Timeout "That sounds like a good idea." Lawrence replied when Kazra suggested going back to her people’s camp where the rest of her family was. The blond teen followed along as the group started off into the jungle with the Hunter along with them. As they went, from time-to-time Lawrence tapped into his temporal powers to scan the area round them with his cosmic senses, looking for anything that seemed out of place and might represent a threat. He also took the time to taken in what sights he could as they traveled.

Multi-Girl While Starshine knocked half of the red Omegadrones out of the sky, Bernadette and her duplicates were moving around on the ground, attacking the Annihilist and the remaining black armored Omegadrones. The Irish redheads were a flurry of punches and kicks. Although several duplicates attacked her, Marinet managed dodge the attacks as she backed way from the original Bernadette. Meanwhile, the duplicates managed to knock out three of the black armored Omegadrones, and another was hurt and dazed. Only one of the elite Omegadrones withstood the attacks from the redheads, taking a hit with no effect…

Multi-Girl will make her area attack on Martinet and the elite Omegadrones. She gets a 14, but will use a HP to reroll: 20, which misses Martinet, but hits the elite Omegadrones. DC 27 toughness saves: First two (ones with 1 bruise): 27 and 12 (first makes the save, the second is unconscious) Next two (ones with 2 bruise): 11 and 21 (first is unconscious, third bruised and dazed) Last (one with 3 bruises): 11 (unconscious) @MoonSimply Carmen is up!

That does hit, and he terribly fails his save, so it out!

GM Torpedo Lass' attacks slammed into the side of the stone woman, causing her to stagger a step back before the collapsed to the ground unconscious, her form reverting back to normal. Meanwhile, Sever tried to circle his opponent, trying to get him off guard. But the cybernetic humanoid did not seem fooled, and when the teen launched his attack, was easily able to block it and prepare himself to counter. Over near the mysterious robed figure, the glowing energy cube that sprung up around Spaceman completely trapped the teen within, as the large alien figure moved towards the energy construct. Not far away, another humanoid alien dressed in what appeared to be a trench coat, took to the air and flew towards the center of the park. As the figure drew close, the raised one hand that crackled with electricity before shooting a bolt of lightning towards Lawrence. However, the large reptilian alien stepped in the path of the bolt, which slammed into him and caused a slight grunt, but the Praetorian seemed little the worse for wear. Back near the robed figure, another of the time shades moved forwards some, close part of the distance between where the cube of energy was now formed Spaceman. Coming to a halt, the alien sent a blast of psychic energy at Paradigm. The Praetorian leader seemed to tense slightly at the psychic attack, but otherwise did not seem affected. Then a blur of yellow zipped over near the psychic time shade, as Velocity sped by, trying to land a supersonic punch. *CRACK* But the speedsters timing was off, and she missed with the attack, as she sped away and looped back over near the center of the park.

Okay, another time shade (Amikai) will fly over and shot a lightning bolt at Lawrence, but the large lizard Praetorian will interpose. Amikai hits with a 20. DC 27 toughness save: Serek just misses with a 26 and takes a bruise. Another time shade (Pheydyn) will move forward and send a mental blast at Paradigm, DC 25 will save. She makes it with a 26. This brings up: Round Six 38 Velocity (unharmed) 32 Gamma Buzz 5 HP (injured, bruised x2, dazed, prone) 30 Moon-Moth Drone (unharmed) 25 Insect Drones (several in area around park) 24 Rux (unharmed) 24 Timeout 4 HP (unharmed) 21 Sullek (unharmed) 21 Blue Bolt 3 HP (unharmed) 20 Varlis (unharmed) 20 X’madi (unharmed) 20 Golden Star 3 HP (injured, bruised, fatigued) 20 Spaceman 1 HP (injured, bruised) 18 Zadvian (unharmed) 17 Paradigm (unharmed) 17 Torpedo Lass II 5 HP (unharmed) 15 Drones (many: 5 are within 30’ of Timeout/TL2/Sever; 26 are within 250’ of Timeout/TL2/Sever); other groups further out in area ) 14 Cor (unharmed) 14 Seresk (bruised) 13 Needle Fighters (many) 13 Large Alien Drones (6 (2 currently near Gamma Buzz)) 10 Sever 4 HP (injured, bruised) 7 Amikai (unharmed) 5 Pheydyn (unharmed) Velocity will try a move by action on the Pheydyn time shade, but misses with a 14. @Supercape Gamma is up, but is dazed. Do you want to spend a HP to remove that?

