  1. +1 HP for complication
  2. GM There was laughter, there was revelling. As the group rounded the corner, they reached an open area, roughly 30 by 30 feet. A long, wooden table was placed in the middle of the area, with men and women gathered around it. There were food and drinks on the table. Wine seemed to flow freely from a pair of wooden barrels placed on another table nearby. The food looked delicious. A large turkey, a pig with an apple in the mouth. Pies, pasta, roasted potatoes. Cakes. Whatever the heart desired, it seemed. A blonde woman turned to the group as they approached, waving at them. "Heeey! Come and join us! All this food was just here, no reason to let it go to waste, right?" Joey quickly moved forward, shooting a big grin at Val and Moira. "Well, she got a point there, right?"
  3. I wasn't aware you got a PP bonus for the EU profiles, so here goes: Justice EU profile This should give Justice 1 more PP, and since Justice was one of 3PP earners for July, that should add 1PP to my Reward Tracker, too, putting my Veteran Progress at 80PP before August PP gains.
  4. REBELLION And he went running. Not quite what Rebellion had hoped for. Maybe he should've cornered the man first. Still new at this entire thing, after all. He looked around at everyone around him. He could make them run if they got too close. It was a lot of people. He didn't turn to look at the Meta-naut, but he kept looking around. "I don't see any point in chasing him. Too many people out here. Some of them look like they've been hit by the... Crime Gun. What do you think?" He didn't pause for any kind of effect, but saying it out loud was just so... weird. Still, a lot of people. He did have a plan, he had gotten a good look at that cop after all. But they needed to get inside first.
  5. GM DeCosta Construction Site, corner of Shelley and O'Donnel August 30th 8:30 PM The invite had gone out online, on all kinds of different sites. A few local news sources had even reported on it, though few had taken it seriously. Posted all over walls around Southside. The exact wording was different, but the intent was quite clear: The Contenders, a group of old 80's and 90's villains, and they'd gone mad at Facsimile. They never said why, aside from wanting to take him down a peg. They were gonna show the world that they still had it, that they could fight one of the brand new heroes of the modern day. Meet them at the DeCosta Construction site, or they'd find him and take out wherever he lived. If anyone else tried to interfere, they would blow up a nearby school. Easy, right? Quite a number people had gathered around the makeshift ring that had been set up in the middle of the construction site, though they all kept a good distance from the five men by the ring. Four of them were all obviously past their prime, but otherwise, they didn't share much in terms of looks. Heavyweight, a large, overweight man with drooping features, like his entire face was being pulled down, clad only in red and blue pants and boots. Fly-Boy, a grotesque creature, a man with the eyes of a fly, barbs on his long, thin arms and fly-like wings. He was dressed in a yellow and red one piece costume. The third, TKO, looked normal, with long black hair with some specks of grey, dressed in a grey dress shirt and black slacks. He looked around at the crowds with a smirk. The fourth was Bear-Knuckle. A large, powerfully built man. Balding, but with long brown hair and a large moustache. From around his shoulders, his arms looked like those of a bear. Where TKO's grin was one of amusement, his held far darker intent. The fifth and final was a young man in his early twenties, sitting by a table with a laptop. "About time, right? Think he's gonna show?" TKO asked, while looking at the crowd. Bear-Knuckle's grin widened. "Sure. If not, there's always all of these kids to play with."
  6. Hitting the cop with Aura of Terror, so Will Save vs DC20 to avoid the Fear effect of Emotion Control.
  7. REBELLION It didn't take long to reach the precinct. Meta-naut could obviously fly, and while she kept back, Rebellion did his best to keep up, bouncing and bounding between the rooftops. Flipping, pushing off from walls, running along walls. Alright, he was showing off a bit, he could admit that to himself, even if he wasn't quite sure why he was doing it. Wanting to look good in front of someone else, maybe? It was weird doing this together with someone else in the first place. And the precinct was a mess. Windows busted everywhere, spray paint on everything. And the cop that they had talked to earlier was all dressed up like one of Captain Crime's people. Of course he'd been hit by the gun. They should've gone here faster. His fault for thinking the cops could handle this. "Yeah. But I want some information first." Going in blind? Not if he could help it. Reaching into his jacket, he approached the man, pulling out his batons as he called out. "Hey!" Get attention first. Then time to turn on the charm. A full dose of the primal pure terror spread from him, towards the former cop. He should maybe feel bad about it, the guy had just been trying to do his job, but honestly? It did feel just a little bit good. Besides, it was much easier to question someone when they were too scared to try fighting back.
