Leon watched Knievel toss Luke aside, almost feeling the impact as he collided with Eira. That seemed to push Pan's big red button. He supposed he could understand, if he had seen someone toss Robert or Elizabeth into one another he'd be angry too. Luckily though, neither of them were even here and Leon could keep his cool. Drawing the paper back to him, the whip looped upon itself even as the paper fluttered and reshaped into a large bow. The paper in his other hand forming into a over-sized arrow, he set it to the bow string and drew it back. Aiming was a formality really, his thoughts and wishes guided his paper. With a snap, the large arrow flew straight following close behind Pan. As the older boy's feint carried him past the villain, Leon's arrow cuts through the air right for Knievel's chest trailing a ribbon of paper all the way back to Leon. A moment before it would strike him though, the arrow erupts into a flurry of paper ribbons that attempt to wrap around and ensnare him.

Snare attempt. Ranged attack: 13... So another HP it is... Ranged attack (reroll): 21 A little better. Reflex save DC 18 I believe.

Okay, Chimera changes course to intercept the 2 armored goons heading for Shift.

Jennifer easily kept up with the flying armored suits as she picked her way through both traffic and pedestrians, keeping an eye on them as she did so. When she spotted two of the minions... Was that the right term? She supposed it was... two of the minions break off and seemed to turn back. It almost looked as if they where heading toward street level a block over. If they were splitting up it was gonna make it more difficult to follow, but she reasoned that if she could just keep an eye on the golden one that seemed to be the leader, it would be the best option. Then a worried thought struck her, if those two where heading down to the street civilians could get caught up. Civilians? And what was she? She wasn't anyone of authority. Still, she couldn't let someone get hurt if she could help it. Rachael would never forgive her if she didn't try. Before she could act though something happened up in the air. A real hero had appeared in white and grey, the man confronting the armored leader. If a real, costumed hero as on the scene should she just stop then? She could duck away, and just go home. Surely the bank would let her reschedule. But then she remembered the other two. If the hero was dealing with those three, the others could get away or worse, hurt someone. "Son-of-a..." She cursed at herself even as she turned down a side street. Moving to intercept the two armored goons she had no idea where they, themselves moving to intercept another hero-to-be.

Leon watched as Knievel leveled the weapon. He knew he as faster but he was looking for an opening. Reaching into he jacket he realized he hesitated too long and the villain fired at Pan, obviously not happy with the shadows grabbing at him. Leon winced a little at the explosion, sparing only a quick glance back. He didn’t see any signs of anyone injured and returned his attention to Knievel to see Pan’s shadow had entangled him even more. He hadn’t needed Pan’s cue, though he appreciated the head’s up, he saw the opening he was looking for and took it. Leon pulled out two hand fulls of paper and with the flick of his wrist one hand full lashed out like a whip towards the villain, the paper just missing the weapon as Knievel jerked under Pan’s attack. Leon though, had complete control over his paper and with another flicker of thought the paper tendril twisted mid-strike and snaked around the barrel of the cannon. Setting his feet Leon yanked at the paper to try to pull the cannon from Knievel’s grasp, really more of a symbolic motion since the paper was doing all the work.

Okay, using a HP to reroll the attack. And let’s try to use the right modifiers this time. After asking in chat, Pan’s aid applies to the attack not the oppsosed check. d20 +8(attack)-4(ranged disarm)+5(aid) 13 Rolled a 4, so HP makes it 23 which should hit the DC 22. Now that means the opposed strength is only 19 without Pan’s aid.
-
Never mind I just realized I used the wrong modifier. The total would only have been 16, which I just noticed would miss.
-
Okay, so we’re lookin at a Ranged Disarm. Attack roll: d20 +13(Move Obejct) -4(ranged disarm) 21 Opposed roll: d20 +12(Move Object using paper) +5(aid from Pan) 24

How high in the air are they?

I had figured that I would have to fall back in initiative, which is why I hadn't posted yet. I just wasn't sure if I had to post Leon asking for Pan's help IC or something special. So then, I guess Leon falls behind Pan in turn order and I'll wait for your post.

Double moving is fine for now.

