Justice Robin had no idea what Meta-Naut and the little imp were talking about, so she just did her best to look pretty and scary with her armor and big hammer. She could read enough of Meta-Naut's tone that she sounded annoyed. It really didn't seem like the little imp was giving her what she wanted, if it was even giving her anything at all. She kept a close watch. Sure, Meta-Naut could watch herself, she was a hero, she was great, but she had a bad feeling. And then the moving, and twisting and then leaping. Justice moved forward, swinging her hammer. The rocket at the end activated, the blow landing and sending the creature flying into the ground, knocking the creature out again. "Right, what was that about now?"
-
GM <"I..."> The strange creature looked around, at the others that did seem like they were still alive, and back to Meta-Naut. It looked over at Justice's giant hammer, which kind of ran against the Meta-Naut's changed approach, before focusing on the Meta-Naut again. <"You're strangers! Everyone for themselves! Nobody here isn't out for just themselves!"> The creature shifted nervously, slowly trying to push away. Its companions were still out cold. <"The master said to protect the ruins while he was in there! Can't let you get in!"> It seemed like something was going on with the creature. It started moving, twisting like it was fighting against itself. <"The Master said to keep him safe! We... live to... serve the master!"> Pushing itself off the ground, it launched itself towards the Meta-Naut, hands held out like claws in front of it.

CHEVAL Persephone, no Camellia, was a whirlwind as always. Words and introductions coming so fast, a hug that was both tight and loose at once, happiness at his flowers and Marcus was just lost actually looking at her as, well, her. Not as Persephone, not as the hero that he had now fought and worked with, but as "just" Camellia. Not that there was anything "just" about her in any way. Some of the exotic flavor of her green skin and purple hair was gone, but she was no less beautiful from the change. He returned the embrace, hugging her back perhaps a little bit too tight, before handing her the flowers with a smile. "Bonjou, Camellia. Anchante." There was a wink in his eye at the greeting. Of course they had met before, but well, not quite like this. Letting her take the flowers, he put his jacket up on the rack and followed her into her home. To be honest, much of it was like what he had expected, especially the flowers everywhere. Part of him wondered how deep her relationships to flowers were, but ultimately, it mattered little. "It is a lovely home." he added in between her explanations, as she led him to the living room. He couldn't suppress a slight grin when the flowers leaned closer to her. "Please tell me that you call that the Disney Princess trick," he said as he sat down, a slight laugh in his voice, before she started explaining the food and how it wasn't ethically sourced, it was all gifts and so on. And why she added a little something to her own drink. "Everything I see looks great." His eyes were not on the food as she spoke, raising his glass to clink against Camellia's, before sitting down, folding his hands on the table in front of himself. "I know exactly what you mean about normalcy. Just look at me." He didn't exactly sound sad or anything like that, more resigned. "I can be bullet proof, and sure, I can help people, but turning into iron is not exactly as easy as everyone thinks." He chuckled lightly. "You wouldn't imagine how many floors I stepped through or things I smashed when I first got these powers." It was in the past, sure, but it was still part of him.

Pan looked down at the cold hand, then up to Eira, as she began to play the brief snippet of a song he had heard more than few times, now. The same smile remained on his lips, while he sat back down, leaning his face on the back of his hands as he looked at her, after her little statement about privacy to Adam. "I am that, and so much more. A neat little trick, to be sure." A glimmer of Pixie Dust, and another song played softly around Eira, before ceasing a moment later. "Of course, we would not want to break any rules, would we, Adam?" His tone was playful, seemed like he took no offense to Eira's little song, but was not above a response, either. "So tell me then, what part is not worth it? Reading through curriculum, or the experiences?"

GM Die Walküre looked away, and then she flew. Sailing up high above the buildings of the small village, out of sight of the heroes and the Nazis they were fighting, she disappeared into the distance, far away. She went silent immediately, the sheer force of the blow being more than enough to take her out almost as soon as she had realized what happened. Sea-Wolf might have heard the sound of the blow, but he was otherwise occupied, with the strange shadow grasping and grabbing at him, holding him in place, holding him to the ground even as he struggled to get free. His arms by his side, he struggled and grunted, pushing against his bonds. The shadow started to move, but it wasn't enough. He would not break free that easily... and both of the super powered teens he had tried to evade would be able to reach him. Roter Adler titled off course, but regained his senses after Legatus' blow. He was shaken, but not out of the fight quite yet. Still, he was wounded, as he tried to climb higher into the sky, away from his pursuer.

