  1. Cape, I think you misunderstood my message in chat. You already handled Scarab disabling the security and both Tiff and I have posted since then. But Tiff indicated Scarab wanted to try to disable the weapons, and that is still pending. I really have nothing to post for Tsunami, as she is just hiding in the shadows, watching and listening, and I have already posted that once, no real need to post it again.
  2. GM As the Praetorians arrived to engage the Spectrum Knights, the remaining Lor peacekeepers on the scene pulled away from the combat and instead began focusing on getting bystanders clear of the area around the conflict. The slivery bonds conjured by Moon-Moth struck the red armored Spectrum Knight, who was unable to dodge the attempt to bind him. The silvery magic wrapped around the Spectrum Knight, binding his arms to his side and fully trapping him within its confines. While another Spectrum Knight was removed from the battle (if only potentially temporarily), the Orange armored Spectrum Knight shifted its attention on Moon-Moth. Raising its armored gauntlets toward the magic using Praetorian, the Spectrum Knight fired a blast of orange energy, but the armored villain’s aim was not more accurate than the previous attack against Moon-Moth. Meanwhile, the yellow and grey Spectrum Knights turned their attention on Paradigm. The yellow Spectrum Knight first fired an energy blast at the Naram, hitting her to no effect as before. The grey armored being tried to follow up on the blast to combined their damage, but rushed its attack, missing Paradigm instead.
  3. Okay, the Red SK tries to make his Reflex check, but fails with a 15, so is bound and helpless. The Orange SK will again attack Moon-Moth, and again misses badly with a 12. The Yellow SK will use the aid action (against Hyperslice) to try to help the Grey SK with +2 damage, succeeding in the aid check with a 26. The Grey SK attacks Hyperslice, but misses with a 13.
  4. GM Hyperslice's attack proved rather less effective than she might have hoped. The insectoid orange hued Spectrum Knight had managed to dodge away from Hyperslice's blurring attack. The Spectrum Knight in yellow colored armor was far less successful, taking a hit from Hyperslice. However, while the Spectrum Knight appeared injured by the attack, it appeared to only be a minor one, and the armored figure remained in the fight. Outside the area of Hyperslice's attack, two other Spectrum Knights (one with blue colored armor, and the other, a hulking humanoid, in red) moved around to flank the Praetorians. The Blue armored Spectrum Knight tried to follow the tactics of the now unconscious green armored humanoid, and tried to entrap Paradigm in a bubble of blue energy. But as before, the Naram managed to fly out of the bubble before it fully enclosed her. Meanwhile, the hulking red armored Spectrum Knight fired an red energy blast at Hyperslice. But while the Haasaan heroine was off her game somewhat, she still easily avoided the attack with ease.
  5. The blue spectrum knight is going to try to follow the plan outlined by the green SK and trap Paradigm, but she easily avoids again with a 29 on her Reflex check. The red SK will blast at Hyperslice, missing with a 17. So, we are on: Round Two 25 Moon-Moth (unharmed, 3 HP) 25 Orange Spectrum Knight (unharmed) 20 Yellow Spectrum Knight (bruised) 20 Grey Spectrum Knight (unharmed) 18 Paradigm (unharmed, 3 HP) 15 Hyperslice (unharmed, 2 HP) 13 UFO (unharmed, 1 HP) 13 Traveller (unhramed, 1 HP) 9 Blue Spectrum Knight (unharmed) 2 Red Spectrum Knight (unharmed) Back to Moon-Moth! Rocket, though you are further down the initiative order, you (and Traveller) are still generally "out of combat" so, when you have time, you can go ahead and post with UFO catching up with the Kavaca and Traveller.

  7. Veronica Veronica had just been about to respond to Tyler when she heard Nicole's voice just before the senior appeared along with fellow senior Alex Lloydd. The teenage Danger smiled at the two older students as they drew closer only to have a slightly confused look on her face as Nicole thrust out her barely touched Frappuccino to her. "Um, thanks Nicole." Taking the drink with a smile, Veronica turned to Tyler as Nicole asked about him. "This is Tyler, a new student, Headmistress Summers asked me to give him a tour and help get him orriented. Tyler, this is Nicole and Alex, two seniors here."
  8. So, looking at the Atlantic City school district, Spring Break is April 18th through the 28th. So figure we would say that is when Claremont has its Spring Break as well?
  9. GM The three Praetorians and Flux approached the small Lor station, which was located on one of the larger asteroids in the belt. As Queenie flew around it briefly while waiting for some of the others to catch up with her, she saw no obvious signs of damage to the station. Everything seemed intact and in good condition. As Flux approached, he saw the station looked just as it had when he had briefly stopped here after he had managed to free himself from the singularity. It was running on minimum power, meaning most of the lighting was currently off, but the main airlock would be operational.
