  1. The Shadow only gets a 7 with a Natural 1, so he is down hard! The two remaining shadows that are where Veronica and Masque are will attack the two heroines. The one attacking Veronica missed with a 17, the one going after Masque also misses with a 19. We are up to the Masques now! @Fox
  2. GM Tsunami seemed to get the basic meaning of Dust Devil’s message, holding a finger up to her mouth and gesturing with the hand in a motion that seemed to suggest waiting to see more. The Asian heroine then disappeared into some shadowy underbrush nearby and out of Dust Devil's vision. Down below, more than half a dozen more Nazis appeared from the jungle, following after the first two as they drew closer to the ruin in which Dust Devil and Tsunami had arrived. One of the men in front called out in German, turning back and signaling to the others. They all speed up to a jog, closing the distance to the base of a vine covered stone set of stairs that led up to the ledge where Dust Devil and Tsunami were located. As the gathered men looked up at the ruins above them, several started talking excitedly in German. Now that they were closer, Dust Devil was able to make a more details. Each were wearing uniforms similar to what he believed the Germans had worn in Northern Africa during World War II. The uniforms also appeared to have at least a few patches in them, although the same material, so they blended almost seamlessly from a distance. Several had holsters at their belts, but they also carried spears in their hands, or machetes. Each of the men wore a sturdy rucksack on their back, clearly filled with some sort of supplies. After a few moment, the Nazis began climbing the stairs towards the entrance to the chamber where Dust Devil and Tsunami had first appeared. So far, they appeared to have not caught sight of either of the heroes….
  3. Okay, initiative time!
  4. GM As Girrok stopped and issued his demand for more explantion, the Boran with the large energy weapon in the lead stopped at turned back around, again stating something in a language the Andromedan did not understand. This time he began to raise his weapon slightly, but again Vannox held up a hand to stop him. Still holding his glaive in his other hand, Vannox stood up straight as he looked back at Girrok as well, a slight scowl on his face. "I respect your strength and your skill in the arena Andromedan," he finally stated, "but I am not one of your underlings to be commanded." "But still, I understand your wishing to know more. We do not have time to explain in full, but suffice to say, we follow a great warrior who is currently involved in a conflict with the Stellar Khanate." Just as Vannox finished, several Khanate soldiers appeared at the hole in the wall nearby. A group of others appeared around one corner of the hallway they were in, moving toward them. "The fool has already delayed us too long." Muttered the Boran with the large energy weapon, turning to aim at the group approaching from down the hall.
  5. Veronica Danger Veronica had been distracted by the sight of something grabbing Abby and pulling her into a mirror when the same thing happened to the teenage Danger. The hands that grabbed her were as strong as a vice, so after a brief struggle Veronica realized there was little chance she was going to free herself by struggling. However, and hope that she would be freed by Liz faded quickly when Veronica herself was pulled into the mirror. Focusing to keep her breath held, Veronica let herself go limp, waiting to see where she might be taken, and by whom.
  6. Veronica Danger As they reached their destination, Veronica been ready to resume full manual control. She carefully guided the craft underneath the impressive structure that was their destination. "This is amazing. How was he able to bet this out here without anyone noticing?" She commented as she continued forward. As they reached the maze of growths and platforms that was their way toward the dock, a sly smile came to the teenager's face as Echohead began to panic. "Now things become interesting." She started as she guided the Pegasus into the maze. Even as self-assured as she was, Veronica's expression became more serious as she took in the chaotic space around the ship, guiding it around column jaunting out in front of them. She had to suddenly stop the vessel as a large platform appeared in front of them. "That was close." She said with another small smile. Activating the portside maneuvering thrusters, Veronica moved the Pegausus sideways until they were clear of the large platform, she then started them forward into the maze once more. The teenage Danger continued to guide the craft smoothly around obstacles, turning Pegasus completely around its axis multiple times in the process. Finally, she cleared the last obstacle and slowed down as the dock appeared in front of them. "Well, here we are."
  7. Veronica gets a 14; 22; and a 25!
  8. So ZB, there is really nothing Veronica can do at the moment. She has little chance of escaping her current situation on her own (or at least no chance that I would like to explore at this point in her character development). And you have arbitrarily removed her from the only person that could have helped her escape from the situation.
  9. GM Phalen went quite for a few moments, seeming to actually be in thought about the choice Starshot had put before him. Finally the man gave a nod and stated, "Phalen wants to return to his caves." "Well, you gave it a shot." Soreen stated with a small shrug as she got to her feet. "Shall I get the flyer ready to depart?" She asked, looking over to Starshot. Laark stood up again as well. "I will make sure the last of the supplies for the Kurabanda are loaded onto the flyer." The large alien hoisted his massive club over one shoulder and started off along with Ermorada to finish the preparations.
  10. GM Tsunami moved forward quietly as well, slipping into some shadow with practiced ease. Dust Devil's sand form quickly allowed him to move outside of the chamber the pair had arrived in, coming out onto a narrow stone platform of sorts. Much of the stone was grown over with plants, but the stone steps leading down were still mostly visible. From the platform, Dust Devil could see a small valley, filled with large trees and other vegetation. The jungle canopy raised dozens of feet up into the sky above, but there were large enough gaps to allow in ample sunlight. As Dust Devil moved along the platform some, he saw a pair of figures moving down among the foliage below. The pair were male humans, dressed in similar uniforms of an olive khaki pants with a light brown/khanki long sleeve shirt and similarly colored hats. The uniforms seemed somewhat familiar to Dust Devil, but he could not quite put his finger on it at first. But then one of the men turned slightly, and the new hero was able to see a red arm band on the man’s right arm, emblazoned with a white circle in which sat a black swastika. The man that had turned around called back to the other man, clearly speaking in German…
  11. @Supercape @Tiff @olopi @Azuth65 @EternalPhoenix @Exaccus @Ecalsneerg Okay, someone needs to post!
