"Well," the redheaded duplicator began, "while that at least stops you from destroyin' the place, I'm not about ta help you take an item you claim ta have ownership over. You will forgive me if I take that claim with some skepticism." "But unfortunately that doesn' really resolve the situation we find ourselves in." She then continued. "An' I would note, you're currently lackin' your backup band." The Irish teen gestured around the area where all of the punk band was no unconscious. "So, I would say yer odds have significantly worsened."

GM As Vueriz continued to work on reconfiguring the Meson Driver to try to breech the barrier of the robed figure, the time shades it had summoned continued to move into action. A tall, thin reptilian humanoid rushed forward, moving rather quickly but not as fast as the insectoid had. As it drew close to Lawrence, it aimed an energy weapon at the teen. But the blast just went wide, as Lawrence just sidestepped with a faint ripple of temporal energy. Back over near the robed figure, two of the female time shades were next to act. The first was a beautiful woman that appeared human, though with green hair and lavender eyes. Those eyes fixed their gazed on Spaceman, as a blast of golden telekinetic energy rippled out, the powerful shock wave tearing up the grass between them before slamming into the teen. The other was a female humanoid with short white hair and dull black skin, pointed ears and glowing white eyes. A pair of black, hawklike wings spread out and quickly carried her into the air as she flew up over toward Spaceman. Stopping a couple dozen feet away, she extended her hands to unleash a powerful sonic shockwave at Spaceman. Once again, the powerful attack slammed hard into the blond teen…

Okay, Varlis will run up and try to shoot Lawrence with a blaster, but misses. X'madi will try to hit Spaceman with a telekinetic blast, hitting with an 18. @RocketLord that is a DC 27 toughness save. Sai'x will fly into the air and attack Spaceman with a sonic blast, hitting with a 28! (a critical hit). @RocketLord that is a DC 33 toughness save for that attack! Then @Poncho it is Golden Star's turn!

Velocity Megan glanced in the mirror to look back at Mattie as the teen talked about some of the things she wanted to do this trip. "We will see how much of that we can arrange for this trip." The blonde woman said. "There will be other opportunities once you are here for school as well." She added with a smile before focusing fully on the road once again. Their route had merged with a freeway as they started north. It was not long before they were crossing the Century Bridge over towards Kingston and North Bay. While the bridge was fairly busy, the slower traffic also affords a longer opportunity for Mattie to look out towards downtown freedom city, the massive Sentry Statute facing in her direction from the edge of the skyline. "Well…I am good with just getting a chance to know you better and take you to as many of the sites as we can." Lynn responded to Mattie's question, although she seemed a bit distracted by something, as well as a bit hesitant. After a few moments pause, the blonde teen continued. "Mattie….there is something you should know, something that was not something I could talk about on the phone or in email or texts." Lynn paused again, seeming as if she was trying to collect herself. "I…am not from this timeline."

GM La Puma moved up to deliver a solid hit on the Annihilist as the tall woman was trying to get back to her feet. However, while the attack easily landed, it was like hitting a brick wall and the woman seemed unaffected by the attack. A short distance away, Bruiser looked up as Bernadette knocked the black armored Omegadrone that had been attacking him down, momentarily freeing him up from combat. "Yeah, sure thing." The large figure said as he climbed back up to his feet, offering the redhead a small smile. He then turned his attention back to the fight at hand. His gaze first fell on the Omegadrone that had tried to stab him while he was recovering from the Annihilist’s attack, so the hulking man stepped forward and tried to slam his massive fist down onto the black armored figure. However, the blow glanced harmlessly off the black armor, as the force of Bruiser’s punch was delivered to the pavement, smashing a hole into it and sending small chunks flying in all directions.

Multi-Girl Bernadette watched as the young Star Khan took off into the air before turning to look at Nightscale. "That was shoor odd." She said with a smile as Charlie came over towards them. At his question about what was going on, the Irish teen glanced over towards where most of the other members of the team were gathered around Vik, along with a couple of her duplicates. "Ghule is havin' a bit o' confidence issues. I think the others have helped reassure her she did fine." The redhead said in a low voice. She then spoke up a bit louder as she added, "So, we waitin' fer the police ta arrive, or goin' ta clear out?"

