GM The first armored thug yelled in fear as Rev let out the blue-purple plasma, taking the hit straight in the face. If it hadn't been for his armor, he would be facing some rather serious burns. As it was, he was lucky to have some of the gold on the armor starting to crack away, while the force banged his head against the inside of the helmet once more. "You brat! That's freaking dangerous!" His voice was a bit less slurred, his anger and fear giving him another shot of adrenaline. Of course, he didn't recognize the irony as he punched with his bladed fist at Rev once again, putting more force behind this blow. He was panicking, he had to take her out if he wanted to get out of there. Meanwhile, the second armored would-be robber stared at Facsimile. You could almost hear the wheels turning inside his head. "Nah, my brother wouldn't do that. He'd... nah." Then he rushed off, using the same super speed at his brother to quickly try and catch up with him.

Armor Thug 2: Sense motive roll vs Facs: 1d20+8 = 16 Facs succeeds! More on what happens IC! Armor Thug 1: Sense motive vs. feint: 1d20+8 = 15 Surprise attacked! So yes, you very much hit. Fort save vs. Drain Toughness: 1d20+10 = 21 He makes that one! Then, Toughness save vs. damage: 1d20+12 = 18 That's a bruise. Somehow, he is still standing! Armor Thug 1: 27 - Bruised, Staggered. Toughness -1. Only one action Armor Thug 2: 24 - Unharmed Rev: 15. HP 2 - Unharmed Facs: 11 HP 0 - Unharmed Armor Thug 1 goes for a Power Attack at +2 DC against Rev. Attack roll: 1d20+6 = 21, so that's another hit so Toughness DC 29 with Penetrating 5. Armor Thug 2 super speeds after his brother.

Robin had been more excited than she had been in a long time. Finally, after so much work, she had completed the Justice Driver. Well, at least an early version of it. She still had plenty of ideas for future improvements. But, point being, it was ready. She could use her phone to activate it and bring out her costume, and it made her considerably tougher when worn. The physics of it all was a bit difficult to explain to anyone not as into physics as her, but hey, it worked. She'd worn the belt and even brought her Justice Buster gun to the Halloween party, but had stopped herself from actually using them. There'd be too many questions about how she'd known to dress up in that costume when she'd start her super hero'ing. She'd have to figure out the perfect way to make her debut, after all! So, Robin had gone to the Halloween party at University Hill in an Emerald Spider costume instead! She had agreed to help out at the university, and the kids loved the costume, so everything was going great. She knew she shouldn't have brought the Justice Buster, but hey, no one had figured out it was her yet anyway, and she was just too excited. And then everything went tumbling down and everyone screamed and started running away. She could see it, a great suit of armor with a horse for a head, screaming and smashing things. Someone taking Halloween way too seriously, or something worse? Probably the second thing. Everyone was running from it, and to be honest, Robin felt like running too. This was not what she had planned for her debut, but the thing was dangerous. And there were children there. Grabbing her Justice Buster from her belt, she quickly ran towards the scene... and wow, that thing was really big. She brought out her phone and started entering the secret combination while the thing noticed her, and started charging. Great. Time for the big debut. The last digit, and the message was sent to the Justice Driver. It said a single word in a monotone voice: "HENSHIN!" and then, in the blink of an eye, the Emerald Spider costume was covered by an entirely different one. Red and gold shined in the lights around them as she took aim with one hand. She was terrified, and yet, she smiled under the mask as she pocketed her phone. She couldn't help it. It was time for justice. "Hey, leave the kids alone Horseface!"

EDIT: Originally thought I could take 10 on initiative, but asked and was told not normally, so rolling instead! Initiative: 1d20+2 = 7 I'll do a slight rewrite, so she just transforms. Alright if I use the stuff below for her attack once its Justice's turn? --- Transforming with a free action, and taking a shot with the Justice Buster at the Monster: 1d20+9 = 28. DC 20 Toughness roll if it hits. And then she moves out of the way of its charge.

Alright, Robin was really starting to hate the Gas Man. Butterfingers, again. Right. She didn't have long with the pink gas filling the room they had moved into, and she had no idea what it could do in the first place. Sounded like some kind of sleeping gas from what he said. Really not what he needed right now. And he could be lying. He was kind of right about her firing the Justice Buster in here, but to be fair, she had managed to hit her target with every single shot. She needed to get some other weapon too. Somethin She looked down at Finnigan. The Gas Man was out of their reach, and going in here to save Finnigan might have been the right thing to do, but it still hadn't been smart. So, what should she do? Try and brave the gas, hope she could fight it, or find some other solution? It wasn't like they would have long, even as she started to back away from it. "How about we don't find out about whether you can die or not and just try to find our way out of here? Gotta be someone that can help you get back to normal, right? I promise I'll help, but how about we help each other first?" She offered a hand to help Finnigan get to his feet. "How long do you think it'll take for the kids to get out of here?" She tried to look around. Any way out. Maybe up, or another crack or a room they could squeeze through.

