"I dunno. He might be able to feel it or something? Honestly, not really sure what Gaian Knight can do. Pretty sure we've never met." He paused for a second. "I don't think we've ever met, at least? All kinda runs together in the long run, y'know." Ghost looked at the plant as Fleur pointed it out and grimaced. "Yeah, that doesn't really help. Like... that's a bad mental image right there. So, thanks for that." There was a bit of a laugh in his voice at the end anyway. "What's all that about, anyway? Heard you lived on some other world now? Cleaning up there now?"

GM Holmes glared at Micah. "Pan is the Forever Boy. Without him, the Hooked Man has no opposite number. No one to stop him. That is the detection we need, child." He was obviously not amused by this insolent child making demands of him. Watson seemed calmer, walking in between Holmes and the children to calm them. "Reflections? What do you mean?" He almost shook as Eira revealed her robotic hand. "You are an automaton," he stated with a flat tone. "But not from Victori, are you? No, you are something else. And you are quite unwell, are you not?" He leaned closer to Eira, producing a monocle and holding it up to his right eye as he studied the hand. "Yes, you are something else entirely, are you not." At this, Holmes seemed to perk up, just a bit, before falling back into the sullen stance he had displayed so far. "Ah. So you wish to find the Wish Isle." He stared at Eira, a hint of disgust in his eyes. "To help your friend, hm? You hope that the Pixies will help you." He laughed, briefly. There was no warmth in the laugh. "It would be almost amusing to see you return, just for that."

Forever Boy If Pan was bothered by the words of the great detectives, he did not let it show. Eira and Micah knew him better. They could see the brief flinch. "Thank you, Micah, but that is not quite how things work here. Defeating the Hooked Man is not their story. It is mine." His voice was calm, given the situation and the devastation they had seen. He gently placed a hand on Eira's shoulder. "We need them, Eira. If anyone know where to find the Wish Isle, it is the great detectives." Pan raised an eyebrow, and stared at the two men. "Is that not so? I am sure you have found my old home long ago." Of course, Pan had yet to tell either Eira or Micah why they had to find the Wish Isle...

Pan smiled. Different from his just a bit too wide smile. One born from experience, from failure, triumph, and everything in between. It was simple words, a simple response, not one that he seemed to give a lot of thought. "That one is simple," he finally said. "Then you do better next time. If you do not dare, then who does?"
-
GM They would not get home. Not just yet, at least. 2 weeks later Much had changed in Neverworld since Pan's disappearance almost 3 years earlier. Only, it seemed like much more time had passed. Or maybe not. In some places in the world, it seemed like time had almost stood still. In others, the world had moved on. In the weeks since the Forever Boy, the Thunderbird and Angelic had arrived, Pan had led them on a trek through the world. In the Forever Boy's absence, much had changed. At sea, they had found the rotting remains of Ahab, the Whale Hunter, tied to the mast of a once mighty ship, now run aground on a reef. In Victori, the factories were hard at work, continuously creating soulless, mass produced weapons of war to do battle with the ever expanding empire of the Hooked Man. The people worked tirelesly in the factories, daring nothing else. It was all they could do to survive. All they could do to protect themselves. Now, they had reached Trader's Haven, capital of New Avalon. It had taken some work, but the Forever Boy had found the Great Detectives, that now stood before them in the broken city. "So, the Forever Boy," Watson stated. "But where have you been?" "It is elementary," Holmes asked, sitting on some rubble. "He ran. The Lost Heroes were lost, and he ran. And now, he returns, with children in tow." Watson was tall, with a moustache, his hair thinning, once black but now turning grey. Holmes slightly shorter, his hair brown. What had once been neat suits with intricate designs had now faded and been ruined. "I assume you are looking for a way to run yet again?"

Forever Boy Pan stared, his lips in a smile, then looked up at the star high above. He reached out for Eira and Micah, pulling them both close, an arm around each, Eira by the waist, Micah by the shoulder. His smile grew even wider as he looked up at the star. "Look, the second star to the right! I am home!"

Nevermore II Charlie did his homework. Of course, not just the homework that they assigned at Claremont, but trying to keep up with whatever was going down in the city. Alek had taught him all that, and being at hero school didn't mean he shouldn't keep up with his other work. Or try to make it all work together. So, Usher's in Kingston. Some kinda demonic gang in Southside that no one seemed to deal with. Part of him wanted to get in touch with Alek about it, but on the other hand... Nah. He could do this without him. He could need some muscle, though, and he had the perfect idea for that. Grabbing his phone, he sent a quick text to Luke: Yo, you up for looking into some trouble in Southside? followed by a little bird emoji.

