  1. Late, late, late. Of course Jay was late. Again. And just when he had been picked to represent the Atoms at this whole... thing. The Doomforge? Yeah, he knew about the Doomforge, he didn't have powers when Omega attacked, but uncle Johnny had told him all about it, and it had been bad. Still, he kinda wondered why he had been chosen. Super fast, sure, but he mainly dealt in physics, quantum or otherwise, and, well... this was a Doomforge. Moving towards the conference room, he passed by Miss Americana and Harrier and slowed down just in time before he reached the door, coming to a complete stop. "Sorry, sorry, I know I'm late! I'm Rocket, from the Atom Academy!" He kind of wanted to shake their hands, but at the same time? He was late, and Voltage was waiting. But honestly? With these people here, what was he doing here?
  2. Nevermore II Again? Charlie couldn't help but grin at Callie as she raced off. Yeah, yeah, alright. She wanted a race, he'd give her a race. Grapple line fired, he swung after Callie, going into a deep swing and bringing himself high up above her then releasing and spreading out his wings to fly past her Callie from above. She was good, but she was using outdated tech. He would have to do something about that later, right? "Come on, I thought you were fast!" he shouted from above.
  3. ROCKET Jay felt like he should just place his foot in his mouth. Of course she'd already figured out some way of using that electricity discharge... and she'd been there already. Great, like he didn't feel like a newbie already. But alright, alright, he'd catch up. "Hey, I get that. Look?" Jay held out his hand. It was almost vibrating at super speed. "See? I can barely stand still!" The doors opened. The pair was already being scanned and recorded by a probably staggering number of security devices. The lobby to the Atomic Tower seemed rather mundane, to be honest. Some chairs, some small tables with various, mainly science related, magazines in stacks. The receptionist was obviously not ordinary. An android with a digital screen for a face, dressed in a standard blue and black Atom Academy uniform. The face displayed a series of emoticons, currently showing a great big =D as Jay and Melissa approached. "Greetings, true believers!" the receptionist announced loudly, with a slighty synthesized voice. "Welcome to Atomic Tower, home to the Atom Family and the Atom Academy!" It paused for half a second, like it was running through some processes, before reaching for someting under the table and pulling out a pair of badges. Primarily white, one had the tri colored atomic symbol of the Atom Academy with a black bee in the middle, the other with a black rocket behind it. "Security scans have confirmed that you are Melissa Bowles and Jason Wade. Welcome to your first day at Atom Academy! These badges will give you all the access that you need! Please use the elevator to the right to reach the Academy!" Jay picked up the badge and looked at it. A rocket? Yeah, alright, personalized badges were kind of cool. He looked at Melissa, then he was gone, standing by the elevator and waving his badge in front of the scanner on the door. "C'mon, I thought you were in a hurry."
  4. GHOST "Sure. If you got unlimited tries." Ghost pointed to the blinking display, before it ended and allowed them to open the door. Of course she was lucky. Figured. Hopefully that wouldn't go to her head. Ghost placed a hand on the door handled and opened it, revealing the stairs. He motioned with his head for Chimera to go first. She was taking the lead, he was just backup, after all.
  5. GM The second combination worked. Which proved to be lucky, since the screen had previously displayed 3 tries remaining after the first failed code. With the door now open, Chimera and Ghost was faced with a rather mundane set of stairs that led into the building. They terminated at the top floor, a long hallway with several offices on either side. They could hear muffled voices from one of the offices to the left.
  6. FREEDOM EAGLE ∞ An ice wall from out of nowhere? And a girl talking down to the Aliengator and trying to do something to it? James shook his head. He was clearly disoriented, trying to get his bearings. That girl, and whoever made that ice wall, they didn't evne hesitate. Didn't they know how strong that Aliengator was supposed to be? "Watch out! That's an Aliengator, they're crazy strong!" Pulling his wings forward, the Freedom Eagle soared towards the sky, quickly looping around and flying down over the Aliengator. Pushing his arms forward, he morphed both into a sort of long barelled high tech guns that sent lightning blasts flying all over the monster.
  7. Sorry, my bad! Freedom Eagle flies up and fires an electric blast: 19. 8. GM Beekeeper stared at Trawler and Nightscale with his mouth hanging open. "This... this wasn't what I signed up for. This was supposed to be quick and easy. No... No freaking dragons running around." His hand shaking, he raised his gun and took aim, firing at the giant dragon again. His shot went wild, flying far above Nightscale. Turning back towards Shadowborne, Red Death raised his gun and released another burst of red smoke. Still, even in her weakened state, Muirne was able to evade it. Cursing to himself in something that sounded vaguely Russian, Red Death smashed through the window on the building he was currently clinging to, disappearing inside.