And just like that, Setho vanished. The cave was still swarming with pests, but he was gone. Honestly, Cassidy wasn't too happy about that. Even if he had been unaffected by the sandstorm he directed at him, they could at least see him, then. Now he could be just about anywhere. And he didn't like the talk about other methods. He had to catch his breath, which was a very strange feeling, since he technically didn't have any lungs right now, just sand swirling around in sand. The Devil's Storm, as he had decided to call his little trick, had taken a lot out of him. More than he really wanted to admit. At least Venomax had, somehow, finally convinced Sting to get out of there, but there were still more pests His sand form dissolving for a moment, he flew forward, reforming it in front of Sting and Venomax. It might not be necessary, but he didn't want to take any chances with the bugs. Raising his hands of sand, he unleashed another Devil's Storm out in front of him, attempting to cut through any pests caught in its way.

Alright, Sting's at least trying to get away now, and Setho's gone, so DD flies over to be behind Sting and Venomax and shoots another Devil's Storm at all the bugs and pests to keep them off their back: Attack roll: 1d20+11 = 28 DC 22 if they get hit.

GM The hurt thief stumbled a single step away from Rev, then decided otherwise. If she was gonna try to hit him, then he would hit back, no matter what kind of freak she turned out to be. His movements were surprisingly fast given that he had a very probable concussion. The street lights shined in his armor as he punched at her with the blade above his fist, aiming for her chest. Girl or whatever she were, he wasn't about to let her beat him to a pulp. "Just leave me a-lone, ya freak!" His voice was still slurred. He was probably not going to last much longer, despite his best efforts. His brother stopped for a second, seeming to ponder Facsimile's words. Was he right? Had his brother abandoned him? "You're wrong, hero!" He almost spat out the last word. "My brother's getting help! We're gonna squash you two freaks! No #¤%& vigilante is gonna get us!" With a roar, he threw himself at Facsimile, wildly swinging his small blade around, and attempting to stay close. Still, there was some doubt in his voice.

He stays close to Facs, trying to keep him from getting out of reach.

The dragon still amazed Pan. Even in this world of wonders and weird, having an actual dragon was still a sight to behold. He flickered back and forth around the green statue, almost as if he was dancing on the air, looking for anything that could lead to the fabled book. He flew near the dragon, passing by as Dio asked his question. "A friend is in need, Dio. Judy is scared out of her mind, and given her sister's reaction, it could be even worse." He paused for a brief moment. Had he spotted something further up? No, he had been mistaken. Instead he pushed further in, slipping in through the cracks of the metallic statue where Dio would not fit. "Being here is not much different from Earth for me. Yet another world that is not my own. Another adventure, another place to explore, but even when I see a new adventure, my friend comes first. Otherwise, what kind of hero would I be?" He would love to explore this world, but he could not ignore the fear in Judy's voice, after all. He pushed through another small gap. Still nothing, but he continued the search.

GM *CLANG!* resounded from the impact once again, with Rev's haymaker connecting with the armored thug's back, which was apparently more reinforced than his helmet. Whoever had made these golden armors really hadn't thought about the comfort and protection of their wearers. "Ha, servez ya right!" the armored thug slurred a bit, still feeling the effects of Facsimile's furious flaming fist. He tried to continue his escape, abandoning his brother completely.

"But... hey!" The kids were getting out of there, on Finnigan's command. That was good at least. But everything was still about to come tumbling down, and Finnigan was sneaking into the cracks and the Gas Man was still being annoying and to be quite honest, Robin was thinking she might be out of her depth here. She took a second and calmed herself. The most important thing was getting everyone out, right? Make sure no one got hurt? This would all have been so simple without the Gas Man showing up. She glared at him behind the mask. Shooting him and Finnigan might not have been the smartest choice she could have made, but he hadn't helped. "You're the one that made this into a fight! Just... Just go and get the kids out or something! Do you want to be the guy that let a building fall on these kids?" He'd wanted to stay out of jail from what he said. Maybe she could appeal to that? For her own side of things, Robin went for a dash after Finnigan. The crack in the wall was slim, but she might be able to make it. She made a few calculations. Where to push, where not to, then followed. And oh god it was tight in all the wrong ways, but she managed it, and sort of kept up. "Stop! You gotta get out of here! You'll be killed or trapped if this collapses!" She was starting to get a bit desperate here. Getting everything stolen back would be great, but it was more important to make sure that nobody died, right? "I didn't want to start a fight here, but you and the Gas Man didn't really give me much of a choice! C'mon!"

Justice isn't about to let Finnigan out of there, and maybe she can try and resolve things peacefully without the Gas Man. So, she follows, and rolls as discussed: First: DC 20 Knowledge [Physical Science] roll to try for a +2 bonus to going after Finnigan. I got Skill Mastery, so taking 10 for a result of 22. Escape Artist DC 10 to try and follow at enough speed to keep up, with +2 from above: 1d20+4 = 15 Success! Justice is closing in!

