(GM Post) "Why did you ask if you weren't even going to believe us!?" Snowfall yelled at him in anger. "If you didn't want us to answer your question, you shouldn't have asked it!" She said with clear frustration, as emotional as Bazz was but in the opposite direction, getting furious at the Radioactive Cockroach Kid who she was finding more and more confusing. In a rage she lashed out at Golden Star, who was currently attempting to punch through Fellwrought and failing, and summoned an Ice Dagger, stabbing him directly in the side. "We'll just take our your friend, and then once you're incapacitated we'll make you talk in normal words!" She declared to Buzz, clenching her fist and shaking it at him. Fellwrought gave no such words, he just slammed his polearm into Michael and sent the golden boy crashing into the ground in a crater, dazing him on the backswing. "Just kill them both and take the gem." he said to Snowfall.

(GM Post) "No. You have to be worthy and chosen by the power in question. I'm sure there's some kind of requirement, your soul, your behavior has to match up to what the power has, in it's own way; Mine picked me because I'm graceful, I guess. Zoe's picked her because she's strong, Estelle's because she's skillful, Kitty because she's caring, stuff like that. You'd need to use dark magic, evil powers, force the Sentry power out of the crystal to steal it. It's not something you can do easy, and it's bound to me right now, so you wouldn't get that one." she explained. "If you wanted to try and get a power, well...you'd have to hope it picks you; so when you're at the edge of your wits and have nothing left, maybe if you call out to the Umbra Star and ask for the power to do something good for the world, you could get your own power. Or maybe not. Who knows how this thing works." she admitted. "Well, Enoch did, but he got killed, so now we're all just fumbling around blind." her correction was quick but clearly stinging for her to admit. "But yeah. If you want to play it that way, I can draw them out and you can bounce on them afterwards." she nodded at them. "And no. I'm not a coward." she said to Carmen, glaring a little. "If you want to go another round I'll step up to you right now, hole in my side or not."

(GM Post) Ronove smiled. "Come now, I'm a Demon, dear boy. We don't have to deal with such measures as a cell phone, unless you really want me to." he smiled. It was hard to tell where Luther was while he was inside this building. He'd have to go outside to see. And that'd be hard without revealing himself. He wasn't in a good way to figure out where exactly he was. He needed a chance to step outside if he was going to figure out where he was, and then what? Ronove leaned back in his chair. "You give me your address in Hollywood, and when you get there, there will be as many cases of Joy as you're willing to buy sitting on your doorstep or patio. After that, each month on the new moon, you'll put an envelope of cash on your doorstep- or your patio, if you're living in an apartment up high-, and the next day, you'll have your Joy waiting on you. Easy, fast, smooth. We only do it this way here because I like the fun games Zander plays with the shuffling around. I'd suggest you do it that way over there too; make the 'drops' something special, you know? That'll really get people into the feeling of having to buy it, because who knows if they'll get an invite to the next one?" he grinned his devilish grin and leaned back. "So, how many cases do you want to buy?"

alright! Fellwrought isn't interposing this. Now their turn. Snowfall's going to hurl an Ice Lance at Bazz! Michael will Intercept! Attack Roll Results 1d20+12: 30 [1d20=18] jeez. DC 23 on Michael Toughness Results 1d20+12: 21 [1d20=9] Which he flubs. Bruise and Injury on Michael Fellwrought's going to follow it up on Michael. Attack Roll Results 1d20+6: 12 [1d20=6] He flubs at least. @Supercape your turn! 33- Buzz- 2HP - 1x Bruise/Injury 16- Golden Star- 2HP - 1x Bruise/Injury 9- Snowfall- 1x Bruise 8- Fellwrought-

(GM Post) "This bug is really annoying!" Snowfall complained as the wave washed over them. It had clearly affected her, but even she wasn't one hundred percent sure how. She summoned up a spear of ice to try and hurl it at Buzz, but the other shiny boy deflected it- though not without damage-, and she became even more incensed. "Argh! Both of these two are annoying! They're just as bad as the Sentries! She yelled at her compatriot, who was busy eating a punch from Michael before he swung back with his polearm, but went wide. The armored warrior adjusted his spear and shield as he stared down Michael and Bazz. "Bug, if you aren't already aware of why we're here, then you've stepped into the wrong engagement and I would suggest you leave. We are here to reclaim the powers of the Umbra Star for Queen Sola, that were stolen from her by her traitorous advisor, Enoch, and he ran with them. Across a hundred dimensions he traveled, and across a hundred dimensions she chased him; in each he gave up part of the Umbra Star's power to fight her, and in each Sola stole back a little more. Now that the Umbra Star is releasing so much power, we finally have the chance to obtain all of it, and return our world to it's rightful place." he said. He was stone-faced and serious, even as he explained all of this. "The Scutum, as you called it, is but one of the powers of the Umbra Star. And Lord Pavo is currently obtaining it from the Sentry that we felt when we arrived. Which leaves us to obtain the power of the Taurus that we also found on our scanners, which was promised to Snowfall."

