  1. GM The jeeps and last motorcycle came to a halt, surrounding the golden transparent dome that Veronica had thrown up as best as they could with their reduced forces. The lead cursed again and shouted, pointing at the dome. "Shoot it! Just... I'm done! Completely done! Just get rid of them and we'll find the tablet after!" The rest of the tomb raiders looked at each other briefly, then raised their weapons and started to fire wildly at the dome.
  2. The bad guys manage to catch up now that they're stranded and all unload on the Create Object. Give me 3xDC21 TOU saves from the dome! Space Ranger shoots a Proton Ray at one of the Jeeps: 28 hit and crit! +5 to grapple! Grapple for Proton Ray: 41 TOU vs. DC30 from the jeep: 20 Gonna take a move action to throw the jeep at the other jeep: 17 That's a hit. DC25 TOU save for both jeeps.   4. Little Mermaid II "Why won't you just fall down!?" Mette was starting to get seriously pissed off. That pig was just standing there, taking her hits, shaking it's head and... then just getting right back to it. What the hell were these things, anyway? Something about this entire thing felt off. More off than people randomly transforming into fairy tale creatures should, at least. Moving forward, Mette kicked the pig in the face. These might be normal people under all... that. They really had to try to end this, but... it just didn't want to fall down.

  6. "See? No fear monster." Ghost winked at Gabriel, his eyes just visible behind his mask. Casper sounded more confident about this than he was. He was happy that he wore the mask. He was happy for Fleur. Really. But it wasn't really... well, it wasn't what he had thought he would be dealing with here today. "So, uh... any ideas for names yet?"
  7. GM Tik. Tok. The Hooked Man groaned. The Forever Boy's strike left him reeling, and then the automaton was before him, hands on either side of his head, squeezing. He was clearly in pain, his body making unnatural sounds as Angelic continued her work, doing anything but living up to her name. With a mighty effort, he pushed himself free, waving his sword wildly. Enough to break her hold, but not enough to actually hit her. "Ha! Flesh and bone? I am much more than that!" He stood tall, sword held between him and his attackers. "I am Hook! I am order in this chaos! And you? You are nothing! A soulless automaton! A thing!" Tik. The wave of white crept ever closer. The Great Detectives looked away from the Mad Professor. In the moment of distraction, he stabbed at them. And then they were gone. Tok. The Crocodile moved ever closer, standing above the Hooked Man's ship, observing the battle on the deck.
  8. Forgot Injury from Eira's attack. The Hooked Man recovers from his and gets to act this round, in exchange for a HP for Eira. He strikes at Eira: 12 and... a spectacular miss!   9. Space Ranger III Shoot them? Yeah, sure, J'onn was about to shoot them, and then... a Star Knight? And everything exploding into full chaos! The moment Arryn shouted for his men to attack, J'onn kneeled down and raised his ray guns towards one of the men. "Please, you're clearly the sidekick here!" He pulled the triggers on both ray guns, sending a pair of black rays filled with white lightning surging towards some of the thugs. Then, at the very last moment, they both changed direction and zigzagged across the room until finally heading towards Arryn. "Take down the big guy first!"
  10. Gonna shoot at Arryn Cia with an X-Ray: 21 Using the attack's Indirect 3 to make the blast dance around the room until finally (hopefully) hitting him, so it might catch him flat-footed! DC20 Fort Save vs. Tou Drain if it hits! And then he moves away from Corsair, to make sure they're not bundled together.

  13. Space Ranger III A hail of slugs hit J'onn's shield, flying harmlessly away. Alright, good to know that he could take those hits in case they came for him, but it wasn't something he was going to try again if he could help it. "Laser Ray." He aimed at the rider that had just shot at him and pulled the trigger several times. Red rays shot out from the barrel of his weapon, travelling in a chaotic, zig-zagging patterns and dancing around the bike before all converging all at once, causing another explosion. Adjusting the throttle on his jetpack, J'onn sent himself flying above the rest of the tomb raiders, coming down and landing next to the woman, already turning to face the pursuers with his ray guns raised. "English? French? Lor?"
  14. GM Another bike practically exploded under the rider, tumbling around as Veronica's magic blast blew it up. The rider was sent tumbling into the wadi, rolling around while Veronica managed to get behind a sand dune, out of sight of her pursuers. Three of the remaining pursuers turned their attention towards the Space Ranger, a salvo ricocheting off his faint force field, while the leader of the group shouted at them to ignore the flying man and to get the girl instead.

