  1. GM "SCREW YOU!" Circing around Justice to get closer to Ultra Girl, Ultio Red fired yet another two-handed blast. "You're a freakin' menace, and I'm gonna take you down!" The last two standing Ultios seemed a bit unsure of what to do at first. The one that had thrown the smoke bomb moved in and punched at Justice, connecting with her side. Justice's armor took care of that. The blaster continued to fire laser blasts despite his allies being in close, but to little luck.
  2. Justice Blaster guy wasn't doing much, but the hit just kept falling on Ultra Girl. She had to get in there, and now. Adjusting a dial on her belt, Justice leapt off her bike and directly into a rainbow portal, coming out right next to Ultra Girl, delivering a quick kick to the side of the armored Ultio's head, sending him face first into the ground. "You got issues, you know that, right?"

  4. Gather Information DC10: Rocket debuted in late 2019. He was seen occasionally in 2020, being officially introduced to the world by Johnny Rocket II in May of that year. He has joined the Atom Academy as one of the initial members in early 2021. DC15: Rocket's real name is Jason 'Jay' Jacob Wade, the nephew of Johnny Rocket II and great-grandchild of Johnny Rocket I. He has been living with his uncles since 2010. DC20: Rocket's father is David Ross, the villainous Speed Freak, one of Johnny Rocket II's recurring foes. He is currently incarcerated. DC25: Rocket's mother was briefly drugged by his father and aided him in his crimes. Since she was saved in 2010 she has remained in rehabilitation since then. Rocket doesn't like to talk about it. Knowledge: Popular Culture DC10: Like his uncle, Rocket actively stands up for LBGT+ rights. DC15: Rocket is an inventor and would-be scientist. He's not just using his speed for heroics, but advanced inventions as well. DC20: Who is the fastest speedster? Not Rocket, but he might just be faster than his uncle Johnny! Knowledge: Physical Sciences DC15: Johnny Rocket I's powers came from being soaked in experimental rocket fuel, which was somehow passed on to his grandchild Johnny Rocket II and great-grandchild Rocket. DC20: Rocket's speed is not quite physics breaking, but they don't seem to quite follow the regular rules of physics either! It's weird!

Ghost Gather Information DC5: Ghost has been an active member of the Freedom City super heroic scene since 2003, but has tended to stay away from larger gatherings of heroes, working mostly by himself or doing impromptu team ups. His reputation is all over the place, from responsible super hero doing his best to outright villain, depending on who you ask. He is generally accepted as a hero by the super heroic community. DC10: Some believe that Ghost might be an actual ghost driven by vengeance to do good! He can fly and phase through solid objects. He is a big fan of hot dogs and coffee. DC15: While seen all over Freedom, Ghost is believed to primarily operate around the Fens and Southside. He is generally not a fan of teenage super heroes, but does his best to help them anyway. DC20: Ghost is not an actual ghost, he just has ghost-like powers. He doesn't speak about it a lot, but he claims to have saved the world at least twice. DC25: Ghost's intangibility seems to have issues with cold. Knowledge: Popular Culture DC10: Ghost made a few headlines back in 2003, thrilling the city and parts of the nation with his powers on live television. He suddenly stopped after a few weeks, instead resurfacing as a super hero. Knowledge: Streetwise DC10: Ghost is mainly active around the Fens and Southside. While his powers can pack a punch, he is generally considered one of the more gentle super heroes to be stopped by, as long as you don't endanger civilians, then all bets are off. DC15: There's a lot of criminals in Freedom City that would love to see Ghost permanently ghosted. Casper Balthazar Church Gather Information DC10: Casper is a Freedom City resident, currently living in the Fens. DC15: Casper is divorced from Jessie Taylor Wilson, a well known Freedom City real estate agent. They have a daughter, Carrie Belinda Church, with Jessie having custody. Their relationship is friendly. DC20: Casper never seems to be able to keep a job for long, eventually being fired for being late, sleeping on the job or showing up hurt to work on multiple occasions.