Multi-Girl Bernadette glanced over to Vik with a smile as she settled back next to Charlie on one of the sofas. "Multiplicity. We have a couple more local shows in the next couple months, but come the summer, we will be touring parts of the country and have some shows in Europe. Of course, your more than welcome to come along for one of those if you want." As the movie selection was made and the film began, the redhead settled in up close to Charlie. The Irish teen spent almost as much time watching her teammates and friends' reactions to the film as the film itself, a faint smile on her face at seeing everyone seem to enjoy having a few moments of normalcy.

Slipstream Power Level: PL 8 (180/189PP) Trade-Offs: +1 Defense/-1 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 9 In Brief: Refugee from a destroyed timeline with a complicated legacy. Alternate Identity: Lynn Conners Birthplace: Freedom City, New Jersey (Earth-A-45 (extinct)) Residence: Freedom City, New Jersey (Prime) Base of Operations: Claremont Academy during the school year Occupation: Student Affiliation: Claremont Academy Family: Megan Conners (mother, Velocity Earth-A-45 (extinct), deceased); Kyle Conners (father, Siphon Earth-A-45 (extinct), deceased); Lawrence Conners (half-brother, Earth-A-45 (extinct), deceased?); Louise “Lulu” Beaumont (foster sister, Crystal-Gazer - Earth-A-45 (extinct), deceased); Megan Howell-Harrow (adopted mother, Velocity – Prime); Robert Harrow (adopted father, Prime); Lawrence Harrow (adopted brother, Timeout – Prime); Louise “Lulu” Beaumont (foster sister, Crystal-Gazer – Prime) Description: Age: 16 (June 2014 – Earth-A-45(extinct); was 15 years old when she arrived in Prime in April 2024) Apparent Age: 16 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5’ 5” Weight: 105 lbs Eyes: Blonde Hair: Blue Lynn inherited her mother's looks, but generally keeps her appearance rather understated, not wearing much make up or otherwise emphasizing or enhancing her natural beauty. She has a lean, tone body with plenty of curves. She tends to dress rather conservatively, opting for stylish clothes that are not flashy or very reveling. Like her mother, Lynn has bright blue eyes that seem almost to burst with energy. As Slipstream, Lynn wears a black and red morphic molecule bodysuit with a red belt with several pouches. She also wears a pair of high-tech goggles similar to the ones worn by Velocity, but black in color (and with red lenses). History: Earth-A-45(extinct) was an alternate timeline that was very similar to Prime. While there were some differences in the timeline, for the most part the major trajectory of events was the same as Prime. As in Prime, Megan Howell of Earth-A-45(extinct) was exposed to an unexpected mixture of chemicals during a field trip to Astro Labs during her Sophomore year in high school and gained superpowers and began operating as Velocity. Much of her career as Velocity matched that of the Velocity on Prime, until the formation of the Interceptors. While Prime Velocity left the team after a short while, Earth-A-45(extinct) Velocity remained active on the team up until the events of Archevil. During those events, two of the Interceptors, Grimalkin and Colt, sacrificed themselves to save the other members of the team. It was after those events that Velocity left the Interceptors, and, as on Prime, went overseas to spend a year studying at Cambridge. As was the case on Prime, Earth-A-45(extinct) Megan again met Robert Harrow at Cambridge, and the two began dating. However, this version of Robert came into possession of the Stopwatch at this time. As a result of circumstances unknown to Lynn, Robert Harrow died within a few months of obtaining the Stopwatch. Megan left Cambridge early, returning to the States pregnant with Robert's child. Lawrence Harrow was born in 2012, as Megan was continuing to finish her economics degree at Yale. As on Prime, Earth-A-45(extinct) Megan moved back to Freedom City in December 2012 to begin an internship at Summit Financial at the start of 2013. She also met, and began to date Kyle Conners, a freelance reporter for the Freedom Ledger. A few months after they began dating that Kyle learned Megan was Velocity, and she learned he was the hero Siphon, and they married not long after, with Kyle adopting Lawrence. Lynn was born in June 2014, named after her mother's close friend Lynn Epstein (Grimalkin), who had sacrificed herself to save Megan and the other Interceptors. Lynn was born less than a month before Beth Walton-Wright (Lady Liberty) gave birth to twin daughters, Madison and Mary (just as she did in Prime). Given this closeness in age, Lynn grew up being best friends with the twins. With her mother continuing to work in the financial industry (unlike Prime Megan Howell), Lynn lived primarily in the Wading Way or other nearby parts of downtown Freedom City in a few different apartments and penthouses owned by her parents. At a rather young age, it became apparent that Lynn had inherited not only her mother's super speed powers, but her father's power mimic and energy draining abilities. Lawrence meanwhile, demonstrated the ability to control time. While Lynn inherited her mother's looks, she tended to be more reserved and overall kept her appearance more understated. While she also had clear athletic ability from both her parents (her father having been a high school and college football star), Lynn never really took to athletics, although she did continue with gymnastic lessons for a while. Instead, from a fairly young age, she focused on music and started playing violin before she was ten. A few months before Lynn’s sixteenth birthday, Lawrence (who was eighteen) was experiencing extreme, and sometimes painful, power spikes. Concerned, Lynn's mother took Lawrence to the Goodman Building so the Atoms could run some scans and other tests. Lynn accompanied them on the trip, and was thus present when her half-brother began to merge with Collapse, becoming a human shaped tear in the time-space continuum. The Atoms and Velocity proved unable to contain the emergent Collapse, as time and space around him began to unravel. In the chaos, and at the urging of