  1. Justice Bending down in her knees, Robin tried to get a better look at the logo. It wasn't something she recognized, but it made sense to check out, yeah. "Sounds like its our only lead, right?" She stood up again. "But we can't just leave him here like this. He could start hurting someone else. Could you like... web him up real good? Then I'll call the cops on him on the way to the warehouse?" Weird. She'd been growing more confident, but hanging out with Emerald Spider like this, Robin felt kind of insecure. Like, there's a big hero, how could she do anything else but just listen and learn, right? It wasn't far to the warehouse, Robin could use her jump jets to get there, Emerald Spider could easily swing. Making her way to a nearby rooftop that overlooked the place. It was a big building, with the logo from the man's pants prominently showing on its walls, but other than that, it seemed pretty standard for a warehouse. Nothing out of the ordinary, and pretty closed, given the time of the day. "So, either that's some sinister place, or the guy just used to work there, right? What do you wanna do, go in and look around?"
  2. GM The chain was securely fastened. There seemed to be some weird device secured around several links to keep it in place, like a great big, metallic hook, which had rolled around to connect to itself. The chain itself seemed rather formidable. Not something that could easily be broken, even with Torpedo Lass' power. She could try, of course, but that could always attract unwanted attention. If she looked closely at the point where the chain disappeared, she could see a slight shimmer, like the heat over a road. Something there, but not quite there either. Obviously, the chain had to be connected to something, after all. Below, she could hear voices and activity. Obviously, someone was down there, and they were reacting to the news of Torpedo Lass' exploits.
  3. GM The man had a radio strapped to his body armor, a small device on the right side of his chest. It was easy enough to get off, along with the rest of the man's uniform. There were some rope around that could be used to tie up the soldier. Probably a good choice, he was bound to be pissed whenever he woke up. So, silver skinned man in an uniform. It might buy him some moments, true. Moving out through the doors, Chromium found himself in another hallway, with new doors down the left and right paths. Both seemed to lead further into the ship. The radio made a scratching sound, like the hull of the ship was blocking the signal somewhat, before a somewhat garbled voice came through. "... ar is gone. Drove right into the water and disappeared. Be on guard, it might be a 'morph." The radio fell silent again.
  4. REBELLION This had not been the night that Elliot had expected. He stood back while Meta-Naut handed Ms. Demeanor over to the police, leaned against a wall with his arms crossed as he watched. Yes, that had worked out so great last time with Captain Crime, but at least she didn't seem to have a Crime Gun. ... Elliot had not done much drinking yet, despite the opportunities he'd had, and he still felt like he needed a drink after this insanity. And Captain Crime was probably gonna be back as soon as he could, with another Crime Gun and to cause more chaos. His fault, probably. He should've gone after him. He hadn't even noticed Meta-Naut coming closer. She was smiling, but it didn't seem quite genuine, like she was forcing herself. Ice cream? He was a dark avenger, a rebellion rising against the city's secret masters! And she offered him ice cream after a night of insanity like this? "... Yeah, alright." Ice cream sounded good, yeah.
  5. GM Oh, there was commotion alright. As Torpedo Lass catapulted herself into the sky, up and above to the roof of the ship, she could see several pirates running towards the group of tied up pirates she had left behind, shouting and cursing all the while. Oh, they knew that someone was here now, but since the four pirates were still out for the count? Well, it might be a while before they found out. The roof didn't seem to have any pirates stationed on it, which made sense on the moving vessel. It didn't take long to find the hatch and get to work on opening it, and she could hear voices from below, but then, something else caught her eye. Up ahead, there was a chain secured around a small post on the roof, the chain itself stretching up, into the sky...
