimber, the ghost. He seemed like he could hardly believe what he was seeing, even as Eira explained their story. Finally, after a moment, he blurted out: "That is brilliant! You are a real ghost!" Then turned to Eira. "Why did you not tell me that you know a ghost?"

  5. GM His fingers digging into the soil to fight against the pull, Übermensch almost growled as Pan and Specimen talked. "Never! Once I am free, I will rip you to shreds, Americans!" He struggled. It was a fight, but slowly, ever so slowly, he resisted the pull of the Zero Zone, crawling towards the heroes... and then Specimen struck. He looked up just in time to see the first blow land hard. Specimen was strong. Stronger than he had expected. The blow rocked him, sending him a few feet to the side, but it probably wouldn't last long. Even then, as the villagers continued to flee into the cave, it might have been just the final push they needed.

  7. Forever Boy Everything around them happening fast, flashes, Legatus going down in a hit as the Nazi super man appeared from the sky. Was he still breathing? Pan looked down at him, kneeling by Felix's side for a second, before looking up as Ashley actually ran towards the villain, while Judy did as she was told and ran away. Now, Pan wanted to stand his ground, Pan wanted to fight, obviously, but running towards the man? He hadn't expected Ashley to do just that! He let out a laugh at the sight, a sound of hope in the middle of the chaos, as the crowds fled towards the cave. "Everyone!" Pixie Dust exploded from him, powerful shapes, an explosion of gold and glitter, and shine. "We cannot let him through! All these people count on us! He is evil, he is darkness, but so what? When we shine, darkness fades! And we are going to shine brighter than ever before!"

  9. GM "Was?" Übermensch looked at this woman that dared to challenge him. There was nothing but disdain in his eyes. He certainly didn't consider her a threat. "Who is Superior?" The momentary distraction did its work, however, as Ashley threw the grenade. The sound was was weird. A choked roar. A roaring vortex. "Nein!" Caught off guard, he felt the pull. The vortex pulled at him, still held open, he felt back, away from Watchdog.
  10. GM "Good. We'll drop the off your old man, then we'll leave this hell hole behind." Irons took turned away from Screwtop and Chromium. "Say your farewells. It'll be a long time before you see Bedlam again, son." He moved towards the door. The soldier still remained in the room as the commander opened the door and stepped outside. Just as he was about to close it, he seemed to remember something else. "You made the right choice, son. Welcome to Mattus."
  11. GM Irons grinned. "You made a mistake, you own up to it, kid. That means you can still learn." Irons motioned for the soldier by him. "But Bedlam isn't the right kind of place to learn something like this. Too close to home for you, you're never gonna learn just what you can do if stick close to home all the time." He looked at Screwtop. Irons obviously disapproved of the man. "You need to go somewhere that you'll make an impact. Somewhere easy. Might be a few troublemakers to fight, might be some tech you can learn to use." Screwtop burped loudly. Irons moved in between him and Chromium. "How do you feel about moving to Emerald City while you learn the ropes?"
  12. The stars were amazing, the view far better than any Pan had seen from Freedom City. He eagerly followed Veronica's hand as she pointed out the constellations, asking all the questiosn about the names that he could, offering his own ideas for what the constellations might look like... and wondering loudly just where the second star to the right was supposed to be. --- Enhanced hearing had its advantages, and disadvantages. Like waking up way too early from noise and the like. Like a thumping from somewhere in the ship, even if he couldn't quite place it. Sitting up, he looked around, before speaking up in an attempt to rouse Davyd and Adam. "Do you hear that? Thump, thump, thump?"
  13. GM From the street opposite the court house, the sound of guns being fired echoed through the streets. The vans used to transport the group that called themselves the Upstarts might be bulletproof, but even then, they could only last so long. Anyone close enough would be able to hear orders being barked in Russian, anyone that understood the language hearing them yelling something about bringing the heavy weapons. The men were dressed in fancy suits, all seemed to be wielding rifles. These were not just random criminals, they were organized, they were ready. It didn't take much to realize that the Malakov Mafiya was out for blood.
  14. Mafiya initiative: 9 Set up: The three vans with the Upstarts and the 3 police cruisers have all been abandoned in the middle of the street, in front of the court house. It seems that the Malakov Mafiya is shooting at at them from the street, alleys and buildings on the street opposite the court house. Its difficult to get an exact number of people, but they're noticing that there's people actually running towards trouble.   15. Justice Robin had been kind of annoyed that she had missed a full on super villain brawl in the middle of the city. Alright, she really shouldn't have been, she knew that. There'd been plenty of people there to stop it, it was all good! Everyone was safe, the bad guys were caught, MarsTech had swooped in and kept them trapped and, well, her own view of MarsTech had changed a bit since then. Not that it mattered much. She'd been following the events of the trial. Really, how couldn't she? Actual big time super villains in Emerald City, not something that happened a whole lot. One of the benefits of her studies meant she could master her own time, and well... she could attend the trial. A pair of jeans, a nice denim jacket. Glasses on, her hair in a ponytail, looking almost professional, following everything out. She didn't get too good a look at the bad guys, but at least they were keeping them secured? Leaving the scene, she noticed people shouting, and the officers calmly walkng away. "Wait, what?" The transports were all stopped and... gunfire. "Ah, crap." Be careful what you wish for, right? Diving into an alley was people started running, Robin pulled her domino mask out from the pocket in her jacket and quickly put it on, then reached for her belt, quickly putting her amulet into it. Seemed like it was time for justice!
  16. GM Alice seemed utterly confused about what was happening, as if she didn't understand it at all. "What... why? I'm right here Micah, you don't have to wait for me at all!" She seemed genuinely hurt, seemed almost like she was shrinking away from them, letting go of Micah. She stared at Judy, her confusion only growing. "Micah... Micah, what is she doing? What's she saying?"
  17. "Well, you set the bar high," Pan mused in response to Eira, slowly lowering his arms while he let the fireworks fade away. He took a moment to take a look at the adult heroes. Most had probably seen his antics, if not, it mattered little. He eyes lingered on the large man for a moment, before continuing to the ghost that was talking with other students and on... "There is so many people here. Do you know them all? You mentioned something about aunts, yes?" He wasn't exactly dressed for meeting anyone special, but why would he let that stop him?