  8. REBELLION A multiverse traveller? For once, the Meta-Naut actually gave Rebellion pause. His blank white eyes widened slightly. She had probably seen much weirder than him, then. That was unexpected. "I see." He tried to keep his reaction hidden, just a bit contained. She might be lying, but he doubted it. Didn't seem the type. He didn't do it all that well. So, instead he focused over on the useful bit of trivia. "Very rude, yes. But a gun like that still doesn't make any sense in this world." He was adamant of that fact. He was sure that he was right about that. Little blue narration boxes, multiverse travellers, crime guns that turned people into villains. Maybe he should just leave, let the Meta-Naut deal with it. But no, he was curious now. There had to be a reason that Captain Crime was here, of all places. "Let's go, then." With little fanfare, he bent into his knees and jumped straight up, landing on the side of the nearest building, pushed off it and started leaping and running towards the precinct. Still, multiverses and crime guns. He had to see this through, didn't he?
  9. REBELLION Captain Crime. Crime Gun. Evil energies. Doesn't work on ex-criminals. Death ray, turn criminals into upstanding citizens, and then he disappears. And Ms. Demeanor. Rebellion finished his sandwich, wiped his fingers and threw the paper in the trash. Then he reached for his notebook and pen again, quickly starting to scribble notes. "Sidekick. Stands to reason the cosplayer would copy that, too." There were many ways to escape, if Captain Crime was bent on it. "What was the effect of the Crime Gun when he hit the hero? Nothing, pain? If it was nothing, then it stands to reason that you got hit with the Death Ray." More notes. Either that, or Meta-Naut was an ex-con. Crazy, but Rebellion had seen just as crazy, hadn't he? So many people whose powers made no sense at all. He finished his notes and put the handbook away again, then stood up. "Something like the Crime Gun makes no sense. Technology like that shouldn't exist. I'm gonna head to the precinct." He paused for a moment. She'd held up her end, gotten info on Captain Crime, flimsy as it might be. "I wouldn't... mind... if you came along, but I'm not going to force you, either."
  10. I will temporarily archive U.F.O. to make space for Cheval to take that spot. Once I get a veteran reward with the August PP, I'll unarchieve U.F.O. again. Normally, I would just have waited, but I really want to get in on Vibora Bay from the start.
  11. Cheval Power Level: 14 (Built as PL12; 200/212PP) Unspent Power Points: 12PP Trade-Offs: -5 Defense / +5 Toughness In Brief: Celebrity hero of the people empowered by the loa Ogoun. Catchphrase: "I am iron, I am covered in iron." Theme: Unstoppable - The Score Alternate Identity: Marcus "The Iron Horse" Dumont (Public) Birthplace: Vibora Bay Residence: Weston District, Viboary Bay Base of Operations: Weston District, Vibora Bay, Occupation: Celebrity Hero, former Middle-Weight Boxer Affiliations: None Family: Michael Dumont (Father, deceased), Gabrielle Dumont (Mother, deceased), James Dumont (24, younger brother, attends University of Florida Vibora Bay), Nana Dee (Maternal grandmother, retired) Description: Age: 29 (DoB: 1990, August 10th) Gender: Male Ethnicity: African-American Height: 6'3'' / [God of Iron] 7' Weight: 167 lbs. / [God of Iron] 1.336 lbs. Eyes: Black / [God of Iron] Metallic black Hair: Black, shaved bald Tall and strong, Marcus' physique clearly shows off his history as a former professional boxer. Standing at 6'3'' and 167 lbs. of muscle, he is not easily intimidated of stopped. Despite his size and muscles, he is lean and athletic, the kind to dance around other, heavier boxers. His black hair is usually shaved bald, with a neatly trimmed black beard. He tends to wear dark red dress shirts and black slacks, often with a black tie. As Cheval, Marcus wears a dark red and black bodysuit, which leaves his arms and face exposed. While primarily dark red, the suit is black on his sides, from under his arms and stretching to his feet, where he wears black boots with dark red soles. The upper part of the costume is in a black down pointing triangle that reaches his solar plexus, leaving a red stripe between the black triangle and the black parts of the costume on his side. When ridden by Ogoun, Marcus grows in size to 7', his weight increasing to 1.336 lbs. His skin becomes metallic, like iron, and his eyes turn completely white. His beard becomes metallic, while remaining black. If he is wearing his costume, it grows to his size to continue being a perfect fit. He bulks up considerably, becoming even more muscular than normal. History: Marcus Dumont was born to Michael and Grabielle Dumont in Vibora Bays Weston District. While his parents did all they could to provide for their son, his grandmother Nana Dee took care of the young Marcus. A firm believer in the loa, Nana Dee told the young Marcus, and later his younger brother John, stories of the loa, their actions and their beliefs. To the young