Right, let's see some initiative!

REBELLION It didn't take them long to reach Compass Rose International. He looked up at the building while the Meta-Naut disappeared into the bushes to do her morphing thing. He frowned, but looked away. Why would she need to leave to change her appearance with abilities like that? Weird, but her abilities probably worked differently than his own. He honestly knew little about the company, aside from it dealing with space exploration. Emerald was probably the perfect place for something like that. Whatever faults Emerald had, it was a paradise for tech geeks like that. Meta-Naut was going as the CEO. Alright, he should just choose someone that would follow her around then. Nice suit. A bit taller than normal, 6'3'' maybe. Bit more muscular. Short dark hair, neatly trimmed beard. Early 30'es. Glasses with a red rim. Something to draw attention away from any other details. As she emerged from the bushes, the new man stood before her. "Go ahead. I'm your guest here, after all." He took half a step back, spreading his arms out to the side in a small bow, before following.

Notice: The mice behind you on the staircase seem to have started merging together, their shape slowly growing in size while you fiddle with the computers. Now, this will probably be your last chance before that thing attacks you, so do you want to use Extra Effort (at the cost of fatigue with currently no HP to mitigate that instantly) to reroll the computers roll for a final shot at taking control of the nanomachines? At any rate, give me an IC with your action, then the mice will act.

GM "What the hell!?" The men threw themselves to the side, obviously not wanting to be run down by the car. A few of them took shots, but none of them managed to do any damage to the speeding car. Just before he hit the water, Chromium could swear he heard one of them shouting about a boogie in the water. Hitting the water, Chromium would have trouble seeing anything. The already grimy water was only more difficult to see through in dark night with only the few street lights above for illumination. He could make out the shape of the ship in the water. The anchor chain would be nearby, just ahead, but would he be able to make it to it? One thing he noticed with no doubt was that he was, of course, sinking. A car, or a man of metal? Not the best thing to put under water.

REBELLION Rebellion did not like that. A transmitter. Combine it with his crime gun. Turn the entire city into criminals in one fell swoop. Everyone. It might be cartoonish, but it would still be dangerous. And how would it affect someone that was already criminal, like the Elysium Academy students? Would it make them worse? More cartoonish? Right now, the city benefitted from them staying hidden and out of the spotlight, but if the crime gun unleashed on a city wide scale changed that... He looked up. Rebellion had been standing still, a hand on his chin, thinking about the effects for a moment, but he snapped out of it. Where would he get a big transmitter? Made sense, that would be where he would go. So they needed to find that. He had heard some things. Either as Elliot or Rebellion, he honestly couldn't remember, but he knew of one big transmitter that had recently gone up. "Compass Rose International." His answer was quick and precise. With a little flourish and twirl, he placed his batons back in his belt and started walking out of the police station. Might still be trouble in here, but, the bigger picture had to come first. He set into a run, hoping the Meta-Naut would keep up. They had to get there fast. They had no idea how much of a headstart Captain Crime and Ms. Demeanor had.

Let's see if Reb knows anything about a big transmitter: Knowledge [Streetwise] 1d20+15 = 19

Forever Boy Pan listened, but otherwise remained silent. Micah needed to speak, to get things off his chest, and some times, as much as he liked to talk himself, it was best to listen, was it not? He was getting somewhere, at least! While frustrated, Micah could at least his mother's point, and he had his own thoughts on the matter, on his father's death, and on the buttons Leroy had pushed, and... then the new boy, Claude, had called out. So close. Oh well. Pan would find out what was "beyond that" some other time! Obviously, Micah wanted to keep this private! "Ah, yes, you were the one that Ashley was threatening, were you not?" Pan flew closer, quickly grabbing Claude's other hand and shaking it, grinning all the while. "Happens to the best of us! Several times, probably! I am Pan, happy to meet you!" He let go, flew a step back and bowed in mid-air.

Archer II Everything was happening so fast, everyone reacting, doing their thing. The question was, where could Connor put his skills to most use? Fast-Forward was covering the roof, probably didn't need much help. Troopers out front, with that Liteshow guy. Merge and Hologram could handle them, he didn't doubt that, but the way they were standing, positioned around in a crescent like that? It was perfect. Connor just couldn't resist. Reaching back for his arrows, he grabbed a handful and rushed towards the front, quickly moving out besides Hologram and Merge. Five arrows in hand, he pulled them all back at once and let them fly, sending arrows raining down over Liteshow and his troopers.
-
Archer moves out front to join Merge and Hologram, and shoots a Hail of Arrows at Liteshow and the WU Troopers. That's a Targeted Cone area effect that should be able to catch all 4. Attack roll: 1d20+14 = 23 That's a DC21 TOU for all of them if that hits.

