Tsunami (1) Do You Have To Be An Ocean Away?[/b] (1) GM (1) Crash on Volturnus (1)
-
GM Starshot's kick connects solidly in the pirate’s stomach, sending him flying to the side where he struck the electrified fence, jerking as the electrical current coursed through him. He then collapsed in a slightly smoking heap at the foot of the fence, out cold at least, if not worse. Outside the fence, Soreen shouted over to Laark and the Kurabanda. "Get down!" As she tossed a grenade toward the corner of the fence. She then dropped down behind a nearby sand rise, ducking down as she waited for the explosion. Laark and the Kuraband followed suit, diving to the ground near where they were. The combat robot continued forward, firing its built in blaster at Starshot once again. But once again the canny hunter managed to roll to one side just before it shot, coming back quickly to his feet to face off with it once more. A loud explosion echoed to the south of him, as Soreen's grenade blasted a large hole in the corner of the fence. The electricity of the fence flickered and sputtered, and then ceased its crackling as the circuit was broken, taking down the entire electrical current.

The pirate misses his save, so is knocked out and sent flying into the fence. Soreen shouts a warning to Laark and the Kurabanda and tosses a grenade at the corner of the fence near her and dives for cover. The combat robot continues to move forward, firing at Starshot again and misses again. Laark and the Kurabanda also dive down for cover as the grenade goes off and blows apart the corner of the fence, providing a means into the compound for them. Round Six 26 Starshot (unharmed, 2 HP) 26 Soreen (unharmed) 14 Combat Robot 2 (unharmed) 8 Laark (unharmed) 5 Kurabanda (all unharmed) Back to Starshot!

Tsunami As Tsunami walked back toward the party with her aunt, she gave a small nod as Monsoon asked if she seemed pleased with what her mother had said. "It is as favorable a meeting as I might expect after so many years." She replied with a small nod. She then remained quiet, her face impassive as she considered Monsoon’s other comment, wondering why Murjana would have reason to bother "her" students. When the pair returned to the party, Tsunami remained beside her aunt, bowing in greeting to the various gusts the mingled with. When Prince Kamau addressed Monsoon, Tusnami remained off to one side, not interjecting herself into the conversation given the question was made to Monsoon.

The Incoming Claremont Class
Thevshi replied to Avenger Assembled's topic in The Lighthouse: Catchphrase!
Well, there is also the Conundrum plot, which I was going to work on an opening thread for. I had a few adventure ideas where the Dangers take some friends along for some adventures (likely some during school breaks that would be outside the city/country) -
Tsunami Giang Trang made her way down one of the paths in Balboa Park. The Asian young woman was dressed in a pair of shorts and a red windbreaker that had the crest for the City of Del Mar on the front and the word "Lifeguard" across the back. She had a pair of sunglasses on as well. She had noted the cryptic messages that had appeared in the local paper recently, pointing towards someone waiting in this park. Why someone would go to so much trouble was a mystery to her. She half expected it might be a trap set by her father or one of Dr. Sin's other lieutenants. But she had taken her time looking around the exterior of the park when she had arrived. So far she had seen nothing that suggested a trap of any sort. So she had made her way into the park, looking for an area that met the description of what was described in the messages in the paper.

GM Down on the lower levels As Barrier expected, it was not difficult to find a narrow alleyway that did not appear to have any other beings in the sections Barrier could see. The large Lyankan led the energetic Hyperslice into the alleyway and off the main passage. They did not go too far in before the alley took a sharp turn, taking them out of view of the entrance where Barrier had seen their tail had stopped briefly to watch them before she had rounded the corner. Police Headquarters Traveller and Queenie were just starting to make their way back up the isle along the side of the room when Officer Dressa popped into view from the row of workstations. "Praetorians…we are already starting to get some hits!" She called out. When the two Praetorians came back down to the workstation, the officer was back in her seat, pulling up holographic displays of information her algorithm had detected. "See, there are several spikes in power usage over a number of microcycles. Only…they are in a number of different locations with the orbital city."

Hope things get better soon Blaze, we certainly will be thinking about you. As AA said, we will be happy to see you when you are able to come back!

Updated map. Did not add all the Kurabanda just yet, but they are with Laark and Soreen (the L and N on the map)

GM While Starshot might have been a bit slow, the pirate was even slower thanks to the effect of the poisoned dart. But while the whip hit its intended mark, the pirate managed to somehow resist the attack, staying on his feet, but still slowed. The combat robot moved closer, opening fire with its built in blaster. The bole of energy streaked dangerously close to Starshot, continuing on past him to strike the fence to the south. The slowed pirate managed to bring his blaster pistol up as he also took a shot at Starshot. But his aim was well off, and the blast struck the wall behind the space hunter. With all the attention focused on Starshot, Laark, Soreen and the Kurabanda all managed to close the remaining distance, coming up to the southwestern corner of the electrical fence.

The pirate gets a 25, actually 24 due to the slow, but still, so makes his toughness save! The combat robot shoots at Starshot, just missing with a 21. The pirate will take a shot at him as well, missing with a 17. Round Five 26 Starshot (unharmed, 2 HP) 26 Soreen (unharmed) 14 (unharmed) 8 Laark (unharmed) 5 Kurabanda (all unharmed) 5 Pirate 1 (unharmed, slowed (2d round)) Back to Starshot!

GM The poisoned dart struck true, hitting the humanoid pirate in the neck. He staggered slightly, but managed to stay on his feet. He was still moving, but was very lethargic in those movements. He turned to look in the direction of where Starshot was, his pistol now slightly lowered and no longer aimed out at the others. But even as the pirate staggered, the door to the building opened a third time, and another combat robot emerged. This one quickly scanned the area to the south, focusing in on Starshot where he was just around the corner. It started forward, bringing its built in weapon up to prepare to attack…
-
Another combat robot comes out the door, getting a 26 on its notice check, so it spots Starshot! Round Four 26 Starshot (unharmed, 2 HP) 14 Combat Robot 2 (unharmed) 5 Pirate 1 (unharmed, slowed (2d round)) Others 1 round away. Starshot is up first!
-
He gets a 17 so is slowed. He will just finish moving this round and not be able to act further. You can make your post.

That is good enough for Traveller to have an idea what building the planetary council meets in Tiff.

GM So far Starshot had momentum on his side. After quickly taking down the combat robot, he was able to toss his gas grenade into a section of the building and then moved around the corner of the building, taking cover for the moment as he prepared his next move. Glancing out toward the sands, he saw the others still running towards the outpost. They were still about a hundred meters away, and likely would take a bit longer to reach the fence. Taking a quick look around the corner, Starshot saw a pirate emerging from the building, using the same door the combat robot had. He had his pistol in his hand, but did not appear to notice Starshot, instead focusing his attention out into the desert towards the figures running toward the outpost. He started to move south, toward where Starshot was hiding around the corner, raising his pistol to aim out at one of the running figures…

The pirate that just came outside just misses his notice check. Okay, Round Three 26 Starshot (unharmed, 2 HP) Pirate 1 (unharmed) Others 2 rounds away. Starshot is up!
-
That is good enough.
-
Okay, can I get an attack roll to try to put the grenade through the small holes made by the other grenade?
-
The robot only gets a 9, so it is scrap! So, Round Two 26 Starshot (unharmed, 2 HP) Others 3 rounds away What will Starshot do now?
