    Paradigm A short while later, the four Praetorians that were heading over toward Lor research station were gathered with Paradigm on the middle deck of the Devotion in the small hanger at the aft of the saucer section of the vessel. Paradigm looked about the empty hanger for a brief moment before glancing back over toward Traveller. "We should really look into procuring a shuttle craft like we used to have for situations like this." She said with a small smile. Glancing over toward Galvanic, Flux and Queenie, the Naram then added, "be careful over there. We will do our best to monitor you, do not hesitate to call for help if you need it. Moon-Moth will be ready to try to get more of us over to help get out clear if things go badly." Once everyone had prepared themselves for the vacuum of space, Paradigm moved over and sealed the airlock door to the main part of the ship and opened up with shuttle bay doors to the cold void beyond. Paradigm's cape whipped around briefly as the atmosphere that had been in the shuttle bay was sucked out, then it began floating in the weightlessness of space as she watched the four individuals exit the Devotion to make their way over to the Lor research station.

    Veronica "I was shown Ouroboros, he seems to be doing okay. He encountered the external influences that had been causing problems with Bellios and appeared to convince them to leave somehow. But the guardian told me that the damage those others caused is still destroying Bellios, so we need to get the helmet to merge with the self. I saw something back where there were the pinions, blasting away at the defense drones." Veronica explained, looking over toward where she had seen Ouroboros. "I am not sure where Arcana is, but if we catch up with Ouroboros, perhaps we can locate her and get back on track. When we need to, I can call on the guardian and he can help get us to our goal."

    Veronica "Yes, that is the general plan." Veronica replied when Ashely asked her plans after finishing at Claremont. "I might consider college, but likely will want at least a gap year before continuing on with that. I mean, after I finish my three years here, that time will far and away be the most time I have spent in any one place in my entire life. If not for being able to get away for winter and spring break and over the summer, I am not sure I could make it a full three years." "How about the two of you? Any particular plans after you graduate, other than getting away from here that is?"

    @Ari @Exaccus lets go ahead with initiative checks. ( @Tiff you can make one as well, but will not be in combat just yet) @RocketLord it should not take UFO long to get to the planet and find the Kavaca, so you can go ahead and post.

    Paradigm Amara halted a short distance away from the scene of the fight between the Spectrum Knights and the Lor peacekeepers. Hovering in the air, the Naram focused on the three Spectrum Knights that had flow up to intercept her and her fellow Praetorians. "I am Amara Val-Ren of the Praetorians. In the name of the Lor Republic, I will give you this last chance to surrender yourselves to our custody." Amara did not expect the Spectrum Knights to agree to surrender, but she still felt she had to give them the chance. After all, she had encountered at least one individual that had not committed to the cause espoused by the Spectrum Knights, so it was always possible one could be reasoned with.

    GM Dreeda III Traveller guided the sleek Praetorian craft directly over where the Spectrum Knights were active, allowing Paradigm and the other two Praetorians to disembark. Paradigm took the lead of the group, flying down toward the site of the conflict with the Lor peacekeeping forces at supersonic speeds. The sound of the small sonic boom approaching caused both many of the Lor peacekeepers and the Spectrum Knights to look up toward the site. One of the Spectrum Knights, wearing green colored armor flew up slightly to face Paradigm as she approached. So the oppressors have called in their enforcers. You will not stop us, we have prepared for just such an encounter!" Another pair of Spectrum Knights lifted up into the air as well, moving slightly behind the green armored Spectrum Knight to either side. Both began powering up the weapons in their armor, clearly preparing for a fight. The depths of space, a few light years away Out in the depths of space, Universal Field Operative 777 was moving through the void of intergalactic space. In the years since the Communion central intelligence had shut down and the unit had reactivated, it had been exploring space once more. Recently, it had picked up traces of a Praetorian signal, and had been trying to trace it back to its source. Now, suddenly, it was detecting a strong signal from a Praetorian vessel, and it was only a few light years away….

    Veronica "Sure thing." Veronica replied with a smile when Tyler asked to focus on the tour for now. "Things can get a bit overwhelming. So, as I said, this is the Quad, pretty much the heart of the school during the school week." The teenage Danger continued. "Those two buildings are where most of the class rooms are." She added, pointing toward the sections of the building around the Quad to the east and south. "They are the Dr. Charles Claremont building and the Matthis Cooke wing." Veronica then pointed toward a larger section of the building to the north. "That is the auditorium where all school assemblies are held as well as some other large capacity presentations. If you have any interest in theater, there are some students involved in that who generally put on a play or two during the year." "And finally, over there are the cafeteria and the library.” She finished, pointing over toward the wester section of the building surrounding the Quad. Veronica started walking over toward the archways between the library and the auditorium as she continued speaking with Tyler "As for Headmistress Summers, is tends to come off very stern and authoritarian. Everyone is certain she is a retired hero, but there are wildly varying theories as to which one."