GM Guy frowned, but continued to the elevator without looking back. As Salvo predicted, the mouse followed close by, waiting and watching. Keeping so many eyes on the massive armor, and what could see it do. The mice all scattered when Rita smashed one, creating a large circle free of mice around her. And yet, they remained, watching her closely, watching her every movement, as she held the remains of the mouse in her hands. Already, it seemed like the nanomachines were trying to repair it, rebuilding broken bones, holes in the flesh, missing silver fur... Salvo made contact with the system. So far, so good. But as she had already experienced, it was a complex system, one made up of years of research and experimentation. There was a network, yes, that much she could see. One that she could, in theory, get to, if she could find the correct paths through the software and hardware. Given time, there would be no doubt that Salvo could get there, but, as always, the question was: Would she be given that time?

GM The pirate took the hit head on, but he only smiled. "Gonna take more than that, lass!" Then he moved, quickly stepping around Torpedo Lass to get out of the way, letting both of his friends fire their guns. The bullets went far past her, with little chance of hitting, but at least they created an opening for the first pirate to kick towards the hero's legs. "We've faced worse than yer, lass! You stand down and we'll let ya stay pretty!" Like the bullets and blades, the kick got nowhere close! Torpedo Lass were simply too fast for these pirates, and maybe they were starting to understand that!

REBELLION "Yes. It sounds like being dead would be rather unpleasant." He honestly didn't know what to say to Meta-Naut's statement, but he felt he had to say something at least, while they looked around. Still, it didn't make any sense that he could do all this after falling off the truck. He knew how hard he had thrown his baton, and he had fallen off the truck. He should have a concussion, bruises, potentially some broken bones. All the chaos here, he shouldn't be able to do something like this, even with that weird gun of his. He would have to actually lift it. Maybe Rebellion should make sure that his arms were broken next time. And then Meta-Naut made it all click. Of course he had to have a Ms. Demeanor, it fit exactly with everything else they had seen so far. He was doing everything he could to emulate the Captain Crime for the comics, so of course he had to have an assistant too. "No bet. There's no way he's not copying that too." Just looking around at random wouldn't help at all, would it? "Did the comic say anything about his plans? Or where he was hiding?"

GM "She got Jimmy! Get 'er already!" the pirate closest by shouted as Torpedo Lass' blast of plasma took down another of the pirates. The engineer nearby dove to the side to stay out of the way, but still looked thankful for Torpedo Lass' actions, at least. "We have taken down bigger and better than you, lass!" another of the pirates shouted as the two farthest away took aim and fired their flintlocks and fired, the bullets once again going far and flying around the engine room before coming to a rest. With a grunt, the nearest pirate grabbed his cutlass and ran towards Torpedo Lass, quickly swinging the sword, only to pass by her. At least it seemed like she was much too fast for them.

Well, since you go the flaw, you'll need a Computers check to use the power at DC14, at least. Then, give me a Computers check after that for interfacing with the nanomachines, and I'll put the results in my IC.

GM Dinostroyer reeled back from the blow, but all attention was soon drawn to Technaux' assault from above, with his munitions raining down around them. Sunburn deftly moved or burned to avoid the explosives, while Dinostroyer simply took the hits, grunting before turning his attention back to Kanunu. For his part, Metamind clawed at the filaments that covered his eyes, desperately attempting, and failing, to get it off. He let out several grunts and groans, before finally giving up, and started shouting in the direction that he thought Emerald Spider was. "That's cheating! What kind of super hero cheats like this?" Then he let loose, a powerful blast of psychic energy, blue with jagged white edges flying far away from the Emerald Spider, as Metamind was looking in the completely wrong direction.