Boom, right into the wall he went. The gagging feeling was starting to disappear, so that was nice, at least. The entire building starting creaking and grinding, like it was about to come down. They really shouldn't stay here. And if Finnigan wasn't a zombie yet, then they couldn't just leave him behind, right? And the Gas Man had another grenade in his hand. This was really not the time for using grenades of any kind! "And a grenade is not going to make it better!" she shouted at the Gas Man, in response to his statement. Hopefully he would realize that and put it away. "You!" she pointed at Finnigan with an accusing finger. "You behave and stop fighting, right now! And you!" Robin spun her accusing finger right at the Gas Man. "If this guy and the kids get trapped in here with everything falling down, you're not gonna get any bounty, right? So, help me get everyone out! None of us are gonna get out of here if we don't stop fighting!" Another shake, and the entire place might come down. It might even be starting to fall apart already.

My bad, I misread it as DC 8. Fort save vs. Sickness. 1d20+7 = 26. Justice did have guts of steel, eventually And then she'll try and broker some peace and stop everybody fighting, again.

Was he able to do something like this anywhere, or just here? Cassidy really couldn't shake the thought. It took a lot out of him, it wasn't one of his usual tricks, but who really knew the limits to what he would eventually be able to do, anyway? Part of him enjoyed watching the pests being ripped to shreds or blown away, but he quieted that voice. He shouldn't take any joy in killing something, even bugs and snakes. He'd known death. He didn't want to know it again. Without a word, he turned his storm, aiming it directly at the Snake himself. He wanted him gone, and hopefully, this would be enough to actually hurt the bastard. Unless the sand continued to move through him, at least. At the same time, he started slowly making his way towards the cave's exit, making sure to keep his eye on the Snake the entire time.

Fatigued now! With Venomax and the others out of the room, DD is gonna turn the Devil's Storm directly at the Snake himself. Attack roll: 1d20+11 = 17

"GAH!" Robin quickly backed away, out of Finnigan's reach the moment he changed. This was just like in her Tokusatsu shows when a bad guy that masqueraded as a human threw away the disguise, and it still caught her completely off guard. The stench that spread from him was bad, but nothing she couldn't handle, at least. At least the Gas Man was caught off guard too. Switching her stance, she held the Justice Buster up, aiming it directly at Finnigan. He wasn't gonna survive prison? He didn't look like he was even alive. He looked like a zombie, for crying out loud. And Robin hated zombie movies! "Is that what you call surviving? You're a freaking zombie! Is that what you're gonna do to all the kids here, turn them into zombies just like you?" She hoped the kids would hear her, and hopefully his reply. Anything to get them out of here, maybe turn on Finnigan a bit. Then she pulled the trigger. Was excessive force even a thing when you fought against a zombie?

Fort save: 1d20+7 = 13 (accidentally typed 8, but I hope its fine anyway). Justice got guts of steel! Initiative: 1d20+2 = 14 Justice backs away, hoping to put some distance between them, and takes a shot at Finnigan. Attack roll 1d20 + 9 = 24 Toughness DC 20 if it hits.

"Well, that went over better than I expected." Robin muttered to herself. She honestly hadn't expected Finnigan to accept this at all. Maybe there would have been another fight, but really, she would much rather prefer that didn't happen. Still, the Gas Man was right, much as she hated to admit it. Returning everything was the first step, but as she said, they had to face justice. If she just let them walk, they would probably start another wave of pick pocketing as soon as they thought she couldn't find them again. And Finnigan still just rubbed her the wrong way. The way he spoke to the kids, calling them his fingers, that was just wrong. "Sorry, Finnigan, but even if you return everything, I can't just let you go. Its a great first step, really, and I know it'll look great for the cops, but, I gotta turn you in. If you'd just stolen food or something, then maybe I could look the other way, but you went for valuables. But hey, just look at a headline like this: Thieves have a change of heart! Stolen goods returned, amends made! Everyone will love that!"

Alright, that was freaky. Robin did not like Finnigan crawling like that. On one hand, it was just creepy. On the other, he was pushing it just a bit too much. If he was crippled, then how could he even crawl like that? She was about to reply when the Gas Man weighed in on the subject. Alright, sure. They got him. But what was that the right thing to do here? Finnigan and his gang had stolen all those things, but the Gas Man wasn't exactly a shining paragon of justice, here. "You be quiet." She motioned with the Justice Buster to the Gas Man. He had to have some respect for her gun now, and she knew better than to not watch him. Still, she kept some distance to Finnigan too. They both seemed tricky. "Everything's not as simple as that. Do as you're told, then its done. But you guys did steal a ton of stuff. There's living comfortably and then there's just wanting the easy path. You gotta give everything back. You can't just go around stealing from others. You did a bad thing, and you got caught. Whatever the reason, you gotta face justice." She didn't even intend to do that pun.