    Veronica Veronica noted Judy's slight tensing but did not comment or react to it. Instead, she just gave a small nod as Ashely explained the situation with the two sisters' duplicates from this dimension. "Not overly common, but not unheard of either." She commented on the fact that the Earth-Prime Judy apparently did not have powers. "But likely for the best, I imagine having your duplicates always present around campus would likely cause a fair bit of confusion." The teenage Danger then added.

    GM "Well, by my estimate, it is about 400 kilometers from where the Xeno is to the pirates' base, and that is without accounting for the kilometers long lake near the Kurabanda forest that lies right between the two points." Soreen replied. "That is a lot of desert, volcanic rock, razor grass and other terrain to try to cross. I don’t think even the ATV will make particularly good time in trying to traverse all that." Regardless of whether or not the ATV would be of use, there was still the need to travel to the Xeno to gather climbing gear and other supplies. So the once again Starshot took the flyer up into the air, the flight from the caves to the downed ship not taking particularly long. The Xeno appeared to be in the same condition as when they had left it so many days ago. If anything, it seemed to be slightly less buried in the sand now than it had been.

    Veronica Veronica was not at all sure what was going to happen after she had accepted the aid of the wyrm guardian. When her reflection did something that gave her a view of things taking place elsewhere within the magical realm, the teenage Danger carefully studied what was shown to her. She felt badly when she saw Masque, who seemed very worried about her and Abby. She had just been about to ask where Abby was when the wyrm said its final piece and then disappeared, along with her reflection. With no other avenue before her at the moment, Veronica moved toward Masque, exiting from another mirror a short distance away. "Do not worry Masque, I am here." She stated as she took a deep breath of air once more. "Just had a meeting with one of the guardians of Bellios, which offered us its assistance to make up for its failing to fulfill its role."

    Veronica Veronica had to agree with Masque that the Thule sorcerers involved in the attempted heist likely knew more about the burial mask than she currently felt she did. As Red Lynx mentioned Shadow's lack of concern for collateral damage, the teenage Danger nodded her head. "Yeah, Shadow is hardly known for its restraint. From what I understand from Uncle Ace, the clones they use are equipped with a sort of 'self destruct.' Which is likely what the sorcerer triggered in these two." Veronica indicated the two dead Shadow clones near the destroyed display case. She focused her attention back onto the mask and gave a small nod at Red Lynx's suggestion as to what the mask might be a key for. "That sounds like a logical place to start investigating. We were not able to take any sonographic readings of the tomb at the time we were there. If there are some other chambers, there were no sign of them last time, but it may be more apparent to me now than it was then." Veronica gave a small nod as Red Lynx mentioned rejoining the crowd to quell any suspicion on his disappearance. The teenage Danger then looked back over toward Masque. "So seems like I will need to see about arranging for a trip back to the dig site in Egypt. Up for a little excursion if I can get things set up?"

    Veronica Veronica gave a small smile. "I can understand the novelty. This is my first formal schooling as well. Prior to this my education was mainly handled by my parents while we travelled the world." The teenager offered, a trace of a French accent becoming more apparent the more she talked. "There are the standard classes you would expect: math, social studies, science and the like." Veronica then began as an answer to Tyler's question. "There are also some more unusual required classes, such as ethics and there are quite a few electives that you will have the opportunity to pursue if you choose."

    Paradim Aboard the Kavaca Amara Val-Ren quickly took in the scene on the holodisplay before rising from her chair. "Sitara, make a pass over the Spectrum Knights' location. Moon-Moth, Hyperslice and I will disembark and engage them. The find the nearest location to set the ship down and catch back up with us." The Naram then turned to look at the two other occupants of the small bridge. "Moon-Moth, Hyperslice, let us provide aid to the beleaguered Lor." She stated before making her way out of the bridge and towards the nearest air-lock.

    GM Dreeda III, Lor Republic Nova-Lor City Lor time mark 1882.6 [February 14, 2019 (Terran Calendar)] During the incursion, the Lor colony on Dreeda III had been spared any direct effect of the fighting. But shortly after the incursion was over, it fell prey to a dozen super-powered criminals that had managed to escape confinement on a prison ship and size control over the vessel. The colony was rescued when a large force of Preatorians arrived in search of the escaped criminals. At the time, the planet was home to about forty thousand Lor. In the past few years, the colony had seen a massive influx of displaced beings from across the Republic and beyond. Entire cities have sprouted up on several continents, as well as the addition of at least two orbital ones. Now the world was home to over one billion sentients, though there were still large tracts of untouched wilderness across the planet, mixed with large areas of cultivated farmland. But along with the massive increase in population had come some of the problems associated with large populations. One such problem was the recent appearance of a number of Spectrum Knights operating in the system, which had brought a group of Praetorians back to the world to try to root out the threat. As the team of Praetorians had been investigating the Spectrum Knight activity on the world, they had received a communication that the Spectrum Knights were attacking a governmental facility in one of the new cities in the lower hemisphere. Boarding the Kavaca, the group had flow to Nova-Lor City, several columns of smoke rising into the air quickly pointing them toward the scene of the attack. Half a dozen Spectrum Knights, each in different colored armor, were still on sight, engaged in combat with Lor security forces which appeared to be having trouble dealing with the armored criminals.