  8. GHOST There it was, that weird feeling again. Casper pulled back slightly, letting it pass by him again, but he shouldn't have been able to feel it at all... just what was this guy doing? And... was he really talking on the phone now? Here? "Really?" He raised an eyebrow behind his goggles, then quickly reached forward, touching the man's shoulder, quick enough to send a sharp pain through his body, then flew forward, straight through him and getting closer to the guy with the axe. "C'mon, I'm right here. Leave everyone else alone, yeah?" The girl with the fire was still hiding, so if he could just get them to focus on him...
  9. GM "GAH! #%&@! You freakin' little %&?#! I'll tear you to #¤%&ing pieces!" Cueball stood in the fire, grasping his axe tightly with on hand while he used the other to try and put it out the burning jacket. He twisted and turned, too distracted to try and find the invisible Sparkler for the moment. "Nah, not our style." Buddy seemed completely unphased by Ghost's attack, not even slowing down at all. His lips pulled back, revealing almost rotting teeth in his mouth. Ghost and Sparkler both felt it again... a sick feeling, spreading out from him. "Gimme a sec, hero." Buddy brought up a phone and started talking, right in front of the surprised Ghost. "Hey, boss, got a couple a' heroes here. Could use some backup."

  11. "Mine's 6, so I honestly got no idea if that's something they'll grow out of." It was kind of weird talking with someone else with a kid like this. "She doesn't know about me and well, this whole thing." He motioned around his face with his finger around his mask. "Ex-wife doesn't think she's old enough yet. Can't argue with that, y'know." He thought for a moment, then shook his head. Nah. He'd just met Fleur, she might be a big shot Freedom Leaguer, but they didn't really know each other. Couldn't share too many details.
  12. Atom Academy Housed in Atomic Tower, the Atom Academy is the Atom Family's attempt to expand! Super science! Exploration! Family! Join the Atom Academy, and journey into mystery! Location and Appearance The Atom Academy is housed on the top 5 floors of Atomic Tower in Midtown Freedom City, formerly known as the Goodman Building. With the opening of the Atom Academy, the Atom Family has expanded the building, adding 5 extra floors on top of the Nucleus, the former top 5 floors of the building. From the outside, the building appears much like any other skyscraper in Midtown Freedom City, aside from the massive atom symbol of three interlinked rings on the Southern side of the top five floors. The three rings are blue, yellow and red respectively. Inside, the building appears larger than on the outside. You will always be able to find another room, and the laws of physics seem to be a plaything. A hangar of Atom Family vehicles are available, as are highly advanced technology to aid the research and exploration of the academy's members. Significance The Atom Academy is the legacy and expansion of the Atom Family: The next generation of science heroes and explorers of the strange and unexplained! Any heroes interested in learning scientific fields, journeying into mystery or just fighting mad scientists across the known and unknown omniverse! The Academy is attended by a host of heroes, geniuses and others, who want to make the world a better place, one discovery at a time. People The Atom Family ALEX: The Artificial Life-form EXperiment still keeps the Nucleus, and, by extension, the brand new Atom Academy, in the best of shape. Chase Atom: Chase Atom have taken little interest in Atom Academy beyond agreeing to its creation, but will still visit from time to time. Cosmo the Moon Monkey: Cosmo seems to appear at Atom Academy whenever something goes wrong. Dr. Atom: While Dr. Atom remains dead, a computer program of his personality and memories haunts the halls of Atomic Tower, keeping the tower running. Maximus Atom: Next to Tesla, Maximus is the member of the Atom Family most likely to be seen at the Academy at any given point. Tesla Atom: Tesla Atom is the headmistress of Atom Academy, having designed the Academy and being responsible for recruiting many of its members. Victoria Atom: Victoria spends little time in the scientific environment at the Academy, but is always willing to tag along for the next adventure. Academy members Bee: Melissa Bowles joins the Atom Academy in pursuit of her doctorate in chemistry. Rocket: The nephew of Johnny Rocket II has joined Atom Academy to learn about his own super speed and earn a degree in quantum physics. History Late 2019: Tesla Atom proposes her idea for the Atom Academy to the rest of the Atom Family. Mid 2020: Expansion and rebranding of the Goodman Building begins. Late 2020: The now rebranded Atomic Tower stands ready, with the new top 5 floors dedicated to the Atom Academy. February 2020: The Atom Academy opens its doors. Spring 2024: A new team led by Rex Atom gathers, their first mission being an incursion into Z-Space to rescue the last survivor of a lost universe. Uniforms These are the official uniforms worn by members of the Academy. While it is up to the individual whether to use the uniform or not, members of the Atom Academy are expected to at least wear an Atom badge while acting on behalf of the academy in any official capacity.
  13. Nevermore II Charlie suppressed a laugh, the sound coming out as a bit of a snort instead. "Ha... right. I should introduce you to the Raven at some point. Obstacle courses are the least of the things he's put me through before he let me put on the cape in the first place." Crossing his arms, he couldn't keep the laugh away this time. "Sure, if you want it to be a competition, but this is a city. Not always easy to get a car through the streets." Moving to the back, he opened a compartment and pulled out a pair of helmets, tossing one to El. "Better put this on, don't need anyone catching us, right?" He continued while putting on his own helmet. "So, where do you want to go? Downtown? Liberty or Riverside Park with the heroes statues? Or Millenium Mall, maybe? Kinda doubt they got anyting like those places where you're from."