  9. Alright, despite making his save, Luke freaks out Beekeeper here and he attacks Luke with some blasts: 11 And he misses completely. Red Death fires his gas guns at Shadowborne again: 14, and he misses too. He smashes through a window in the building he's on, disappearing inside. @Tiffany Korta is up! @Tiffany Korta, @Kaede Kimura, @Nerdzul everyone give me a Notice check 22 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Slowed 22 - Howl - 3HP - Unharmed 19 - Nightscale - 2HP - Bruise (x1), Def -2 until Init 19, Grappling (No Dodge Bonus) 16 - Beekeeper - Bruise (x2) 14 - Red Death - Unharmed 13 - Madame Raven - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Trawler - Bruise (x1), TOU-8 (1 restored at Init 19 each rnd.), Grappled by Nightscale, Bound and Helpless 10 - Nevermore II - 1HP - Unharmed 07 - Fearmaster - Bruise (x3)
  10. This was weird, right? Casper had decided to stop floating and just walk alongside Frost as he led them through the village. His whole white and grey costume was weird enough already, floating might freak people out here even more and... he really had no idea where here was. It was weird. He greeted whoever Frost introduced him to, but aside from a few attempts at responding with Pepsi, Casper didn't really make much progress. The way everyone talked to Frost, it felt too obvious to ask if they knew him around here. Casper looked up at the one eyed woman, and... yeah, alright. Not too happy to see him? Cool, cool, he'd deal with it. "Vodka?" he asked. When in Russia, right?
  11. GM "Come on, we're all gonna be playing real soon! Feeling good, right? Just chill and enjoy! I'm here all night!" Purple smoke or mist was starting to filter out from him, clearly visible now as he laughed loudly. Of course, both Luke and Leon had other issues to deal with. Purple Haze opened his mouth to say something again, and then froze, his mouth hanging open.
  12. Init rolls: Ghost: 7 Purple Haze: 25 Holly: 15 I'll do a quick GM post for Purple Haze, the @Spacefurry is up! Both @Spacefurry and @Nerdzul is affected by illusions that affect all senses. Everything is just weird now! You'll get to do DC21 Fort saves on your turns (with increasing +1 to your roll for each round after the first) to recover from the effect. 25 - Purple Haze - Stunned (DC20 Fort save to recover on Init 7; Flat-footed, -2 Defense, only reactions) 20 - Paper - 3HP - Affected by DC21 Fort save Illusion 15 - Holly - Unharmed 10 - Nightscale - 3HP - Affected by DC21 Fort save Illusion 7 - Ghost - 4HP - Unharmed

Give me an IC @Fox and I'll follow up. 28 - Shadowborne - 3HP - Unharmed 21 - Artificer - 2HP - Unharmed 14 - Aliengator - Unharmed 13 - Nocturne - 2HP - Unharmed 9 - Freedom Eagle - 3HP - Unharmed Aliengator and Freedom Eagle trapped inside rank 9 Create Object dome - Unharmed dome
  14. GHOST After he had dropped Chimera off at the roof, Casper moved towards the cameras, taking them out one by one as he moved through them, before returning to Chimera at the security panel. "I mostly just move through them and short them out." He shrugged. "Kind of a thing I can do, reach in and pull things out." He looked at it. He could do some of that, but... "Give it a shot, just, y'know... don't step right on those pressure pads."
  15. GM Once they reached the top of the building and got up close, it became clear that the roof was not as empty as it first appeared. While not everywhere, the roof seemed to have several pressure pads spread along it, particularly near the door. There were a few cameras as well. Luckily, both heroes could spot them and manage to move around them, escaping notice for the most part.
  16. Give me a Disable Device check if you want to try to break the lock, otherwise a Computers to hack it, or anything else you can think of. Ghost tries to disable the cameras: 15, they're shorted out.
  17. Ghost: 30 Alright, results in IC!
  18. Alright, the other guard isn't going to spot you, but he's noticed that his friend's gone, so... now they know that someone's there. We'll move into some more active combat now, so give me an Initiative roll.
