  1. GM April 2nd 2021, 11:30 An abandoned warehouse in Kingston The music was loud. The beat was good, people were having fun, with the music blaring through the empty warehouse in Kingston. Things were slowly starting to return to normal after the Terminus Invasion. At least normal enough that plenty of people were feeling brave enough to get to the abandoned areas near the Doomforge to take over the buildings for underground parties. Like the one that Luke Landers and Leon Moore found themselves at. The music was loud. The party was fun.
  2. Well, they're unfriendly atm, but even with a +2 bonus for Rebound's moves, that's not enough to change their attitude!
  3. REBELLION Rebellion moved quickly. Sticking to the shadows, moving into the multi floor garage, he was able to find someone alone. Sneaking up on the man, he unleashed the full, paralyzing fear that the part of the Terror that was in him could produce. Moving quickly, he placed a hand around the man's mouth to drown out any screams, while he changed his own appearance, becoming the man's perfect twin. Wallets, keys, keycard, anyting the man had on him that could be useful or be used to identity him... and then put the man into the trunk. The black SUVs were interesting... maybe he should follow one of the people from them once inside?
  4. Alright, as mentioned previously, Rebellion sneaks up on one of the guys that's alone and uses his Paralyze power, then uses the Morph power from his Terror array to become his twin. Picking up anything he can about the man, he then puts him inside the trunk of his car. Disguise roll at 50 with Skill Mastery. Anything about the guy's appearance, name and apparent job?
  5. Nevermore II Charlie was up in a tree, a book in his hands, when his phone buzzed. Reaching into his pocket, he absentmindedly pulled it out, his eyes still on the book before slowly turning to look at it. Group chat, then. Luke, Olivia, Zach. And... Shields was up to something. Of course he was. Charlie had kept an eye on Shields ever since their last trouble, but honestly, he hadn't really spotted New Young Freedom doing anything bad. Nothing worse than other students, at least. No mind control, no nothing that he had noticed. Still, he trusted Luke's judgement so far. He sent out a quick message to everyone Meet behind dorms in 10? Then, he audibly closed his book and called out to the tall woman sitting under the tree. "Hey, El? Wanna get into some trouble?"
  6. Nevermore II Charlie couldn't help himself, he laughed, shaking his head ever so slightly. Still, keep his eyes on the road, right? "Ha, I guess I am. But really, don't worry about it. Wouldn't be any fun if you were just stuck at Claremont, right?" Fighting villains? Yeah, he supposed that could probably happen. Maybe. He did have his plans, after all, and El did seem like a good fit, so maybe... But not right now. She'd just gotten here. No need to push things on her. "But, aaanyway... Let's go see some people about some sushi!" Pushing the bike just a little bit, he raced down the street.

  8. GM While Trawler struggled in the mighty dragon's jaws, the Beekeeper had only eyes for that particular dragon. Despite Howl bringing the music to him, he seemed entirely concentrated on the massive monster, firing blast after blast at Nightscale while yelling about dragons and not signing up for this and so much more. The Red Death struck from his hiding place once more. A capsule was shot towards Nevermore. It exploded into a foul stench, one that almost seemed to suck the air from Nevermore's lungs.
  9. Beekeeper continues to shoot at Nightscale. Due to your size he does not take a penalty to not hit Trawler. Attack: 23, that's a hit. @Nerdzul give me a DC22 TOU save. Red Death remains in hiding and fires Suffocate attack at Nevermore: 28 DC18 Fort save: 11 I'll spend a HP to reroll: 26 @Tiffany Korta is up! 22 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 22 - Howl - 3HP - Unharmed 19 - Nightscale - 2HP - Bruise (x1), Def -2 until Init 19, Grappling (No Dodge Bonus) 16 - Beekeeper - Bruise (x2) 14 - Red Death - Unharmed 13 - Madame Raven - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Trawler - Unharmed, TOU-3 (1 restored at Init 19 each rnd.), Grappled by Nightscale, Bound and Helpless 10 - Nevermore II - 2HP - Unharmed 07 - Fearmaster - Unharmed
  10. GM The cyborg doubled over from the blow. He started coughing wildly, tears streaming out of his eyes. He looked up at Luke, his eyes no longer glowing, then slumped over, unconscious. The bell on the door jingled lightly as someone stepped in. A man stepped inside, clad in red, white and blue. His right shoulder was blue, with a large star in the center of the shoulder. Red and white stripes stretched from the shoulder and onto his torso, left arm and legs. He wore white fingerless gloves and heavy red boots. His face was covered by a full face mask, red on the sides and white on the front of the face. He wore a white quiver and a red bow that he was holding in his hand. "Please step away from the cyborg. You're out of your jurisdiction here, ma'am."
  11. @Exaccus @Kaede Kimura Gonna skip a GM post for now, so feel free to post. And give me notice checks if you enter the hatch.
  12. Archer II Both of them just. Kept. Talking. Freaking supers. Thinking they're invincible just because they got powers. School life. Archer just glared at Shooting Star, but didn't respond. He didn't feel like sharing his entire life story. He moved a finger up over his lips to try to silence them, then moved towards the hatch. He looked into it with a frown while he replaced the arrow in his hand, picking out one with a casing on it and firmly planting it in the ground next to the entrance, then looked at the other two and motioned with his head towards the hatch. They were bullet proof. They could go first.