  6. Now wasn't that something? There was always something alluring about Persephone, but the dress that she shifted her usual attire into? It looked great on her. No, even before meeting the host, this seemed like it would turn out to be a good evening. "Oui, we cannot keep our host waiting, after all." He resisted the temptation to comment on her clothes, but happily accepted her arm in his. He returned Torque's greeting with a nod, a smile and "It is good to see you again, my friend,", before turning to their host that had appeared in the doorway, dressed far more casually than his guests. The Dragoneer, the Ultimate Dragon Knight! "I always dress to impress, my friend. I have to stay on brand, after all." He followed their host into his home, leading Persephone for as long as she held on, at least. He gave a quick nod to the Dragoneer's "best bud", extending his hand to first him, then to their host himself. "It is good to meet you. I am Marcus Dumont, or Cheval when in action."
  7. Can I get a notice roll?

  9. REBELLION Huh. Ms. Demeanor spoke Spanish. For some reason, Rebellion hadn't expected that. Slipping his batons back into his jacket, he reached for his notebook and started scribbling in it, while turning his back to Ms. Demeanor and moving towards Meta-Naut. It was almost funny how she thought that he would be the one to talk about getting someone to stop abusing her. Putting his pen back in his inner jacket pocket, he snapped his book shut, then turned around to watch Ms. Demeanor. "I don't think we'll get anything else." He paused briefly. "Not unless I start hurting her, at least." He didn't want to if he could help it, but, it was a possibility. "So, in summary: Other dimensional criminals from comic books. No, that sounds perfectly rational." Someone should probably call someone to go get her, probably with some instructions on the threats of her uncle returning.
  10. REBELLION "Good." Approaching the gun on the floor, Rebellion raised a baton above his head, before bringing it down hard, smashing it into the gun over and over, until it was broken into pieces so small that no one should be able to put it back together. Didn't need someone random doing something like that. And Captain Crime and the big guy had run off, and that flashing noise... had he gone back to his own world, if that was even a thing? Would he be able to just pop back here when he wanted? Great. "Maybe, but think about this: He left you behind. What makes you think he'll ever come back for you?"
  11. GM Pure luck, or actually some accidental planning? Didn't matter, no pirates showed up while Torpedo Lass worked on freeing the life boat and getting it ready for her group of prisoners. It would be simple to get them out in the water now, if they stuck to the life boat, at least. Alarms were probably already going on at the bridge, so if the pirates had someone stationed there, which they probably had, then they would at least know that something was up. She could hear sounds coming from all around her. People running. Lots of people running. Many more than what could have gotten here without some kind of ship or transportation, just like she had mused about moments before. She probably only had moments before things were about to get busy.
  12. On a roll of 1 on a 1d4, there's pirates coming up as TL's working: 2 No pirates right now.
  13. REBELLION "No." Let her go? Why? Rebellion didn't know the rules of the world that Ms. Demeanor came from, but he wasn't about to to just let her go, threat or not. No reason for that to come back and bite him in the ass. Of course, he wasn't the one holding her, so he shot a glance towards Meta-Naut. "Don't let her go." Just to be sure she wasn't falling for that. Honestly, she might. Had to be sure. Easiest way to handle all this would be to break the gun, wouldn't it? Unless she was lying, of course, but he found that few lied when put up against him. "If I break it, what happens to the people that's been... ugh... turned into criminals? Nothing like them being stuck like that?" They didn't need that, after all.
  14. GM "Will do, Ma'am." The younger engineer snapped his heels together and did a quick salute. "We'll keep everything running unless we hear otherwise." As Torpedo Lass left the room, she saw few pirates patrolling, but it was easy enough to slip by them, despite her makeshift package of unconscious pirates. The life rafts were easy enough to find, but getting them free would take a moment, and it was clear that the pirates were patrolling this area as well. So, of course, Torpedo Lass would once again have to make a choice. Get the lifeboat and the pirates in it as planned, but risk getting caught, or just leave the chained pirates behind. She would have to make a quick choice, too.
  15. GM "Sure, there's locks, but they won't hold for long. Gotta make sure crew can escape if the ship's sinking, right?" the younger of the engineers explanined, before the other joined in. "No word from the bridge for a long while, but they tried to warn us before those goons came running in here. There were some sounds of struggle, and now here we are." The younger engineer had already run off, coming back carrying some chains. "These should do, yeah?" As for the last message, the engineer just shook his head. "No such things as secret corridors, I'm afraid." He gestured to his clothes, which had a bit of a subdued pirate style to it, but with a big ENGINE CREW on the back. "We're usually all out in the open here."
