There are two of them near you and Veronica. No, they are not minions.

Okay, with Thule Sorcerer #3 dazed, that brings up: ROUND THREE 27 Veronica (unharmed, 3 HP) 7 Thule Sorc #1 (unharmed) 16 Red Lynx (unharmed, 1 HP) 16 Shadow-in-Shadows (4, all unharmed) 4 Masque (unharmed, 4 HP) 3 Thule Sorc #3 (bruised 2) Veronica will start using her remaining variable pool points for an additional spell: Super Senses 2 (Counters Obscure: Darkness; Extras: Affects Others, Area Effect, Feat: Selective) which uses the last 7 pp in her pool. When she finishes the spell in the round, she will use a free action to apply it to Red Lynx. Thule Sorc #1 is not close enough to Masque to see her, so he will just teleport away. @angrydurf Red Lynx is up!

GM Further down the hall outside of the darkness, the lead Thule sorcerer watched in frustration as another of the Shadow clones was defeated by one of these teenagers. That frustration only grew as the teenager disappeared from sight. Not able to spot any sign of where the teen might be hiding, the sorcerer instead cast another spell, once again disappearing in a puff of dark smoke, vanishing completely from Masque’' sight. This left no visible enemies in Masque's area, while in the darkness around Veronica and Red Lynx there were two Shadow clones on their feet and the remaining Thule sorcerer, who was starting to get back to his feet…

Veronica Danger As the darkness fell over Veronica and Red Lynx, the teenage Danger felt the levels of adrenaline already present shoot upward,. She had no idea whether or not these Shadow clones could see through this darkness, which reminder her slightly of some caves she had explored in a few parts of the world. But Veronica felt a bit more at ease when she realized she was still able to see her amulet and the small trinkets she carried and used to craft spells, their magic shining brightly in her eyes even in this impenetrable darkness. Not wanting to possibly hurt Red Lynx by randomly trying to attack anyway, the teenager instead began selecting a few of her small silver trinkets, an idea for a new spell coming to her. A few moments later she had them gathered on a chain as she felt the spell wash over her, and suddenly the darkness around her instead became shades of grey, and she could once again see her surroundings, which included the two Shadow clones and Red Lynx. Reaching out one hand towards Kam, Veronica shared the magic spell she had just created with him.

Thevshi replied to Zeitgeist Blue's topic in Archives
Veronica will not be attacking any more if Liz' illusion works, so she will just be ready to move with the others through the door. She will keep the offensive spell ready, should she need it again. -
GM Giirok's question was almost immediately answered once he and Vannox were through the opening in the wall. Just inside the chamber beyond the wall were a group of humanoids. One was another Boran, holding a large energy weapon, the others were a variety of normal sized humanoids carrying a variety of blasters. As Giirok appeared behind Vannox, the other Boran and the other humanoids began to aim their weapons. But Vannox quickly raised a hand to stop them. "No, he is a fellow prisoner." The other Boran raised his weapon so it was pointed toward the ceiling as he studied Giirok for a brief moment. "We should not delay, it will not be long before the guards will respond." The Boran then turned and started to lead the group out of the chamber and into a wide hallway that stretched to either side, appearing to wrap around at least part of the exterior of the arena floor.

Okay, sorry for the delay, that is a hit and the Wheel gets a 13 on his toughness save, so he will go down as well. Go ahead with an IC post.

Paradigm Amara Val-Ren was seated in the command chair on the bridge of the Devotion The Praetorians had received a request from the Lor Republic to investigate a disruption in a singularity located within the boarders of Lor space. The Praetorian leader had been somewhat bothered by the request, given the tensions along the boarders with the recently resurgent Stellar Khanate, which had been at something of a standoff for months. The Coalition forces along the Praetorians and Star Knights had managed to keep most of the systems that had declared independence from the Khanate from being re-conquered, but that had allowed the Star Khan to focus his attention on the various warlords that had carved out their own small fiefdoms from the Khanate, removing the majority of these imposters and reclaiming their territories. However, given the damage the Communion had caused during the Communion War with its singularity causing superweapon, ignoring the troubling readings being picked up from within the Ardor Singularity was not a wise course of action either. So, Amara had elected to lead a mission to investigate the situation. The Praetorians had received assistance in this endeavor in the form of Professor Quentin Quill himself. Looking at the bridge’s main view screen, a section of the Ardor asteroid belt was visible, the sensors picking up both the abandoned Lor research station and the singularity itself. "So Professor Quill, what should we know about this singularity?" Paradigm asked, as she turned her chair slightly to face their guest.