GM Getting back to the building was easy enough. Freestyle might have escaped with the data, but she had left the computer she had stolen it from and the mechanical arm behind. By the time Chimera returned, the smoke had cleared out, and the main entrance to the building had been blocked. It would be easy to get back inside the small room and put her forensic knowledge to the test.
-
Alright, give me some rolls for how you want to look for clues! There's computers for Computers checks, Search for looking around, Investigate for, well, investigating the clues you find! Time is limited, so you might not have time to check up on everything before security arrives at the building!
-
GM "I got no clue." Matt crossed his arms over his chest and scowled at Watchdog. "Some people showed up, said they'd help me walk again, now this is me." He glared at Luke and shook his head. "You've done enough, man. What did you expect, a happy reunion? You left me behind!" Despite it all, Matt did seem to calm down a little bit at Judy's words. "I... I don't know. This is me, I guess. I still feel off... and..." He looked around, people were staring around them. "Can we please do this somewhere else? Everyone's kind of staring."

Pan moved with Eira, following close as she led him and he danced. Even with such a slow dance, his movements were fluid and graceful, as he made sure to put on a show. He was smiling, he was happy, giving chase as Eira stepped back, moving close behind her and wrapping his arms around her for a quick peck on the cheek, before he pulled away again, holding her hand and letting go after a second.

They are, obviously, a group of bikers. They have been some relatively minor nuisances in Freedom City and surrounding highways for years, but a few months ago, their leadership (Angel, Buddy, the Born Loser and Cueball) had suddenly gained powers, which they have been using to cause trouble. Angel claims that the powers were a gift from a demon.

GHOST A white hand quickly poked out of the ground where Ghost had disappeared, giving the witch girl a quick thumbs up, before it disappeared again. So, more people coming. Axe guy he could deal with, but if there were more people like the guy that had just taken out, then who knew what would happen? These guys might not be sharp, but they were dangerous. Adjusting his goggles for half a second, Ghost spotted the approaching guys and quickly flew through the road towards them, staying low enough that wouldn't see him, but not too low. The moment he reached them, his hand shot out of the ground and grabbed around the ankle of one of them, quickly trying to pull him in.

GM "You frea-" Cueball was thrown back by the fireball, slamming into a bus, then quickly put out the flames in his beard. He shook his head, looked around and found... no one. Sparkler was still invisible. Ghost had disappeared into the ground. "COME AND FIGHT ME YOU %¤¤&ing cowards!"

Archer II Let Shooting Star handle the big guy? Fat chance. The last of the gunmen were pulling into building, sure, but Shooting Star and the big guy was kind of in between there. He couldn't really get around them. With the big guy already distracted, he let the arrows he had pulled fly towards him, 3 syringes digging into Bthe big guy's arm. And not really doing anything. Great.

GM Billy grinned, opened his mouth to say something... and then he was punched right in the face. "Ow." He almost sounded like he didn't believe what had just happened, taking a step back and stumbling slightly while he tried to make the world stop spinning. The last of the armed men looked between Billy, Archer and Shooting Star, made a gesture that very much made his thoughts on the situation clear, then quickly backed away back into the building.

Pan stared at the elephant for another moment, moving backwards behind it as it moved towards the beach, then quickly flew up to the others on the elephant's back. "Ah, you are back, good, good." He looked over the children, before continuing. "Well. The elephant is alive. Or at least it believes itself to be alive. It acts like someone would think an elephant would act, but only not quite? Someone might have made it change. Is it not terribly exciting?"

Nevermore II Feeling her arms around him was surprising, but alright, Charlie did offer, and he was going fast. Bit faster than he normally would out of costume, but hey, if El wanted to see what he could do, then he was game. "Well, I... kinda made the Raven teach me. Kept going until he finally relented and agreed to teach me how to do what he does, just so I wouldn't end up in trouble I couldn't get out of." Charlie shifted his weight to the side, making a sharp right turn. "Sorry, I really can't talk that much about him. Guy's not what I'd call harsh, but he got rules, and he got them for a good reason." He paused briefly, making it across a crossing a second before the light turned red. "Never learned anything about your mentor? I mean, you gotta have learned something if he taught you what to do, right?"
-
"Heh, yeah. Its incredible that they letting him out on that idea about him being psychologically compelled to get all the gold he can. I means, sure, might be a thing, but he's kinda going overboard with the gold battlesuit he keeps using. Honestly, I think he's just having fun with it." He looked at the flower, grimacing as it spat out all the trash. "That's... actually kinda disgusting. Sorry, effective and all, but that can't be good for the flower. And, y'know. A barfing flower." He shook his head and looked down at his goggles, tapping the glass for one eye with his fingers. "Sure. Kinda need 'em when I go through stuff so I can see anything. X-ray vision and GPS, makes it much easier to find my way around."

GHOST "Sorry 'bout that," Ghost muttered to Cueball, then pointed to the logo on his chest. "Guess that and the whole walk through the ground and your buddy thing didn't really clue you in on what I can do, did it?" Pushing away from Cueball, he floated on his side, quickly reaching down to touch him on the way. With his flames almost out by now, Buddy seized at the touch, then stopped moving. Finally. Guy was way tougher than he should've been. "See ya!" With that, Ghost dove head first into the ground just behind Buddy, leaving Cueball standing alone and raging at the sky, the ground and everything in between.