  16. All a bit too big, they're about 6', but nothing preventing you from trying!
  17. REBELLION Evil. Energy. Other dimensions. Either they were both insane, or they came from an insane world. Reaching up with left hand, Rebellion pinced the bridge of his nose. He felt like he was getting a headache. This was insane. All of this. Other worlds, sure. But evil energies and stories of other worlds told through comics? That was just too much. Shaking his head, he turned away from Ms. Demeanor and instead turned to the Crime Gun. "No. I can't deal with this anymore. What happens if I just break that damn gun? Is it going to explode with "evil energies" and turn us all evil or something?" He did the quotation marks with his fingers. This was just too much.
  18. GM The fight was over. It had all happened so fast, flashes of steel vs. the pure power and grace of Torpedo Lass. The bolts of blue-green energy collided with the pirates, sending them flying back, sprawled on their backs on the floor, as unconscious as the other two, leaving Torpedo Lass standing with the two crew members. "That was awesome!" the one that reached Torpedo Lass first, a man in his mid-twenties with short black hair shouted, either not caring or not thinking that others might hear them. "You were all BAM! and POW! and they just went down!" The other was maybe a few years the first's senior, but he at least seemed to have some more sensibility. His long blonde hair was tied into a tight bun to stay out of his face. "Thanks for the help, miss. I'm guessing you're here to help, right? Anything we can do?"
  19. Two hits, two tou saves: 22 13 Down they go, combat is over. HP status: 1 HP left
  20. There's the logo for the nearby warehouse on the bone man's pants. There appear to be blood on his shoes and on some of his bones, though whether its his own or others is hard to tell.
  21. GM Torpedo Lass' mighty kick connected with the pirate's face, sending him flying to the other end of the room. One more down, just two to go. The pirates might be brave, but they certainly weren't smart. Maybe there was a reason they were the ones that had been stationed down here, or maybe they were all just that dumb. The remaining two pirates piled on Torpedo Lass, swinging their blades and cutting through but air. She was fast, she was tough. Much too fast and tough for the likes of these pirates, it seemed!
  22. That's a hit andyou beat the pirate's defense by more than 10, so +5 DC. let's see if number 4 makes the save: 25, he's out, and let's go with some semi-ragdoll moves for the fun of it Pirate 1 moves behind you, so you're now semi-surrounded by pirates! |2 C EEEEEEEE C| EEEEEEEE| X 3 C |______1_T______4 Both 1 and 3 try to hit you with their cutlasses: 19 19, all still missing, cus they're sucky pirate minions! 21 - Pirate 1 - Unharmed 21 - Pirate 3 - Unharmed 21 - Pirate 4 - KO 15 - Torpedo Lass - 2HP - Unharmed 14 - Pirate 2 - KO
  23. Str. save vs. Trip: 16 Dinostroyer is now tripped and prone.
  24. REBELLION He heard that groan. Rebellion glared lightly at the Meta-Naut as she moved to intercept with some kind of tether from her gun. What couldn't that gun do? But she got the bad guy, at least. And then went all dark and brooding on her, which, frankly? It didn't really work, did it? "This isn't as easy as I make it look, y'know." he murmured as he walked past the Meta-Naut to Ms. Demeanor, slowly twirling one of the batons between his finger. "Let me. You sound like an angry teddy bear." He stopped in front of Ms. Demeanor. His eyes glowed from the darkness that was his face. There was something changing about his demeanor, his entire body. There was a glare in his eyes, as he slowly raised one of the batons to Ms. Demeanor's face. "Meta-Naut might be a nice and fluffy teddy bear, but you saw what I did to your boss and your goons. You seem smarter than them. Tell me everything about Captain Crime and his Crime Gun." He watched her like a hawk.