GM Ardor asteroid belt just a few light years inside Lor Space Along the inner edge of the Perseus Arm Lor time mark 1881.7 [January 16, 2019 (Terran Calendar)] The Ardor asteroid belt was a collection of various sized asteroids that stretched nearly half a light year along one of the boarders of Lor Space. For centuries it has lay well away from any inhabited Lor systems and thus was out of the path of any regular trade lanes. However, that had changed several cycles ago, back before the Incursion, when a Quantum Dark Zone singularity had caused the belt to migrate, pulling it closer to one of the outer space lanes of the Republic. A team of Lor scientists along with Terran scientist Quentin Quill had gone to investigate the singularity. However, Quill was accidently pulled into the singularity during the investigation and the Lor science team eventually returned to Lor-Van. And then the Communion arrived. The singularity had been all but forgotten by the Republic during the Communion War and the aftermath. That was until almost one Terran year ago, when Quentin Quill managed to free himself from the singularity. But even then, the Lor had not resumed study of the anomaly and it was ignored once more. Less than one standard day ago, when the passive sensors of the Lor research laboratory situated on of the larges asteroids in the belt had detected a massive energy shift from within the singularity, sending the readings back to the Republic…

GM The injured Thule sorcerer took a few steps back as Red Lynx advanced on him, apparently not intimidated by the Dakanan royal's threats, but still wanting to keep some distance from those whirling clubs. He tried to bring up warding spells to block the attacks, but only managed to deflect several of the feints, so when Red Lynx directed the actual attack, the sorcerer was already off balance, and unable to move in time to stop the attack. The uppercut caught him under the chin and sent him spilling over backward to land on the ground near one of the walls. The sorcerer was clearly dazed, but was not quite out of the fight just yet. Then, both Red Lynx and Veronica could sense the two presences still in the shadows move slightly and then suddenly disappear, seemingly swallowed up by the shadows they were hidden in. But the pair had little time to consider the development, as the two shadow clones still there continued to press the attack. The first continued to move after Red Lynx, its hands still glowing with the dark energy that surrounded them. But its attempts to strike the Dakanan royal proved completely ineffective, as he flipped away with easy from a clumsy attack that was never anywhere close to hitting. The other took a step back, raising up both hands as they glowed with dark energy. Suddenly, the section of the hallway where Veronica and Red Lynx were fighting the downed sorcerer and the two clones was plunged into a chilling darkness. Further down the hall, the remaining clone near Masque drifted away from her slightly and sent another telekinetic blast towards the teen. But she was able to easily dodge to one side, the attack striking the floor a short distance away, cracking a section and sending a few chips flying into the air.

Yes, he beats that Intimidate check with a 18 Sense Motice check. But you do hit and he gets a 15 on his toughness save, so another bruise and is dazed. The two shadows still concealed have now disappeared altogether (Red Lynx and Veronica are unsure where they went, they are just gone). The other two follow the directions of Sorc #1, the first attacking Red Lynx, missing terribly with a 9 The other drops darkness on the area where they are fighting. The remaining Wheel will try to hit Masque with another TK blast, missing again with a 17 @Fox Masque is up!

Veronica Danger Even for Veronica once they had gone to faster-than-light the trip had mostly consisted of routine checks of the instruments and controls to ensure they were still on course and everything was working as it should. Of course she had done some actual manual piloting earlier in the flight. Once they had broken free of the Earth's atmosphere, she had piloted them to the correct coordinates for the beginning of their trip towards Mars at FTL At Pan's question, the teenage Danger glanced at some of the instruments in front of her before she gave an answer. "We are close. A couple more minutes until I take us back to sub-light speeds. Then a couple more for reentry and to get to Starshell Castle."