  10. Paradigm After the four members of the group heading toward the Lor station were clear of the hanger, Paradigm shut the doors once more and began the process of repressurizing the room while making her way through the airlock entrance back into the central section of the vessel. Soon she was back up on the upper deck and on the Devotion's bridge. "They are on their way to the station. Try to keep monitor as best as our sensors will allow with the interference." The Naram stated to those still on the bridge as she took her seat once more, looking up at the viewscreen and the image of the Lor station beyond. The small figures of the four individuals sent to investigate the station just visible at the normal magnification of the viewscreen. For the moment there was little for her to do, other than watch and wait, something she had become more familiar with since taking on the responsibility of the title of Imperatrix.
  11. Veronica Veronica noted the change in Tyler's attitude, disappointed that things had started off so badly for him. "Do not be so sure." She stated at his comment about everyone known what he was and his expectation as to what that might mean at the school. "The Headmistress is not one to go around reveling personal information about students, so she certainly has not been talking about you or the nature of your abilities to the students here." She paused a moment and then added. "I have the ability to sense magic and its nature, so I pretty much knew once I saw you. But I do not go around talking about other students abilities. As for the Smith sisters, not to excuse them, but they can be a bit paranoid, as they are dimensional refugees from an alternate Earth were things were pretty bad. I think you will find that there are plenty of students here that are more open minded about students that are more unusual." The teenage Danger then grinned slightly as Tyler commented about the gym being a good place to blow off some steam. "Yeah, the gym can be a pretty good stress reliever, but there is actually something on campus that is one better, but we will get to that a little later."
  12. GM The council members had been talking amongst themselves after learning the information of what was going on elsewhere from Elite. When Traveller and Cavallier spoke up, they focused back on the Praetorians. "We will get as many as possible to the most secure areas we have." One of the council members responded to Cavallier’s comment about getting people to safety. She then began making calls. "We still have our defensive fleet in orbit." Another council member responded. "While they might not be enough to stand up to a full invasion force from the Khanate, they could serve to harass any such attack and possible interfere with communications." "There are a number of civilian vessels on world that we may be able to call upon to assist with trying to jam communications in the system." Another added. "They might be quick to run from any sign of a fight, but at least could temporarily cause some disruption in any invasion force." "We have a sizable militia." Added the older council member finally. "They are fairly well trained and quite brave, but they might not be any more effective against that mechanical monstrosity in the bay than our fleet was. As for a possible location where it terrain could be used against it, there is a sizable area of swamp land about ten miles north of the city. There are many subterranean caverns and soft land that could cause it problems."
  13. Veronica Veronica gave a small smile when Kam teased about her not being boring. When he offered to provide assistance in trying to clear permission to revisit the dig site to further investigate the robbery attempt, a thoughtful look came to the teenage Danger's face. "If it comes to that it would be appreciated Kam. I will mention it to Aunt Rachel when I am able to talk to her tomorrow." She then gave Liz a smile. "I will take you up on the offer to research Liz. We are going to need to get the mask somewhere safe and secure. Once we do, I will see about us having a chance go look at it more closely for some time to see what else we might be able to learn." "I do not know when we will be able to get this all organized, but I will be sure to include both of you on the list of those involved. I imagine the Thule Society is not going to give up on this so easily."
  14. Okay, I will go with the Blue SK being the bluff target Ari, but he makes his Sense Motive check with a 24, so is not fooled into trying to shoot you and possibly hitting one of his friends if he missed. The Orange SK gets a 29 on the Reflex check to avoid the area attack, and with Evasion, avoids it completely. The Yellow SK is not so lucky, only getting a 8. She gets a 21 on her toughness save, so is bruised.
  15. Paradigm Turning back to face the Spectrum Knights after escaping the attempt to trap her, Paradigm let out a slight sigh. "Very well, we will do this the more difficult way." She stated before focusing on the green Spectrum Knight, who appeared to have a bit more tactical acumen than his companions. As she started towards the green armored foe, Moon-Moth fired one of his mystical blasts at the same opponent to distract him from her impending attack. The tactic worked perfectly, with the Spectrum Knight shifting his attention just enough that when he realized Paradigm was closing, it was already too late. *WHAM* Paradigm's powerful blow stuck the Spectrum Knight full force in his midsection, doubling him over as he was sent flying backward. The force of the impact carried the armored humanoid over a hundred feet through the air before he slammed into the side of a building and the fell a short distance onto a balcony, where he lay unconscious.
  16. Paradigm will fix her array to (13 PP for Enhanced Str; 8 PP for Flight (up to 5 ranks); 10 PP for Superstrength) and fly over to attack the green Spectrum Knight, getting a 18, which would normally miss, but hits with the aid action from Moon-Moth. The green SK only gets a 15 vs DC 33, so he is out! That brings up Hyperslice! @Ari
  17. GM The gathered Spectrum Knights took a moment to take in the appearance of the Praetorians, then, one of them, an apparently insectorid sentient in Orange colored armor was the first to react, acting with blinding speed. "We will not *tik* bow down to oppressors!" It called out, raising one hand to send a blast of orange energy at Paradigm. The attack struck true, not that Paradigm tried to really dodge it, but impacted harmlessly on the Naram. The green colored Spectrum Knight was the next to act, flying up slightly the humanoid commented on his companion’s ineffective attack. "She will require a combined effort to deal with. In the meantime try to isolate her until we can deal with the others." With that statement, the armored figure gestured towards the Praetorian Imperatrix as a blowing green sphere began to form around her. But before the sphere could completely close, Paradigm soared out of the center, escaping the attempt to trap her inside. The yellow armored Spectrum Knight turned her attention toward Moon-Moth, while the Grey armored figure selected Hyperslice. Both armored figures fired blasts of energy matching the color of their armor at the two Praetorians, but both targets managed to avoid the attacks.
