Forever Boy Suddenly, there was a great monster upon them! A shark! An octopus! Both! A sharktopus! Pan let out a laugh as he spun around to face the dread monster! "Brilliant! You managed it!" Oh yes, the dread sharktopus! Quicky moving over between the two, Pan gestured to Davyd, pointing and laughing. "Micah! This is Davyd! He is absolutely brilliant! He can become anything, it seems! Even the dread sharktopus!" Moving slightly to the side, he started gesturing to Micah. "And Davyd, my friend, this is Micah, the Thunderbird! A great friend, and my roommate!" He quickly reached forward, brushing some frost from Davyd's side. "You have improved, Micah! Much more localized effects now, no?"

CHEVAL So, the beast was magic of some kind? Cheval nodded in agreement with the man in the dark outfit. "If that's the case, then the things I saw below might have been seals keeping it in place." As Persephone descended into the cave, another realization came to him. "And if that's the case, then that means someone must have broken those seals on purpose!" And they might still be down there. He had no doubt that the two women could defend themselves, but still... "I'll join them below." He quickly added, before moving to the edge of the hole. He jumped over the edge, digging his fingers into the edge to try and slow his fall some. He probably wouldn't be hurt, but he might hit either Betsy or Perspephone. Reaching the ground, he called out to them. "I recognized some of the symbols. Christian images, Voodou. Seems like someone desecrated them with fire."- 82 replies

Outside... Pan let out a laugh as Lulu's outburst, grinning somewhat apologetically to Adam. As Lulu decided to step out for a bit and leave herself in Adam's arms, Pan couldn't help but playfully nudge Adam's shoulder with his knuckles, grinning widely. "Sorry to break your heart there, my friend! I guess you will have to wait with any grand gestures until after graduation, after all!" Oh, of course he wasn't being serious in the least, but he couldn't help it. As much as he tried to be everyone's friend here, he heartily agreed with Lulu, about both Judy being a romantic, and Leroy just now feeling bad. He liked them both, they were his friends, but there were some more fitting ways to apologize for an absence, were there not? Not that Pan hadn't learned that from experience... But wait! "Micah!" He had completely forgotten in all the commotion. "I will check on him! Later Adam, give Lulu my regards!" Flying off, he left little but a trail of Pixie Dust behind as he flew to find his roommate. Inside... And find him he did, walking the stairs alone, guitar case in hand! "Micah!" Pan was already over him, quickly throwing an arm around his roommate's shoulder and pulling him close. "Do not worry about Leroy, my friend. His mouth is usually quicker than his mind, not that either has much to say when it comes to speed!" Not quite true, maybe, but he felt that Micah could use the support.

Forever Boy Back outside, Pan had decided to take a step back from everything that was happening. He was about to say something to Leroy, something to try and reassure him a bit, but decided against it when his friend greeted the newcomer. Flashing a smile and a shrug at Lulu and Adam, he decided he could just as well ask them. "So... is it normal for this world to solve prolonged absences through marriage proposals? Or is it just as bad an idea as on Neverworld?" He kept an eye on Leroy, even as he spoke to the others. He seemed distracted for now, and everyone had dispersed a bit away from the scene. A thought occured to him, and he grinned widely at Lulu and Adam. "How about you, Adam? Finding any inspiration in this scene?" Pan moved his hand up so the couple could see it, an illusionary ring dancing around on it, before it disappeared while Pan let out a light laugh.

CHEVAL The fast, burning one started hitting the beast, and it just exploded! Quickly moving in front of Persephone and Betsy next to him, Cheval threw his arms up in front to shield his face as he was splattered by the beast's destruction. Slowly lowering his arms as things seemed to calm down, he looked around at the rest of the gathered group. He stood tall, placing his hands at his hips, even as he couldn't take his eyes off the vehicle that became a woman. After a brief pause as he got his bearings, he shook his head in response to the woman that had been a vehicle moments before. "I am afraid not, my friend. There's still more to be done here." He pointed to the hole that he had fallen through, which Persephone had just mentioned. "When the beast threw me into the caves, I found signs of desecrated sigils and holy symbols. It might have something to do with this beast." He looked over at the man in black, crossing his arms and nodding. "I know a little of magic. What do you need?"- 82 replies

Combat Defense: What I get from copy-pasting the MOD bit. You're not seeing anyone spotting you yet.

The ship is pretty standard design wise outside, so pretty much anywhere, depending on how high you want to climb and such. There's some steps to grab on to in various places, in case anyone falls over board, so you could get up on the ship pretty much anywhere. Give me a stealth check if you do.
-
GM The ship was still in the water, its giant engines having come to a halt. The ship's waterline appeared static, showing that even if extra weight had come aboard, it was not beyond what the ship could reliably carry. As Torpedo Lass watched from afar, she would notice that, despite the call for help mentioning pirates, no other vessels were visible in the water. Smaller boats would probably have been crushed in the strong waves, so whoever these pirates were, they had to have reached the Queen Anne's Revenge through other means. While Torpedo Lass could not see the top of the ship from her position, she could see people moving around the decks through the open areas and various windows. They were few and far between, but they were there. It was difficult to see at the distance, but they all seemed to be running away from something, or, occassionally, they seemed to be dressed up like pirates, carrying around cutlasses or what seemed to be flintlock pistols.

