  1. Justice gets to the ruin and goes for another Notice: 22 And opposed Stealth: 13 We actually found them! Justice's out of actions, but now we can find them, at least! Four guys pop up per IC and attacks with bows: 3 vs Justice: 20 11 22 2 hits, which all fail against the Impervious Tou 1 vs Meta-Naut: 24, a hit, so give me a DC18 TOU save 13 - Meta-Naut - 2HP - Unharmed 13 - Justice - 1HP - Unharmed 7 - Attackers x4 - Unharmed
  2. "I am completely fine with not having to do that!" Pan was, of course, all smiles at not having to be a little shoulder devil. There was no reason for anything like that if it could be helped, after all! Not to his friends, at least. Even if he was pretty sure that Micah and Judy would be less troublesome together than Leroy and Judy, at least. He made a quick bow. "I will strive for the good word, then, but only in an acceptable number of layers, of course." Well, he was not quite sure that this was going to work or not, but oh well, he could try his best for his friend, at least. "Any other ideas that might be acceptable in this world, then?"

  5. GM "Probably, yeah. It would be weird if they didn't have an investigation." Rita looked rather serene for a moment, as she emptied her cup. She held it up and looked into it, frowning at it being empty, before sitting it down next to Nicole's. "I'm sure they will find out just how Guy did all of it, and then I can get on with my research. I obviously wouldn't know anything about what happened." She stood up and placed her blanket behind her, then dusted herself off, moved closer to Nicole and placed a hand on her shoulder, leaned in close, her voice barely more than a whisper. "Still, I think it would be a real shame if Salvo showed up to help. As good as that armor is, I'm sure they would be able to dig up all the copies of the videos from the security cameras. Like how someone crawled into that armor." Her tone was friendly, jovial even. "It would be a shame if something like that would get out, right?" She stood back up, not giving Nicole a chance to reply before she started walking back towards the building. "Aaaany-way, I'm sorry you got caught up in all this! I'm sure the company will pay for you to take some days off and start feeling all better, probably get someone to talk to and everything. Take care now!"

  7. On second thought: Gonna give till the end of Wednesday for Initiative rolls, so I'll start the combat Thursday morning my time. If you don't make the initiative before then, you'll come in at whatever initiative you roll after that.   9. GM "Bound?" the Winged Wonder stared in disbelief. Then her lips twisted into a cruel grin. "Then your days are counted, scum!" She started waving light around her hands, quickly becoming a lasso of light. With a triumphant laugh, the Winged Wonder moved her wings again, flapping them to get a bit of distance, then threw the golden glowing lasso of light towards Ms. Bright, while she laughed triumphantly.
  10. Sense Motive: 20 It works! Attacking with a Snare of Light, just in case you don't want to autofail it: 16 Yeah, she's missing unless you want to get caught, of course. Rank 6 Snare, for purposes of eventual breaking.
  11. GM It didn't exactly take long before the attacker started again, this one targeting the approaching Justice. Another wooden arrow came flying out from the ruins, this time harmlessly hitting Justice's armored form, fading away much quicker this time, having disappeared before it even touched the ground. There were more movement ahead in the ruins. In fact, as the heroes approached, they could see multiple shadows moving around the ruins. It seemed their attacker was not alone.
  12. Justice "What?" It happened fast, way too fast. An arrow hit the Meta-Naut's force field, hit the ground, then just sort of faded away. Magic or some kinda tech? Didn't matter, someone was attack, and they were far away. Reaching a hand down to her belt, Robin made some quick adjustments, causing portals to manifest all around her, quickly bulking up her armor. They were sitting ducks out here, no reason to not armor up. "I'm not seeing anything. Nothing's supposed to be out here like this, anyway!" Only place to hide here were the ruins, so she revved up her bike and started drawing. "Gotta come from the ruins! C'mon!"
  13. Justice switches the MOD System to full Protection, for a total Toughness of +15, IDEA System to the Super-Senses and MOVE System to Impervious Toughness. Move action to drive closer, Notice check to try and spot the bad guy: 13 Not great! Opposed Stealth: 23 NOPE! Since Justice is on approach, the bad guy attacks her: 19 Its a hit, but can't penetrate Justice's Impervious Toughness! 2 IC posts coming, then Meta-Naut is up! Ruins are about 1000 feet away, if you want try to reach them, Justice will get there on her next post. 13 - Meta-Naut - 2HP - Unharmed 13 - Justice - 1HP - Unharmed 7 - Unknown Attacker - Unharmed
  14. GM "C'mon, lass! Yer brave, so how about starting to move!?" The captain was perhaps a bit too confident, now. She started to move to the site, trying to dodge the outcoming kick, only to be hit straight in the face. Reeling back, she stumbled a few steps and shook head head. Raising a hand she opened her mouth, then noticed something was off. Chewing a bit, she eventually spit a tooth out, giving Torpedo Lass a chance for another shot.