  21. Curious. There was something fascinating about Eira's hair not conforming to everything, the way it stayed stiff, but of course, that seemed to be part of her charm, did it not? Pan followed suit with Eira's movements, grabbing her hands, their faces close. He was about to pull back, to fly them up and out of the water... and then Mia appeared from out of nowhere, water pushing away from her as he could hear her screams under the water. He meant to say "What?", but it came out more as a "Blub?" under the water. And then all of a sudden they were alone under the water again and Eira was holding on to him and they were close... aaaaand she was counting down. He was not quite sure what was happening before his skin hit the cool air, water and golden dust exploding around. Well, if Eira had made her big entrance with the soundtrack and everything, then it was only fitting that Pan did thesame, no? Rolling with the throw, Pan stretched his arms out to the sides as he fell, the Pixie Dust in the air around him shifting, taking on shapes and shooting out across the room, whirling, spinning over the room, much like brilliant fireworks. For his own part, Pan flipped through mid-air, falling slower than gravity should let really let him, landing next to Eira on both feet, his arms stretched to the sky. "Probably not as eye-catching as your entrance, but I think I deserve some credit for thinking in the moment here, no?"
  22. No need to roll for the feint, the attack hits without it. He's tripped too, can't reach that with his Dex, and then Knockback is 18, vs. his 15 resistance, so he's knocked back a little bit... but, tripped! Give me an IC!
  23. Eira positively glowed as she entered. It seemed she did not go unnoticed by Pan as she approached, but well, how could she, given her entrance, complete with soundtrack and lightshow. Yes, yes, she obviously knew how to make an entrance. "Likewise. You look good in blue." His ever present grin didn't reveal much, he opened his mouth to say something more, then promptly shut it when Eira plunged deep into the pool in a single step. He looked over at the others around him, shrugged, then dove into the pool face first, with far more grace than Eira's splash. Under the water, the glowing Pixie Dust that pushed him forward was perhaps even more obvious than in the light as he moved nearer, stopping in front of Eira, where his lips split into another grin.