  15. Forever Boy Pan flew off the ship before the crash and before Micah's stunt to save it from itself, a trail of glimmer and gold staying close by Eira, until she hit the sand. He was silent, a rare thing as he looked across the landscape around them. The beach, the sea, the sky and everything, it was different, somehow. The Forever Boy did not seem to register Eira's question or Micah's exhaustion. Not quite yet, no. He was smiling. An odd smile, slightly wider than it should be, perhaps. "I am home."
  16. GM The ship fell and fell, the pirates yelled and screamed and then... a gust of wind from below, the might of the Thunderbird on full display! And yet, the mighty vessel cracked as it collided with the beach, several pirates being thrown to the sand that now surrounded the ship.

  18. GM "Reasonable one? Reasonable one!?" Now that got Ultio Red going. Raising both hands, she released another blast directly at Ultra Girl's face. "Don't you even know who I am!? Last time we met you punched me out while protecting a freakin' monster!" The one with the blaster fired at Justice again, his blast bouncing off her armor with little effect again. Up close, the one that had released the smoke moved in and feinted an attack at Ultra Girl, moving back and out of the way just in time for the one with the armor to come in and try to punch her in the face, before quickly backing off.
  19. Justice Moving in fast, but not that fast. But they were flying. Probably not something that Mars had stolen from Robin's old suit, but... yeah. Still, way too much of her tech in them. The smoke started covering the entire area, but that was fine, Robin could deal with that. Activating her enhanced vision modes, she leaned to the side and out of the way of the first strike from the flier, then out of the next, and... "Who's the knockoff?" Man, the one in red really knew what to go for. Full power to the engines! A quick punch sent the first of the fliers flying away, crashing further down the street, followed shortly after by the second one. She just had to get to Ultra Girl before she got hurt again...

Blast attack: 20, hits Justice, blocked by Imp. Tou Stealth uses Aid action to help tank with hitting: 12, +2 to tank's attack. Tank tries to punch Ultra Girl again: 14. That's a hit, give me a DC21 TOU save. Then takes a move action to get out of close combat. And you're up! 20 - Ultio Red - Unharmed 20 - Ultio Suits x7 - 4 down (1x Tank, 1x Blaster, 1x Stealth) 15 - Ultra Girl - 3HP - Bruise (x3) 12 - Justice - 4HP - Unharmed Obscure - Normal Vision - 2/3 rounds, at Init 20
  21. Burn. +5 Autofire, but he's immune to crits! DC30 TOU: 14, fail by more than 15.   22. GHOST "Sure, sure, you're all big and bad and everything. Look at me shaking, I'm practically as white as a sheet." Yeah, alright. Devil's Advocates. Casper had to admit, it was a pretty badass name. And they clearly weren't just ordinary bikers, with that axe and... whatever it was that this guy had done just before. With the punch passing through him, he reached forward and passed his hand though Buddy's shoulder, and... nothing. Oh, this guy was tough. Right. "Don't suppose you wanna start monologuing about why you're tearing through the Boardwalk?"
  23. GM "WOULD YOU QUIT IT WITH THE FIRE!?" Cueball was angry. Maybe a bit of an understatement. When the fire passed by Buddy, he leapt at the bus that Sparkler had been hiding by, smashing straight through it with his axe. Buddy just laughed at the scene. "Man, you gotta relax, Cueball. Smell 'er out or somethin'. The others'll be here soon, anyway. Don't wanna look bad in front of the boss, do ya?" Personally, he turned to look at Ghost. "This ain't yer day, Ghosty boy. You're messin' with the Devil's Advocates here." He jogged towards Ghost and threw a punch that went right through the spectral super, with little effort really put into it.
  24. Cueball Jumps at where Sparkler was the moment before, smashing the bus she was hiding behind with the axe.
