  1. GM Tik. Tok. The white was creeping ever closer. At the edge of sight, the horizon was disappearing into featureless white. Tik. Tok. The Hooked Man slumped forward, bound in shadow. His breath was ragged. "Nothing is right! Nothing is well!" He spit poison as he struggled to rise. His body was broken. His spirit far from. "Do you not understand? This is the end! The summer is over! The fall is coming! The story has happened before, and it will happen again! Again and again, until I win! As long as I live, I will shape the story!" Tik. The Crocodile grunted. It glared at the people below. The undending white crept closer and closer. Soon the ocean and Victori would disappear.
  2. Charlie took another bite of his burger while he waited for the responses. Luke was all in, Muirne choked and Leon seemed hesitant about the whole idea. Yeah, alright, that's fine. Sorta as he figured, then. Minus the choking on burger. Once done chewing, he placed it down, then held out his hands and started counting on his fingers. "1: Luke probably already told you, but we've scrapped with Cas and his crew in the past." That one was directed at Leon. "We won first time, second was more a draw, and honestly, if we're gonna have a shot against them we gotta be more organized." "2: The first time was reported, Cas was given a second chance. Nobody seems to care that he mind whammied Muirne, so somebody's gotta be in on his deal. If we can't trust the teachers, then we gotta trust each other." "3: Cas does not get to just walk away from doing things to Muirne like that. We might've worked together to take out those bad guys, but there's no way I'm letting that go." Charlie paused and looked at Muirne, then around each other, before his serious face faded and split into a grin. "Besides, the three of us works well together, and Luke's told me that you're good in a fight, so how about we see how that goes?" The last part was, obviously, directed at Leon.

    Heavy Mettle

    Pan looked after Eira as she dropped the villain and then flew towards the last monster. He dropped to pick up Apocalypsette, slinging her over his shoulder and turning just in time for the massive blinding explosion, and then it was all over. "Oh, not everything is bad," he exclaimed as he flew to the others, placing a hand on Ryder's shoulder, before dropping Apocalypsette by his feet. "Look, I brought gifts." He paused as he looked at Eira. Even in her damaged state he recognized that tone and that look. "Yes. I suppose we do." His tone was flat as he stared back at her, before turning to address the Eira, Nat and Ryder at once. "Do you need help getting somewhere?"
  4. Connor stood leaned against a wall, arms crossed as he watched the crew with some suspicion. He really didn't like to be in the spotlight like that. "So that's it. We went to investigate, someone sent a Centurion bot at us and it blew up. Seems like someone wanted us to stop looking into things." Terrifica could probably explain everything much better than him, probably had a bunch of theories already. That wasn't Connor's job here, as far as he was concerned. He wasn't some dark night detective or anything like that. "What's next?"
  5. Mette stared at all the water that Aquaria used to wash the Maero away and grinned. Alright, now that was something to work with! With a shout, she pushed off from the ground, leaping through air and landing next to the downed group of Maero. She raised her right hand, a ball of water forming in front it before shooting a stream of water with great force directly towards the Maero, hitting as many as she could.
  6. Moving forward with a leap to bring Mette up to flank the Maero. As discussed on discord, Mette can get three giants in a line, so gonna hit them with her blast: DC22 Reflex Save followed by DC27/21 TOU save, with Penetrating 6 and Knockback 6.