    Heavy Mettle

    People were running everywhere, everything was happening fast. Eira was pulling the girl with the guitar up and away, they were yelling at each other and... Pan honestly wasn't surprised at that. Nat had taken down that other monster and... someone else was showing up and attacking Ryder. Right, then. Total chaos and confusion, of course. Business as usual. For his part, the Forever Boy reached for a mic that had fallen near him in middle of all the confusion and fighting. Would it work and be connected to the music here? Who knew? It was worth a shot, at least. The Forever Boy raised the microphone to his mouth and shouted at the top of his lungs. "C'mon! Is that it? Somebody shows up to wreck the show, and you start running!? Stop and stand! Show your mettle! Show them that you are not just scared sheep, running because they tell you to! I am here! We are here! Look to the sky, look who is fighting for you! Look around you, see us here, fighting for all of you! We are here for all of you, and nobody will be left behind! Stand up, stand together! Show us what you can do! Chitin! Nocturne! Angelic! This cannot stop you! Everyone! Show them what metal means!"
  17. Using a HP to activate Inspire 5, with Pan hopefully shouting loud enough to affect at least Angelic, Chitin and Nocturne, and hoping to affect an additional 12 people in the crowds with the rest of the potential targets.
  18. Charlie almost jumped when the alarm started, but stopped himself. He was trained for this, he shouldn't flinch at a moment like this, right? Alek had made sure to drill him enough to be ready for any situation... and his time at Claremont was swiftly teaching him how to deal with anything else. "Got it, boss." That was one of his drones, but he could hardly blame Alek for using it, so he just accepted it, grabbed his gear, moved to a nearby corner and... Callie was in here too. Alright, alright, fine. He'd just focus on this corner right here and not at all on Callie geting changed right behind him while he was getting into his own costume. By the time Alek said it was time to get to work, Charlie just finished pulling down his cowl. "Alright, I'll take control of the drone and figure out what's going on." He worked quickly, sending the drone flying out. It quickly disappeared from view with a reflective surface, while he started moving alongside Alek and Callie.

Casper mumbled to no one in particular, having leaned back in the chair to just listen, without really having had much to add until now. He waved at Patriot as she left, smiling slightly under the mask. Seemed like a good enough kid, even if she was being a bit stiff. Could hardly blame her for that, though. "Wait, you're saying that a fear monster did..." Casper looked to Gabriel, paused and gestured somewhat awkwardly to Fleur. "That? Really?" Casper shook his head. "Alright, alright, I'll bite then. Just in case you didn't get pregnant from some fear monster, I gotta ask: Who's the dad? Completely fine if it's a secret and all that, but I'm sure we're all dying to know."

  21. FREEDOM EAGLE ∞ "I'm James Guthrie." The young man hesitated a bit, moving his right hand up to idly rub his left arm as he spoke. "I'm... I guess I'm Freedom Eagle." He looked at the girl's wings, he didn't seem scared or to dislike them or anything, more a bit intrigued, but he didn't say anything. At any rate, his attention seemed to quickly be drawn towards Luke when he focused and pointed out the library. "What's that? How do you know that?"

  23. Space Ranger III J'onn dove through the air, chasing rapidly after the group. He was grinning behind the visor, his hands down by his sides as he set into a wild swing, almost dancing through the bullets that flew all around him. Slug throwers, then? He figured Earth was more advanced than that. Lasers or something. Plasma weapons, at least. Not just slugs. "Way too easy." Didn't really need to know what was going on. These were the bad guys. He took another shot, but the bike swerved at the last second and dodged his Freeze Ray.
  24. GM "Maybe try to take out the flying guy too..." The leader of the group looked back at the jeep trapped in ice and the flying Space Ranger, before being distracted by the sound of an explosion. The golden energy hit one of the bikes head on. The entire fron of the bike exploded, sending the rider flying over it and into the sand, tumbling around and ultimately curling up. The leader of the group blinked and cursed, before pointing back and forth between Veronica and Space Ranger. The men on the bikes and in the jeeps started to fire, bullets flying all around the two.

DC27 TOU save: 16, which disables the bike and causes it to crash, taking out the rider! 1 round left till you run out of gas! 3 attacks vs. Veronica: 13 9 18, all miss 3 attacks vs. Space Ranger: 20 8 20, all miss Space Ranger shoots at one of the motorcycles with another Freeze Ray: 18, that's a hit. DC20 Reflex Save: 25, the bike avoids being frozen.
