  1. This is supposed to be Ashley's fight, so Pan will try to Distract the Raven-thing as a standard action: Bluff 1d20+21 = 41 vs Bluff, Sense Motive or Will, whichever is the highest! the Raven-thing is dazed if I succeed! And follow up with a Move-action feint to set up an attack from Pan next round: 1d20+16 = 33
  2. Not enough space to really fly in here, and these demons were up close. Too close to put any real distance. Well, at least Nicole burned one of them in a moment, reducing their number a bit. Pan let out a laugh at the other demons' comments to that particular bit of horror. They were kind of funny, in their own horrifying way. "Really now?" They would finish what he had started? No, not if he had anything to say about it. He could hardly let Nicole take all the glory here, could he now? The black tendrils rushed towards him, but Pan was faster than them. A quick spin, and he was out of their reach, his feet just barely leaving the floor to give him some freedom of movement. "You are an ugly one, are you not?" The demon had moved close when it had first tried to reach him, so it was within reach. Good. Pixie Dust glowed in the palm of his right hand. "I mean, a cat and a toad, those I get! But are you meant to scare us, or are you the comedy act, meant to make us laugh until we give up?" Words as weapons, and blades as weapons. The shimmering glimmer that was the Forever Blade appeared almost instantly from Pan's right hand, hilt grasped tightly as he continued his whirl, swinging it straight towards the demon's throat.
  3. Pan is going to go for Mr. Man. Move action: Feint as move action to try getting in a surprise attack and get rid of that pesky dodge bonus: Bluff roll: 1d20+16 = 36 Standard: Following up with using the Forever Blade to strike at Mr. Man, using the Accurate Attack maneuvre for +2 Attack, -2 DC: 1d20+8 = 28 And that's a critical threat! DC29 Toughness if it hits, +5 if the critical hit is confirmed.
  4. Robin didn't spend as much time on Hero House as she used to. Honestly, she wanted to, it was fun and there were some great info and speculation about a lot of heroes, but actually getting in on the crime fighting on her own kind of cut into the time she was spending online. And there whole building and maintaining all her tools things, too. Still, she heard that Hero House was doing an AMA with some well known heroes, and she just had to get in on that. Anything that could help her get a handle on the situations she's been getting into lately. She had to be secure about it, though. Logged in at the university through a few levels of IP rerouting and VPN connections, a brand new user, too. And so, JustJustice logged in.
  5. GM "Necessity, yes. Then it is survival! But hunting for sport! For the thrill, to cause pain, to gather trophies? No!" There was a bit of thunder rolling in his voice again, but he kept it back, replaced with a big, wide smile. There was a certain enthusiasm to his voice, which sounded almost innocent. "Now, since I am sure that you are a fine gentleman, and if your enthusiasm for your dear cloud sheep is any indication, I do believe you are here to see my menagerie, are you not?" Oswald could almost hear an audible gleam from Charlemagne's wide smile. "Well then, shall we?"
  6. Trying to use Acrobatics to get around the Wall by jumping off the wall, getting over him and if necessary to get further, push off the Wall. Acrobatics: 1d20+8 = 24
  7. Really? "Really!?" Justice's words echoed her thoughts. The Wall was not going to play ball, and even if Kidd was grandstanding, he was at least on her side right now. So, he wanted to smash her face? Then he would need to catch her first. But fine, if that was how he wanted to do it, then that was how they were going to do this. No more trying to win him over. Robin was just done. She had to stop Blowfish, and she couldn't waste time fighting the Wall too. She would have to get by him, somehow. Thankfully, she did use to do a lot of gymnatics, and free running. So, time to get around the Wall, by using the wall, and probably the Wall too. Moving up, Robin jumped, pushing off against the wall, trying to use the momentum to pull herself over the Wall, to try and get ahead of him. If she succeeded in that, and it was necessary, she would continue to push off the Wall, hopefully slowing him down a bit and sending her in front of him.