Okay, ROUND TWO 27 Veronica (unharmed, 3 HP) 7 Thule Sorc #1 (unharmed) 16 Red Lynx (unharmed, 1 HP) 16 Shadow-in-Shadows (4, all unharmed) 11 Wheel-in-Shadows (1 left, unharmed) 4 Masque (unharmed, 4 HP) 3 Thule Sorc #3 (unharmed) Veronica will attack Sorc #3 with her blast. She will power attack (-2/+2), hitting with a 29. That is a DC 25 toughness save and the sorcerer gets a 22, so he is only bruised. Then it will be Sorc #1, and he fires a magic blast at Veronica, but misses. He then teleports down toward where Masque and the last Wheel are. @angrydurf That brings up Red Lynx once more!

GM The sorcerer that had spoken with Veronica and Masque was not particularly happy with how quickly these teenagers had taken down two of their number and injured another. While the Shadow agents still having the advantage in numbers, the teens were thus far avoiding or resisting every attack directed at them. Casting another spell, the sorcerer sent a mystical bolt of energy of his own flying at Veronica. But the teenage Danger saw it coming and ducked to one side, a faint mystical barrier appearing around her to help deflect the attack away. "Delay them!" He ordered the two Shadow agents engaged with Red Lynx. "Everyone else, move to secure the exhibit." With that, the sorcerer cast another spell, disappearing in a puff of dark smoke, only to similarly reappear over near Masque and the remaining Shadow agent she was facing.

Veronica As Veronica had finished preparing her spell, she tried to keep up with the chaos of the fight as more of the Shadow clones emerged from the shadows to attack Kam and the other clones flew down the hall toward the exhibit after trying to attack her and Elizabeth. Veronica had to assume that the other presences she sensed in the shadows on the other side of the hall where the same as those that had attacked Kam, but she was not sure why they were waiting to take any action just yet. The spells used by the two remaining Thule sorcerers where a bit concerning. The last thing they needed where any of them being taken over by one of the sorcerers and turned against the others. When one of the sorcerers tried to take control of Elizabeth, the teenage Danger focused her attention on him, bringing up one hand as she released a bolt of eldritch energy. The mystical blast struck the sorcerer square in the chest, causing him to stager back a step as he grunted in pain, but failing to knock him unconscious. "I've always been told that fighting Nazis was something of a family tradition. Was beginning to fear that it might be one that I would never see." She stated with a small smirk. "Guess I was wrong."

GM The force of Masque's attack knocked the Shadow clone's chin straight up, tilting its head back as it was knocked backward off its feet to land hard on the marbled floor. The clone's limbs went slack and it was apparent that it had been knocked unconscious by the attack. Back where the fight had begun, the other Thule sorcerer still on his feet peered down the hallway to where Masque had engaged the clones that had been sent ahead to secure the artifact they were after. Casting the same spell as the first sorcerer, this one aimed the mystical energy generated at Masque’s mind. The teenager felt a dark presence enter her mind, seeking to seize control over it as she felt a numbness in her fingers and toes which began to spread up her limbs. For a brief moment, it seemed that the dark presence of the Thule sorcerer would take control of her, but then she fought back against the magic, pushing it out of her mind as feeling returned to her hands and feet once more.

GM Vannox seemed initially surprised by Giirok's maneuver, but kept with the ruse, not resisting the attempt to grapple him. When the Andromedan simulated the "body slam," there was still enough force in the maneuver to cause the Boran to grunt slightly. As Giirok asked his question, Vannox scowled slightly at the Andromedan. "I have associates that will provide us a means of escape, we just have to be ready." He grunted quietly in reply. Then, the Boran managed to get his arms braced up against Giirok and lifted the Andromedan off of him before rolling out from underneath and quickly getting back to his feet, continuing the ruse of the two still being locked in moral combat. But just as Vannox retrieved his glaive from the ground, a portion of the wall near where the two were suddenly exploded, sending fragments of rock flying that glanced harmlessly off Giirok's chitten hide and Vannox's armor. The Boran wasted no time, glancing over at Giirok. "Now is the time." He hissed, still not quite loud enough to be heard by those up in the stands, but not really feeling the need to whisper any longer either. Vannox then turned and ran towards the smoke filled hole that was now present.

Okay, the last sorcerer will try to use his Mind Control on Masque. A DC 18 Will save @Fox.