her mother, Lynn used her powers to reach out and copy her brother’s dimensional/time travel abilities to escape. But being unfamiliar with those abilities, the fifteen-year-old was unable to fully travel to Prime, instead getting trapped in a part of Z-Space, halfway between her dying timeline and Prime. This caused anomalies in Atomic Tower in Prime, which were investigated by members of the Atoms Academy, leading them to Z-Space in search of the source. Meanwhile, aspects of Collapse had pursued Lynn into Z-Space, seeking to draw her back to Earth-A-45(extinct) to be destroyed along with the rest of her timeline. The members of the Atoms Academy intervened, managing to help Lynn escape the aspects of Collapse and brought her back to Prime. Upon learning Lynn's story, the Atoms Academy reached out to Velocity, who came to meet Lynn. Horrified at hearing the teen’s story, Megan Howell-Harrow quickly got herself named Lynn’s legal guardian, along with her husband in Prime, Robert Harrow, while they began the process to adopt her. In the meantime, they have been trying to help Lynn acclimate to being in a familiar, but at times very different timeline, which has included getting her extensive counseling to help her deal with the trauma of what she had experienced and the knowledge that everyone she knew and loved in Earth-A-45(extinct) was gone. Personality & Motivation: Lynn had always been rather reserved, although she could be quite warm and caring with those she was particularly close with. While well-mannered and able to carry on conversations in social settings, she was never the social butterfly/life of the party like her mother. Since the terrible events that led to her coming to Prime and the destruction of her timeline, Lynn has become even more withdrawn and quiet as she both tries to process the trauma and adjust to living in a place that is both so familiar and so different at the same time. Even while she was still back in her original timeline, Lynn was becoming more cognizant of the complicated legacies before her. Not only was she the daughter of a member of the Freedom League, with powers clearly identical to her mother’s, but she also had her father’s powers and the knowledge she was named after a heroine who had sacrificed herself to save not only Lynn's mother and other members of the Interceptors, but countless civilians as well. None of this has been made any easier by her arrival in Prime, where she is still likely to be equated to Prime’s version of her mother (given their identical powers and general appearance), but also an increasing sense of responsibility to do something to honor the memory of her mother, father and everyone else she lost in the destruction of her timeline. Powers & Tactics: Like her mother (and Prime Velocity), Lynn's primary power is speed, begin able to break the sound barrier running, deliver supersonic punches and even generate localized sonic booms that can be rather destructive. However, Lynn also has her father's powers, allowing her to copy others' powers and even temporarily suppress those powers, as well as being able to drain others' physical and mental characteristics (and able to temporarily boost her own should she choose to). Complications: That isn't how it happened: Lynn comes from a timeline that was very similar to Prime, but there are differences (large and small). The GM can give Lynn a HP and rule she auto fails a Knowledge/Gather Information check representing her recalling someone/something from her timeline, but what she recalls is not the same as on Prime. Days of future past: When Lynn left her timeline, it was about five and a half years ahead of Prime. The GM can give Lynn a HP and rule that she gets confused remembering something that either has not happened yet, or may never happen in Prime. It gets better with time: Lynn is still processing what happened with her brother and the destruction of her timeline (and deaths of her family and friends). The GM can give Lynn a HP and rule that some threat she encounters triggers memories of the destruction of her timeline, making Lynn Shaken for the encounter until she makes a DC 20 Will save. Complicated Legacy: Lynn inherited her mother's powers, and while Prime Velocity is not technically Lynn's biological mother, the similarity still holds true such that many (both ally and enemy) could equate Lynn with the Freedom League speedster, influencing their reactions/expectations. The GM can give Lynn a HP when these reactions make things more complicated for her. NPC/Slipstream Lynn seemed to tense again when Alden mentioned someone having to do something about the appearance of possible criminals. But then the suspicion the blonde teen had was fully confirmed as the large man in tights appeared, making it clear he and his goons intended to rob those present. But before Lynn could say anything else, Alden moved forward to approach the large man, calling out a challenge. This direct approach drew the attention of everyone in the room to the teen, and Lynn did not waste the opportunity. In the blink of an eye, she became a blur and was then moving faster than the eye could see. When Jack turned to look to where Lynn had been, he did not see her. As she zipped through the outer perimeter of the crowd, moving too fast to see, Lynn passed near to Jack. As she did, she quietly stated "If you are going to intervene, do not do so as yourself." She then continued out of the crowded areas of the gallery, passing through a closed door as she looked for a place to quickly change so she could go back to the confrontation in costume. Meanwhile, as Alden spoke out, the large man turned to regard the teen, studying him closely. A couple of the men in the colorful costumes started to move forward, raising the electrified batons in their hands, but the large man raised his hand to signal them to stop. As Alden spoke, an amused smile came to the large man’s face. "So eloquently spoken young man. I would be happy to discuss some of the works on display in this establishment. Taken this piece for instance…" He replied, as he moved over toward a nearby painting, several people moving out of the way as he approached.

