  1. "Huh." Comrade Frost, then? Yeah, alright. He could give him a call. Casper would probably be turned away, but what the hell. "Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll... try to figure out what to do. At least the kid would probably think it'd be cool if I was in the League." Now he was feeling all weird. Just meeting Fleur here and she was already helping him out like this. Casper didn't even know he wanted to try to join the League until this talk. "Oh, yeah, Frost's that Russian ice guy, right? What's his deal, anyway? Got bit a by a radioactive freezer or something? Too many winters in Siberia in his youth?" Ghost shuddered a bit. "I don't really do too well with cold. Ever hear about Freezeburn? He... left kind of an impression." Yeah. Those fights had all been bad. Freezeburn liked to freeze people solid, then break them. Laughing all the while. Always found a way to break out, too.
  2. REBELLION Girl in the wheelchair got in the way. Did something weird, something with small little creatures with weapons and claws. Still not smart. The Takazumi-gumi ruled Jadetown. Wouldn't accept anything that made them look weak. Ryu especially. Then what? Intervene? Try to help her? Could blow the whole thing. Should wait, watch, listen. Figure out what was going on.
  3. GM With Dreamer and Dreams in their way, the group stopped. They didn't seem to notice or care about anything else. The woman looked around, worried for a moment, then smiled as she saw some of the dreams. The leader of the group, Ryu, stepped forward, crossing his arms and staring down at the girl in the wheelchair. "No." His voice did not waver in the least. He was completely sure of himself. "If you don't know who we are, then you are an outsider that does not belong here. Go away and take your pets. We don't have time to deal with crazy cripples today."
  4. Nevermore II Charlie leaned back out of reach, using minimal effort to move out of the way for once. Alek had taught him that little trick, and it usually scared the crap out of people like this guy. Guy in cape and cowl, barely even bothering to move to get out of the way? Yeah, that should work. "Man, you really don't know who you're dealing with, do you?" He reached into his belt and pulled out a small silver ball-like device. With a grin, he tossed it the guy, where it would explode into a quickly expanding grey foam that wrapped around the man, potentially keeping him stuck to the ground. "I'm Nevermore. Y'know, like in the Raven and..."
  5. Gonna try to Snare myself a goon: 27. I'm guessing that hits! Rolled a 19, and the Snare got Improved Crit, so that should crit for a total DC23 Reflex Save vs. Snare!
  6. Can't beat that feint. That's a hit, TOU save vs. DC25: 17, another bruise and dazed ? GM *tick* *tock* As Eira worked her very own brand of magic, she could hear the sound of the automaton's beating clockwork heart. *tick* *tock* It was calm and ever steady, continuing on, no matter how much she pilfered and crackled and removed and rebuilt. *tick* *tock* Inside, the automaton looked much a human, only artificial in every way. Clockwork hearts, lungs, stomach, intestines as cables that carried power through the machine. It was a marvel, in its own way, carefully crafted and put together. *tick* *tock* And yet, Eira would pull it apart with ease, rebuilding it for her own purposes, while the people that had allowed her to work on the machine watched in silence.

  10. Casper froze. She saw right through him, didn't she? "I guess I'm that easy to read, huh?" He shrugged. "I dunno. I don't really know if I'm team material at all, y'know. Besides, I bet there's all kinds of responsibilities, team meetings and everything." He probably shouldn't do it. It'd be weird. Showing up to something like that, they'd probably turn him away anyway. Or someone would call him a villain around that time and it'd be bad publicity or something.
  11. GHOST Ghost paused for a moment, looking at the burning man in front of him, then back to the big flying super hero with the cape and sixpack and everything. "I think you should keep setting him on fire." Moving in, he touched Cueball's chest, causing him to groan in pain. Good, good. A hit, not really stopping him or anything, but... "Geez, man. What're they feeding you?"
  12. GM Cueball was set on fire. Again. "STOP! WITH! THE! %¤/%¤(/&(¤/%##! FIRE!" Somehow, he was still standing, despite being set on fire over and over again. And somehow, he was only getting more and more pissed off.

  16. GHOST Good, good. Another one down, and that just left... the guy with the big weird axe that just wouldn't go down no matter how much he was set on fire. Lovely. "C'mon, man. All your buddies are down. How about you just give up?" No? Right, Casper figured he wouldn't go for that anyway. Flying forward, he cursed himself as he missed the guy. How could he miss someone at that size from way up close, anyway?
  17. GM Angel froze completely when Ghost's hand passed through him, then fell on his back with a loud *THUD*. "Stop setting me on fire you ¤%&#!" Cueball was burning. Again. And still standing, despite it all. He slapped his arms, trying to put out the fire while he continued to curse up a storm. His axe came flying back towards him, hitting the ground and getting stuck.

  19. "Yeah." Business cards were old fashioned? "Old stuff..." Ghost shook his head and muttered "but I like business cards..." to himself, before pocketing it with a sigh. He thought it over a bit. That sounded like a lot of work, to be honest. And a lot of luck. Not something he usually got a whole lot of. He almost wanted to ask, but... nah. It'd just make things weird. "Eh, I dunno. Sometimes its like I'm just the same dumb kid that made a mistake and wanted to make sure I didn't make another, just doing my best." Ghost groaned slightly, scratching his neck with a free hand. "Other times, I dunno... Seems like everything's going faster and stronger all the time, y'know? Like everything's just going a bit more all the time, and I just gotta adapt with it. Doing my best, at least." He let out a laugh. "But, c'mon, I'm just a friendly neighborhood Ghost. You're on the freaking Freedom League. Talk about a million miles from where you started."

  21. Nevermore II "Or maybe we're just that good," Charlie added with a grin, while he got out a snareline and threw it towards the fast thug, watching it quickly expand around him. Leaning over his staff, shortened to a more comfortable length for doing just that, he looked down at the pair of thugs. "So, where'd your friend go? We'll find her either way, might as well make it easier on yourselves, right?"
  22. Charlie will throw a snare at the Fast Thug anyway, to wrap him up.
  23. GM The stairs were free so far, but Chimera could hear clear commotion coming from below. Someone was talking loudly, coordinating some people while keeping others back. She would not have long to move down the stairs before people came running. She would have to be quick, but she made it in time, leaving vacant restroom in time to see students cautiously moving up the stairs that she had just moved down.
  24. GM The Big Bad Wolf shook its head, and with a quick woof sound, it moved to the side, out of Zhenshchina-voin's reach, now positioned with her in front of Synapse. The wolf inhaled might amounts of wind, enough that Klara could almost feel herself being pulled in, and then... It huffed, and it puffed, and it blew the heroes down! Both Synapse and Zhenschina-voin would feel the mighty winds pushing and tearing at them.

The Big Bad Wolf inhales wind and then creates a cone area effect that hits Zhenschina-voin and Synapse! @Tiffany Korta and @Thevshi: Give me a DC20 Reflex Save vs. Area followed by a DC25/20 TOU save vs. Damage!
