Justice "I'll catch up in a sec!" Robin had gotten the container open, she might as well look inside. She pulled it open, peeked in, and... it was empty. Well, so much for that. With a quick burst from her rockets, she bounced over the containers in an arc much like Emerald Spider's, landing heavily in front of the container. Catching herself before falling over from the impact, she stood up straight and moved to the opening. Another lock, sure. She could deal with that. Raising her gun, she took aim. Pausing a moment, she looked up at the Emerald Spider. "Ready?" Whatever was banging inside the thing, there was someone in there, at least. She couldn't just let them stay there. "Step away from the door, please. I'm gonna shoot the lock off, and I don't want to hurt you by accident!" Robin took the shot, sending a blast at the lock.

GM The winged wonder stared for a moment, at the golden lasso of light in her hand, and how it was wrapped tightly around Ms. Bright. It seemed obvious that she hadn't really thought that far yet. "I... Give me a moment." She thought for a moment, before making her choice. "Fly with me, then. I''ll take you to the Priest. He will know what to do about you!" Of course, she didn't even stop to think that Ms. Bright shouldn't be flying, if she had lost her powers... --- It wasn't long before they arrived at a rundown church, not far from where they had fought. A man was standing outside, one that Ms. Bright would surely recognize. The large man that she had talked with earlier. "What do you think you are doing, Cross?" The flying woman shook her head, her grin visible behind her ruined mask. "No, no, it's fine, Jonathan. Look!" She held up the glowing lasso of light in her hand. "She is bound, and she loses her powers when bound! I'm sure the Preacher can save her now! She might be scum now, but imagine if she is saved!"

GM Early December 2019 Claremont Academy Early Afternoon It was still during the school day. Students at the Claremont Academy should really be in class. After all, they were all good little students that did as they were told, even in early December, before their break during Christmas. With most students in classes, the grounds were mostly quiet. A few students running late for their classes, some working on art projects. Yes, it was all very quiet, all very mundane and as normal as a day could be at Claremont Academy. But we can't have that, can we now? One Mia Mustafic-Markov had found a note suddenly in her pocket after she had passed a group of students just before. The message was simple, even as it was written with beautiful, flowing letters: Do you want to have some fun? Meet me outside in 10 minutes. She could probably come up with an excuse to get away from the class. A bathroom break, having forgotten a book, a visit to the nurse of an emergency. After all, it had been a dreadfully boring day so far.

GM The one that the Meta-Naut had just attempted to hit made a sound that sounded very much like laughing, then pointed up at her. To Justice, it sounded like gibberish, but the Meta-Naut's translator picked it up. "Look, the flying one in the shell cannot hit anything! Let us show her how we do it, brothers!" Bravado, they didn't lack. Together with one of the others, the yelling attacker aimed his bow, taking aim at Meta-Naut and letting their arrows fly once more. Justice wasn't faring much better. While she lifted her hammer again, the one she had attempted to hit backed away and fired an arrow, and while that might have missed, another attacker shot an arrow into her back from behind.
-
Justice The attackers were weird looking, sure, and they looked mean, but also kind of adorable? Little bows and arrows, armored shorts, it seemed pretty obvious they weren't from back home, at least. And they were attacking, so she really didn't have to feel bad about attacking back, but on the other hand... they were kind of adorable. "Hey, let me show you something!" Robin shouted, as much to the bad guys as to Meta-Naut. A few button presses on the belt, some of the outer armoring disappeared into portals, shedding enough wait that she could use her rocket boosters. With a quick burst, she jumped up, landing in front of the nearest of the attackers. Mid-jump, she reached into a portal and pulled out her Rocket Hammer, quickly slamming it into the floor where the attacker had been standing just the moment before. Of course it had to move. "Dammit." She'd get him yet. Speedy little guy.
-
That's a miss, yeah! Justice switches MOVE System to Jump Jets and jumps up above, getting into melee with the one of the attackers, bringing out the Rocket Hammer! Attack: 9 Oof, missing too! The attacker near Justice backs away and fires and arrow at her, while one of the other attacks her as well: 21 14 One hit, one miss. The other two attackers go for Meta-Naut: 20 18 That's a couple of hits. DC18 TOU saves for the hits! Justice's TOU: 32 Nailed it. 13 - Meta-Naut - 1HP - Unharmed 13 - Justice - 1HP - Unharmed 7 - Attackers x4 - Unharmed

GM "No!" Commander Irons was smart, it seemed. He reacted immediately, steeling himself as Chromium's fist slammed into the floor, a shockwave rippling through the floor of the ship and into the soldiers on the way. All but one of the four soldiers that had approached him fell to the sides. Both Screwtop at the two soldiers that had moved towards him dropped. Commander Irons was made of sterner stuff, it seemed. He looked absolutely livid. "You little punk." His voice was surprisingly calm. "Men, deal with the old man. The kid is mine."

Opposed strength check for Irons: 29 Opposed Strength for the two soldiers near Screwtop: 9 12 Opposed Strength for four soldiers approaching Chromium: 11 13 14 21 Opposed Strength from Screwtop: 15 Irons and one soldier is still standing. Give me an Initiative roll.

That's a hit. TOU from the tank: 19 The tank in quesiton is Staggered, Disabled and Dazed, making it pretty much inoperable. Specimen ends up in the middle of the village, just North of the building above the big 2. Once everyone get moving I'll be doing some edits for the map to show where everyone is.