  18. GM The ball retracted, while the Pinball Wizard cackled over the speakers. "Are ya'll ready for the first ball? I got a good feeling about this one, kids!" Pulled all the way back, the giant ball was fired ahead, directly towards the group. Octoman pressed against the wall, avoiding it easily, while it simply passed through Spectre. Archer just managed to get around the corner before the ball came flying out at full speed, rolling into what appeared to be a giant sized pinball table, with an assortment of neon colored bumpers, holes and walls scattered all around them. The ball flew ahead and pinged off a wall far away, starting to move around the room. Ahead, they could see a cage with a young man inside, pulling desperately at the bars. The cage was only just big enough that he could stand in it.
  19. Archer II Connor looked at Octoman's fist for a brief second, then reached forward to bump it. Alright, the guy had good taste, at least. And then he did a whole weird thing with his arms and letters appearing on his chest. Connor just stared for a moment, letting it all sink in. Whatever else, Octoman's powers were weird. But fine, he could deal with that. And the deafness, that was good to know. Leaning up, he gave a brief nod. "Got it." Naked. Of course. Just to make things weirder. Everything started vibrating and shaking. Having looked at Octoman, he quickly spotted the giant silver ball as it was pulled back. "Move!" Of course, he hadn't needed to worry about the others. They had powers, after all. As for himself, Connor turned and started running, quickly shifting the arrow on his bow for another, then fired another line and used it to quickly pull himself out of the tunnel and around the corner.

  21. CHEVAL Marcus stared at his phone for a moment as Camellia's message came in. There was still something about the look that nagged me, some hint like he had seen her somewhere before. He saw so many people all the time, and well, he was starting to feel like she might be someone he had forgotten about. She seemed familiar with him, at least, and more than one would from just having seen one of his appearances. Time to break the little story that "Rapunzel" was weaving, at least. I'm sorry, but I do I know you? There is something familiar about your pictures, but I can't quite place them.
  22. GM Justice's blaster made noise as it blew away the lock. There was silence for a moment, then a sound, like someone banging weakly on metal. It didn't come from the green container, but from one of the others, though. Justice didn't seem to notice, but the Emerald Spider could hear the sound, at least. It seemed to come from the dark grey container pressed up against the Southern wall. Soon, the sound of the first weak banging were joined by another, and another. Three distinct sounds of someone banging on the walls. Something was clearly in there, but the question was who... or what.

  25. Justice "Not yet, no. Haven't gotten that quite right yet, sorry." Justice's tone made it sound like she was apologizing, which she honestly was. She really should have figured out the whole x-ray thing by now, but it just hadn't worked out so far. Either way too little penetration or way too much, and frankly, she wasn't into not being able to see where any walls were, or ending up seeing through people's skin. Emerald Spider had a good point, though. Either someone would find the bone guy, or he'd end up running. Finding him might be good, unless he ended up hurting someone... Ugh, had to figure something out. "Alright, no time to waste, then." Reaching for her belt, she pulled out her blaster and moved to then nearest container, the green one. She took aim and fired at the lock, blowing it to pieces, getting ready for whatever might or might not be coming out.