NPC/Lynn Lynn had been about to respond to Alden’s comment about the rain where he was from when the teen pointed out the oddly dressed men that had moved into the room. The blonde teen seemed to tense slightly as she considered the men. "It could be for some sort of performance." She replied to Alden, looking about for other similarly dressed men and making eye contact with Jack a short distance away. "They could also be involved in something more sinister." She then added a bit more quietly. The teen seemed a bit uncertain about how to proceed, possibly not wanting to jump to conclusions, but prepared for the possibility if criminal activity. The three teens were apparently not the only ones who had noted the unusually dressed men, as several other individuals in the gallery were giving the men some strange looks. But then there was a bit of a disruption towards the entrance of the gallery, accompanied by several loud gasps as a large figure moved into view, flanked by two more of the colorfully dressed men in the black berets and sunglasses. The large figure was a man who stood about six and a half feet tall, with a powerful muscular build. He was wearing a pair of tights and boots that went up to just under his knees, but was shirtless. His darkly tanned skin has several bumps and spots scattered across his torso, arms and bald head. He had a brown goatee and mustache, but it was perhaps his eyes that stood out the most. They were completely yellow, with no visible iris or pupils. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." The large man stated loudly, his voice carrying over any side conversations and drawing the attention of everyone within the gallery. "Such a wonderful evening of art and culture. Although, some of the offerings are somewhat questionable in being termed art." "However, there are some quality pieces, and my Avant Guard and I shall be selecting the better examples of such and helping ourselves to them." He gestured around at the colorfully dressed men, who had taken out batons that had one end arcing with electricity. "If everyone is cooperative and remains out of our way and hands over their valuables when we come by to collect, then we shall quickly be on our way."

Multi-Girl Bernadette felt her heart sink slightly at the appearance of Superior himself, her body tensing with a bit of fear. But she was not about to let it paralyze her, and as the others seemed uncertain what to do (despite the appearance of a well know villain from the past), she knew she had to get them acting. "Little girl?" She asked, her Irish accent seeming a bit thicker with anger. "Better than bein' a has-been-Nazi who couldn' compete with Centurion." The redhead then leapt forward towards the greatest grouping of Superior’s followers (trying to position herself to catch all of them present if possible). As she landed, nearly two dozen duplicates popped into existence, quickly moving outward in all directions. As they went, the duplicates launched punches and kicks at the various soldiers. As the original Bernadette leapt into action, her initial duplicate glanced over towards Dr. Macedon. "You should probably stay under cover. An' be prepare ta run if things start goin' really badly." The redhead duplicate them ran forward, moving next to the original Bernadette and preparing to attack Superior if he moved towards the Irish teen.

Okay, Bernadette will try to catch as many of the minion soldier in her area effect as she can and take 10 to hit time (for an 18). Let me know if that misses and she will accurate attack, otherwise, DC 27 toughness save for all those caught in the area. She will exclude Superior (as she could not take 10 if she tried to attack him) and any friendlies in the area.