  12. Veronica gets a 11 for her grapple check and a 19 on her Initiative check.
  13. Tsunami Tsunami noted that Comrade Frost did not appear interested in taking a patient approach to investigating the scene. While the Asian young woman could understand the feeling of urgency associated with locating the weapons, she still felt a bit of caution might have been appropriate. But, now was not the time to debate that, so while Comrade Frost moved in to make a dramatic entrance, Tsunami moved into the shadows and made her way towards the fence. Soon she was past the first obstacle, and making her way over towards the warehouse, doing her best to avoid any lite areas.
  14. Tusnami will also take 10 with skill mastery on stealth to move toward the outside, getting a 25.

Ref point to Veronica)
  16. GM As the two teens both arrived near the center of the exhibit the Thule sorcerer turned away from the smashed display case toward the pair. "What does it take to be rid your troublesome teens?" He cried out, raising a hand as he spoke several arcane words once more. As before, a blast of mystical energy streaked out of the palm of his raised hand, aimed this time at Masque. The sorcerer's aim proved better this time, as the blast struck the teen squarely, the mystical energy surging over her. "We will not fail!" The sorcerer cried out, his voice echoing through the nearby rooms.
  17. With Veronica moving her turn, that brings up the Thule Sorcerer, who will turn and fire a magic blast at Masque and he hits with a 25. DC 23 toughness save Fox! @Fox That brings up Red Lynx! @angrydurf
  18. Veronica The Masque heading toward the exhibition teleported further along, appearing in one of the rooms she had previously been in with Veronica and Kam. There she found people panicking, running through the room toward the start of the exhibit and the exit to the main hall of the wing. Up ahead of her was an open doorway toward another room, but beyond she could not see anything, only pitch black darkness. There were some sounds coming from the room, followed by the distinct sound of breaking glass. Further back in the museum, Veronica continued to sprint through the halls, making her way back toward the exhibit. As the teenage Danger reached the entrance to the exhibit, she began encountering some of the fleeing guests. "Don't panic, we are trying to get everything under control!” She shouted out as she sprinted by. “Just make your way downstairs and out of the building!" Entering another room she came upon Masque, or one of them at least. Up ahead was similar darkness to what had been used on her and Kam, but Veronica's spell still allowed her to see through the darkness. Moving up beside Masque, Veronica touched one hand to the other teen's shoulder as a faint green glow surrounded her hand. "This should help." As with her duplicate, Masque felt the magic surge over her a moment, and then was able to see through the darkness ahead of her. In the room beyond, the two teens could see three of their opponents, the remaining Thule Society sorcerer and two of the Shadow clones. All three were gathered around a display case in the middle of the room which was now broken.
  19. Okay, this brings up: ROUND FIVE 27 Veronica (unharmed, 3 HP) 7 Thule Sorc #1 (unharmed) 16 Red Lynx (bruised, 1 HP) 16 Shadow-in-Shadows (3, all unharmed) 4 Masque (unharmed, 4 HP) 4 Masque Duplicate (unharmed) Veronica is pretty much going to move to catch up with the Masque over in the middle of the exhibit.
  20. With Frost distracting everyone, Tsunami will attempt to sneak in, using Skill Mastery for a 25 on her Stealth Check.
  21. GM As Hazmat placed the Devotion into a holding position, she had to make some small adjustments to account for the gravitational pull of the singularity, which even at the distance they were from the event horizon, was trying to pull the vessel towards it. It was not a significant pull, one easily resisted by slight application of maneuvering thrusters, but still something that had to be considered. As Sitara began trying to connect to the Lor station to download its data banks she quickly found the task was not going to be as simple as she might like. As she tried to lock onto the station's systems, Sitara was having trouble even locating any signal from the station, almost as if it was not there…
  22. Tsunami "No, things are rarely so easy." Tsunami says in agreement with a small grin. As Dust Devil asked his follow up question about the Serpent People, the Asian young woman gave a small nod. "Yes, from my understanding, the Serpent People are the same as the Lemurians. No one quite knowns why they exist here in the Lost World as well, but they tend to be rather primitive." As she finished, Tsunami seemed to halt a moment, raising one hand as if to motion for Dust Devil to hold off on any further questions for a moment as her head cocked to one side slightly as if she was trying to hear something. Just a moment after Tsunami made this gesture, Dust Devil heard the faint sound of voices coming from somewhere outside the opening to the chamber that led outside.
  23. Tsunami gets a 22 for her Notice check.
  24. Could I get a Notice check please.
  25. Tsunami Tsunami shook her head at Dust Devil's first question. "No, I am afraid there is little in the way of sand near where they usually are. They tend to reside in tree top structures in the jungles." At his second question she was quite for a few moments before she replied. "Yes, I have been here on three prior occasions. The first two times where when I…attended a school for teens with abilities such as ours. The trips were arranged by the school, but in both instances ended up being more than they had initially intended. During the first time, my fellow students and I helped stop a plot by the Serpent People to conquer the various settlements here using an army of dinosaurs. During the second, we encountered a group of super-villains that had made their way here and uncovered an ancient power that had been sealed away by the Atlanteans ages ago. The most recent was when my friends here sought assistance in stopping an invasion from an outside force."