  8. GM Away, Lament went! With a step, he was far away. With another even further. Once more, the Lord of Lamentations strode across islands and sea, towards the Commons, towards the great tree, and towards the Elf King. In but moments, he found himself standing by the great tree once more. Did he dare enter, to prove his worth to the Elf King? To bring back his tears? To save the children, and be the hero of the hour? Or would he turn and run, leaving the children to their fate, and the Elf King's eyes as dry as the desert?
  9. I thought I had responded yesterday, sorry! No roll necessary, the hole is not really moving and is rather big. Feel free to describe the effects.
  10. GM The screen flickered to life at Reina's touch. The scrolling data that had been showing all kinds of information about whatever the tablet were tracking disappeared, and the map rapidly zoomed out. A red dot remained at the location at the pair of Claremont students, but now a green dot was shown across the two, rapidly moving towards them, as if the device was tracking something else as well. Whatever the other dot was, it seemed to be approaching fast. They would not have long before it reached them.
  11. Forever Boy Pan smiled, shaking his head as he held the tablet. "Oh no, not at all. I am from Neverworld. I suppose it is in another dimension or reality or something like that. At any rate, it is most assuredly not the Earth, so I do believe I fit under the extraterrestrial grouping. Or perhaps extradimensional?" He had honestly not given it a lot of thought until now. "Still, it all depends on how fine this fellow's tracking equipment is, I suppose. If it can see a distinguish between such minor differences." True, he had not told Reina about Neverworld, had he? He would have to remedy that at some point, when the clock was not ticking quite as much as now. The spaceship crash was interesting, however! Maybe it was Reina that they were tracking after all. "Could you have picked something up from the crash? Something that they could track? As far as I know, the only thing they could be tracking from me would be my Pixie Dust." He waved his arm a bit to demonstrate, some glowing golden dust falling from his hand.
  12. "Hm, what makes this Gatsby so great?" Pan idly wondered, while Zenith plucked strands of light from the air itself. His book was just called "Peter Pan" not "Great Pan". Why did this Gatsby get to be named great? He did not know why, but it somehow stung his pride. It was fascinating to watch as Corinne worked. Pan could play with images, sounds, a touch, a smell, even a taste, but still, it was all just false images. Corinne was actually creating these things. Pulled straight from the air, between her fingers. Without really thinking about it, he moved his arm around her shoulders as she leaned in, holding her close. Anything is possible, as far as I am concerned. Just look at all the wonders of this world, just look at you. As you said, you make the impossible possible. And is that not a wonderful thing, in its own way? So, of course it is possible." He made a slight shrug. "Still, I would like to know how, and perhaps why. There must be some significance, why else would I have ended up in this world?"
  13. Some day soon, Forever Boy will learn that he's not the only one from Neverworld that's come to Earth! And there will be Sky-Pirates following in his wake! So, I'm looking for Claremont characters that could be interested here, preferably, but not limited to, someone that has some sort of relationship with Forever Boy. PL shouldn't matter too much, but preferably PL10-12. My original plan was for 3-4 characters including Forever Boy, but if the number of positive reactions in discord was an indication of the interest, I might figure out a way to run it for more, or do dual threads or something like that.
  14. GM The armored individual was silent. They looked at Pan and Aurora, but the helmet made it impossible to read their expression. "Just a hunter. Doesn't matter. You have something that I want. If those two fools could not get it on their own, then I will come for it myself." There was a moment, then the armored hunter seemed to move. The screen was replaced with static. At least, the armored hunter's intention had been clear. One of them, or perhaps both, had something that the hunter wanted, and they would take it by force, if necessary. So, the question was still on the who, and the what. Perhaps one of the remaining buttons on the tablet held the answer? Or perhaps they should try choosing a better battlefield, if the armored hunter was coming for them.
  15. Forever Boy Pan only had a moment to see the image appear on the screen. Someone in a dark blue armor. And then Reina dropped the tablet. "Oh! Careful now!" He was qucikly by Reina's side, feet on the ground to pick up the tablet and holding it up so that both he and Reina could see the armored individual. "Why, hello! So, what is the plot here? Why send those two men in armor after us?" Reina was not quite forceful enough to ask these questions, it seemed. That just meant that Pan would have to step up, and he was fine with that.