  19. GM The man was pulled up and quickly secured on the ceiling. A short while later, the other guard returned and looked around. "What the hell?" No one in sight, he looked around, before reaching for his radio. "Jimmy, you there?" With no response, he flicked a switch on the radio. "Boss, we're not alone. Jimmy and Ben's gone."
  20. GM "What the hell?" The loud noise drew their attention. The entire group turned and looked. Why wouldn't they, after all? And there was nothing there. Nothing to make the noise. Of course, there was something else out there, hiding in the shadows... Waiting to strike.
  21. Nevermore II The plan was simple enough, but then again, they didn't really need to get too complicated for these guys, did they? They looked like small fry, but then again, that was exactly the right kind of people to get the dirt on the Ushers and figure out what they were up to. Knew just enough to be useful. Nevermore nodded once. Yeah, alright, he could do that. He wasn't a mechnical genius or anything, but he knew enough, and he had tinkered with the drones for a while. He stayed in hiding while he moved the drone. He'd be backup, just in case. Once the drone had moved a bit away from the group, Nevermore picked a noise from his library. Soon after, the drone emitted a the noise of a loud car coming down the street. Not too unusual, but enough to make them turn and look.
  22. OOC for this. @Avenger Assembled @KnightDisciple Combat won't start right away, but let's get some Initiative rolls along with your intro posts! Eira is in command of her army of automatons. I won't be rolling individually for them attacking pirates, ships, crocodiles and what not, but see them as a rank 10 effect that you can apply to various actions as a Free Action once per turn. It can be stuff that won't require rolls like using them to block off a group of pirates that's attacking or actual effects like Damage, Stuns and so on, as long as they make sense for the action. They will slowly be whittled down during battle, so I will, eventually, be lowering the effect. The vast majority of the Hooked Pirates will act in much the same way. Currently, there's an armada of purposefully unnumbered Sky Pirate ships that fly above Victori, sending Hooked Pirates into the streets below. The flagship is by the coast surrounded by four ships from the armada, pulling the Crocodile into the city with a giant golden chain. Eira is by the palace, far from the coast. If she wishes to confront the flagship and the Crocodle, she will have to fight her way through the pirates. There's several Sky Pirate Ships out over the waters. As Pan and Micah arrives from the sea, they will not be able to simply fly straight for the Crocodile or the flagship. To make things clear, there's a few major objectives here: - Protect the people that remains in the ruins of Victori - Free the Crocodile - Defeat the Hooked Man - Return home
  23. GM In Victori, where the Horror and Heroes collide and the last battle will be fought. At the end of a story that has happened before, and will happen again. How much time had passed since Eira had parted with Pan and Micah? Since she had gone her own way in this world of stories? It was difficult to say. Weeks, at least. Months? Maybe, but probably not. Pan's world was strange. Especially now here, at the end, when the tales were starting to break down around her. The sky was dark, in the middle of the day. Not a cloud in sight, but an armada of flying ships blocked out the sun. Behind them, at the coast, the greatest of the ships dragged the monstrous Crocodile out of the sea by golden chain, leading it towards what remained of Victori. As the ships descended, Pirates leapt from them towards the city. Their mouths and eyes sewn shut, they moved as if they were puppets, scouring the city for all that remained. The Crocodile smashed the great clocktower by the coast, sending the remains tumbling into the streets below. "What a marvelous creature," Frankenstein mused, as he witnessed the destruction. Eira, Doctor Frankenstein by her side and her army of automatons were all that stood between the people of Victori and total destruction. And yet, there was a bright light out across the sea, shining in the horizon.
  24. GM As Pan and Micah flew out, to be the heroes they should be, the Pixies were left below. They began to shine as they danced about, golden dust flying everywhere around them. As they began to dissolve into nothing, the dust whirled about, a bright shining light, ever expanding from the Wish Isle, on the horizon behind the Forever Boy and the Thunderbird. A wish for everything to be alright, a wish for everyone to be safe and better. And a wish for the sake of friendship. The last wish of Neverworld.
  25. Forever Boy "Let us go help Eira," Pan agreed with Micah's sentiment. Whatever words had been exchanged between them before they parted, he was sure it would be fine. Even if it was not, it did not matter to Pan. He had to save this world. He had to save his friend. Most importantly, he had to save the girl, even if he knew she could save herself. With a final nod to the Pixies, he set off, like Micah. Hovering by him, he could not stop himself from smiling, despite everything else. "Ready to be a hero, my friend?"