@Thunder King Sever is up! He has the time shade of an alien with cybernetic arms and a sword facing off with him after missing at attack against him!
-
@The Sailor Okay, as mentioned in chat, that great his and the autofire pushes you up to +10 damage, but she has a 1/2 immunity to non-lethal damage, dropping that to 5 (just enough to tie her Impervious, requiring her to make toughness save) DC 20 toughness save: She just misses with a 18! So she is out! (go ahead and post )

GM As some of teens' new allies go into action, more of the time shades began to act. First, an eight-foot-tall hairless humanoid with a wiry frame and light grey flesh (that seemed even more faded than the others), moved forward, a large club of some sort of glowing yellow energy appearing in its hands. Moving toward Spaceman, it raised on hand as walls of the same glowing yellow energy began to form around the teen, trying to trap him. Meanwhile a short squat humanoid moved over towards where Rot was flying in the air, sending a blast of energy up at the teen that struck her, but did not seem to harm her. The teen returned the attack, the short humanoid just dodging aside. A female time shade, who looked almost human suddenly was covered in rocky plates as she took several running steps forward and leapt into the air, easily covering the distance between her and the area near Lawrence and the others. Landing hard on the ground, her feet sunk into the ground a fair distance, as she pulled herself free, focusing on Lawrence. As she did so, the large reptilian Praetorian stepped forward, swinging his ten foot long tail that ended in a spiked ball at the female opponent. However, she brought up one rocky arm and deflected the attack harmlessly away and took a couple more steps forward…

Multi-Girl Bernadette did not look away Maestro as he spoke about Michael (not needing to as some of her duplicates could see where Maestro was looking as he made his comments about the other teen. "I'm not so shoor you should underestimate Golden Star. We don' need ta stop you, just keep you busy long enough for some of the Freedom League to arrive." The redhead replied. When he mentioned how he could prove that the device he was seeking was his property, a couple of the Irish teen's duplicates took a close look at the equipment that band members had been using. "Well, they may all have similar design, but not shoor that proves that the other device you are after is your property." Bernadette began. "Fer all I know, you could have stolen these other instruments. An' even if you did not, you said this other device was left here by you, how do I know it was not developed on behalf o' the university?" "So, we are still at somethin' o' an' impasse. I can' take what you say at face value an' I'm not goin' ta help you potentially steal anythin', even if it helps prevent some property damage.”

