  2. GM January 5th, 2022 Claremont Academy For almost a full year, Matt Wagner had been held at Claremont Academy's medical wing. Few knew that he was there, and fewer still seemed to pay him much mind. Luke Landers' friend-turned-cyborg had been quiet since the encounter with Nightscale and Watchdog, kept stable by the medical staff at Claremont, yet remaining unconscious and unmoving. Luke had been told that he was stable, at least. The second the day turned from January 4th to January 5th, Matt opened his eyes and smashed his way out of the room. The next morning, Luke was called. By the time he arrived, the headmistress was already in the medical wing, her eyes scanning the scene. "Your friend woke up, Mr. Landers." It sounded almost like a question.
  3. GM Thesaurus Rex stopped in his tracks as he looked at the bamboo that manifested around him. He breathed out loudly, and, as far as could be told from his reptillian features, he appeared to be quite annoyed. "That is awfully, exceptionally, extremely bigoted, prejudiced, racist! That movie, motion picture, flick was hurtful to us! We are more than beasts, monsters, creatures!" And just to prove himself wrong, Thesaurus Rex roared and spun around, slamming his tail into the bamboo wall.
  4. Reflex Save: 10 He's trapped! And he does not like that, so Thesaurus Rex attempts to break the prison! Give me a DC30 TOU save for bamboo cage, using the rank as it's TOU, and then there's these rules for your feedback flaw: I'll wait with Ghost's action for your saves.
  5. GM "You're lost?" Greystache asked. His tone was gruff, his hand still on his weapon. The younger officer remained by the car, but he had stopped talking, but he still had the radio in his hand as he watched. "It's way past curfew, punks. Being lost's not gonna cut it." Alexandra finally spoke up, quickly stepping in between the officer and the students. "I'm sorry, officer, truly. I was chaperoning these students for a field trip, and I lost track of time. We were just heading to Riverside. It's all on me, I swear." Greystache eyed Professor Macedon. "How about you teach these punks some respect for the law, then? And..." He paused, as he looked properly at Danica and her scooter. "What's that? What kind of field trip takes you into Southside, anyway?" He loosened the clasp on his gunholster, placing his hand on the gun's grip, while he took a single step back.
  6. Nevermore II "Lots of stuff in there. Probably whatever they've stolen." Charlie made sure to keep the drone in the shadows, out of sight. She'd be gone in a second if she spotted it. "She's all alone right now, looks like she's waiting. We should probably hurry before she does her little vanishing act." He looked over to Callie, then motioned with his head. "We get in there, I get her attention, you knock her out before she pops away? How's that sound?"
  7. "I am fine," Pan protested at Eira's help, but didn't quite push her away. He walked upright, staring at the scenery before them, a smile on his lips, as ever. "Ooh, that looks old. And interesting. Shall we go explore? I am sure that no one will mind if we go flying around it a bit."
  8. "Just... do it?" James sounded absolutely blown away, like he wasn't sure what Geckoman even meant. "I, uh... That sounds really... I don't know. I don't know how to do that, I think. I, err, I kinda got this voice in the suit that tries to tell me what to do? What... what if it tells me to do something that, that sounds like the right thing to do, but feels like it's wrong anyway?"

  10. GM With the young heroes leaving, Ghost stepped forward as the cops arrived, holding up his hands to try and defuse the situation before too many of them pointed guns at him. Out on the street, a number of the partygoers were being detained. It was, after all, an illegal party in a dangerous part of the city. Containment units were brought in for the two villains, being carried away, under the watchful eyes of people in the shadows around them.
  11. GHOST "At least she didn't get obsessed with you or anything yet, yeah?" Casper shrugged. The kid seemed to be handling it alright, at least. "But yeah. Stay away from red heads. Nothing but trouble, trust me." He shook his head. "Just... stay out of trouble or something, I guess? Get out of here, before anyone see you."
  12. GM Chimera's initial meeting with Freestyle might not have gone as the new hero would have wanted, but in the end, everything turned out much better. Of course, until a few days later, where she noticed a headline on a news page about Freestyle having escaped custody, because of course she had. Well. Every hero needed a nemesis.

"He'll rant and roar about some intellectual challenge or something like that, probably boast a bit about how much smarter he is than us, and then probably try to eat us, and..." At Thesaurus Rex's shout and charge, Casper snapped his fingers. "There it is! See? Anyway, watch out for his tail, mouth and claws. He's a dinosaur, and I guess he's smart for dinosaur, but he's not nearly as smart as he thinks, so... Yeah. Let's go."

  15. GM Thesaurus Rex seemed to puff himself up, pulling back before roaring at the two heroes. "I require intellectual stimulation, challenges, titilation! The beasts, monsters, kaiju were not enough! No, I require the challenge, effort, fight that only you can provide, my rival, archenemy, nemesis!" The giant dinosaur with the top hat pulled back. Ghost and Grimalkin could almost sweat it smiled, before it opened it's mouth and started running at them. "I will eat, devour, consume you!"