  7. Gonna spend a HP to double Space Ranger's Dodge Bonus, bringing his defense up to 29 and making those attacks miss.
  8. A few notes, in no particular order You've got the power level stuff here listed twice, both at the top of the sheet and on top of the crunch section. Should just be on top. Power Level: 10 Tradeoffs: None Power Points: 150/150 Unspent Power Points: 0 I'm guessing that the Combat Array, Physical Container and Sensor Suite are part of the Battlesuit. I'd indent it all one more, in case you pick up more powers. Personally, I'd array the Enhanced Strength as part of the combat array, saves you a bunch of PP. You use both PP and DP inside the battlesuit. While you don't have to label it as DP (and just using PP is fine), you should be consistent with using one or the other labels, to avoid confusion. You need to put a rank on the combat and sensor arrays (PP in array /2, you're allowed half ranks) and the Physical and Sensor Containers (PP in array /5, you're allowed fractional ranks like 1.2, 1.4, etc.) You need to put a rank on the Enhanced Feat for Quick Change. With Int that high I'd suggest grabbing either Jack-of-All-Trades or Eidetic Memory. What are the Enhanced Dex and Strength linked to? You probably won't need Penetrating 7 on some rank 10 effects, so you can free up some PP on those attacks and grab some power feats.
  9. Little Mermaid II The pig just sort of dissolved and turned back into the person it had been before? That was... that was weird, right? Mette looked down at it for a moment, then back to the wolf. They had to do something about the wolf, right? She was distracted for a second as Muirne screamed at the pig she was dealing with and, honestly? Yeah. Yeah, that was a good idea. "Zed! Coming in!" she yelled at Karla, then leapt towards the wolf. Mette drew in her breath mid jump and then, when she landed, she screamed right in the face of the wolf and the pig, pushing the pig back while the wolf held it's hands above it's ears.

As for @Kaede Kimura's area effect, the way we are positioned, everyone can see everyone else during the fight, but with everyone being focused on their own fights (or the pig), I'd rate that they're not looking at Muirne right now, so... just a save for the pig. Repeated use will mean more looking, though. Pig's Reflex Save: 11 Pig's Will Save: 25 NOPE! Mette moves up in front of the wolf and uses her Siren Scream, which catches both the wolf and the second little pig in it's cone area. DC22 Reflex Save vs. Area followed by DC22/16 Fort Save vs. Stun for the Wolf and the Second Little Pig Wolf Reflex: 25 Wolf DC16 Fort: 27 NOPE! Pig Reflex: 19 Pig DC22 Fort: 17, fail by 5, stunned for one round. @Tiffany Korta is next!   11. Space Ranger III "Nah. You're the sidekick." J'onn twirled the ray gun in his right hand around, bringing it up to take aim as Arryn raced towards him, before being caught and held by the emerald bands. "Freeze Ray." He squeezed the trigger, a chaotic white-blue beam shooting out from the gun before hurling towards Arryn to encase him in ice if it hit. Activating his jetpack, J'onn sent him flying back, away from Arryn. That should hopefully take care of him.
  12. Entangled, you say? Gonna shoot Cira with a Freeze Ray, let's see if we can layer another snare on top. Attack: 13 I doubt that hits, even with the Defense penalty, so I'll spend a HP to reroll (if necessary): 16, making it a 26 due to reroll! DC20 Reflex Save vs. Snare, and he'll be bound and helpless if he fails! Using move action to jet out of reach.
  13. GM "GET AWAY FROM US!" Holly was shouting at the top of her lungs. An impressive feat, given that she probably had no lungs at the moment, what with her being entirely made up of some scarlet mist. While Leon's paper surged around her, she moved and shifted within the mists, staying out of reach. For a brief moment, all of the scarlet mists pulled back into a humanoid body... and then they exploded out, filling a large area of the room. Those caught in mists started screaming and yelling, blood starting to run from their ears, mouths, eyes and noses.

  16. That's a miss. Scarlet Mist attacks everyone in the area, including civilians, with an area attack: DC21 Reflex Save to avoid followed by DC26/DC20 TOU save!   17. Space Ranger III "Got it. Hold on!" J'onn holstered on gun, quickly grabbing hold around Veronica's waist to hold her close. Going too fast would be dangerous, the jetpack wasn't exactly built for two, but hey, it'd work. Grandpa had done plenty of heroic rescues with just a jetpack in the past, no reason it wouldn't work for J'onn! Launching them upwards through the tunnel that Veronica was creating, J'onn poured on the power to move them as quickly as they could while the bullets ricocheted off the force field. "Nice one!" And, finally, when they were out of the wall and continuing up, far out of reach, he stopped, just holding steady for a moment. "That was awesome!" He laughed, just staring down at the people below while he started moving himself and Veronica away. "What was that all about?"
