Space Ranger III "We'll see," J'onn responded to Corsair, looking up at him with a grin. "My suit's not gonna stand out that much. Can always wear something over it, but gotta agree with Miss Knight. Maybe having some of us in reserve would be best? Just in case something unexpected pops up?" He reached up for some controls, shifting the angle of the Star Lance slightly, tilting it towards the orbital station. "Anyway, I guess we should decide soon, if we're gonna dock."

"Oh? A present for me?" Pan's grin shifted into a larger smile, as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "Something that you can show in the cabin, but not here?" He looked around, before leaning in to whisper. "I could make it so no one else could see, if you simply cannot wait."

The minis and cards they had stolen weren't even that expensive. Just... kinda regular stuff, really. Insurance should cover it! They didn't even grab all the good stuff, just what was around. Robin was in good shape. She exercised regularly, went running, parkour, lots of stuff, but she had been running for a while when she continued down the street. She still wasn't sure why she was doing it. Or how that weird belt and pack of cards had shown up in her shop, anyway. She hadn't bought it. Was in the back, where she had hid when the villains showed up and... that weird note? Looked like her own hand writing. "Put it on. Scan the cards. You'll know what to do." It was weird. And she was insane for actually chasing down the villains. She should just let some actual super heroes deal with it, right? What kind of super villains stole stuff from a comic and game store, anyway?

GM Time passed. Slowly. Agonizingly so. The headmistress stayed by his side the entire time. She didn't speak much, but Luke was not alone, at least. In the end, Matt was at least saved, but even bringing in technical specialists, the system that controlled Matt seemed to be intervowen with his nervous system. If they removed it, he would be worse off than he was before this. For now, the best they could do was make him comfortable. An artificial coma, until they could figure out what to do. He would be kept at Claremont in a secure place. Luke would be able to visit, but he would have to keep the secret. Hopefully, they would one day be able to help him.

Sure, when you went between planets people wanted to know who you were, fair enough, but going around different places on the same planet, needing to check in and out all the time? What kind of place was the Earth to be like that? Did all those little nation states really try to keep such a tight grip on their citizens? J'onn could only roll his eyes as Prudence made sure that he would get through customs without one of these "passports". He whistled at the sight of the bikes as Veronica approached them and asked. "Throttle, brake, steer? That about do it?" He grinned at Veronica. "Grandpa was a big fan, managed to get something kinda like this set up back home." Getting up on the bike, J'onn revved looked around, then grinned sheepishly at Veronica. "So, uh... how do I start it?"

Updated situation: Current setup: All doors are blocked by some kind of force field near the doors, they can't be even be touched. All signals are blocked. The entire mall is filled with people. Depending on the situation, they might make combat more difficult! Some kind of sickness, poison or virus are spreading by touch among the people in the mall. A group of people are unconscious. Near the entrance: Paper, Shadowborne, Outrider, Nevermore II, Multigirl Duplicate A short distance away from the entrance, around a corner: Nightscale has just been hit by Villain 4, who are now moving through the crowds. Multigirl is facing Sportsman near a toy store, standing in defense of a group of unconscious people. GM Luke rounded a corner, chasing after the man that had pushed at him... and he was immediately hit by something in the face. When he regained his senses after the blow, he saw a large man in a white hockey mask with red markings pointing to the center. He wore dark grey body armor and oversized, green spiked shoulder pads, though his arms were left bare aside from elbow pads and thick golden armbands, showing off his admittedly rather impressive muscles. Black pants, a crotch guard and heavy hockey keeper boats, with a large golfing bag strapped over his back, with several different pieces of sports equipment in it. He had a heavy baseball bat in his hands, now slightly bent from hitting Luke. "Shouldn't have burned my sister, freak," the man whispered, before turning and running through the crowds. He easily stood out amongst the crowds, but even then, moving between them would make it harder to attack him.

@Kaede Kimura: It seems like a sickness, or maybe some kind of poison or virus? They don't seem like they're intentionally spreading it. And rolling all the Initiative... Villain 1: 19 Villain 2: 6 Sportsman: 22 Villain 4: 27 I will let everyone change into costumes ahead of their turn, no need to take a Full Action for that (aside from Multigirl near Sportsman and Nightscale who has already charged into action) As Luke runs around after the guy that bumped him, he runs right into a sneak attack from Villain 4 at Stealth 38, which means his notice fails and he is flat-footed. Attack roll: 12. which means he just hits Luke due to the flat-footed situation. @Nerdzul give me a DC27 TOU save. He then moves away from Luke, pushing his way through the crowds. Space Ranger III J'onn had been polite. He had asked Vynn to not spin in the chair a few times, even saying please the first time. Then he had told him not to spin in the chair. Now, as he steered the Star Lance towards their location, he was starting to get ready to reach for one of his Ray Guns so he could make Vynn stop spinning in the chair... and then, he stopped. Finally. He looked over to Sitara and shook his head. "The Star Lance was my mom's ship. I'd like to keep it as is, thanks." "So, how about the two go together, then? Sounds like you're less likely to stand out, right? How's that sound?"