(Golden Star Post) As Buzz washed over the pair of shadow creatures from another dimension with a blast of terrible radiation, Michael dove fearlessly in after it- but only after it was fully out of the way- to try and punch through the armored creature's shell. He struck the shield at full force with his glowing fist, but it barely budged; he wasn't able to piece through the armor, backed by the strength of the Leo. "Woah, this guy's tough as heck..." Michael mumbled to himself. "These shadow people aren't fooling around." He winced, making sure he could feel all his fingers. But when a lance of Ice threatened to stab Buzz, he flew up to meet it, catching it on his arm and drawing a gash that immediately froze over as he deflected the spear away from buzz. "Well if he's going to sit there blocking for her, I'm going to keep you safe too, Buzz." he declared to his classmate, his face set in a serious manner as he flew back down into the fray.

(GM Post) "Mmmm." Ronove pondered, tapping his cane on the ground a little. Thinking. Mulling it over. Finally he sighed. "You've got a point I suppose, Eric. I don't have the capability to leave The Greens right now, but selling Joy somewhere else would be a big benefit to me actually being able to leave this city sometime this decade or so. And letting you do it does seem expedient, even if your enthusiasm is...almost concerning." he chuckled. "Side effects, huh? The Side effects of Joy is two fold. Both designed to make it so that you spend more and more on Joy. The first is that it's highly addicting, of course. Who wouldn't want to be happy all the time. Who wouldn't want to never feel bad again? But that feeds directly into the second one. That you will start to always want more, and more. Joy is Happiness, unrestrained, unrestricted, unbarred and unbothered. It's Happiness untinged by the nagging worries; the Vacation to Disney World without having to worry about finances, the promotion at work without having to sell your soul. Your own happiness will eventually pale in comparison to what Joy gives you, because it's 'free', it's 'easy', it's 'simple'. That's your side effect; that you stop feeling happy unless you're on Joy, because all your happy memories become part of Joy."

pretty good! Give me an IC post!

(GM Post) "They stick to the Lincoln area. With rising crime in the area, and all the kids, it makes them more likely to get Sentry powers, which they can then take out quickly. They'll venture out if they get a lead, but they're very cautious. Grus has always been the most wary of all of her Commanders; I don't know why, but she's definitely paranoid, hard to handle because of it, she'll flee at the first whiff of trouble." Jennifer explained, moving to lean against the wall and rub her hurt side. "They stick close to the blocks between Kimona, Fremont, South River, and M street. If I had to guess, they're holding onto a lair somewhere in that set of blocks; there's a few abandoned buildings and churches that they may be hiding out on, and I've heard people suggesting they've seen 'weird' things, but it could have been other superheroes just as easily as it could have been Grus or her underlings." That was a fairly large section of Lincoln; comprising an area 7 blocks North to South in length and 5 Blocks East to West in width. A 35 block area, roughly in the heart of Lincoln. "I'm willing to do whatever I can to help, but I'm not gonna be much good in a fight. Especially if I can't transform, so that's something to be aware of." She said. She was resolute at least, willing to do what she needed to do, even if she was hurt or risking herself; a delinquent she may be, a troublemaker she definitely was, but it was also easy to tell why she was chosen for her powers, because she still had a strong resolve despite being outclassed and hurt.

(GM Post) "Eric. Eric Eric." The man tsked. "Isn't that dangerous? To take your own product, to use your own merchandise. That's how you end up getting your arms chopped off south of the border, isn't it? At least that's how I've heard it. I admit that my knowledge has quite a few gaps, given how long I was napping." Ronove said, finally completing his circuit to stand in front of Eric, leaning on his cane. "Are you really willing to deal but also take Joy? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that; the product needs to be spread out to cause the most issue, not hoarded by one single person...unless you make it a game. Then, I suppose, you could have quite some fun with it." he pondered again, always thinking. "But asking about Long Term effects, oh, that's the question of an addict, not a seller. A seller doesn't care what happens so long as the money keeps flowing. So tell me Eric, are you a Seller, or a Buyer? I don't know that you can be both. I'll gladly sell you as much Joy as you have money to burn, but I'm not sure I'm willing to set you up with a distribution contract." he moved to sit down, and a crimson plush armchair appeared behind him to catch him as he sat, still holding his cane in front of him. "Give me a plan, Eric. Just off the top of your head, let's play a little Shark Tank. Think on your feet and pitch me; why should I be looking at you as a distributor, as someone I'm trusting to take my business to Hollywood, instead of as someone I'm just going to sell a truck full of Joy to right now and never think of again until you run out?"

A successful roll!