  17. No need to bold anything but power names and ranks You still need to add descriptors to the rest of the powers. Since they all seem to have the same source, you could add a note under powers that read something like this: And that should be fine. For readability, you should put your powers in alphabetical order, just makes it quicker to read. There's a few other things, but I'll fix that for you. You actually had 21 feats, but... I'd suggest buying as many ranks in the Luck feat as you can (PL/3, round down, so 2). I've removed two feats that's unlikely to see much use (Improved Defense, Improved Block) to make room for that, since more HP is just really good to have and given you one rank of Luck instead.   19. Notes from discord, so it's easier to find for you: You should fix the formatting on the the crunch section, having everything in bold makes it more difficult to read. Just bold the power names and ranks. Since her enhanced physical abilities (strength, dexterity, constitution) comes from her powers, I'd make at least some of them come from Enhanced [Insert Stat name] as powers. The cost is the same, but makes sense to have it like that, and generally speaking, any ability scores above 25 should be from Enhanced abilities anyway. For your Combat scores, you should write out how you get those scores. Like, Initiative should be "Initiative +14 (+10 Dex, +4 Improved Initiative". I'm not quite sure what you're doing with your skills. You can't take partial ranks in skills, like you have for Language and Sense Motive, and all of your of your total scores seem off. Actually, I think I see what you did there. I think you've put the PP cost, rather than the Skill rank. You should just put it as skill ranks, so it should be: Acrobatics 4 (+14) Climb 4 (+10) and so on. And you don't need to note the Feats there, it's already listed under feats, but doesn't hurt to have it like that. For your Feats, you need to list what sense Uncanny Dodge applies to. For your Powers, you need to list the total cost, and you should use the formatting only the example sheet and you have to remember to add descriptions, like this for your Strike power: Strike 2 (Claws; Feats: Mighty, Split Attack) [4PP] (Claws) for the Telepathy power, you don't have to list the component powers like that, either buy each of them or just the combined Telepathy power. A few misc things: As it is atm, your Strike attack is at +8 to hit/rank 8 damage, which means there's no trade offs, so you should remove that trade off from the start of the sheet. Since you seem to be making more of a melee than ranged attack, it's much more cost effective to buy most of your melee attack bonus as the feat Attack Focus [Melee] instead of buying it all as Base Attack. 3 ranks of Base Attack and 5 ranks of Attack Focus [Melee] gets you Melee Attack Bonus +8, at the cost of 11PP instead of 16. You can do the same thing with Defense and the Dodge Focus feat, if you want to save some PP, just remember that at least 1/3rd of your total score must come from the Base Attack/Defense bonus. Fluff wise... I like it. Inherited family curse is a pretty great power source that can lead to a lot of fun storylines. I'd suggest aging her down to 16, though, since that way you get the full 3 years at Claremont, instead of just 1-1½, and as for Affiliations, Next Gen isn't really active site wise, NPC wise or otherwise, since all the old members of that group has long since graduated. You could add some more Complications dealing with the curse, if you want, maybe some to do with the cat-like short attention span. I got a complication like this for one of my characters that could be used as a base.

  23. GHOST Despite his mask, Casper looked incredibly embarassed as he floated down next to Grimalkin, looking up at the dinosaur with the top hat and the monocle. "He... he is not my nemesis..." he muttered to Grimalkin, before he shook his head and crossed his arms. "But... yeah. He's one of mine." Shaking his head again, he looked up at Thesaurus Rex. "C'mon, Rex. I thought we agreed that Kaiju Island was a great place to live. What are you doing back in Freedom?"

I am the great, the powerful, the unstoppable Thesaurus Rex!" He snorted once, breathing heavily at Grimalkin's face, before looking up at Ghost, losing all interest in Grimalkin for a moment. "YOU!" The recognition was quite clear in his voice. "The Ghost! My archenemy, rival, my nemesis!"
  25. "Wai-" Casper didn't get to finish the word, then he saw everything. The moment it was all over, he gasped and looked around. He was back. It was... It had been intense. That had been the Crimson Katana, right? How old was this kid, anyway? And... Yeah. He could see why she needed to be here. And she was gone. Of course she was. Just a cat left behind. Ghost shook his head, trying to make sense of what he just saw, before he knelt down by the cat and held his hand out towards it. "Alright, kid. I get it. I think. They made you do horrible things." Could she even hear him? He kind of thought so? "You wanna be better, got lots of guilt for what they made you do? Alright. C'mon out, and we'll talk. But quit the disappearing act, would ya? Don't make me show you up in front of your friends."
