  1. Alright, let's try to stop Roadkill for good. Archer moves away from the others, to make sure they're not just staying in one big group. Then he shoots a Standard Arrow with Bludgeoning damage type at Roadkill: 1d20+14 = 20 Not the best, but not sure how if Hologram's TK grapple does something or not to make the hit easier! DC21 TOU save if that hits.
  2. GM "Yeah, um, maybe... can I do some constructive critque?" It was Joey. Of course it was Joey. "But it kinda sounds like you're just standing there and letting the damn thing shoot arrows at you over and over?" And another arrow came flying through the mists, though this time it went wide, far from Moira. The gorgon made a hissing noise from the mists, before it was replaced with a chuckle. "Perhaps you are too tough for my arrows, godling, but I doubt that your friends are as strong." The threat was quite clear. Moira would have to act fast now.
  3. Well, this is working well so far, so the Gorgon keeps going. Arrow to the knee: 12 She missed. She's very sad. Stealth to beat, unless you come up with other ways of finding her: 16 20 - Scion - 1HP - No damage 19 - Gorgon - No damage, Stealth Mist - Partial concealment: Defender rolls: attacks miss on 17+, including the Gorgon's petrification stare
  4. GM Watching his friends be taken down, first with the Meta-Naut throwing a bike at one, then Justice striking the other with her rocket hammer, the last of the robbers waited a moment, then raised his hands, dropping both his gun and his loot. "Yeah, I'm not stupid. I give. Just... don't hit me with any hammers or bikes, alright?" He slowly stepped off the bike, keeping his hands raised the entire time, while the cops were starting to filter around the cars, quickly slapping handcuffs on the robbers, while lifting the unconscious ones up. They shared some pleasantries and thanked the heroes, before they started the work of getting the bad guys out of there, and redirecting the the traffic until they could move the bikes.
  5. Justice "Right, right! Sorry!" Well, that was embarassing. Way to make a good first impression on the Mighty Meta-Naut. Get all starstruck in the middle of the fight and get hit. Not that it really mattered, with the full armor on, at least. Honestly, Robin should've come up with her M.O.D. system a long time ago! Opening her hand, she dropped her Shock Blaster, which disappeared into a purple portal, while at the same time she reached into another portal, pulling out a large hammer with a two-handed handle, and what seemed to be the exhaust of a rocket on one end of it. It was easily as tall as Justice herself, and grabbing it with both hands, she quickly swung it towards one of the two robbers, who, even with his helmet on, seemed suitably scared as the massive rocket powered hammer collided with his chest, sending him flying down the street and hitting the asphalt between the stopped traffics. Finishing spinning the hammer around and planting the long handle into the ground, while still holding it with one hand. "Look buddy, you got the Meta-Naut over there, you're all alone, and I got my freaking giant rocket hammer. How about you just drop that gun and turn yourself in?" Now, this was a much better first impression.
  6. Justice brings out the Rocket Hammer and SMACKS the nearest bad guy: 1d20+8 = 15 That's a DC27 TOU save for the bad guy, which he can't make: 23 getting close though, and a KO! And knockback from that... That's 16-3 = 13 = Oh god he's flying! Gonna try to Intimidate the last one into giving up, with a +2 Circumstance bonus from having shrugged off their bullets, having just sent the other one flying and him being all alone now: 1d20+4 = 23 Resisted by Intimidate: 5 The last guy knows when he's beat, drops his gun and gives up. Combat over, unless Meta-Naut wanna meta-smack someone. 25 - Justice - 2HP - Uninjured 7 - 3x Motorcycle Robbers: 2x KO, 1 given up [1 bike (Bruise x1, Injury x1)] 6 - Meta-Naut - 3HP - Uninjured
  7. GM "My art is exquisite!" Clearly, Moira had hit a nerve, as another arrow came flying out of the mists, striking Moira's other shoulder. "You will be art long before you will ever find me, godling!" "Moira! Do not piss off the scary snake woman that can turn you to stone if she looks at you!" This time, it was Val. It was a bit hard to tell if she was joking or serious. The slithering sounds kept coming from the mists. Clearly, the gorgon was moving around and shifting her position, but maybe Moira would be lucky.
