  1. GM The underground hallway was brightly illuminated. It didn't take long before both Archer and Fascsimile noticed a few security cameras and point them out to Shooting Star, seemingly avoiding detection. The hallways seemed old. Featureless concrete, they had probably been here since the warehouse had been built, but there were traces of much more recent use, aside from the active cameras. Moving closer, the group came to a junction. One path continuing ahead, the other turning to the right, both ending in closed doors. They could hear muffled voices from the path ahead. Fascsimile couldn't quite place it, but there was something familiar about those voices.
  2. Archer II Shooting Star went first. Fine. She was bulletproof. Could take a few shots if necessary. With the others moving in first, Connor took care of keeping an eye on their backs. Just because they hadn't seen anything up there didn't mean they were alone, after all. It wasn't dark in there. There were few places to hide, but still, he moved as silently as he could, keeping close to the walls.

  4. Nevermore II Charlie had given El a quick response about the best kind of trouble, and that she'd get to meet the rest of the team, then. He was pretty sure she had met at least a few of them already, but hey, they could always do introductions later. Giving Luke a quick wave, he waited for everyone to show up and... well, it seemed like the whole gang aside from Shift was here. Pretty good so far, then. His ideas for this little group might work out after all. Not that he was planning on sharing any of those ideas just yet. "Wait, Muirne's hanging out with Shields now?" He really should've kept a closer eye on Shields, like they'd asked him to do, but... only so much he could do between classes, Grey Squad stuff, patrolling with the Raven, that whole thing with the Ushers and everything else... He was sure that Alek would get on his case about that later. Couldn't exactly let the others on all that, so instead, he grinned slightly. "You sure you're not just afraid he'll steal your girlfriend?" Yeah, no. This was much more serious. "Do you mean the Hunter Museum? I've been a few times. Security's alright, but not too tight. Haven't heard any rumors about any planned heists, but not like Raven knows verything." Or tells Charlie everything, for that matter. He looked straight at Luke, his mischievous grin returning. "So, what do you want us to do about it, Nightscale?"
  5. GM "Ugh, lots of people. I just told you, we'd had half a dozen offers." Thomas glared at Jennifer. "Like, ASTRO Labs talked to us just last week, we got an angry email from somebody at Bastion Technologies that wanted a response a few days ago... Can't stand those Bastion guys, they're not offering even half of what we want." Thomas shook his head. "Plenty of things that'd show its ours, but that'd be if they used it here, or, y'know, made it available to the public."
  6. GHOST "Yeah, I've, uh, heard of him." Heard the shark-man-thing bit, at least. And the killing for fun. Everything else was new to Casper. He frowned under his mask. Mad science on babies? That was just wrong. He kneeled down and looked at the symbols, making sure not to actually touch anything or do something that could disturb Kermit. "So he's the standard mad scientist turned monster type deal, then? Doesn't really sound like a magic type." Ghost looked over at Kermit. She looked so weird. "I might be able to help out." Focus his power into stuff around him, just needed to figure out what to go...

  9. ROCKET Jay stood there for a second as Melissa returned to normal. There was that electricity crackling around her again, but grounded towards the ground. That was... pretty smart. He kind of wondered if she'd shocked herself or something like that, before slowing down to normal speed. "Sorry, sorry. I was in a hurry. Kind of a family thing, I guess." Uncle Johnny had tried to help him with getting better at stopping, but... yeah. Hadn't really worked out entirely so far. "Sounds like that might be it, if you're here for the academy too?" His words were coming faster now. Jay was getting nervous. He had to slow down. He took a deep breath and centered himself, then smiled and shook Melissa's hand. "Sorry, this is all just, a lot. I'm Jay."

