  1. Creating a Binding Band around the Fun Guy to try and keep him contained. Got Indirect 2, so might count as a surprise, and an attack roll, if you need it: 1d20+12 = 17, DC22 REF if it hits to avoid being snared.
  2. Bullseye! Or, maybe horseseye? Was that a thing you said? Probably not? Anyway, the Justice Buster had actually worked! The bad guy was pausing after the shot! Awesome! Quickly getting to her feet again, Robin stood up straight and took hold around the handle of the oversized gun with both hands. She had a moment. Take the proper time, take aim. This was just a big, crazy monster. What was the worst that could happen? "And time for some more justice!" she proudly proclaimed, squeezing the trigger to send another kinetic blast at horseface.
  3. What time? Where time? Anyway, since Justice here is on her very first outing, I'll keep with her only really having unarmed and the Justice Buster for offensive options, and otherwise only having access to the Justice Armor (once she gets her update giving her different armors) So, taking another shot: 1d20+11 = 22 DC20 TOU if it hits.
  4. Meant which power/attack effect, so I can do some proper toughness rolls. Also, gonna wait for @TheAbsurdist doing his Sense Motive and Notice before coming up with a GM.
  5. Yeah. Robin hadn't exactly counted on Jones starting to listen to logic now, but she had hoped, at least. "Bingo." The statement was a bit hushed, aimed at her find rather than Jones, but at least she was finding something. Reaching for the first hard drive, she quickly plugged it in, then started the transfer. She could stash this thing no problem, and get it out of there. Figure out what Neutron were doing here in the first place. With the transfer started, all she could do was wait. And try to stall Jones a bit more. "C'mon. I already agreed with you that we could take this place down, as long as nobody got hurt. Its not like I'm telling you not to do it, just wait until we can turn things off, right?" A moment pause, check on the progress. She could use this data to help Anna, maybe to stop anything further Neutron was planning on doing, too. And stall a bit more, get the transfer going. At least it was a high-end hard drive, so as long as the actual machine could keep up... "Just, let's try and turn things off first, alright? Do you honestly want to take the chance that your bombs create a chain reaction that takes out the entire city?" Could the things here do that? Robin honestly had no idea, but it was her best idea.
  6. Can I get a diplomacy roll?
  7. 20 Questions HellQ Guidebook Page Theme Music Origin Vignette: Terror Night Reputation table Vignettes: - Just One Voice - End of the Road
  8. GM The figure was indeed pulling out a gun, small enough to fit in his pocket. A hidden weapon that now rested in his hand, as he took the shot. A loud BANG!, and the bullet soared past the Seeker's head, but without finding its mark. The Seeker could hear a short curse as his target stepped back, away from where the Seeker would land. Hastily scrambling, the target started to pull other tools out of his pockets, while he dropped the gun to the roof they were standing on.
  9. The bad guys takes a shot in the surprise round: 20 And that's a miss! Let's see some initiative!
  10. @Avenger Assembled what are you using to attack the door?
  11. GM "Maybe I do, hero!" the man holding the gentleman barked, while the leader of the gunmen finally found his composure again. "Play nice, or you'll find out!" His voice was steady and loud. "No we don't, you damn idiot!" The leader of the gunmen were back on his feet now, and standing straight. He rubbed the back of his head, keeping his distance from the good captain, but without raising his weapon. "This is stupid. We're not gonna get anywhere. We're not here to kill anyone, so stand down before we have to, Mister." He blinked, rubbing his eyes while looking at Captain Cosmos. "What the hell is up with you? You're looking all strange." The gunman with the hostage lowered his weapon slightly, before raising it again, pressing it against the back of the gentleman's head. "Back off! Or I'll shoot!" There was something about him. He seemed bigger than before, even if just slightly.
  12. "Ew." Pan made his displeasure known as he set down Boddyflock's men, before quickly starting to wipe his hand on the green grass, which quickly turned another, not quite as lovely, shade of green. "It seems that your men do not have the greatest constitution, master Boddyflock." He continued to wipe his hands clean on the wet grass for a moment, before the Fun Guy started to convulse and claw and groan, obviously in agony. Pan observed, for the moment. What was this? The fungal growths on the man's face were obviously worse. Was it the air? Was it the different rules outside of the strange Fae realm that the Black Rose had brought them to? At any rate, he did not like it. And he certainly did not like that Lorenzo found it interesting. "Why?" He made no move to aid the Fun Guy yet, but instead directed his question towards Lorenzo. "Why do you find the man's agony interesting? What do you know, that we do not?"