Tou save: 21 Oof, think I'll spend a HP to reroll that: 20, but since I rolled below 10 that gets +10 to 30, so making the save. Reflex save: 13 Yeah, no chance I'd make that, but still -

Forever Boy "We do not know that, Ashley! Children are in danger!" Pan's reply to Ashley was colder than his voice would usually be, lacking any playful tone. He floated down in front of Ashley, getting right into her face, only inches from her. "Past or no past, I will not let children be hurt." He had more to say, but he backed away when Macedon spoke up, starting to explain what was going on. Fine then. Time, the past, it didn't matter to him, and not just because it wasn't his world. He would not let children suffer. Sending Ashley another glare, he waved his hand in front of himself as Macedon spoke. Golden Pixie Dust ran around his body, starting from his center and spreading out, replacing his clothes with his green, white and red uniform, his mask being the last thing to appear. He could just as well do this looking right. "A rescue mission, then," he determined, speaking to himself as much as the others. The grim expression on his face faded quick, replaced with his usual grin. "I will scout ahead, and attempt a distraction. Be seeing you!" Then, he was gone, flying straight towards the center of the village.

GM "It's real." Macedon's voice was sour as he replied Ashley. "Real enough to kill ya." He stepped out in front of the students and took a long look at the battle before them, at the village that was being shelled. The few defenders seemed to be on the losing end of things here, and on closer look, all the tanks seemed to be coming from the East. "We went through the Magic Mesa. Damn place sends you all over time an' space, got some kinda will of its own. It wants you to do something, to learn something. Usually make something right. Only way it'll send us home again. Guess class is in session, then." His voice was a growl. He was clearly annoyed by all of this, but he was also resigned. "Save as many people as you can, get them outta the town, but do not get killed, ya hear? I'd never hear the end of it if I lost some of ya on a trip like this." He pointed out the soldiers advancing from the East, to address Legatus' concern. "It's easy, son. You hit the damn nazis."

Initiative for Forever Boy: 29 Initiative for enemy combatants: 11 I'll put their action after Daystar, so AA won't have to wait for me between actions. Alright, this is a combat situation, but not one that you'll necessarily win by beating up all the soldiers, which is part of the reason I haven't set a number of them. There's two sides of soldiers fighting here, but I won't bother rolling for things not directly involving the PCs. Likewise, Macedon will not act at a Initiative score. Still, each defeated soldier will be counted. Depending on your actions, there will be various triggers that can change the current status of the battle. There's an unknown number of people trapped in the village, which you can find with passive Notice checks, or active Search checks. If you make use of those and have sense powers that would help you, let me know. DC25 on the Notice checks and DC20 on the Search checks, not counting any bonuses from useful senses. On the map below, Blue Squad is currently placed at the yellow arrow to the North, and the soldiers are approaching from the East, as marked on the map. The village is roughly 3300 feet from the la Glave river to the Town Hall marked on the map, with Blue Squad being about 2600 feet from the barn marked 2. GM "Huh?" Metamind looked up at Techneaux as he flew in from above. He was still struggling with the bindings, with little luck. "What do you think you're doing!?" And then he noticed the oversized weapon from the genius hero's rig. He paused for a brief moment as it whirred to life, then started struggling with the bindings with even more desperation, before being blown away by the blast. Only Sunburn remained now.

ic Vibora Bay: Even The Mere Reports Of Such (IC)
RocketLord replied to Avenger Assembled's topic in Americas
CHEVAL The mass of writhing body parts, flesh, bone and blood started moving towards them. The sight of the mass coming towards him and Persephone made his stomach churn, it was nausea inducing just to look at it, but even then, he would not falter. Friend, enemy, it did not matter in this situation. His instincts took over, the cry of Ogoun in his head filled him with what was almost hatred of this strange thing as it shuffled towards them. There was only one proper reaction to seeing such a beast coming for him, such an abomination. Quickly crouching down on the floor, he drove his arm up to the front and under the creature with all his the force he could muster, punching at the abomination.- 49 replies

Attack roll: 25 DC27 TOU + Autofire Bonus if htat hits. -
As I said on discord, I'll need a Strength check from you for the Groundstrike, then I'll roll to oppose that.

GM As Justice called them out, the first of the four creatures made a shrill shriek, quickly clambering around the buildings. They were small, maybe 3 to 4 feet tall, their skin a dull grey that seemed to fall in rather well with the ruins. They had relatively long arms for their stature, with only 2 fingers and a thumb on each hand. Their long faces that had moustache-like feelers. Their eyes were a dull yellow, and they were all bald with no visible ears or noses. They were clearly humanoid, even if they were clearly not human. They seemed to be dressed in armored shorts, with metallic bows that seemed to have strings made of energy. As one of the creatures pulled the string of its bow, an arrow like the ones that had hit the heroes appeared on it. They screamed, quickly letting loose a flurry of arrows that pinged off Justice's armor and Meta-Naut's force field.
-
Justice "There!" Finally! These guys were quick, they were small, they were running all around those ruins, and they just kept attacking, but finally, Robin spotted one of them! She pointed ahead to the ruins, where one of the guys attacking them moved around. And then another, and another... and a fourth one. Alright, these guys had them outnumbered. They shouldn't even be here, but they had them outnumbered. Great. Screeching to a halt in front of the ruins, she quickly got off the bike. "Hey guys, better come out, 'cause its time for justice!"
