Just gonna roll a shared Initiative for all the villains, so I don't end up having to take every second action: 10 32 - La Puma Negra - 3HP - Unharmed 24 - Paper - 3HP - Unharmed 11 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Red Villain - Unharmed 10 - Blue Villain - Unharmed 10 - Yellow Villain - Unharmed 10 - Green Villain - Unharmed With Initiative rolled and the current situation set up in the IC, @MoonSimply gets to start the action! As we discussed, you got a Move Action and a Standard Action per turn, and you can either attack with powers or strength, or use any of the manoeuvres you got available with your Skills and feats.
  2. GM The man in green was already running, the woman in yellow followed behind him, when the woman in blue called out. "Uh, Green?" "What?" The man in green stopped, turning back to the woman in blue that was pointing towards the three teens across the street, including a catgirl and dragon boy. "Oh. Right." The man in red, who had been last, came to a stop as he reached the other, while the woman in yellow walked back. The man in green looked between the others. "Well, what are you waiting for? Don't let them stop us!"
  3. Little Mermaid II Mette paused for a moment, holding her breath. Then she was by the side of the woman that had just fallen, quickly checking on her. "She's alright!" she happily shouted to the others, kneeling by the woman to support her head. "What was that?" she asked no one in particular.
  4. GM The last little pig stood in shock, it's thick stubby fingers moving to its cut, holding it up... and then it felt forward, face first into the ground. It's very shape seemed to shatter into glass, leaving behind the woman that it had been before. Everything was quiet, the chaos was done. For a brief moment, as the Vanguard stood, everything was quiet and still.

GM January 12th, 2022, 4:30 PM Bayview, not too far from Claremont Academy The doors to a bank exploded outwards, smoke pouring out into the street, quickly followed by four people in respectively red, yellow, blue and green suits with chaotic white triangle patterns rushing out of the building at great speed, all carrying heavy back. "Come on!" the man in green yelled, waving for the others to follow. "Let's go!" The women in blue and yellow and the man in red all seemed to agree, and they all started running down the street, while behind them, people started moving out of the bank, coughing through the smoke. But, as luck would have it, these dastardly villains were not alone on the street, and they would soon be met with the awesome might of heroes-in-training!
  8. "Y-yeah. I t-think I time travelled. I don't really know what happened," James tried to explain, still stumbling over his words a bit, before adding a quick "Sorry." He rubbed his arm a bit as he took a few steps back, giving everyone some space, if they wanted to come down from the tree. "I d-don't think everyone here is from a-another time. Just s-some of us. It seems like it's p-pretty common with, uh, temporally or dimensionally displaced students here. R-right?" He looked at the other students for confirmation.

"I-I wasn't staring," he stammered defensively in response to Wilona. "J-just making s-sure that Owain w-was being nice." James had completely lowered his book by now and had started to look around.   13. GHOST "Sorry, should've warned you. He's damn strong." Yeah, that didn't feel great at all. Seeing Grimalkin being hurt by Rex was... yeah. Casper had to admit that he had probably gotten too used to that big guy, forgot how dangerous he could be when he couldn't be touched. "Alright, alright. Ground's not gonna hold him forever. Best bet is to knock him out. No need to get cute, just hit him." His entire body shimmered lightly with light blue lightning crackling around thim, just for a brief second, then he moved forward, flying quickly towards the struggling Thesaurus Rex. He passed through the beast, drawing a pained sound in response. "If that's how you wanna play it, big guy. Then we'll play it that way."
  14. GM "Bigot, racist, oppressor! You will not cage me or my kind, family, race, I will...!?" Thesaurus Rex revelled in his victory, but stopped in his tracks, grunting as he sunk into the ground. "No! Not again! I will... I will!" With a grunt of effort, the mighty beast began to struggle against the ground that held him, pushing against it, with cracks beginning to form.

"I hope I don't need to remind you that Mr. Wagner was here as a favor to you, and at considerable risk to the school, given the other party that tried to retrieve him, do I?" The headmistress didn't seem happy about the situation, but she didn't seem like she blamed Luke either. "We can't let this get back to the school. I hope you understand that, Mr. Landers. So, please. Do what you can to fight your friend."

He was dressed in a heavy jacket to keep warm, but didn't seem all that bothered by the cold despite it. "Hello?" He was holding a hand up over his eyes as he looked upon. "Owain, is that you? B-be nice."
  18. The best thing to do is first to build the character on this very forum, and then some of us will give it a look to make sure it looks right. Once the sheet is ready, it should be posted to the Character Bank, where the refs will look at it. But let's see about building your character in your other thread before that
  19. Hi Misty, welcome to the site! I suggest you join the discord here, where everyone is ready to help out with character building and joining the site. If you haven't already, you should read the Getting Started Guide, which includes what you need to play, a guide for, well, getting started, house rules and sample characters. As for your question about magical girls and weaponized cuteness, that is a very broad thing, but as with most everything else in Mutants and Masterminds, it probably just comes down to choosing powers, and using the right descriptors, though we'll need some more details of what exactly she can do. Do she blast at enemies while flying around? Do she summon a giant bunny to help her out? Can she create force fields, empathically influence others or something else entirely?
  20. To help @MoonSimply learn the system, I'll be setting up an action thread! Not sure what exactly yet, but since they want a team up, I'm looking for 1-2 characters to join them, preferably around PL8-10. Claremonters are good, but others are fine too! It'll probably be mostly action, but we'll see what happens.
  21. GHOST "GRIM!" Damn it, that was... that was not what was expected. Thesaurus Rex might look ridiculous, but he was still strong, way too strong. Ghost knelt by the ground, placing both hands down. The ground in front of him, stretching towards Thesaurus Rex, crackled with light blue energy, until it reached the ground under Thesaurus Rex. The dinosaur slipped into the ground, disappearing down into the street with just his head sticking out. Casper reached out to Grimalkin. This was one of his bad guys, he felt bad that he actually hurt her. "Are you alright?"

Ghost uses Selective Area for his Friendly Neighborhood Ghost array together with Snare from Ghost with the Most Array, meaning a pair of DC20 Ref saves for Thesaurus Rex.   23. Alright, that's just how I remembered it ending up. I'm fine with whichever.
  24. PL8 for the first year, PL9 for the second, PL10 for the last year. But like @KnightDisciple said, store bought or not, all this should still be devices, especially at the ranks that some of those things are starting to get. Otherwise what's the point of buying devices, if you can get the same thing for one fifth the cost with equipment?
  25. On another note, if Callie stays at Claremont, she can't hit PL10 until after the summer.