boys, it seemed like it were but fairy tales, but part of it stuck, particularly the tales of Papa Legba and Ogoun. While their parents loved both sons, the family could barely afford more than survival, and Marcus dreamed of one day becoming rich, so he could provide for his family, the way they had taken care of him. Where Marcus was strong and fast, John was clearly the smarter son. Easily bullied, John relied on Marcus to defend him, a task that the older brother took up with no complaint. The brothers loved each other dearly, that much was true. Everything came tumbling down when Michael and Gabrielle died in a car accident 2009. While Marcus had already moved out, he took John in, and took up boxing to provide for his younger brother and pay his college tuition. Marcus had long since accepted that his brother had a much greater chance of becoming someone, but he could at least do the one thing he knew how: Use his fists. Marcus quickly proved to be a natural. Marcus "The Iron Horse" Dumont rose through the ranks, earning greater and greater prizes, becoming well known in Weston, his fame slowly spreading through the rest of Vibora Bay. Marcus was happy. He was finally making something of himself, and he could take care of his brother. . Marcus discovered a fondness for rum, one that some thought might prove troublesome, even if he did not turn to alcoholism. Then, hurricane Michael hit Vibora Bay. John disappeared in the chaos, with Marcus frantically searching the streets for weeks to find his brother in the aftermath. He hunted every rumor, every path he could. He had to find John, he was sure that he was out there somewhere. Destitute and stressed, his fondness of rum slowly grew, and Marcus was rarely seen without a bottle of rum on his person during this time. One dark evening, he finally found him. The Mayombe, a sinister cult devoted to the darker sides of the loa, had used the chaos of the hurricane's arrival to make their way into Vibora Bay. Fading in power, now but a shadow of what she once was, the cult's leader, Lady Mamba, sought to commune with the loa Dinclinsin and Mademoiselle Charlotte in a bid to restore herself. To do so, they had prepared a sacrifice: John Dumont. As the Mayombe sang to the loa, Marcus acted to save his brother. He fought his way through cultists as best as he could, until he finally broke under their numbers, and was thrown into the interrupted ritual. Lady Mamba was delighted. Another sacrifice. The ritual resumed, the song continued, and Marcus remembered Nana Dee's teachings. He sang out to Papa Legba. Suddenly, he was elsewhere. Standing at the crossroads, he saw an old man with a crutch and a wide-brimmed hand. The old man removed the pipe from his mouth, and blew smoke rings. He asked why Marcus had sung out to him. He asked what he wanted. He asked what Marcus would offer. Marcus needed help. He needed the power to save his brother. He needed the power to stop the Mayombe. And he offered a bottle of rum, held high before Papa Legba. The old man smiled, waved his hand and called forth a man with a sword, dressed in a red sash: Ogoun. For a short time, they talked. Marcus would become Ogoun's cheval, being ridden by the loa in return for great power. Great power that he would use to do good. Marcus accepted. He had to save his brother. Marcus returned to the ritual, but something was different. He could feel the presence of Ogoun, and his body was far heavier than before. He was iron, he was covered in iron, and Ogoun pushed him on. With power far beyond what he had ever experienced before, Marcus fought the Mayombe, freeing his brother. As Cottonmouth the serpent man joined the fray, the battle spilled into the streets of Vibora Bay. Through power and skill, Marcus prevailed. His brother was saved. The Mayombe was pushed back, for now. As he stood victorious, his powers faded, and soon, he was recognized as the Iron Horse. He became an instant celebrity, revelling in his newfound fame. Sponsorships and more came through, and Marcus thought he had it made. He could provide for his brother and himself. He was barred from boxing, since no one knew if powers would resurface and give him an edge, but who cared? He stayed in Weston, he stayed in touch with the people on the street, he gave back to the community, and he had a good time. Three weeks after the fight, the voice started talking to him. Ogoun was not done with Marcus yet. He was his cheval, and there more good to be done in the world. Marcus found the powers that he had briefly possessed returned. He required little persuasion from Ogoun. As Cheval, he would fight for the people. Personality & Motivation: Friendly and affable, Marcus Dupont does much to combat his initial appearance as that of a muscular thug with his behavior. He is good with fans and kids alike, the two categories often overlapping, treating them with respect and talking to them as equals. Dedicated to his family and community, Marcus is determined protect everyone that he can. A former boxer, Marcus used to win