  8. The Gorgon stays stealthy, shooting another arrow at you: 25 That's a hit, DC15 Fort save vs. Con drain, then DC18 TOU save vs Damage And stealth you need to beat to find her: 13 20 - Scion - 2HP - (pending saves) 19 - Gorgon - No damage, Stealth Mist - Partial concealment: Defender rolls: attacks miss on 17+, including the Gorgon's petrification stare
  9. GM The armor clanged all the way down the stairs. As she fell, she could feel the number of nanomachines slowly decreasing. All over the building, people woke with a shock as what seemed to be silver fluid drained from their bodies, falling inert to the floor around them. While Salvo had not been able to entirely destroy the nanomachines with her command, she was at least making them inert. Her plan worked. As she hurried down the hallway in the basement, dead, mutilated mice were all around here, lying in small silver pools. However the nanomachines had kept them alive until now, the removal of the nanomachines from their bodies had done the trick. The door to the room was open. Inside, Nicole would find two figures. Rita, sitting on a chair, slowly shaking her head, a mouse lying in a silver puddle next to her. She seemed out of it, but she was getting better, at least. And at the side of the room, Gary, sitting on his knees, his eyes wide open, staring deep into the open space before him. Silver fluids streaming from his eyes, ears, mouths and nose in seemingly unending amount, he had didn't even notice the massive Belios armor in the doorway. Rita slowly stirred. "Who... what's going on?" She noticed the Belios, and Gary. "Gary!? What the hell!?"
  10. DC15 Notice check to reveal the spoiler
  11. GM As it turned out, Chromium was in luck. The left door open out into a large freight area, which seemed almost bare, save from a number of military vehicles. Three jeeps, a single APC, what seemed to three SUVs. The freight area was quite large, and at first, there seemed to be no immediate way for the vehicles to leave. If he looked up, Chromium would be able to spot what seemed like an opening in the middle of the roof, the deck of the ship. It could most likely be raised, allowing the cars to leave. And sure enough, there was a lift directly under the opening that seemed designed to raise up, letting the vehicles drive out. The area seemed empty, aside from the vehicles, but right there, against the back of the room, he saw a man tied to a chair, a black bag over his head.
  12. Justice Freedom City or not, this was turning into a whole Emerald thing, it seemed. Robin suppressed a squee from under her armor when she saw none other than Max Mars approaching Raya. When Robin had been flagged down by a Compass Rose employee on the street, she had guessed there were some kind of thing they needed Justice to deal with. Like, they accidentally created a super villain or some bad guy had stolen some important doodad that they wanted her to bring back, but nope, it had been an offer to come along and represent Emerald's tech heroes at a Compass Rose tech expo in Freedom City. Of course, Robin had kept her cool and thought it all over. Except, not really. More like squeeing and immediately agreeing, then realizing she'd be spending a flight with the Raya Wells (which, while awesome, had also been kinda awkward, what with Robin having to wear her domino mask the entire time, secret ID and all that), and now, here she was, in Freedom City for the very first time. Full Justice armor (the newest, modular version of course), standing close to where Raya Wells was standing, ready to show off the best of her tech to any visitors, but even as she kept back, because obviously she wasn't about to get in the way of Max Mars and Raya Wells, but she just couldn't help but at least try to listen in.
  13. Right, nothing suspicious going on with Dinostroyer at all, then.
  14. That's a hit. TOU: 9 Fail, one guy KO. My posts coming when I have the time.
  15. GM The rider that had gotten around Justice turned his head when the Meta-Naut called out to him, only to feel his bike being pulled out from under him in a moment. Still having had some speed, he yelled out before falling flat on his face, quickly rolling back into a sitting position and raising his gun, firing several missing shots in Meta-Naut's direction while shouting incoherently. "Get her!" one of the other two riders shouted over the noise, both quickly firing at Justice, one of them actually managing to hit her, only to see the bullets bouncing off the heavy armor plating that was currently covering Justice.
  16. Justice "Two?" Justice honestly sounded puzzled when she asked, staying on her bike as the shots went wide. Then came the tether, pulling out the bike from under the one guy that she hadn't managed to block off, making him eat pavement. Right, that was one was to stop him, kinda along the lines of what Robin had planned to do on her own. And then... wait, was that!? "The Mighty Meta-Naut!" If her eyes had been visible, they would probably have been showing stars. This was great! This was awesome! "This is so cool!" She loved team ups!
  17. Justice notices Meta-Naut and is starstruck, triggering her Fangirl complication and skipping her turn, so the robbers are up. The robber that hit the ground gets up and shoots at Meta-Naut, the other two shoots at Justice: 14 18 12 Justice gets hit, but her Impervious TOU takes care of that. You're up. 25 - Justice - 2HP - Uninjured 7 - 3x Motorcycle Robbers: 2x uninjured, 1 on the ground [1 bike (Bruise x1, Injury x1)] 6 - Meta-Naut - 3HP - Uninjured
  18. GM Dinostroyer fell, hitting the ground with a sound not entirely unlike thunder, as someone heavy falling to the ground, and a bit away from Kanunu, putting at least some distance in. Sunburn only laughed as the newcomer's blast went wide, seeming to forget that her own aim seemed just as bad, if not worse. As for Metamind? He was struggling to get back into action, the Emerald Spider's latest strike still taking its toll as he weakly clawed at the web that covered his eyes.