  18. Okay, the Orange SK is going to fire an energy blast at Paradigm, hitting with a 27, but the attack glances harmlessly off her Impervious. The Green SK will then try to trap Paradigm in a energy construct, but Paradigm avoids the construct with a 26 on her Reflex save. The Yellow SK will fire an energy blast at Moon-Moth, but misses with a 12. The Grey SK will fire an energy blast at Hyperslice, also missing with a 17.
  19. GM Both Laark and Soreen readied their weapons as Ermorada and several Kurabanda exited the flyer with them, looking in awe at the Xeno. Scanning the vessel, Starshot did not see any sign of anyone inside the vessel or any indication that anyone had entered it since he and his crew had set off into the dessert. Now that he studied it a bit closer, Starshot realized that only portions of the vessel were less covered than before, the sand having shifted off them, while other parts were by contrast buried under even more than before. Looking back at the aft section where the ATV was kept, it was still about half buried, but at least some of the sand had shifted away, meaning it would be a bit less of an effort to dig it out if they so choose.
  20. Veronica Veronica frowned slightly at Ashley's comment and Judy's reaction to it. The teenage Danger had known almost immediately about the nature of Tyler's abilities, but had not let that influence her impression of the teenager. "Sure, there is quite a bit more to see." Veronica replied when Tyler suggested they continue the tour. "See you two later." She said with a friendly enough smile to the two sisters before leading Tyler on through the passage in the main building to the open grounds beyond. Just beyond the passage was another small building behind which was another larger building. "So, this is the school chapel." Veronica indicated before pointing toward the larger building behind it. "That is gymnasium, a building that tends to get a lot of use by several students beyond any required physical education classes." She glanced back to Tyler with a small smile. "Some of us are used to a much more active lifestyle, so tend to use it at odd hours to compensate for the more sedentary schedule of school."
  21. Veronica Veronica remained up by the damaged display case, keeping an eye on the burial mask as the police arrived to take her statement and photograph the areas where the dead Shadow clones were located. The teenage Danger did not leave until she had a chance to meet with Mr. Wright and convince him that the burial mask had to be removed from the exhibit and held in a more secure location until she and other could investigate its unusual properties. Eventually she made her way back down to where Liz and Kam were waiting in the now mostly deserted lower level of the museum, just Prudence, a few museum staff and two police officers to keep them company. Soon the three teens were in the back of a limousine Prudence had called to take them back to Claremont, with Prudence sitting up front with the driver. "Well, I got them to pull the mask from the exhibit and get it down the vault for the short term. Tomorrow I need to call my Aunt Rachel and get her help in reaching out to DI’s contacts at the Museum of Cairo and the Imhotep Museum to discuss the situation. We will also start working on trying to get access to the dig site to further investigate whether there is anything there we did not uncover during the initial exploration."
  22. GM It did not take Liz long to catch back up with Kam, who had already changed back to the attire he had worn to the presentation and exhibit. The two managed to blend back into the crowd that had begun gathering down on the main level as the police arrived and began taking statements. Several museum employees were moving through the crowd, checking to ensure no one was injured and offering apologies for the disruption of the evening. Once guests had their statements taken, they were directed out of the museum. When an officer was about to take Liz and Kam out, Prudence appeared to stop the two. "These two are guests of Ms. Danger." Prudence explained to the officer. "They will be returning to their boarding school with her once she is finished, so they can remain here until then."
  23. Veronica Veronica felt it was probably best if she did not bring up that Ashley's view of what "cleaning up the streets" entailed was part of the reason she had been brought to Claremont after her run in with the new Raven. Starting a debate on vigilantism and the root social issues behind certain crime was hardly polite. "That is a very admirable career Judy." The teenage Danger instead responded as Judy mentioned what she was thinking of studying. "If you are ever interested, Danger International is often operating a few humanitarian projects around the world that often involve providing medical care. I was at one in Tanzania over winter break. A good way to get some hands on volunteer experience."
  24. Veronica Before Veronica could respond to Tyler's question about who Matthias Cooke was the pair ran into the Smith sisters. The teenager was a little surprised to run into some of the other students too far from the dorms on a holiday, but many Claremont students kept rather strange schedules. "Morning Judy, Ashely." She said in greeting as the two approached. Ashley still seemed to insist on scanning any new person she encountered, hopefully Tyler would not be too offended by the gesture. As Judy introduced herself and her sister, Veronica gave a small smile. “"t was not all that long ago that we three were 'newbies' as well." The teenage Danger stated. "We just started here back in the Fall, so you are not too far behind us." She paused a moment, then added, "But, the pace here can be rather fast, so a few months can really feel like much longer. You will feel like an old timer in short order yourself."
  25. Sure, sounds fine to me.