over the crowd with his showmanship, which he continues to display even as the hero Cheval. Marcus' drive to be a hero comes from multiple sources. First and foremost, he wishes to protect his community. This is driven both by his own personal belief in protecting others when he can, as well as a constant push by Ogoun to use the powers he has been granted for justice. Having used his deeds to become a celebrity, Marcus has found himself driven to fight on for the sake of his fans, those that believe that he will show up to save the day, and, of course, the wealth that he has begun to amass from various endorsement contracts and the like. While he is aware of the contradictions and is determined not to let his newfound fame and wealth change him, time will tell if a he will succeed or not. Greatly dedicated to his younger brother James, Marcus first started boxing to support his studies, and still uses a sizeable amount of his wealth to take care of his brother, letting him pursue his dreams. Powers & Tactics: Marcus is a boxer at heart. His initial solution to most problems are to try to punch them, usually to great effect, given his powers. Given his near indestructible body, he will usually try to protect others, placing himself between them and blows, pushing them out of the way, or simply trying to take down an opponent before they can reach others. While often a bit of a showman, and known for showboating, Cheval will drop all pretense and fight without any showmanship, should the situation call for it. Power Descriptions: Marcus' powers come from being Ogoun's cheval, being ridden, or possessed, by the loa God of Iron and Fire. To have Ogoun's power enter his body, Cheval must be able to speak the phrase "I am iron, I am covered in iron", upon which he rapidly grows in height and mass, his skin becoming divine, living iron. In this form, Cheval is impervious to most forms of damage, gains incredible strength, and his fighting skills are enhanced by Ogoun, allowing Cherval to fight at far greater skill than what he would normally posses. Cheval can channel Ogoun's power into a number of different strikes, which he had dubbed the Break Strike, Drain Strike and Flame Strike, allowing him to break through defences, drain foes to heal himself or create a burst of fire. Through the divine power of Ogoun, Cheval's iron body is even able to touch and strike ghosts and spirits. Ogoun's power has left its mark on Marcus, even when not being ridden by the loa. Even when in his normal mortal form, Marcus is able to see and communicate with spirits. Complications: Famous: Before gaining his powers, Marcus was well known boxer in Weston, with many believing he could be a contender, many still recognizing him from that time. Now, as Cheval, he has become known throughout Viboray Bay, both as Cheval and Marcus Dumont, which, while it offers benefits, can come with its own trouble. Hero of the People: Ogoun drives Cheval to be a hero, a warrior and a protector. He cares deeply for the well being of the man on the street, focusing on keeping them safe above all else. Cheval can be distracted by putting someone in danger. Iron Horse: Though Ogoun leaves Cheval in control when he rides him, the God of Iron will sometimes take full control, if his objectives differ from Marcus'. Knight of Shining Armor: When Cheval is powered up, his mass and weight increases drastically to more than a ton, which can cause drastic issues if he is somewhere that cannot support his increased mass. Rogues Gallery: Cheval has faced his share of foes, already starting to build an impressive array of foes. He has so far managed to earn the scorn of the Mayombe, Maitre Carrefour and the loa Mademoiselle Charlotte and Dinclinsin. Showboating: Cheval's tendency to showboat can put him at an disadvantage in a fight, giving enemies chances to prepare, avoid blows that could have taken them out or the like. You Know My Name: While he usually goes by Cheval, Marcus' identity was outed during the incident where he gained his powers, leaving him little choice in whether he wanted to keep a secret identity or not. 12. "This unit has located a potential location of the missing Terran student. The signal is faint, but it appears to be off world, closer to the Lia star." 777 looked around at the Terrans. The one called Nicole was already flying high above. They were distressed at the disappearance of their fellow student. Understandable, this was unfamiliar space for them. Far from home, potentially lost. It looked over to Sitara. Should it ask for approval to help the Terran students? Would that be necessary? Or should it simply act, for once? The distress made it clear, at least. Hovering above ground, retracting its appendages into its body, 777 entered its flight mode, hovering before the group. It adressed both Sitara and the Terran students. "This unit would like to offer assistance to the Terran students. Shall it move to the location of the signal?" It would not take it long to reach for the small robot. Not at top speed, at least.