Sticking to streets and alleyways will probably hinder Chimera’s movement, but double moving should help her keep up right. Or would she have to take to the rooftops for a clearer path?
-
I'm okay with holding for aid. Next in initiative is Kevial and FB with matching rolls. So I assume that means waiting for Pan to aid somehow? Should I hold off posting till after Pan's post?

I want to try to snare the weapon. I was thinking an attempt to seal the 'barrel' of the launcher with some kind of tether and pull it out of his hands? I'm hoping that even if I can't take it away from him, he still won't be able to fire it. So that be a ranged disarm attempt right?

Jennifer's morning had already been going poorly. She'd already had to spend her Sunday morning downtown running errands. The microwave in her dorm room had 'mysteriously' stopped working. And when she told her roommate 'mysteriously', she had meant the alien symbiote she was bonded with had 'eaten' part of it when she wasn't paying attention. So she felt responsible for replacing it. Not that big of a deal normally but when her parents had transfer the money she asked to borrow to her account there had been a 'hick-up' as the nice, matter-of-fact lady on the phone had put it. So here she was at the bank to talk to a representative when a couple of yahoos in armored get ups knock the bank over. Jennifer had done her best to remain calm while they had, she assumed, broken into a safe or something and collected their, whatever it was they were after. She couldn't actually do anything with a bank full of witnesses. Their goodies in hand, the villains proceeded to smash their way out through the giant windows and out onto the sidewalk. In the moments after the bank staff and customers exploded into chaos. Jennifer stared out the broken window watching as the thieves seemed to hesitate before taking to the air. In the distance she could hear the sirens as they converged on the bank. "What the hell and I thinking?" She thought, even as her feet started to take steps towards the shatter glass. She had almost no experience. What was she actually gonna do? She could just follow them and when they stopped, she would call the cops. There was no need for her to actually confront them. Yeah, that was is. And like that, Jennifer was through the broken window and running down the sidewalk. She was still dressed in the skirt and blouse she wore on interviews. She had wanted to look as professional as she could when dealing with the bank, but she was regretting it now. She wished for some loose jeans, or better yet her track clothes. She wasn't wearing her running shoes either, but not for the first time she was thankful for the flats she preferred over heels. It wasn't until she was able to duck down and alley in pursuit that she was finally able to call on the symbiote. It reacted almost instantly, the techno-organic material seeping out of her skin and spreading like tendrils around her limbs and body. It crept up along her neck and across her cheeks and then a thin layer grew across her nose and mouth like some weird bandit mask. The tendrils did little to nothing to hide her clothes but with the 'mask' she felt comfortable enough to actually run at full speed.

Literature based shenanigans? Paper is only PL8, but if you can’t find someone higher he’d be happy to help.

Blackstaff turned to see Alaynah come up on deck. When she draws her gun and levels it at Dreamer he raises a hand towards her, his fingers in strange positions like he about to cast something. But Zach interceded first and he let his hand lower a little and turned his attention to Advay. He holds up a finger to signal him to wait and turns back to Dreamer, across from him. "Look, I understand you think you're doing what you think is right, but this is getting more complicated. I'm sure we can talk about this, but we can't do that if you drop us ashore." He says calmly.

As he looked around with the others, it wasn’t too hard to spot most of the people that had rode the Delirium with them. Some were obviously angry and confused as to why their smartphones weren’t working properly. Most, if not all, of their social media accounts not even existing yet. Leon had to resist the urge to smirk at their reactions. He looked at Pan and was about to ask just what the other thought he could do. “What do you want me to do? Create flyers the say ‘If you think it’s still 2020 please return to the ride for a selfie. #dontfreakout’.” Before he could continue some dud-bro showed up on a... flying skateboard? Leon let out an audible groan as he listened to the new arrival’s ramblings.“I think I actually took Intelligence damage from the sheer stupidity of everything you just said.” He glanced back at Eira for a moment, did she actually look concerned? Looking back to the villain with the flying skateboard. “Listen up Cap’n Point Break-reject, you don’t wanna do this tonight. We’re having bad night as it is. So, how bout you turn around and go find a frat party you can crash before my friend here has to show you just how small your board is.”