  16. GM Hugin cawed loudly, and bowed. "Then it appears that you know it all. I cannot make the choice for you. But maybe the Elf King himself holds the answer!" It flapped its wings, slowly taking to the sky again. "You have the price in your hands, Duke of Despair! Use it! Make your choice! And good luck!" Suddenly, the raven was gone. Whether it had flown away, or simply disappeared, seemed impossible to tell. Lament was left alone, and he would have to make his choice. Or maybe heed the words of the Grendel's Mother, and sacrifice the children? It was all up to him now.
  17. Aw, c'mon. Now Kidd decided to show up! And he was going to do this the only way he really knew how, from the sound of it. So, what now? The Wall wasn't about to let Justice get by him, not if he could help it. Blowfish's goons were shooting at them, just shooting blindly from the looks of it. Still, it was dangerous enough. One stray bullet, and then someone in here could be seriously hurt, and there were a lot of people on these stairs now. So, how would she get by without directly shooting him? Honestly, she had no idea! Robin was not a fan of fighting in quarters this cramped. Especially when moving up the stairs! This was just asking for a someone to fall down. "C'mon Wall! Quit this! We gotta work together here! Just stick to the plan!" It would probably fall on deaf ears, so, she looked around. What could she do? Was there anything that she could use, without having to attack the Wall from behind? Maybe move over him or under him somehow?
  18. GM Nothing was easy, it seemed. They would not be able to figure it out from that button press, at least. The next one did not seem to do much, at least for the moment. Then, an image popped up on the screen. It was a man or woman in an armor, very dark blue with lighter blue details. The helmet, shaped to resemble a wolf's head, with yellow lenses where the eyes would be, appeared directly on the screen. "Well... have you found the..." The voice was heavily modulated. There was an electronic effect to it. "Oh. I suppose you defeated those two idiots."
  19. Top right! Number 4!
  20. I've updated the Dreams complication with some examples.
  21. @TheAbsurdist Had completely forgotten those. All descriptors should be fixed now.
  22. @TheAbsurdist Added Mutation and Psionic descriptor to powers for source.
  23. The worst nightmare of both? How curious, that they just so happened to find themselves in the same area of this dreamscape, then! But the language that the Raven phantom spoke at the end made it quite clear that it had some special enmity towards Ashley, at the very least. A cold chill ran down his spine at the growl in the Raven's voice. It sounded too much like the Hooked Man. Did he have an effect on this dream as well, or was it mere coincidence? In any case, he did not like it. Pan's mind raced. The rules of each dream had to be followed. The last one, with Leroy and Mardo, that had been easy. They were scared, but it was a situation that could be easily managed. Beat fear with bravery and laughter. This was something different. Yes, there were fear. The small child that Ashley played watchdog for was crying, scared out of her mind. But this seemed to be Ashley's nightmare too, and she was defiant. The rules were clear, then. A confrontration! Best the source of the terror! "Everyone can fail!" he shouted at the Raven-Thing, but obviously meant towards Ashley as well. He was already in between Ashley and the phantom, but if the fireworks had not been enough, then... "Who cares? Rise up, try again! Be better! Is that not what being a hero is?" His tone was as playful as ever, a confident grin on his lips, despite the situation. A brilliant blade of light and Pixie Dust appeared from Pan's heads, grasped tightly. A quick feint towards the creature's side, one that would never connect, then moving swiftly, he pulled back to strike at the creature's face with a quick stab.
  24. Well, since it goes for them both, I assume the Raven-Thing is up close. Switching Tricks array to Forever Blade. Move-Action Feint to try and get its defenses a bit down: Bluff 1d20+16 = 28 Followed by Forever Blade: 1d20+6 = 25 DC31 Toughness if that connects. And hoping that the Forever Blade's light descriptor might do something fun against the Raven-Thing.
  25. Initiative: 1d20+9 = 29