  13. This was not going well at all... even the search optimization on this thing was a mess! Seriously, what kind of system had these people been using? How could they even live with something like this? Or maybe Robin just needed to learn the system? And she really didn't have the time for all that. Still, what files she skimmed through made it pretty clear that Neutron Industries was not good guys, at least. Made her feel better about them potentially bringing the whole place down. At least it would take them some time to rebuild. "Oh, man. This is weird stuff. Like, really weird stuff." She was speaking as much to herself as she was speaking to Jones. "Words like hyperdimensional radiation just sets off all kinds of alarms. There's no telling what'll happen if we just blow this place up." She looked around, fumbling with anything or everything she find to take a copy of the data and bring along. She had to get some form of data storage into her suit at some point, but she didn't have that luxury. "This stuff can phase things out of reality. If you just blow it up, you might end up taking out the entire city!" Alright, maybe not. She wasn't sure, but it gave her some time to look for some storage device, at least, and it meant that they could maybe try to shut things down first.
  14. Alright, Robin's gonna try and see if there's something nearby that she can store the data on, for later use. An USB key, a storage device, anything to bring the data along so she can research it a bit when somebody's not trying to plant explosives all around her. Search roll: 1d20+8 = 25 Of course, won't matter if there's nothing nearby, but its an attempt!
  15. Unless any of you decide to attack (and feel fre to do so), moving out of combat. And give me some sense motive if you try to understand the squid, and some notice checks too. Sense Motive DC20 (And DC15 for Aquaria due to Comprehend): Notice DC30:
  16. GM The leader of the squid fell, going completely limp in Aquaria's hands. The five remaining squids paused, three of them struggling with their weapons, while the others began to glow in response to Aquaria. Blue, red, yellow. Softly switching between the colors, though staying mostly in the blue spectrum. The three with the weapons eventually let them go, letting them drift in the water before them. It was not easy to understand them. The leader seemed to be better at communicating with other species, but they seemed to agree to surrender, now that their leader had fallen.
  17. Pan of course agreed heartily with Danica. These sweet drinks were like nothing back home, and even after spending so long on Earth, he had still not tired of them. A large drink, which was quickly emptied and refilled, even before they entered the theater. It was a coke, and he had come to enjoy it very much since he got here. He was almost blown away as they entered the large room that would show their movie. The screen was huge! Even bigger than he had expected, from what he had been told of this place! And he let his wonder and awe be known to the others of course, whistling and pointing out the screen with a huge grin. The movie was unlike anything he had seen before. Parks like that, he had never even been to one. Pa6n understood the rules of staying quiet during the movie, of course, but he couldn't help but ask the others if such parks were common. He had seen commercials, but never really thought much about it until now. Maybe he should make a point out of going to one of those some time? At any case, Pan was having fun, and he was not shy about it.
  18. The Stealth array is inherited from his father's ability, and is a physical mutation, actually changing appearance, or blending in with surroundings. Uncanny Mind and Physique are physical mutations, aside from the Leaping and Super-movement powers, which are Psionic in nature, being a form of very limited tactile telekinesis. I've updated it on the profile.