  13. GM "Or just keep a hand on one wall, keep turning the same direction everywhere you go. That's basic, Morley." Joey was shaking his head with a grin, but gestured at her to go on. Val just stuck out her tongue at him, then walked after Moira, leaving Joey behind for a moment before he followed. Going down the forward path, the group were met with more leaves. A bit further down the path, it split in two, going left and right. Not too many options here. As they walked, Val traced her fingers across the right side of the wooden walls. "Its weird. You'd expect to be able to see something through these walls, right? But this is just so thick, can't make out anything on the other side at all." She shook her head, letting go of the wall and pointed forward. "So, what's next, fearless leader?" As they reached the end, they could see that both paths would soon after turn right, no matter which they took. Down the right path, they could see some shadows cast on the wooden wall. Two figures watching, while a third frantically moved their arms around. Down the left path, they could hear voices. Laughter.
  14. Connor is going to try to keep up with what is going on with lip reading (and who knows if Kombat speaks to himself in the kitchen?). Just learned that's a Notice-5 check, so rolling for that: 1d20+12-5 = 21
  15. REBELLION Elliot hadn't visited this place before. At least not as Rebellion. They got some odd looks, sitting out in the open like this, one in futuristic armor, and him looking like, well, him. All black, white eyes. No visible mouth, though he was slowly taking bites out of his sandwich. Avocado, mozarella, chicken teriyaki, tomato. He liked that combo, and not really something they served back at Elysium. He'd stayed silent most of the time, just observing the Meta-Naut, offering nothing about himself. She seemed like she wanted to do right, which was good, but heroes just appearing in Emerald still felt weird to him. The city wasn't supposed to have any heroes. Now they were popping up everywhere. Emerald Spider. Justice. Shrike, moving from Freedom City. Himself. The Meta-Naut. It was curious. Was it just a coincidence, or was there something more to it? "A comic book?" He almost didn't believe it, but he had heard weirder. "A cosplayer, then." That was good, at least. If someone was that obsessed with something, it could be easier to figure out things about them. But on the other hand... "What do the book say about Captain Crime, then? What can he do? Can he escape from the cops?" All depended on how well the cosplayer stuck to the character.
  16. GM Fire, pain, then darkness. Nicole's world exploded, then turned dark. When she woke, she was still in the mindscape, still inside Belios. There was a weight on Belios. In the short time that Nicole had been out, the mice been busy. They were crawling all over the armor, a massive pile of fur and metal that surrounded the robot. Could Belios fight its way outof the pile of mice? Probably. They were completely silent as they crawled and skittered, looking for any openings, anywhere they could get in. As Nicole came to, she slowly registered a voice. Someone that had been talking for a while, it seemed. "... -eady inside your grotesque armor once. It is only a matter of time before another finds a way in, and then, you're mine." The voice paused. It was a man. It sounded like one of the scientists. Guy. It was obvious, wasn't it? Of course it would be him. "The nanomachines give me completely control. Bodies that follow my every command, even after they cease to show any life signs. It is quite a feat, really." The mice were crawling all over Belios' visor, it would be a wonder if Nicole could even see anything. "Still, you had to go digging, did you not? And of course, Rita just had to let the little prodigy play. Guess she's regretting that now? But that armor? Now that was a surprise. But don't worry, we'll put it to good use, once you're one of mine."