  11. Archer II "Yeah." Dama Maravilla. Connor would be lying if he said he had any idea what that meant. Probably something important. All of these super types wanted some fancy name that meant something. Couldn't just be something simple. "How fast do you want this shut down? Want the plan first?" Connor picked out a couple of arrow, placing them on his bow and took aim at Maravilla. "Give the word and I'll blow the arrow in the middle of the crowd. I got Maravilla in my sights." Merge had worked this. She could call the shots, then.
  12. Little Mermaid II It had finally been time for vacation! Mette had been busy this last year. Busier than she had ever felt before. The Rurland stuff, joining Vanguard, the whole thing with the fairy tales, fighting King Crab a few times... Yeah. It had been a busy year. Kinda like she had just suddenly gained some kind of cosmic narrative importance or something like that, but that was just silly. New Zealand was the destination! She'd wanted to go since her parents had shown her the Lord of the Rings movies, so now she finally had the chance, and... Then giants. Because of course giants. She couldn't really not help, after all. People were in danger. She was already heading towards Christchurch when the call went out, so she just made sure to get there faster. Seemed like she was the first to arrive, waving with a grin at the military liason. "Happy to help, sir! Which of the giants do you want me to hit first?"
  13. GM Victor looked at Eira, flinching slightly at the tight grip on his arm. His breath grew heavy, his lips twisting just ever so slightly into a slightly mad smile. "I have dreamed of things you could not imagine, Miss Katastroff, but I will accept that challenge. Now, show me your science! Show me what you can do really do!" Turning away from Eira, Victor hurried down the halls, leading her towards what could best be described as highly advanced steam punk laboratory. Machinery of all kinds, anything she had expected to find in a fantastical version of a Victorian fairy tale laboratory, it was there. Crude machinery, bubbling vats filled with strange fluids. A table covered in a white tarp, a row of automatons in half-finished states, more advanced than the ones she had encountered outside. She would find what she would need in the laboratory, as Frankenstein watched with a careful eye. *tick*
  14. They're standing in front of a building that can easily be reached. There's the broken street lamp as well. Getting to that will bring you closer, but also make you easier to spot.

  17. REBELLION The nightmare pointed out the girl in the wheelchair before it leapt towards the guards. She was approaching, her chair carried by... harpies of some kind. Monsters and beasts. It seemed like Rebellion was in good company. "The nightmare called you a Dreamer." It was a statement, not a question. He looked at her with his white eyes. She seemed... fragile. But perhaps not. The beasts she conjured certainly showed a different story.

  19. GM The guards took a few steps back. Then they reached for weapons and shouted something in Japanese. One pulled out a gun. The other looked at his companion and snickered, before pulling out a short sword, a wakizashi.
  20. Depending on responses and how well they can track it, I'll be stunting a much bigger teleport for Ghost to get them there.
  21. GHOST And... Kermit was not too keen on introductions. Alright then. They'd be Kermit, then. And... they got out of the armor and got naked. Wonderful. Casper decided he would do as she asked and stay outside the closet. Give her time to... do whatever she needed with those spells. He'd seen enough magic to pick up on what the runes were supposed to do, at least. Some kind of teleportation or someting. Rest was just gibberish to him. "Megalodon?" That was... surprising. Casper hadn't ever fought Megalodon, but he was just some giant shark monster, right? What would he want with babies? Eat them? "I, uh, what exactly do you mean faster? Get there fast, track them fast? I, might be able to get us there fast, but I need to know kinda exactly where it is." Ghost paused. He was talking to a giant frog. "And it's not exactly comfortable."
  22. Nevermore II Again? Red Death was there, somewhere, just taking pot shots at them and... Charlie couldn't see him at all. What was up with that guy? He was really as good as Mr. Summers had made him out to be, after all. Callie had a decisive strike against Fearmaster. Alright, cool, he should support that. Divide and conquer, take them out one by one, right? Sending a charge through his staff, he struck forward, sending a shock through Fearmaster with the blow. "I think it's just so shocking to find someone fighting back."
  23. GM "AH!" Trawler clearly wasn't as stoic as his armor might have made others think. With the dragon chomping on him, grabbing him in its mouth, he was caught completely. He groaned and cursed, trying to push Nightscale's mouth away from him, but with little luck. Even an armor like his was no match for a dragon. Fearmaster reeled from the shock that Nevermore sent through his body, taking a single step back as he tried to regain his composure.
  24. Trawler tries to break free. @Nerdzul give me a grapple check vs. 28 to see if he makes it! And you still owe me a DC22 TOU save! Nevermore: Notice vs. DC25 trying to find Red Death: 17, nope. Helping Madame Raven with fighting Fearmaster, then! Since they're up close, he goes for a Stun vs. Fearmaster: 10 And... I'm just gonna use a HP to reroll that: 25 DC18 Fort Save for Fearmaster: 16, fail by 2, he's dazed!