What I Did This Summer - July / August Vignette
Thevshi replied to Thevshi's topic in Freedom City Stories
Velocity/Slipstream – Virtuoso Beaudrie Opera House Theater District, Freedom City, New Jersey Monday August 5, 2024 Megan Howell-Harrow was seated in the main section of the Beaudrie Opera House. The large theater was empty save for Megan and a couple of other individuals who were seated next to her. "Thank you again for being willing to give Lynn a chance to play for you to see if there might be a place for her in the program." The blonde woman stated to the two men seated near her as Lynn Conners, the displaced teenage from another timeline, walked out onto the empty stage. "How could we say no." Replied Fredrick Vanderhoff, the chairman of the board of trustees for the Freedom Youth Philharmonic. "You and your family have been extremely generous with your donations for decades, in addition to supporting the arts throughout the city." The older man looked toward the teenager girl as she reached the center of the stage. "Although, I must say Megan, I am rather curious. This young lady is the very image of you as a teenager. Is there some relation?" Megan did not lose a beat, having anticipated this question. She had decided, that telling the truth was probably the best approach, just with some omissions. "Well, this is Freedom City, capes are not the only ones that can get caught up in the unusual. She is my daughter, from another timeline. Based on information from the Atoms Family and others, it is unlike she will ever be able to return home, so Robert and I have taken her in and are trying to provide her as much normalcy as we can, given the circumstances." "Ah," Vanderhoff replied as a sympathetic look crossed his face as he watched the teen. "I am sure that can be a challenge, but I know you and your husband will do all you can." The figure sitting on the other side of Vanderhoff remained silent, studying Lynn as she prepared to start playing. Howard Walters was the lead conductor for the youth orchestra, and likely the final say as to whether or not there would be a spot for the teen girl. Up on stage, Lynn stopped a short distance from the front of the stage, perfectly centered in front of the three figures seated in the otherwise empty theater. The blonde teenager was dressed in a button up collared white blouse and plaid skirt. Setting a music stand down in front of her, she set out the sheet music for the first piece she intended to play. Putting the violin that had recently been purchased for her by this timelines version of her mother up between her shoulder and chin, Lynn glanced out at the three figures seated before her before focusing back on the sheet music. Taking a deep breath, the time displaced teen began playing Hans Millies’ Concertino in Mozart Style, 2nd Movement. As she began playing, Lynn focused on the notes on the sheet and keeping herself focused on the proper tempo. The piece was generally a slower tempo, with smooth transitions, and she let herself get into causal rhythm. After finishing that first piece, Lynn turned the page of sheet music to the second piece she had selected. Getting herself set once more, she then began Vivaldi's Spring I. Allegro. This piece had much more variations in tempo, something Lynn enjoyed, as having to move appropriately between the different tempos helped her focus on remaining at normal speed as she played. As she finished the last note, Lynn lowered her bow and violin, looking up towards the three figures seated in the theater. Vanderhoff began clapping with genuine enthusiasm. "Magnificent. Very well done." He stated loud enough for Lynn to hear. Megan was clapping as well, smiling at the blonde teen. Walters had been quiet, studying the blonde violinist for a few moments before he started clapping as well, although with much more restraint than Vanderhoff or Megan. Standing up, he spoke up loud enough that his voice carried up to the stage. "Very well-done indeed young lady. You certainly have a natural talent. I believe there is a place for you with the orchestra and we will be able help you on your way to reaching your full potential." Up on stage, Lynn softly let out a sigh of relief. Although she had qualified for a spot on the orchestra back in her own timeline, since her arrival in this timeline, she had begun to learn that in addition to more significant differences between the timelines, there were countless subtle deviations between the two. And then there was the fact they had been asking for her to be considered outside the standard recruitment tryouts, she might not have stood out enough to be considered outside the normal process. "Congratulations Ms. Conners." Vanderhoff added as he stood as well. He then looked over to Megan with a small smile. "Megan, I believe I can leave you and Howard to work out the details. Always a pleasure to see you." With a small nod to the lead conductor, he then made his way out of the aisle and toward the exit. A short time later Megan and Lynn exited the opera house, Lynn with her violin case in one hand. "Well, that went well." Megan commented as the pair walked out into hot summer air, the blonde woman putting on her sunglasses. When Lynn stopped, Megan halted as well, turning to be sure everything was alright with the teen. No sooner had she done so than the teen wrapped her into a hug. "Thank you." Lynn said through light tears of happiness. "Of course, dear." Megan replied as she returned the hug. "But to be honest, I just got you in the door, everything after that was all you." Stepping back again and using her free hand to wipe away the tears, Lynn gave Megan a faint smile. "Maybe, but I do apricate all you and Robert have done for me since I arrived here." Megan gave the teen a sympathetic smile. "We can never replace all that you have lost, nor do we expect to. But we can at least provide opportunities for you to gain new memories and friendships that you will hopefully cherish as much as what you had in your original timeline." "But, enough of that, you just played two fantastic pieces and got a spot on the prestigious Freedom Youth Philharmonic. I say it is time to celebrate." Megan then said with a wide smile as she turned back down the sidewalk and looped one arm around Lynn's free arm as she started to lead the teen back towards where they had parked. -
Paradigm Star Khan glanced at Predator's extended hand a moment and then looked over toward Paradigm, who gave him a small nod. Turning back to Predator, he took the offered hand, giving her a smile as he did so. "I appreciate the offer friend Predator. I also hope we are able to meet again." Paradigm then shook Predator's hand, appearing to have more practice in the Earth custom. "I also hope our next meeting will be under more peaceful circumstances." She then gave a small smile at Predator's comment about the two teen heroes not seeming to object to the rowdiness, glancing that way briefly as well. "I can certainly recall a period where I was more headstrong and quick to action after gaining my powers." Then the Praetorian's communicator lit up as a response was received to her earlier transmission. The Naram looked up towards the other heroes. "It sounds like things are under control up there as well. Shall we make our way up to the Lighthouse?"

Multi-Girl Bernadette had followed along with Stormcrow as he moved to address the others and offering those that wanted to a chance to clear out before the police arrived. Several of the redhead’s duplicates were helping the various AEGIS agents at the scene as she took up a spot next to Charlie and gave him a small smile. "I'm not goin' anywhere till after we speak to the police." Her smile widened as Vik built up some confidence and indicated she intended to wait for the police as well. The Irish teen could understand why Murnie (and possibly Luke) might not want to wait, but it was not as if they needed all of them to intact with the police all the time. In short order, those that had wanted to had cleared out, while some stayed with Stormcrow. It was not long before several police and AEGIS vehicles pulled up to the scene, with a couple of news vans following after….
