  1. GM Jamie looked up at Outrider from her the heroine’s and flushed a little before she was down on her own two feet. She nodded and glanced over at Chimera, who promptly made a shooing motion and Jamie managed to recover quickly. The girl nodded back took a step backwards, only to stop for a moment as she noticed she was staring a the back of her own head. Luke’s illusion still stood beside Outrider as if she hadn’t moved. She looked at Chimera again, the heroine could only shrug and give her a thumbs up. Jamie replied with a ‘call me’ hand sign, then looked around at the other heroes and mouthed a ‘thank you’. “MasTEr sAid haD wa-WasTeD Po-tEn-tiAL.” Brute said as he walked ahead of them. The big guy started to turn and look back as Jamie was trying to slip off but stopped to look at Luke as he answered the young man. Giving the girl enough time to reach the entrance to the alley and the safety beyond. “MAsTeR saYs he iS alWasys NeArby, But BrUte aLwaYs hAs to WAlk to FinD hiM.” He says as if saying something sagely. Reaching the end of the alleyway, Brute pauses to look up and down the street. The big man looks back at the group following him, his too wide eyes drifting over everyone and settling for a tense moment on the Jamie-illusion before he nods and gives them a ‘follow me’ motion. Turning he walks out of the alley to cross the street and enter another alley on the other side. They small band follows the large man for several blocks, with Brute pausing once or twice before declaring the direction to continue in. Finally, half way down an alley, Brute stops before a set of unmarked doors. He squints at them I thoughtfully for a moment then reaches out and grabs both doors. Pulling them open, the dim light from outside barely reveals anything inside, but Brute seems to know where he’s going as he ducks inside. The room is a large open storage one that doesn’t look to have been used in years. He heads directly to a set of doors set in the floor. Opening them reveals a set of steps leading down. Brute looks back a the group with a off-putting smile, obviously proud of himself. “SeE, foUNd waY WithOUt Help FrOm ChaRLes.”
  2. Chimera Chimera tensed as Brute handed Jamie over to Outrider. Once she was in the girl’s arms and the big man turned to walk she relaxed a little. After the surprise of the illusion and a bit of mimed back and forth with her fiend she was glad to see her Jamie heading back towards the alley’s entrance. She nodded to the armored heroine as Outrider signaled to them. Chimera watched as Luke distracted the Brute long enough for Jamie to get safely out of the alley. The three seemed to be more experienced at this then she was, and she was grateful they had been around when this happened. With a renewed confidence she followed the large man as they continued on to meet this ‘master’ of his.
  3. Leon frowned, but it was quickly replaced with a look of determination. “Muirne’s right. We keep moving and find this psycho. Then, we bring him and his lackeys down.” He stepped back from the obsidian prison and turned in the direction of the station again. “It can’t be too much further.” He commented, half lost in thought. “If he’s not there, I guess we can let El knock some heads until they tell us where he is.”
  4. Leon looked back at the red head he was leading as she stopped. “What?” He glanced where she was pointing. Details blurred as he tried to focus on them. He shook his head and tried to pull her along again. “I have to get you to safety.” He said again even as she resisted his tugging. “Richard can look out for himself.” He said angrily giving her one last pull before turned on her and snapping. “Damn it Elizabeth, why won’t you let me protect you for a change!” And like that, a switch was flipped… The image of the short haired red-head before him scattered like a mist hit by a strong wind, and He was holding Holly’s hand again. Leon’s eyes were wide as he stared at her for a moment, trying to sort though what was happening. He let go of Holly’s hand, letting it slip free as he took a step back. His eyes darted around the club, finally settling on the confrontation at the DJ’s stand were Luke was facing off with some masked man over the slumped body of the DJ. Wait, is are there two people on the ground. He looked back at Holly again apologetically, like he wanted to say something but only turned away from her. Turning on duo the paper in his hand stiffened and he stalked toward them, pushing through the crowd still under the strange effects. He didn’t know what was happening exactly, bu the was going to find out. Papers wizzed through the air to slice through the wires of the music equipment to silence the noise. “Alright buddy, step off! I don’t know what your up to, but we’re gonna put a stop to it.” Leon jabbed a finger at Ghost accusingly.
  5. Initiative if needed: 18
  6. Fort save: 29 Shoot ? was kinda hoping to drag it out a little longer.
  7. Leon stood with his hands in his pockets, watching as Ryder changed. A few sheets of paper responded as Chitin landed in the honey, blocking the stray drops sent splattering. He watched as Ryder and Bee examined the machine, giving them room when she mentioned something needing help. “Hmm?” Leon turned to look where she was indicating, noticing the small active lightning for the first time. “What in hell? How did I not see that?” He glanced over at Bee. “How are suppose to help that? I mean, what even is it?”
  8. Chimera barely even acknowledged the older man behind the desk, her attention on Freestyle. The woman had made a fool of her earlier today and she was wasn’t going to let it happen again. “Found you.” Maybe the disc was faulty or maybe Chimera was just that angry, but she just shrugged off the jolt. She grabbed the disc, yanked it off and crushed it in her hand. Letting the pieces fall to the floor as she opened her hand. “Not this time.” Chimera didn’t seem to even notice Ghost as he grabbed the man and disappeared through the floor. She growled and rushed forward with incredible speed. Her hand lashing out to grab for Freestyle.
  9. Chimera is gonna try for a grapple: 17 HP to reroll...: 27 I actually rerolled and got 2 again. ?
  10. @NerdzulLooking in UP, I think it should last until he succeeds on a save. Given your rank I think he gets a new save each day. That said, he maybe friendly towards you, but I think if a valid reason for his attitude to change occurs he will get a new save. Does that sound fair? So if you wanna drop it to use you illusion it should be fine. If you want to edit or make a second post it should be okay.
