  2. GM The flames spread out from Wilona, across much of the area. Luckily, the others weren't quite close enough to be caught in the fire, but they could feel the heat. If this had been real, the buildings around them would have been burned down and devastated, but as luck would have it, the current settings meant that they were still standing. That was also where the luck stopped. Both Omegadrones seemed completely unaffected by the flames, continuing forward instead.
  3. Reflex Saves: 22, 18 TOU saves, second one vs. full TOU: 27, 28 Blocked! @Spacefurry is up! 25 - Freedom Eagle - 3HP - Unharmed 20- Effigy - 2HP - Unharmed 15 - Invisigirl - Unharmed 15 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 13 - Onyx - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Omegadrone 2 - Unharmed 10 - Omegadrone 1 - Unharmed 6 - Nightscale - 4HP - Unharmed
  4. "All kinds of things. Detective work, fighting and teamwork, mostly." He picked up a fry and spinning it between his fingers. "But yeah, I know. I've been very lucky. And persistent." He put the fry in his mouth and chewed for a moment, thinking for a moment. "But that's pretty much me. What's your story? I know you got the whole tough strong flier power set and the miracle voice, but there's gotta be more to it than that, right? What's your story?"
  5. GHOST "Ouch. Really... Ouch." Ghost replied to Grim, but with a slight smile hidden behind his mask. He shook his head at Chimera's defense of Impact, but eh, didn't matter. They were both kids. He remembered the last time he'd helped Chimera. He was about to say something, when Impact went to kick Wordsmith. "Hey!" He stepped in front, putting himself between Impact and Wordsmith. "No need to kick anyone when they're down!" Freaking hot head kids... Wordsmith was a pain, but that was just unnecessary. "It's a slippery slope, kid." The goggles on Ghost's mask glowed as he stared at Impact, but his expression was, of course, hidden behind his mask and goggles. "So. They were fighting." Casper had his own ideas about why they had been fighting, but he hadn't seen anything. Without taking his eyes off Impact, he pointed at Chimera. "So, why do bad guys fight? C'mon, kids."
  6. GHOST Ghost grimaced under his mask, not that it really showed. Grimalkin might recognize it, but they had been spending some time patrolling together lately. "Really? People still don't recognize me?" He somehow sounded both annoyed and resigned to the fact at the same time. "I'm Ghost, and these guys... Yeah, I don't know the guy in brown, the other guy's Wordsmith, and you really wanna try to gag him in case he wakes up, alright?" He poked a bit at Cheat Code with his foot, just to make sure he was still down. "So... you guys got here first. Any idea why these two were fighting like that? I mean, Wordsmith's one of my bad guys, and this guy... didn't really seem like a hero or anything, y'know."
  7. If the drones doesn't beat Lulu's grapple roll, of course.
  8. FREEDOM EAGLE ∞ "A-a-are those O-o-omegadrones?" James' stammer was worse than ever, even as he was fully armored up, with his wings out, by down by his back. His right hand was morphing into an elaborate weapon, a laser gun with several barrels. He was already shaking as he started to fire, red laser blasts flying all over the area, but none of them hitting. "Oh no." Whatever the reason, he set off, flying straight up, putting distance between himself, the Omegadrones and the other students.
  9. Alright, Eagle starts the fight by blasting Omegadrone 1 with some lasers: 14 And he obviously can't hit the side of a barn, so he flies up to put some difference between them. @EternalPhoenix is next! 25 - Freedom Eagle - 3HP - Unharmed 20- Effigy - 3HP - Unharmed 15 - Invisigirl - Unharmed 15 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 13 - Onyx - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Omegadrone 2 - Unharmed 10 - Omegadrone 1 - Unharmed 6 - Nightscale - 4HP - Unharmed
  10. Alright, sorry for the delay. Freedom Eagle: 25 Omegadrone 1: 10 Omegadrone 2: 12 I know that Paper should go before Invisigirl, but I'll let her go first so EP can just control both at the same time. 25 - Freedom Eagle - 3HP - Unharmed 20- Effigy - 3HP - Unharmed 15 - Invisigirl - Unharmed 15 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 13 - Onyx - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Omegadrone 2 - Unharmed 10 - Omegadrone 1 - Unharmed 6 - Nightscale - 4HP - Unharmed
  11. You can initiate grapple with your Move Object as a standard action, then throw them with a Move Action, if you do it the same turn that you started the grapple. Since your Move Object is Perception Range, both targets would be hit automatically, and need to roll TOU saves vs. DC25. If the grapple succeeds, of course.
  12. Sorry for the delay. TOU save vs. DC24: 29 (I wrote Green by accident, but rolled for yellow.) COUP DE GRACE DENIED! Give me an IC @Spacefurry, then @Nerdzul is next! 32 - La Puma Negra - 1HP - Bruise (x1) 24 - Paper - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 11 - Nightscale - 2HP - Bruise (x1), Grappling Red 10 - Red Villain - KO 10 - Blue Villain - KO 10 - Yellow Villain - Staggered, Bound and Helpless ---- Snare (Injury x2) 10 - Green Villain - Bruise (x1)
  13. GHOST Moments after Chimera had asked about Ghost's whereabouts, Cheat Code appeared from out of the ground, being thrown out of the ground, before falling down on the pavement again, utterly unconscious, solid once again. Ghost floated out of the ground next to him a second later. "So, how're you guys doing? This guy doesn't wanna fight anymore." He glanced over at Wordsmith, stopping for a second. "Guess you figured out how to shut Wordsmith up."