GM If Ms. Bright had expected Crimson Cross to argue against her, she was happily surprised. "She has seen the light!" the winged wonder exclaimed, before crossing her arms. "But keep her bound, if the demons come over here again. It takes away her power!" The old preacher leaned closer, staring at the bonds, then slowly turning his wrinkled face up to stare at Agnes again. "There is something about you, child. Something about this power of yours. It smells familiar, somehow." He paused again, stroking his chin as he pulled back. "Tell me, what is your name? What can you do? What wicked demon gave you these powers?"
-
Forever Boy Pan frowned, and pointed at his feet, a good foot or so above the ground. "Why walk, when you can fly?" he asked, a slightly puzzled tone to his voice. He made a quick movement with his hand, a small paper slipping out from his sleeve, which he dropped into Mia's hand. When she unfolded it, it showed an address a few blocks South of the Bayview Mall. "I guess bad things tend to happen on Halloween," he mused, while Mia read the note. He looked somber at the thought. "The year before a group of students tried to summon a demon. Some were hurt, lots of trouble, but we tricked the thing into leaving. This should be less traumatic, in any event. Nothing scary, as far as I have heard."

CHEVAL Marcus stood by the waterfront, just looking out over the water. It wasn't long ago that he had stood on the beach, showing off and playing with the kids. Francis didn't like that he kept taking those charity jobs, kept showing up to kids' birthday parties, but he couldn't help it. He didn't really need to earn money. They had invested a enough to keep him afloat for a long while, after all, and if he didn't do all this for the kids, then why? The kid had enjoyed his presence, crawling all over him, and he had fun, but it was nice with a moment to himself, even if passerbys kept glancing at him. Even outside his costume, wearing a pair of worn jeans and a black t-shirt, he was recognized. Not that he minded. Then, the flash. He instinctively turned away and covered his eyes, before looking out over the bay. Had it been some kind of explosion? No matter, the ship was burning, and the people would need help.

So this was Eira, the new girl that was now staying with Lulu? Of course they had to go and introduce themselves, even if Adam was hesitating a bit at first, but that was Adam, after all. Now Pan, he didn't have those reservations, no, instead he had pushed Adam ahead, let him introduce himself first. Still, a rather flat reaction. They could do better than that, could they not? "Hel-lo!" All smiles, a big grin, he made a quick bow before planting himself at the table in front of Eira, reaching over it with an open hand. "I am Pan, the Forever Boy! Nice to meet you, Eira! Tell me, where did that music come from just before? I guess it was you, but I see none of those music players around." Of course he had heard it, sensitive ears and all that.

Forever Boy The wolf-man in the strange clothes rushed past them, while an explosion rocked the church. Adam's hit against the woman resounded. That explosion couldn't be good, or the lightning strike or... Their friends needed them. Well, maybe not needed, but their presence would probably be a good thing. Pan looked around. Running wolf-man, sword wielding woman in armor. If they turned tail, they would just follow them, and that wouldn't help their friends, would it now? He sent his shadow hunting. As it hurried across the ground towards the wolf-man, he instead turned to the woman and called out. She couldn't see them. She had only felt Adam's blow, swinging wildly to try and get him. "Come now! I am far away already! Over here!" His shadow caught up to its target, quickly grasping on to the wolf-man, entangling him, wrapping around him and binding him in place. Good, good. Advantage to the good guys, so far.

GM Legatus' blow crashed directly into die Roter Adler, sending him flying away, with the teen of adamant hot in pursuit. Within the church, Watchdog only just managed to throw herself in the path of the blast, protecting Daystar from the grenade by pushing her out of the way. The priest was not so lucky, however. Caught in the blast, he was flung back against a wall, unmoving. --- In the sky high above, Legatus battled Roter Adler. In the church, Watchdog and Daystar fought against the hidden Eule and Madame Blitz, while Donar still remained outside. To the West of the school, Sea-Wolf fought his way through Forever Boy's mists, while Specimen fought against die Walküre.

GM The man froze. His grip on the chair leg in his hand tightened, while he looked around, trying to catch any of the voices that spoke to him, be it Lulu's or Pan's. Oh, he was all alone there, no question. There was no one to see, no one to hit with his mighty weapon, all he could do was to feebly swing his weapon around, hitting nothing but air. Finally, having had enough, he yelled incoherently before pointing at the old man. "I'll be back!" Then he turned, swinging the chair leg around one final time, as he adressed the Council. "I'll be back, and I'll be ready for you! All of you! I want that book!" With that, he rushed out, slamming out through the door, unless someone stepped in the way, of course.

GM "Wha?" Heavyweight only barely looked up, still dazed, still just struggling to stay upright, then a resounding *SMACK* echoed out in the arena around them. Everyone that had come to watch was silent as the second Contender fell, then started cheering, almost like it was all just a show. With a loud buzzing noise, Fly-Boy flew down at full speed, passing by as Archer stepped out of the way, leaving him vulnerable to Facsimile's attack.

Archer II Facsimile's blow almost made Connor lose his target. Only almost. Two down, two to go. One buzzing fly, one guy that had decided to just up and disappear. Maybe TKO had just run off. That might be either good or bad, but he didn't really have time to think about it. With Fly-Boy diving for him, Connor shot several arrows at him, a few hitting and digging into his body, but the flying freak just kept coming. "Could use an interception here." His voice was steady as he reached for another arrow while getting ready to get out of the way before Fly-Boy reached him.