Tsunami "Are you alright?" Tsunami asked with a concerned tone as she knelt down by the young woman, giving her a visual examination to ensure that she had no injuries. The young woman nodded, thanking the heroine before looking over toward Dust Devil and offering him thanks as well. Tsunami put a reassuring hand on the young woman. "Just relax, the police and medics should be here shortly. Take deep breaths and try to get back to your feet when you are ready." Dust Devil moved amongst the wreckage inside the store, some of it caused by him, but other parts caused by the robbers when they began their robbery. The weapons used by the robbers were scattered about, dropped as the robbers had been blasted about by the various attacks. Most of the weapons were normal firearms that could be obtained from any number of sources. However, he came upon another weapon that was anything but normal, the one wielded by one of the robbers he had spotted outside of the store when he had first arrived and had blown into the store with the shockwave. This weapon was clearly some sort of high-tech device, and looked very much like those contained in the crate Dust Devil had looked into when working for his uncle. Tsunami moved up next to Dust Devil, moving rather quietly. "She has not apparent physical injuries. She's a bit shaken up to be sure, but does not appear to be in shock." The Asian heroine looked down at the weapon at Dust Devil's feet. "That looks far too advanced for simple jewelry store robbers."

That does hit, with a bit extra. The clone only gets a 12 on its toughness save, so will say like Durf's attack, that knocks this one out.

GM As Giirok started flying toward the wall as had been suggested, he felt Vannox loosen the pressure from the shaft of the glaive on his throat. "Be ready." The Boran whispered once more. Once the Andromedan reached the indicated wall, he made a show of trying to shake Vannox by slamming him into the wall, actually conducting the maneuver, but without the amount of force or velocity he truly could have generated if he had been seriously attempting to deal with his opponent in this way. Vannox released his hold on Giirok after the slam, dropping of the Andromedan’s back and landing of his feet and moving a short distance away. "You are large and powerful, but even the largest foe can be brought down!" He yelled as he made a swing at Giirok. Again, while Vannox was putting force behind the attack to make it believable, it was also one that Giirok had little trouble blocking, as the Boran clearly intended. The crowd above the pair did not seem to notice the combatants were no longer attacking each other with full force, as the cheers and cries intensified in volume. Up on the wall above, many of the beings closest to the edge were now leaning over for a better view of the action that was taking place directly below them.

GM Ermorada shook his head at Starshot’s question. "No, Kurabanda last saw first peoples some time before sky devils arrived. It has been many seasons." The Kurabanda replied. "Red Devils killed most of the prospectors." Phalen stated again with a shake of his head. "It appears they will not be a potential ally." Laark stated grimly. "But we have learned a bit more about our enemy." "Well, we generally knew they were unpleasant." Soreen stated with a smirk. "But still, somewhat interesting that they decided to change from pirating to employing slave labor to mine this planet. Though, I suppose that the risks might be somewhat less given how remote this world is, compared to risking being hunted down by the Lor or Star Knights."

GM Despite partially giving away his presence, Red Lynx still caught the Thule sorcerer he dropped down next to by surprise and catching the sorcerer with his weapon. The blow doubled the man over before he collapsed to the floor unconscious. As the Dakanan prince turned to face the remaining enemies, two figures leapt out of the shadows to one side of the villains. The two new figures were dressed similarly to the other Shadow clones and closed with Red Lynx. Both the figures hands glowed with dark energy as they tried to strike the Dakanan prince, but Red Lynx was able to dodge each attack in turn. With the two new shadow clones engaging Red Lynx, the two that had been walking alongside the Thule sorcerers both raised their hands toward one of the two teenage girls in front of them. Each sent a blast of orange telekinetic force at the teens, but both Veroncia and Masque were able to dodge aside. "Forget them!" Cried out the Thule sorcerer that had tried to seize control of Veronica's mind. "Get to the exhibit to secure the artifact!" At the sorcerer’s command, the two telekinetic shadow clones lowered their hands as their bodies were surrounded by a similarly orange telekinetic aura and lifted up into the air. They then flew down the hallway, passing over Veronica and Masque and further down the hallway.

As mentioned in chat, no rolls are necessary.