GM Holly's mist form paused, still spreading out to the area around them when Paper called out to her. "Yooooouuuu!" she all but howled, as she directed her rage at Leon. "You did this! You're the reason my brother's hurt! If you had just done as I said he would have been just fine!" An oversimplification, and probably completely wrong, but it didn't seem to deter Holly. With howling rage she threw her mist towards Leon, paper thing cuts raining down all over his body unless he managed to move.

GM The wolf yelped, struggling back. The blow had clearly hit hard, as the wolf shook it's head, trying to remain standing. It's lips pulled back from it's muzzle in a snarl, before stopping for a second, pawing at it's ear. Curiously, aside from the way it moved, it did not seem hurt at all. No blemishes, no cuts, no visible bruises.

GM "Oh." Professor Macedon mouthed, when the students started mentioning the ambient magic in both the storm and further in the cave. She looked worried, just a little, but was obviously trying to hide it. She looked out at the raging storm, which somehow seemed to stay out of the cave and frowned briefly, before returning to Heroditus' question. "It's, well..." Again, Alexandra seemed to hesitate a little bit. "Well, the Painted Desert's had some magic associations for a long time. Broken Crow supposedly had his his sanctum here, ages ago, and well, he was supposed to have been a shaman." She frowned again, before looking into the cave that the students seemed like they wanted to explore. "Sorry, I don't really know that much about it. My specialties are more around the Mediterranean area."

James pulled of his hoodie, while looking apologetic at the others. "S-sorry, but I kinda... I really don't want to ruin another shirt." He froze while he moved to pull off his t-shirt too, staring at Kensei's transformation and the armor that he was wearing with wide eyes. He seemed scared, at least for a moment, before he turned away from the others and pulled off his t-shirt. If any of them looked they would see a vaguely bird-shaped silver metallic plate between his shoulder plates, stuck to his body. While his back was turned, a silvery white substance started to spread from the plate and out across James' body, with the inside of his legs leading to a line up his upper body turning blue, separated from the white with red lines. The white substance grew bulky golden boots with red center on the front. Blue gloves that streched from his elbows to his hands, leaving his fingers silvery white, a white upside down A shape broke the blue at his waist. The blue that had been growing up his upper body extended up to his shoulders and continued to expand up to his head, covering it, though leaving his face visible. A somewhat bulky golden chest plate grew out on his chest, with dark red trim that separated it, and the upper right part of his chest left blue, with three white starts running up to his shoulder. Finally, as he turned back to the others, a golden face plate that no features visible grew out in front of his face, leaving him with glowing teal eyes and a mouth. No wings, not yet at least. "I, uh... maybe Sharaf or Tori should go first?"

Archer II Connor reached for his ear piece with his left hand, while he remained still. Don't move, don't get spotted. Not yet. "Boss. Got some woman with a burning mask and hands. Burnt my arrows before they touched her. Anyone you know?" The other end of the line was silent for a moment, while Connor nocked another arrow. "Sounds like Sister Blister, kid. Got all the standard fire powers, so stay moving, don't get burned. Pretty much a villain for hire, goes where the money is, but she's usually West Coast, so the money gotta be good here." Great. Bunch of goons, and someone with flame powers. Hopefully Merge was out of the way. Clicking a hidden button on his bow, he sent the signal to trigger the first of the two thermite arrows he had shot into the crowd.

GM The man leading the group pulled his hands up, shielding his ears from the sound while he cackled, even as the people around him started grasping their ears in confusion. "Oh, that's good, that's good! Birdie wants to play! C'mere, birdie! C'mere, let me show you what I can do!" He reached out and pointed towards the Raven, and almost instantly both the Raven and Nevermore felt a pull, like someone was starting to just drag all the energy out of their bodies.

Sorry for the delay here. The Whisteblower moves with Charlie. The Born Loser points towards Alek and Charlie and... DC20 Reflex Save vs. Area, then DC20/15 Fortitude save vs. Fatigue! Nevermore's saves: 12, but Evasion 2. Fort vs. DC15: 15 Just made it. Give me some saves, then I'll continue with Charlie's actions.

GM The headmistress looked at Luke while Luke carried Matt. She frowned, but otherwise didn't say much. Once they reached the infirmary, a nurse met them and took Matt from Luke, pulling him inside. The headmistress reached out and grabbed Luke's shoulder to keep him from following. "I can't promise you anything, Mr. Landers. We don't know what was done to your friend, but we will try." She stood silent for a moment, just looking at Luke, before she continued. "Listen... you did the right thing. You did good, Luke, but some times, it is best to let others handle the situation when something bad happens. Get some rest, I'll have someone fetch you when there's news."