  11. Paper doesn’t have any of those either.
  12. Fort save: 19
  13. Leon thought he was going to choke for a moment as he bit back the laugh at El’s unintentional, straightman delivery. “I will be happy to explain it later.” He managed as the trio continued along the nearly empty streets. Several times cop cars passed them and Leon wanted to spit on them, but he kept his saliva to himself. His good humor quickly soured further as they began to come across victims of this ‘Ex-Prisoner’ character. He pauses for a moment, getting as close as he dared to one of the mineral-prisons, staring deep into it at the poor soul trapped within. “Think they’re... dead?” He asked in a solemn tone neither girl would probably associate with the normally light-hearted and joking, goof-off.
  14. Leon spotted the machine as Zenith cleared away the honey. Crossing the honey stained ground he crouched by the overturned vehicle to examine it. He didn’t recognize the weird crystals set into the hardware, but some of them appeared to be cracked and he was sure that wasn’t good. Standing up he stretched a little then looked back towards where Super Bee and Ryder were talking to a... worker? Drone? The other bee. He gave a high, sharp whistle at them, followed by. “Hey! S.B., think we found it.” He waited for at least Super Bee to join him by the contraption. “Think you can carry it?” He asked and offered. “I can make a sling or straps if need’em.”
  15. “Help you?” Leon glanced back at girl he was pulling along as he continued to try maneuvering the two of them through the crowd. “Of course I wanna help you.” He said in a tone that sounded almost disappointed that she even had to ask. Something in the back of his mind registered something was still wrong. In fact thing we’re even more wrong. It was small things, her hair was a little more shorter. The shape of her eyes were a little different. She was a little taller now... Leon shook his head again and ran his hand over his face. “I just gotta get you somewhere safe.” He said as he turned and shouldered someone aside, reaching into his open jacket and pulling out a handful of small, index-sized pieces of paper. The paper seeming to waver slightly with a life of their own.
  16. I’m going to voluntarily fail my save. I wanna keep this up a little longer. ?
  17. Initiative: 13
  18. Leon watched the cars pass, giving them an impolite gesture as they did. Returning Muirne friendly glare with a playful smirk. As they walked, his gaze wandered here and there, watching for anyone moving around outdoors still. After some fifteen minutes Muirne was brave enough to bring up the point that none of them knew where they were actually headed. He cocked his head and gave her an amused grin. “Ah, yes. My greatest power, Detect Pork.” “Let me see.” Leon put his hand to his forehead in mock concentration. If the few ‘field trips’ he, his brother and sister had gone on taught him anything he had a rough idea where the local sheriffs’ office might be. He scanned the surrounding buildings to judge the layout. “My best guess, that away.” He pointed off at an angle from the street they were on. “I say another three or four blocks and we make a turn. Shouldn’t be too far off.”
  19. Leon chuckled and shook his head as Super-Bee gave him the elevator pitch for her time traveling adventure. “Okay, I gotta hear that one later.” The big bee’s cheerful attitude was surprisingly contagious. Hopping off her back hebgave a whistle as he slowly looked around at the huge flowers. “Even after a week, this is still pretty cool to see.” Walking forward some, he crouched down and reached out to touched the sticky substance. “Is anyone else imagining a world’s slowest tidal wave?” He chuckled and stood up again. Leon focused his attention now, shifting too a more serious attitude. He headed towards the ruptured tank, conscious of the bees all around the area. His eyes shifted from here to there searching for details.
  20. Is there any paper or paper like materials used in the machine? Something Paper might be able to sense? Search: 24
  21. Okay let’s try some Streetwise: 25
  22. "Oooh, I never heard it called that." Leon nodded. "I'll help with that." He volunteer as he raised his hand, a little bit out of boredom and a little out of curiosity. Leon smirked at Gaian's bee related pun before elbowing the now humanoid Davyd. "Oh, sure they can get coffee and tea, but I can't find a can of Dr. Pepper for the life of me." "Wait, what!" Leon exclaimed as he carefully climbed aboard the humongous pollinator behind the towering blonde he didn't know and looked back at Davyd as is for conformation. "The only time traveling I've done was to the 80's and all we got to do was punch some wannabe surfer dude-bro."
  23. Leon was a little surprised by Fleur de Joie’s arrival. He thought he remember seeing her shortly after their arrival, but he’d been busy and hadn’t gotten a good look and… Did she just call that giant bee Beeanca? Leon couldn’t place the accent, but the guy was talking like he was out of some a A.C. Doyle’s novel or something. He almost lost it at the ‘Man-honey’ bit, but manage to control himself. He raised a finger as if to say something, thought about it and shook his head. “Too easy.” He’d seen Ryder around before and knew Davyd from school, so he wasn’t all that surprised by them. But when Bee popped up to her human size he was a little upset with himself for not noticing her before that, then remember: oh ya, giant distracting bee. "Brave? Is that what we're calling it?" He smirked. "Poe and Dickens? Sounds more like Wells." Leon commented completely unimpressed with his declaration of time travel. One of his fellow students was straight out of a Mad Max movie future. At Davyd's mention of the Sayer of the Law he cocked his head a little. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised he's read that." He thought to himself. "You'd be surprised." Leon says. "But if you wanna have a chance to get home, you might wanna apologize and convince the terrifyingly large bee that you're not a threat." He points up at Super-Bee. "Then I'm sure we can help you retrieve your machine and get you on your way. No harm, no foul... Well, maybe after you have a chance to clean yourself up like Mr. Knight suggested. And after the kids geek out over your ride."
  24. Knowledge, Pop Culture 19 Missed it by... that much. Edit: Is he carrying any paper or paper-like material?