  19. Forever Boy Pan paused for a moment when Nicole mentioned the Crocodile. It was branded into the Horologium? What exactly did that mean? He knew little of the Horologiums, aside from their power. He had only seen a few in his time, and never up close. It had been far more common to see the effects of the Horologiums, as armadas appeared or wounds were suddenly healed, but he had never heard of one being branded like that. "The Crocodile is neither good or evil." His answer was rather short, for him. "No one knows its motives, but I am inclined to agree. The ticking cannot be good." And indeed, the clock continued to tick in Nicole's hands. He was about to suggest that they follow Corinne when she exited the building. She was powerful, sure. Much more than him. Still, they knew little of what was coming, even if Pan could make a guess born from experience. Especially when the guard shouted about communication being down. He recognized that bit, and the image on the screens just settled it. Yes, he knew what was coming. "Sky-Pirates." He couldn't keep a small grin from his lips, even if he knew that he really shouldn't be grinning. This was serious, this was really bad. The Sky-Pirates had done untold damage back on Neverworld. But on the other hand... "The Hooked Man's flagship is not among them." His grin widened. There were many great powers on Neverworld, but power like that of his fellow students? No, not quite. He was actually quite certain that these Sky-Pirates would be in for quite a shock. "Odds are they are after the Horologium, and anything else that they think is worth something. They will probably start with broadsides soon, then launch themselves." He paused, pointing at the approaching ships on the screen. "One of them is bound to have a device that is blocking our hails for aid." He turned to the others, holding up his palm. An image appeared above it, looking like somewhat like an old gramophone player, but with the vinyl replaced with a number of buttons. "It looks like this. If we can take it out. I doubt they stick around with just two ships if we destroy that device." He paused, looking over at Veronica. She was in charge, it seemed. So what would she choose to do?
  20. GM The leader of the gunmen were sent flying by the blow, slamming into the wall, and yet, he was still standing. Made of iron indeed, as he struggled to get to his feet. Or maybe he was just lucky? Who could tell? "Ah, what the hell is this now?" the gunman that had last taken a shot at Captain Cosmos sounded like he was at least starting to take charge of the situation now, even as he was as perplexed as the rest when the good captain vanished. "What kind of freak is this, boss?" He only got a groan in response. The leader of the gunmen seemed to be very much attempting to stop the world from spinning. "Fine!" the other one barked, raising his rifle to the head of his hostage, who had tried to crawl away. "Show yourself, or I'll blow his brains all over the floor. That what you want, hero?"
  21. Through the portal, Pan flew like an arrow, Boddyflock and his men in his arms, held tightly, but not so tightly that they would be injured. While Oswald was anything but grace on his entrance to the forest, Pan slowly descended to the ground and let the Fae down. "Apologies, Master Boddyflock. I had to act in haste." So, where were they now? A forest somewhere? But not one with entirely clean air. There were pollution in it, and he could hear noises in the distance, like cars. Had they returned to Earth, perhaps? Or another realm like it? Pan quickly looked around, a wide grin on his lips. He could see Penny, Oswald, the Fun Guy and the Fae, but what of the Black Rose? Had he escaped as well?
  22. "I'm trying, I'm trying. This thing's a mess. There's data everywhere, no structure or order." She kept working while she was talking. Oddly, it helped her focus. There had to be something here, some kind of way to structure it right and start a proper search. Start out with metaphasic radiation. Work from that. And remember to get some way to store data in her suit in the future, for situations like this. How could anyone even work at something like this? It was such a mess? "Its like you have this whole huge library of books and everything is just scattered all over the floor. Takes a while to figure out anything in a mess like this." She paused for a moment. It was a mess, unless she got lucky, there was no way she would be able to figure anything out from this. Maybe there was something around she could use to store the data on?
  23. Right, switching gears. Its more important to help Anna than to find out more about the killbots, so Robin will use her awesome computer skills to search for anything with metaphasic energies, radiation, etc. Computers: 1d20+11 = 15 Really not Robin's day for being awesome at computers.
  24. "So many colors!" Pan was ecstatic. There were so much to choose from. He had never seen anything like this, so many different things to choose from everywhere. Nothing back home was quite like it. He knew candy, he had tried much here, but nothing to this excess! And Aja offered to pay, too? Amazing! He had barely even noticed that Judy had gone somewhere else with everything that was on display here now. He followed Danica's directions, quickly starting to scoop up candy as she pointed it out. He wanted to try it all. "This is amazing! Thank you!" His lips spread into a huge grin directed at Aja, before he returned to the scooping. Oh, and the popcorn. They had to remember the popcorn!
  25. That's a hit! TOU: 23 Bruise and a daze! 20 - Captain Cosmos - 2HP - Unharmed 18 - Gunman Leader - Bruise (x2), Dazed 15 - 9x Gunmen Minions - Unharmed
