  1. The STORMCROW "Rule number 1 of being a super hero, Vik," Charlie responds to her question about it's weird that they keep being interrupted by super villains. "Whatever you do, super villains are gonna crash the party. It's like they have some kind of sixth sense for when you try to, y'know, do anything other than go out patrolling." He probably shouldn't go into details about all the weird things that had happened to the Ravens in the past... better to answer Neko's question. "Well, we used to have a ton of snacks, but we all demolished that during the movie, so... there's the pizzas I got while the movie was running, and whatever you can find in the fridge. The pizzas could probably use some heating, if you want them hot."
  2. ARCHER II A fight, and a hole blown in the plane from the inside out? Could it be another of the drug mules? Connor shakes his head. He isn't the investigative type. Why does he keep ending up in these situations? Stepping outside, he approaches the fire chief again. "Seems like there was a fight in there, huh? Any idea where the people in the plane are?"
  3. GM Perhaps Haven is deluding himself. He had held a conversation with the Lion. He had hidden from the Scarecrows with it. Perhaps it is something more than what it says, perhaps it is something more than what he believes. Perhaps he is crossing a line that will lead further into darkness... Or perhaps he is merely editing a program. That is a thought that he will have to grapple with on his own. The Lion tenses as Haven reaches out. Haven delves into the program, further into the system, and it speaks. "All files related to the Ultio Project remains secured on the Red Planet above. Suit schematics, power source and target analysis. The only way to access the Red Planet is through the Wizard in the Emerald Tower." An image flashes before Haven's eyes for a moment. A man dressed in an all black suit, sitting in an Emerald Throne. His appearance is uncannily close that that of Max Mars.
  4. BOUNCE! "Aw, that's awesome, but don't worry, I can do all sorts of stuff too!" Mattie responds to Daphne. That's so interesting, how are someone naturally a mind speaker/reader? So many awesome people here. "You're absolutely right!" Mattie says in response to Carmen. She do have all her stuff to get to her room, but before she can get to it, Lynn is already there. After the first moment of surprise is gone, Mattie turns back to Lynn and grins. "Thanks Lynn! You're the best!" Lynn had told her some about where she came from, all the bad stuff that she'd been through, so of course Mattie has decided that she will do her best to try ti helpand encourage her and just do anything she could. Even a small thank you hopefully helps. "I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish," she says, sounding a bit sheepish. "The school back in Rumblefall only really taught English, and I'm not sure everyone in class even got a passing grade there, but at least they all had other stuff they liked and were good at!"
  5. Spaceman Bear... magic? Parker stares at Jack for a moment as he explains what he can do. He can actually become a bear. That is not the strangest thing that he has seen, but it is probably one of the most unique, at least. "Hi Alden, I'm Parker," he introduces himself, as the teen in green pops out from behind Jack. He seems friendly enough, at least. Michael comes in, and he is, as ever, a whirlwind, chatting up everyone at once, claiming how he'll outdo them all and everything. When he comes up to him and tells him to keep up, he grins and shakes his head in response. "Not everything has to be a competition, Michael. I'm sure we'll all do fine." Looking around the others, he gestures to Alden and Jack. "From what I saw last year, it's pretty much a tradition to tell what you can do, so how about we help out Jack and Alden, so they know what to expect?" The question is of course directed at Baz, Lawrence and Michael. "I can start, if you want to. I manipulate space." He raises his right hand and closes it. Suddenly one of drinks that Michael had been carrying around is in his hand. "The simple explanation is that I can change distances."

On the other hand, you can take actions to try to save her, which will increase the number, such as pulling at her, using science or powers, but the enemies can likewise spend their actions to lower the count. We will need to get to her to do that, anyway. Harming her will lower the clock as well. With both Rex and Madame Raven grabbing and holding her, the clock won't decrease, unless either end up unable to take a free action, such as if they are dazed.

  9. @Dracostern You get 10, not 5, since the Fortitude Save isn't dependent on your Force Field, but failing by more than 10 vs. Stun means an instant KO, I'd suggest spending a HP to reroll that save! As far as the Projection, as a psychic yourself you'd at least guess that the only way to get rid of him would be to overwhelm him with your own psychic powers in some way.

Mattie is freaking out, in a very good way for her, as she whirls around to look at Daphne, and then back to Carmen as she introduces herself and oh god she's a cat and in a day full of best things ever that has to be the absolute best thing ever! "Ohmigodyoulooksoawesome!" she takes a deep breath. "Sorry, sorry! I'll try to calm down, but this is just so exciting!" She is about ready to launch into a bunch of questions for Carmen (Does she look like that all the time? How does she get her fur to look that great?), but Iris' question derails that train of thoughts, and instead she holds up her hand. "Sure do! I'm in 306 with Lynn!"
  13. GM get them The Big Brain's mouth moves as he gives the command, but they all hear his voice in their heads. It is obviously much more for the intimidation factor than it is to actually give the order, as the Apparation moves directly towards Cerebellum, moving with a purpose guided by the Big Brain's will. Blue lightning crackles behind the silent being as it moves. It's movements are erratic and stuttering, like it skips several steps with each movement it makes. Is it quite there or not? It is difficult to say. It reaches out, placing a hand on Daniel's shoulder, and it feels like lightning courses through his body.