  18. GM "SHOOT THEM!" The man with the moustache shouted as Veronica reformed the dome into the long tunnel, then watched helplessly as the duo took off, the bullets ricocheting off the wall without doing much to harm her. As they disappeared into the sky, he cursed loudly, smacking the driver and starting to berate him, before breathing out heavily, sitting back in his seat and running his hands down over his temples. "Alright. Alright. Fine." He leaned forward, reached into the glove department and pulled out a rolled up piece of paper. "We'll just get the next one." The unfolded paper showed a map of the world, with several points marked with crosses.
  19. I don't know if you can power attack on a coup de grace since it's an autohit and crit, but let's just roll with it. TOU save vs. DC32: 29, that's a bruise and he's hurt, so it triggers the Fort Save to avoid KO. Fort Save vs. DC27: 18 The Hooked Man is defeated. He will, however, not be knocked out, though he is unable to fight. Give me an IC @Avenger Assembled.   21. Forever Boy "Eira Katastroff Natt och Dag!" Pan sounded absolutely furious as he called out to her. He moved out of the formation that Micah had created. Instead he was by Eira's side in a moment, his arms wrapping around her. "Enough!" He sounded desperate. "Look around you! Listen to yourself! This is not who you are! You can be mean, you can hurt others, but this? You sound like the Hooked Man! He's the tyrant, not you! Whatever else you may be, whatever else we may be, you are a hero! You are my hero!" Pan turned to the Hooked Man, and held out his hand towards him. His shadow surged around his enemy's body, tightening around him, keeping him in place. "Now, please. I got him. All of us together. We will stop him!"
  22. Pan moves to Eira's side and talks. Then he sends his Shadow against Hooked Man again: 29, that's a hit.   24. GM The Big Bad Wolf looked at Zhenschina-voin. If anything, it just seemed annoyed by her attack. It lunged forward, it's jaws opening into a massive array of fangs that bit down around her torso, before attempting to pull her up off the ground, effectively holding her in place as it started to shake her around like a piece of meat. The Third Little Pig squealed and grasped it's head, then fell to it's knees, before falling over to it's stomach. As Synapse watched it, it's entire body seemed to break, like glass shattering into tiny little pieces, revealing the unconscious older man from before. Aside from being unconscious, he seemed unharmed, despite the hits that he had been dealt. The small shards of glass dissolved almost immediately. The First Little Pig seemed annoyed by not being able to hurt Shadowborne. It pulled back a step, and then it squealed! The noise was excrutiating, almost paralyzing, even Shadowborne was caught in it. The Second Little Pig moved around the Wolf, making sure to stay out of sight from the rest.
  25. Well, Wolf was supposed to have gone first, but that's my bad! The Big Bad Wolf attacks Zhenschina-voin again: 22, that's a hit. Give me a DC29 TOU save @Tiffany Korta He uses Improved Grab to transition that into a grapple, so give me a DC39 Grapple check to avoid being grappled as well! Third Little Pig Will, -4 from Bruises: 10, it's down! The First Little Pig squeals loudly, which is an Area Effect Stun. Everyone give me a DC20 Reflex Save vs. Area followed by DC20/15 Fortitude vs. Stun. It affects Shadowborne too. Second Little Pig: Reflex: 17, failed Fort: 28, passed Big Bad Wolf: Reflex: 27, passed Fort: 22, passed Little Mermaid II: Reflex: 13, but she got Evasion 2, so still only DC15 for Stun. Fort: 30, passed The Second Little Pig sticks close to the wolf, but doesn't attack. @Kaede Kimura is up!