  14. GM Wordsmith stood still for a moment, still unmoving, but despite his mask, his eyes seemed completely blank after the blow, like he was not quite there anymore. Then, even so slowly, he started falling backwards, before finally hitting the ground, his entire body collapsing from the force of the blows and being unable to do anything to even stop his own fall. For the moment, everything was silent around the three heroes on the street.
  15. TOU save: And it's... So Very Very Close To Him Making It But Wordsmith gets a 26, and he's down! Give me an IC @Sophistemon, and then we're out of combat.
  16. TOU save: 16. fail by 14, he's staggered and dazed. Give me an IC, then @Sophistemon is up next. 24 - Cheat Code - KO 23 - Grimalkin - 4HP - Bruise (x1) 15 - Impact - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 14 - Ghost - 3HP - Unharmed 13 - Wordsmith - Staggered, Dazed, Paralyzed (DC20 Will Save to recover at Initiative 23, before Grimalkin's action. +1 to save) 10 - Chimera - 2HP - Bruise (x1)
  17. @Spacefurry what attack are you using for the coup de grace? (So I can figure out the DCs)
  18. And yet... Fort save: 23 Sorry @Spacefurry! Give me an IC! And before Grimalkin's action, Wordsmith gets a Will Save vs. DC20 to recover: 19 This is the post of close calls! @Heritage is up after @Spacefurry's IC post! 24 - Cheat Code - KO 23 - Grimalkin - 4HP - Bruise (x1) 15 - Impact - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 14 - Ghost - 3HP - Unharmed 13 - Wordsmith - Paralyzed (DC20 Will Save to recover at Initiative 23, before Grimalkin's action. +1 to save) 10 - Chimera - 2HP - Bruise (x1)
  19. A paralyzed character got Defense 5, so yes. You might roll a 1.
  20. GM Under the ground, Cheat Code's body shook for a moment, and then, he stopped moving. At least his powers seemed to keep him intangible while underground, avoiding an otherwise rather messy fate. Wordsmith, despite having been the original target, was not faring much better. The moment he saw Grimalkin's sudden change, he froze in place. His mouth was open, but he didn't make a sound, even as the wrecking ball of telekinetic energy hit his chest. It barely even seemed to phase him.
  21. GHOST Casper moved around the man in brown as he cursed. The guy could clearly see him, but the concrete and dirt around them kind of prevented any of the muffled sounds he made from making any kind of sense. But, y'know. That was fine. That was cool. Casper didn't need to hear him to know that he was pissed off, and obviously in pain. Normally, Casper wouldn't like to leave people in pain, but this guy didn't care who he hit, so... Screw him. Darting around him, Casper tried to catch him off guard as he reached out to touch him once more, scrambling the guy's nervous system with another well placed touch.
  22. That's a hit. DC22 TOU: 30 Nope, he's just too tough! Cheat Code is hit with another DC30 TOU save on Ghost's turn, and rolls TOU vs. that: 20, he's staggered and dazed! Ghost is gonna take the chance and go for another attack with the damage effect, but let's start off with a Fast Feint, using Skill Mastery with Bluff for a result of 27. Cheat Code rolling vs. Feint DC27: 29 Well, that didn't work, but Ghost attacks anyway: 27, that's a hit. Rolling DC25 TOU save for Cheat Code: 11, he's DOWN. Wordsmith is paralyzed and can't do anything, so moving on to @Spacefurry 24 - Cheat Code - KO 23 - Grimalkin - 4HP - Bruise (x1) 15 - Impact - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 14 - Ghost - 3HP - Unharmed 13 - Wordsmith - Paralyzed (DC20 Will Save to recover at Initiative 23, before Grimalkin's action) 10 - Chimera - 2HP - Bruise (x1)
  23. That's already part of it. Your total attack bonus is +8 (otherwise you'd break PL caps)
  24. He can't meet that that Feint, so he's very much feinted, not that it matters much, cus you're scoring a Crit that hits, which means DC+5! Quick question, which doesn't matter much right now, but where did the +2 on the attack roll come from @MoonSimply? Green's TOU save vs. DC28: 25 That's a bruise! Next up is @Spacefurry! 32 - La Puma Negra - 1HP - Bruise (x1) 24 - Paper - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 11 - Nightscale - 2HP - Bruise (x1), Grappling Red 10 - Red Villain - KO 10 - Blue Villain - KO 10 - Yellow Villain - Staggered, Bound and Helpless ---- Snare (Injury x2) 10 - Green Villain - Bruise (x1)
  25. GM The new students might have expected something bigger or more outlandish, but this was what they were presented with. A nearby street near a bodega in Bayview, with cars and people moving around. For a moment, nothing happened, then a massive glowing portal opened across the road, and two Omegadromes flew out, chasing a wildly driving car that seemed to lack a driver. While the car raced down the road, the two drones turned their attention to the group of young would-be heroes.