Too big a coincidence, but he can't really afford to pass it up. Still, he's grumbling as he approaches the plane, getting out his bow and a fire suppressant arrow. He's not a damn detective. That's the Ravens, so why does he keep ending up having to look into things like this? Moving in, he does what he can to put out fires without damaging any equipment. He knows a bit about planes, at least. Maybe that can help him find anything worth looking for.

I am not an artificial intelligence. I am, as I was made, nothing more, nothing less. I do not have wants and desires. I simply fulfil my mission." It looks away. "I am what I am, until something changes my state and makes me something else. If you are an user, then I cannot decide what you will do." It seems that it won't be quite as easy to be given consent or resistance as Haven would have hoped, and he will have to grapple with the moral implications on his own.

GM The charts on the screens are lighting up, showing immense psychic energies. ran away Even as Daniel pulls the helmet off, Iris continues to hear the faint voice, in the back of her head, whispering. thought you could hide Tracy is flailing and screaming in Parker's arms and then, she goes completely still, like she is unconscious. no one can hide from me As the voice grows louder, Daniel begins to hear it, alongside Iris. A voice from the past. A voice that the twins had hoped to have left behind. i am everywhere The helmet sparks once more and starts to smoke. A sickly, pale blue smoke. my agents are everywhere By now, Parker and Michael are starting to hear the voice, no longer a whisper. you will be mine again The sickly green smoke begins to take a shape, twisting and turning, a dark body with a glowing blue skeleton visible inside the shape. you belong to me Behind the skeleton, a massive head appears, a large dark pink face, with its features twisted into an angry snarl. But what is far more apparent is the massive brain that has spilled from its skull, easily as large as the rest of the head. you belong to the Big Brain
  21. Spaceman Everything is fine, until it isn't. Iris is screaming, the machine is sparking. Daniel and Michael immediately spring into action, moving to Iris. Parker is instantly by Tracy's side. She is still screaming, still struggling. The helmet continues to spark, even as the other two pull it off Iris. "Tracy! What's happening?" There is no response, she is flailing and screaming still, entirely unresponsive. "Michael! Daniel! What's going on with Iris?"
  22. Spaceman Noticing Jack's confusion, Parker shakes his head lightly in response. "Time gets confusing around Lawrence, don't worry about it." Plenty of things there to worry about if it came up, but nothing to scare Jack away on his first day. Turning back to Lawrence, he gives him a questioning look. "How is she settling in? I bumped into her at the arcade, but we didn't really get to hang out much." Something moves around on the ceiling, coming closer to them, but before Parker can turn back to Jack again, Baz drops in, and everything turns colder. Can Jack manipulate the temperature, then? Or do something more? "C'mon Baz, don't sneak up on people like that," Parker says, half playfully. It's just how the cockroach kid like to do things, but even then... "You're a bear?" he asks Jack, trying to make the situation a bit less sense. "Do you mean in the metaphorical or literal sense?" Honestly, you could never know here. Maybe Jack is just referring to his size, maybe its something else.

Mattie freezes completely the moment she hears a voice in her head, her head turning back and forth between the people here that she doesn't know to try and figure out who did it, before settling on Iris when she apologized to Renee. "Did you just mindspeak to me?" she asks, a slightly suspicious tone to her voice, before returning to the previous wide grin and enthusiasm. "That is so freaking cool! How'd you do it? How's it work? Do you gotta think real hard at us to do it? Is it difficult?" She is practically bouncing around Iris. "What's it feel like? Can you read thoughts too? What am I thinking right now?" All of Mattie's thoughts are, of course, all about how awesome and exciting this is.
  24. BOUNCE! "Lynn, this is a-ma-zing!" Mattie shouts from behind Lynn, as she hurries up the staircase after her friend. Unlike Lynn, Mattie is far less fashionable, dressed in a pair of well worn denim shorts that reach to just above her knees and a purple t-shirt. She has a purple and white flannel dress shirt tied around her waist and is wearing a pair of likewise well worn purple and white sneakers. Her short black hair is a mess right now, but she doesn't really mind. Mattie likes purple, obviously! She is carrying a huge, old br suitcase full of all her clothes and stuff that she had sent from back home, once she realized that she simply didn't have enough, pulling it up the steps one by one. "Just look at all those people! Do you think they all got powers? Do you think they can do something awesome?" Reaching the top of the stairs, she hurries after Lynn, almost bumping into Renee along the way, but managing to stop herself just before she does so. "Oh, sorry! Didn't mean to almost run you over, but all of this is just so neat, don't you think so? I'm Mattie, guess we're on the same floor?"

Spaceman "Hey Lawrence" A voice speaks up behind Jack and Lawrence, a blonde seventeen years old man that Lawrence would quickly recognize as Parker, even if he has started to add some stubble to his look from before the summer. He is dressed in a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt that sits just right on his somewhat muscular body, but the amount of luggage that he is currently carrying would probably draw more focus than him at the moment. Four suit cases, several smaller bags, a duffel bag... Behind him, a group of students that all appear to be new are starting to gather around. "This should be good, right? You can all find your rooms?" As they affirm the questions in various ways, he starts handing them back their luggage, before turning back to Lawrence and the big guy. He nods politely to his friend, then looks up at the broad and tall guy with the white hair. Parker isn't exactly the tallest student here, but it's still rare for him to look up at something. "Hi, I'm Parker. I'm guessing you're new here? Find everything alright?"