    GM "It should not take us long to get back to the Xeno"” Laark stated with a small nod. "Having quality climbing gear would help with traversing the mountainous terrain." Soreen had a slight frown on her face. "Well, with the flyer and the extra hands we have aboard, should not be too hard to dig out enough sand to get the ATV out. But the flyer might have some trouble lifting something that heavy." She stated. "And, it is not going to fit in the cargo area, it would have to be suspended beneath the flyer, which will completely throw off its balance and make it rather unwieldy."

    Tsunami "It is my understanding that Atlanean ruins here can often house dangerous magic within them." Tsunami replied in a quite tone. She then started down the dark tunnel after the Nazis, following after their fading light as they continued their path ahead. The Asian young woman moved like a whisper, hardly making a sound as she moved forward, eventually catching back up to the edge of the Nazis’ torchlight. Dust Devil had little trouble catching back up as well, his sand form moving quietly along the ancient stone hallway. Up ahead the two heroes could make out several of the Nazis as they moved carefully down the passage, stopping from time to time to examine some of the writing or otherwise search a section of the hall.

    Veronica Veronica nodded slightly as Ashley talked about getting along with her duplicates and again in agreement with Ashley's statements about Judy not worrying too much about trying to learn more about her duplicates. "Ashley is right, you could drive yourself crazy trying to second guessing past decisions based on what you learn from duplicates about their lives and world as you go over every difference that might exist between you." The teenage was quite a moment, then looked from Judy to Ashley as she asked. "By the way, out of curiosity, have the two of you ever met your Earth-Prime selves?"

    Veronica At the sound of approaching footsteps, Veronica turned toward the sound, a warm smile coming to her face. "Hi, you must be Tyler." She stated as she looked at the new arrival. "I'm Veronica Danger, very nice to meet you." "Headmistress Summers asked me to give you a tour and help you learn your way around campus today. So, do not hesitate to ask any questions along the way." Veronica explained. "This seemed like a good place to start, as this is basically the heart of campus. Most classes are held in the various buildings around us." Veronica continued, gesturing towards the buildings around them.

    Main Quad, Claremont Academy Bayview, Freedom City, New Jeresy Monday, Febraury 18, 2019; 8:35 AM The morning sun had done little to warm the cold morning air thus far as it began to shine over the open air courtyard located at the front entrance of Claremont Academy. Veronica Danger stood toward the front entrance, not far from the grass circle in the center where stood a statute of Dr. Charles Claremont. The teenage Danger was dressed in dark green cargo pants, a pair of well-worn hiking boots and a long sleeved brown shirt with a winter jacket over it. The rest of the quad was deserted as the school was closed today. Veronica was out waiting to meet a new student that was arriving this morning so she could provide him a tour and help get him settled in.

    Veronica Red Lynx found the Shadow agent he moved up to examine completely unresponsive, noting no sign of breathing or other any trace of a heartbeat. Veronica had moved up closer to the smashed case, studying a golden mask contained within. "Veronica…" Began Prudence, the personal assistant assigned to the Danger cousins while they were at Claremont. Veronica held up one hand to stop her PA. "Prudence, help the staff get the guests to the lower levels and safety. Then I need to speak with Mr. Wright." For a moment it seemed as if Prudence was going to disagree, but then she moved away, starting to direct any remaining guests out of the exhibit. "It is Sanakht's burial mask." Veronica replied to Red Lyxn's question. "I have not seen for a few years, the last time I did it was before my abilities had…awakened." "The mask resonates with magic, not particularly strong, but steady. It…it is some sort of key."

    Veronica When her duplicate began swimming further into the strange liquid, Veronica took the opportunity of having her hands free to quickly work a new spell that would allow her to avoid suffocating. Taking a relieved breath as she finished that spell, the teenage Danger was about to considering something else that might help her escape when she arrived in front of the large wyrm-like creature. Grimacing slightly at the mental presence in her mind, Veronica relaxed herself before responding. The outside actors that have come to this realm are quite devious, you should not feel too badly in failing to recognize them in time. My companions and I would be happy to accept your aid in completing our quest to correct the damage that has resulted.