Technaux is able to target Dinostroyer and Sunburn, with Metamind being a bit farther away. A miss at Sunburn, but hitting Dinostroyer, who gets a TOU vs. DC21: 21 and he just makes the save. Metamind, Fortitude save to try and become unblinded, vs DC20: 13 Still blind, he attempts to mentally blast Emerald Spider in retaliation: 16, that's a miss, even without considering his 50% miss chance. @Tiffany Korta is up 35 - Technaux - 1HP - Uninjured 19 - Metamind - Uninjured, Blinded (vs DC20, +1 to recover next round, Flat-footed def -2) 19 -- 10x Mind Controlled Civilians - 3 Uninjured, 3 entangled, 4 bound and helpless 18 - Shrike - 1HP - KO 16 - Emerald Spider - 0HP - Bruise (x1) 15 - Sunburn - Uninjured 11 - Dinostroyer - Bruise (x1) 4 - Kanunu - 1HP - Bruise (x1)

Forever Boy "I have not, but add me!" Pan called out to Davyd, as he raised his hand in a greeting before following along with Micah to the roof. He slowly started floating rather than walking, his feet reaching just an inch or so above the floor and stairs, leaving just a faint trail of Pixie Dust dropping from his feet. Swinging his phone around in his hand a bit, he quickly shifted it into his pocket and answered Micah's question about Davyd. "A trip to the Carribean, Veronica was kind enough to invite Davyd, Lulu, Adam and myself." He could tell more, of course, but it felt like Micah needed to get things off his chest, so he held back. His stories of adventure could always wait for another day. He followed, and listened, floating alongside his friend with his hands behind his back. He talked of his family, of fights with his mother, of the death of his father, of his plans for the future. Truth to be told, Pan had a hard time relating. He had never known a parent, he had never had anyone that he cared about holding him back from his dreams. Never been the one to stop others, or be stopped in turn, but still, he listened, sitting down on the air and floating just off the side of the roof as Micah played the haunting melody. There was something familiar about it, to tell the truth, but Pan couldn't quite place it. "Ha!" He couldn't help himself, after the somber speech, after talking about his future, his fears, and then, his dressing down of Leroy. He chuckled for a moment, before taking a deep breath to try and stop. "Sorry my friend, that last note was just... perfect!" He let out another short giggle, before shaking his head. "I must admit, I know little of a mother's love. That has always been an absence for me, but I believe that her position comes from care, rather than any malice, no?" He made a slight pause, for the effect, of course. "But, even then, I believe that you should do what you want to do. If you want to fly, then you fly, under your own power or in a marvelous machine! If you want to be a hero, to protect people, then I believe there is no higher calling than that of adventure!" He was moving his hands in front of himself, weaving images out of his Pixie Dust, of Micah, flying in a rough approximation of a fighter jet that Pan had seen once, but was obviously unfamiliar with. He held his hand up, palm to the sky, and let the tiny Micah fly around them in the jet, with sound and everything. "I do not know what happened to your father, and I am truly sorry for your loss, my friend, but is part of love not the ability to let someone be themselves? To let them do what they need to do? Given time, I am sure that your mother will understand." His lips twisted into a mischievous smile. "And besides, if I remember the rules of this world right, it is not like she can stop you once you come of age, no?" As the little plane flew around them still, Pan's thoughts turned to something else, that last part. Micah's statement to Leroy, while not unexpected, was perhaps a tiny bit exaggerated. Now, Pan was all for playing a prank, but Micah's feelings on Leroy seemed excessive for something as small as Leroy's little insult. Pan leaned in, just a bit closer. "Now, about Leroy: I can freely admit that he is not easiest person to get along with here, but I have fought alongside him, and perhaps that has helped a bit, but I cannot help that there is something more to this than what happened earlier. Am I completely wrong here, my friend?" He kept his eyes close on Micah. There was a mystery here, small as it might be, and he would solve it.

GM "My eyes!" Metamind continued to need the speech writer that Emerald Spider suggested, as he reached for his eyes, too slow to evade, doing his best to try and get the webbing off. Sunburn's attention remained on Shrike. A streak of flames behind her, she flew forward with flames burning in both hands, leaving trails on their own. She threw both hands forward, letting loose a stream of flames for both hands, catching Gretchen straight in the streams. She was blown back, crashing into a building and falling down, unconscious. From what the heroes could see, she was at least still breathing. "That's one! Who's next?" Sunburn only seemed to have gotten even more fired up by her victory. After his initial strike, Dinostroyer took a step back from Kanunu, seizing up his opponent. "Not so tough, huh?" He pulled back his arm, preparing a swing and prompty stumbled over his own feet, missing and stumbling a few feet past Kanunu before quickly turning around, his eyes glowing red as he glared at Kanunu.