  13. Let's see if Ghost's picked something up he'll recognize with Jack of All Trades: 15 Well, he got something at least! I'll hold off to give E a chance to post first.
  14. @TheAbsurdist Can I get an Intimidate, Bluff or Diplomacy roll for that, whichever you think fits the best?
  15. Little Mermaid II Mette raised an eyebrow at the man, her lips curling into a smile that twisted to her left. "Whoops." The French man's pint exploded out of his glass, drenching his face. "Guess there's no sea monsters down there."
  16. Forever Boy Pan was grace. He was beauty. He danced among the pirates, swinging a sword of light. He had little time to care, little time to think. He stood alone to protect his friend, his sword cutting the strings of the Sky-Pirates one by one. What did Micah try to tell him? Something was wrong beyond the obvious? He paused, and he looked. The pirates... What were they doing? Their eyes, their mouths, their arms and legs. The Forever Boy was by Micah's side within moments. "Micah. They keep coming back. We need something more."
  17. GM The fire fought back against the rain. It roared, it raged, and yet, it could not burn. Slowly but surely, the last embers became nothing but smoke. The pirates moved without fear. Without care for their own safety. They barely seemed to aim, shooting wildly at the Forever Boy and the Thunderbird, swinging their cutlasses with nothing resembling skill or finesse. As they closed in on the young friends, the reason for their silence was made clear: Their mouths had been sewn shut. Their eyes were wide and crazed. For some, tears flowed freely. For others, the grip of madness were clear. Even unconscious, they kept moving.
  18. GM Victor pulled the goggles away from his eyes before he shook her hand. She could clearly see the admiration in his eyes. "Yes, we must work. Time is short, after all. The Sky-Pirates will be here soon." With a bow and a flourish, he pointed the way down a long hallway. For a brief moment, it seemed to stretch on forever. But no, it was not quite that long, after all. It must have been Eira's imagination. Victor kept stealing glances at Eira as they walked, before finally swallowing his pride and speaking up. "Forgive me for being frank, Miss Katastroff, but why are you here? Why do you seek to aid Victori? You are... quite unique. I am a man of science, my dear, and yet you? You are beyond anything I have seen." He paused briefly, stopping moving entirely. "Why would a wonder such as you decide to support doomed Victori?"
  19. Nevermore II "Got it." Nevermore raised his own gauntlet towards a building, firing off a line that attached and then pulled him up. A silent shadow moving in the night alongside Raven, he landed on the rooftop and quickly folded his cape around him. He moved ahead, towards the edge of the roof. Perched like this, at the corner of the rooftop? Charlie had to admit that it just felt cool. He knew this was serious, but he couldn't keep a slight grin from his lips, though he made sure to quickly suppress it when Raven caught up to him. Nevermore pointed towards the group, then tilted his head slightly, as if to say "what about those guys?"
  20. GM The tenacious two reached the rooftop with no issue. They could see the Doomforge in the distance, the Unkindness parked beneath them. The street ahead still showed the signs of the Terminus Invasion. Craters in the road. Boarded up windows. The tops of some buildings were just gone. Kingston was silent, but not completely abandoned. People moved in the streets, even at this late hour. Most stuck to the shadows, out of sight. Some moved with fear. Others with confidence. Ahead, there was a small gathering of people on the street, standing under a broken street lamp. Four men, two women, wearing random clothing. They were clearly armed. For now, they were silent, looking around, sometimes motioning to each other and pointing if anyone passed them by, before quickly resuming their vigil.
  21. GM "I am so happy to hear you say that." Sebastian was all smiles. Behind him, Melanie rolled her eyes. "You should join us tonight, then. Melanie has heard some rumors about some villains trying to steal something from the Hunter Museum up near Liberty Park. Something about some mystical gem or something on display. It was boring, I didn't really listen to the details. But, we will be staking the place out. You should join us then!" Melanie rolled her eyes again. Luke overheard everything, of course. Then Melanie turned towards him. He wouldn't have long to hide, but perhaps that would be the perfect cue for him to get in touch with some friends.
  22. "Oh, yeah, I get that. Need to know what others can do, best way to figure out where to put people, right?" Ghost reached and grabbed a cup with frozen coffee off the table, then moved it down through the table, to continue his demonstration. "Nothing with size, no. Can't really grow or shrink or anything, but it's like, part of me are here, and part of me isn't? So I can kinda move through stuff. Most things can't really touch me. Got a problem when things get too cold, so..." He looked down at the cup with the frozen coffee. It wasn't cold enough to stop him from going through stuff, but still. "So. Yeah. I... don't really have any formal training, I guess. Plenty on the job experience. I've been at it since 2003, so... yeah. Done my fair share of crazy stuff." Ghost moved the coffee down, into the middle of the table and let go, moving his hand up. "I can affect other stuff with this. Get it stuck in things. Sorta stun them, or, y'know... hurt them. Or if I grab something or someone, I can make 'em move through stuff like me."