Justice Emerald Spider was checking up on her? Robin could just about squee, but she should keep it cool, right? Be completely cool. "I'm good, I think." She traced her fingers over the dents and scratches in her armor. "The armor took the brunt of it, I think." No ringing. A bit sore. All in all, held up pretty well. Turning over to the strange man, she moved forward, gently poking him with the gun. "Never seen anything like this guy before. Didn't sound like he could do much talking aside from thoat grunts and growls. Maybe he's working for someone?" Looks could be deceiving, sure, but this didn't really seem like some kind of mastermind, did it? "Don't suppose you got some kinda way of tracking where he's been? Dunno how much he'll wanna tell us, even if he do wake up."

GM September 13th, 2019, 3:30PM 37°07'15.5"N, 55°57'24.5"W, the Atlantic Ocean The cruise ship Queen Anne's Revenge To travel with Queen Anne's Revenge was a luxury only the rich could afford. A giant cruise ship that toured the world, with stops in select major ports, it would at times spend weeks at sea. The ship was 1050 feet long, and 145 feet wide. It was not the largest cruise ship in the world, but it was one of them, at least. It had exactly 2500 state rooms, which, along with the ever present crew, meant that it could easily hold more than 6000 people at once. The ship were divided into 15 floors, all with an appropriate pirate theme. The dread pirate Blackbeard could entertain the kids while the parents played in the casino or used any of the cruise ships many other adult entertainment options. The two outdoor and one indoor swimming pool on the ship were always busy, with water splashing everywhere and children and adults both riding the water slides into the water, one that even stretched out over the side of the ship, the pipe being completely see through at that point in the journey. The crew of the Queen Anne's Revenge were, of course, all dressed in appropriate period uniforms, made up to be pirates. Which made it all the more shocking when, on September 13th 3PM, the ship's captain sent out cries for help to anyone within range. Pirates had attacked the ship, demanding the valuables or lives of all aboard!

Such quick escalation! Everything, all at once! Leroy's entire story, being shipped off between courtships on his strange world, only being able to be saved by Judy? Ashley prowling off to deal with the new guy that kind of insulted Judy, Pan guessed? Judy proposing marriage! Micah standing up to Leroy and letting him know just how he felt about how Leroy had talked to him? Pan absolutely lost it. "BWA-HAHAHA!" He doubled over laughing, slowly floating over to Leroy and Judy with a trail of golden pixie dust behind him, while he tried to regain the ability to speak. Breathing heavily, he stood up straight, brushed his hair back to refresh himself for a moment, then placed a hand on the shoulders of each of his teammates. He opened his mouth to speak, then snickered again, took a deep breath and regained some composure. "Judy. Leroy. My dear friends. I am so happy for you, but, this is absolutely the worst idea." He snickered again, letting go of their shoulders to cover his mouth with the back of his hand before falling into another laughing fit.

GM The woman made a dismissive gesture with her right hand, like she was simply pushing away any of Agnes' concerns. "Of course I can! Look at them! Look at you! You have your God-given powers! You can fly! The purest gift of all! And yet, what do you use such gifts for?" She paused briefly. Agnes could almost hear the poison dripping from her words. "Protecting scum! You are one of them, aren't you? Just filth, never able to become more, never going to amount to anything but sleeping in the streets, begging for handouts from your betters?" She made a slight, but exagerated, laugh, holding a hand up to cover her masked mouth. "Who even cares if some of you go missing? Why should anyone even bother?"

GM The lightning crackled away from Fly-Boy, who struggled on the floor, making weird buzzing noises as he tried to move. His wings would try flap, almost managing it, but not quite. No, he seemed to be at the mercy of Facsimile, lying on the floor as he was, with none of the other Contenders seeming willing to step in on his behalf. Heavyweight was idly scratching his arm in some discomfort, while Bear-Knuckle grinned wickedly, opening and closing his claws as he got himself pumped to get ready.

Oh, Leroy was here too! And Micah too! Pan was still amazed at the smart phones, and all they could do. So much knowledge, in the palm of your hand! He was about to say something to Ashley when Judy made it quite clear that she was quite upset with her paramour! The ship he had conjured vanished in the blink of an eye as Judy began yelling. Now, Judy was powerful when she dared to use her powers, that much was true, but Pan was quite sure that this was the first time he had actually seen the younger of the sisters furious. Somehow, the sight and the sound and the fury were just frightening. Without even thinking about it, Pan had moved away, floating over near Ashley, not really caring that he was within reach now. "I... do not suppose the two lovebirds have had a good summer?" he ventured.

GM "Hey!" Joey grabbed for the doorhandle to try and open it again, but was thrown back into his seat as Chromium tore down the street. Both boys started screaming. Joey desperately trying to grab hold of the wheel to get some kind of control of the car, and his friend just holding on to the car seat, holding his hands up in front of his hands. And then, the voice from the radio! "Dude!" "The car's talking!" "What the hell!" Cue more screaming, while the car continued to tear down the road, before they finally calmed down enough to answer, at least. "Alright, alright! Just... just let us go, man! We weren't gonna steal you, we were just playing, honest!"
-
GM "Who are you?" The man raised his right hand as he spoke, pointing in the direction of Jessica and the young man, though it was not quite clear who he meant. He took a step forward, leaving distinct burnt marks behind every step in the grass, like the skin under his feet were enough to set the grass on fire, even if just for a brief moment. "Not from around here. Not quite. Not the usual visitors to this park." He stopped about ten feet away from Jessica and the young man, then repeated his first question. "Now, tell me, who are you?"