  17. Opposed Intimidate: 12 IC reaction to that coming after @TheAbsurdist's post.
  18. GM Joey Grant whistled at the sight as he placed his hands on his hips, looking up at the thing. He wore a pair of cargo shorts, sandals, a long-sleeved white t-shirt with an unbottened red and green plaid dress shirt over it. His blonde hair was shaved on the sides with just a small faux hawk on top. He tended to be a bit obnoxious, but he wasn't exactly a bad guy. "That's something, huh?" He rubbed his cheek and looked over at Moira, echoing her words. "Yep, just for you, sweetheart." The other, Valeria Bourne, though she prefered just being called Val, was a bit more hesitating. "Its weird, isn't it? I mean, this is Freedom and all, and the Wharton Forest, but, c'mon, mazes like this doesn't just spring up out of nowhere." She shook her head. She had brunette hair tied into a ponytail that reached to around her shoulders. She wore a bright yellow shirt with a big red circle at the center of the chest, and a pair of jeans. Still, she liked a challenge. She wasn't about to back out just yet. "Well, what are you waiting for, Morley?" Joey piped up, crossing his arms. "It was just for you, right? Lead the way." Inside the maze, it would not be many steps before it split into three directions. Forward, left and right. Three paths to choose, there directions it could lead, between the leaves and branches.
  19. GM On the flying ship, the pirates fumbled through the fog, swinging their blades wildly. Pan's laugh drew them to him, with a multitude of curses thrown his way. Oh, they knew him, that much was sure, and they hated him. Still, even as they found him by his laugh, their cutlasses cut through nothing but fog and air, as they tried to reach heroes. "Get the women, too!" one of the pirates yelled, only to be felled by Pan's glowing blade. The ship moved in front of the other, getting dangerously close. It was only a matter of time before they collided, unless the man at the helm of the other ship managed to steer clear. The pirate steering the first ship had abandoned his post, joining the melee in the heavy fog. On the ground, the pirates started striking against the small dome that held them, again and again, doing all they could to break it.
  20. Forever Boy The ships moved, and it was, quite frankly, marvelous. Whoever was doing it clearly knew what they were doing, and the sheer power that was needed? Now, wasn't that quite something? Pan could see Aja cutting across the pirates, moving faster than they could follow, but even to her skills, the pirates were hardened combatants, or maybe just plain lucky. Luck often seemed to play a role in their victories, after all. With the thick fog rolling over the ship, Pan dove towards them, Pixie Dust gathering in his hand, coalescing into a glowing, golden longsword. He laughed as stopped next to the White Lioness, swinging his sword across the chest of a pirate, who fell back at his blow. "Come now, shall we show them what we can do?"

The flying Sky-Pirate ships are approaching from above. Ship A is about 50 feet away at this point, and Ship B about 500 feet away at this point. Both are about 200 feet above ground. Ship A has been moved, rather violently, in the path of ship B. Forever Boy has reached Ship A, flying over it, in melee with the Pirates. White Lioness is in melee on Ship A, Veronica just behind her. Ship A is covered by a fog, which doesn't affect the heroes. Salvo has created a weapon from the Horologium and summoned Belios, ready for action. A group of 5 pirates have appeared from a glowing light from the cannonball that managed to break through the dome. Ms. Thursday is in melee with 4 pirates of the Pirates inside a smaller dome, with Zenith on top of it. Thunderbird is on the ground near Zenith, currently not fighting anyone. Changing the turn order a bit, with Ship B delaying until after Zenith Since @Cubismo seems to be MIA, @Zeitgeist Blue and @TheAbsurdist is up
  22. Archer Connor was in position by the time Corona and Cline had reached the door. The design and layout of the buildings were so different from what he was used to, but he supposed that was simply the difference between American and old European architecture and design. He had an arrow nocked, but kept the string loose. No point in pulling it before necessary, if it even became necessary. Adrian looked younger than Connor had expected. Then again, so did Corona. He frowned. If it came to a fight, that meant Kombat would be in his prime, not slowed by age at all. Great. At least Cline made sure to stay out of his shot. As they moved around the house, Connor followed, making sure to keep Adrian at sight at all times. Especially when he started moving into the kitchen. Connor wasn't quite sure what they had said, or why he left them alone, but Connor adjusted his position. If there was a window to look into the kitchen, he'd look inside, keeping an eye on Kombat.
  23. REBELLION Contacts. Interesting. Rebellion made another note in the book, the shut it and placed it in his jacket with his pencil and turned back to her. They could go to the precinct, of course. But would it help right now? If they had Captain Crime under lock and key, along with his weapon in the evidence locker. But it was still early. There would be too many people at the precinct. It would be better to wait. And he was hungry. "Sandwich sounds good." His white eyes flickered to Meta-Naut, then back to the police getting ready to leave. His expression was barely there, difficult, if not impossible to reach. His voice as deadpan as ever as he continued. "Too early to break into a precinct anyway." He'd done it before. Probably could again. But some information on Captain Crime would be good.