  19. Yep, that's a miss. Metamind is dazed, so he doesn't get to act, but let's see if he regains his sight, happening Initiative 16, which I'll rate to being after Emerald Spider's action: 23, he can see again, but he remains blinded until Emerald Spider have acted! 35 - Technaux - 1HP - Uninjured 19 - Metamind - Bruise (x1), Dazed, Blinded (Ends after Emerald Spider's turn, Flat-footed def -2) 19 -- 10x Mind Controlled Civilians - 3 Uninjured, 3 entangled, 4 bound and helpless 18 - Shrike - 1HP - KO 16 - Emerald Spider - 0HP - Bruise (x1) 15 - Sunburn - Uninjured 11 - Dinostroyer - Bruise (x1), Prone 4 - Kanunu - 1HP - Bruise (x2) @Tiffany Korta, you're up And @angrydurf can I get a notice check?
  20. Yeah, that works. No need for even save, you get the bike, and he eats pavement. Let's say... TOU vs. DC20: 22 He's lucky and makes it!
  21. GM "AH! THERE'S TWO OF THEM!" the guy that had driven a bit away from the others desperately tried to hold on to his bike and get some control. Somehow, he managed and didn't crash, but it took all he had to stay in control. The other two robbers stopped right before crashing into Justice, probably more to keep themselves safe than to avoid hitting the super hero. "Outta the way!" If the driver a bit away from the other seemed to be more of an individual, the two drivers in front of Justice reacted in complete sync. Both raised their automatic weapons, one shooting at Justice, the other turning up and shooting at Meta-Naut above. For both, the shots went wide. Professional or not, these guys might be great drivers, but not the best shots.
  22. Justice Alright, she shouldn't be excited, but honestly, Robin just couldn't help herself! First time trying out her brand new modular armor in the field! No more switching around complete armor sets, just switching out bits and pieces as necessary. Like right now, all armored up, racing down the street on the Law Rider. Most of the red parts of her armor had been covered up by silver armor plates, which, admittedly slowed her down, but should also make her pretty much bullet proof. And she could easily swap it out if these guys turned to be all about speed! It was cool! It was awesome! And now she had to make sure she made a good first impression with her brand new armor! Her red scarf flowing behind her, she tore through the traffic and out on the road in front of two of the bikes, blocking their path. "Hey guys, haven't you heard?" Reaching out with her right hand, she briefly reached into a small purple portal, then pulling it back to with a small handheld blaster in her hand, much smaller than her old Justice Buster. "It's time for justice!" Then, twirling herself to the side, she took a shot at the one guy she hadn't managed to block of, an electric blast from the gun striking his motorcycle.
  23. Justice is all armored up since she's on the bike, so MOD System at TOU+15/DEF+5 and MOVE System at Armor Plating, which means Impervious TOU 5. Alright, Justice drives in from a sideroad on the left and blocks the path of two of the bikes, shooting at the last bike with her Shock Blaster: 1d20+14 = 32 Yes, hitting the bike. TOU save for the bike vs. DC21: 1d20+8 = 13 Fail by 8. Since its an object, its lethal damage, so the bike is now Dazed, Bruised and Injured. The rider makes a drive check vs. DC15 to stay in control: 17, still holding on, but slowed down. The other two motorcyclist shoots at the two heroes: At Justice: 14, miss At Meta-Naut: 7, even more miss 25 - Justice - 1HP - Uninjured 7 - 3x Motorcycle Robbers: All uninjured, 1 bike (Dazed, Bruise x1, Injury x1) 6 - Meta-Naut - 3HP - Uninjured
  24. OOC for this. @Shofet Let's get some initiative rolls for combat once we're past the initial opening posts, so we're ready for that! Justice: 1d20+5 = 25 Boom! 3 Robbers, all acting on same initiative: 7
  25. GM Royal Hill August 20th 2019, 4:30 PM Sirens, shots being fired. The roar of motor cycles tore through the streets of Royal Hill, as three figures escaped the scene of their crime, weaving in and out of traffic on full speed on their bikes, quickly leaving the police cruisers behind. They were all dressed in black, as were their bikes, with heavy bags full of money strapped to their sides. Each seemed to have fire arms of some kind in their hand, occassionally turning to shoot back at the cops in case they got too close. Far behind, they had left behind an armored truck, doors blown open with explosives. A diamond transport, the driver and guard had been left alive, but hurting. New wares for some other upscale jewelry shop or another in Royal Hill, the robbers were sure to get away, unless someone intervened.