Multi-Girl The Omegadrone that had attacked Daniel staggered backward slightly from Iris’ mental attack, but it remained on its feet and in the fight, if momentarily dazed. As Iris glanced around the area, she did not see anything that seemed particularly useful in the current situation. However, she did spot the mysterious figure in the tattered black robe that had appeared on a nearby rooftop and was observing the chaotic battle. In the thick of the chaos, Bernadette went into action once more, even more of her duplicates popping into existence as the redheads spread out to engage the Annihilist and as many of the Omegadrones as they could get to. One of the duplicates ran over to Madrigal Martinet as the Annihilist was starting to push herself back up right, delivering a knee to the side of the woman’s head that knocked her reeling once more, although still not taking her out of the fight. The original Bernadette moved over to deliver a solid punch to the black armored Omegadrone that had tried to stab Bruiser, knocking the large armored figure to the ground and nearly knocking it out completely. "Come on big guy, this isn' over yet." She said to Bruiser with a slight grin as she looked about at her other duplicates engaging with other Omegadrones. In a few moments, two more of the black armored Omegadrones had been knocked down and almost take out of the fight. Six of the normal Omegadrones were also unconscious. However, the Omegadrone that had attack Daniel managed to withstand the kick from one of the redheaded duplicates.

@Tiffany Korta Going to keep this moving, give me an action for Starshine when you can. Multi-Girl will unleash her duplicate selective area attack once more, she is able to get to Martinet, 4 of the elite Omegadrones and 8 of the normal ones: she gets a 20 on her attack roll, which normally would miss Martinet, but as she is still prone, that is good enough (and hits all the Omegadrones). So, DC 27 toughness saves: Martinet: 21, which is another bruise and dazed again. Elite Omegadrones : 2 bruised: 14 and 13 So both are staggered and dazed. One with two bruises: just makes it's save so is fine 1 unharmed: 14, so it is also staggered and dazed The eight normal Omegadrones: two manage to make their saves, but the other six go down. @MoonSimply La Puma is up!

Multi-Girl The duplicate quickly rolled back up to her feet as Charlie vaulted himself over her. Turning back to face him, the redhead weighed her next move. As long as he had his staff, he had a clear advantage and more options on facing her. So, this time when the duplicate moved in, her goal was not to get at Charlie, but to catch ahold of the staff. If she could get ahold of it, her strength should be more than enough get it away from Charlie. Meanwhile, the original Bernadette took a couple steps backward as she quickly dodged Vik’s flurry of strikes. "Not quiet how my duplicates work." The Irish teen said to her teammate with a slight grin. "While I have a mental link with my duplicates, I don' control them or anythin'." As she dodged to the side of the last of Vik's punches, the redhead spotted an opening and reached out quickly to grab Vik’s wrist as she shifted to the right side of the zombie girl. In a quick movement, Bernadette pulled on Vik's arm so it was extended out, while her free hand pushed on the other girl's upper back. A moment later, she had Vik down on the mat, right arm pinned out to the side and Bernadette’s knee in her upper back. The redhead’s left arm grabbed Vik's left wrist, pushing it down before she could try to push herself back up.

NPC/Lynn Lynn gave Jack a faint smile as he offered her some of the food he had gathered. "Thank you, Jack, but I am good for now." She said before focusing back on the nearest painting for a moment. From where he was standing it appeared to Alden that the nearby groups of people were engaged in casual conversations about a variety of topics, while casually studying the art near them. The nearest paintings were rather eye catching, with large areas of bright bold colors (various hues of red, orange and yellow) with offsetting cooler areas (with shades of blue and white). One was of a path through a row of trees with a solitary figure walking along it, the other was a row of buildings along a city street. "So, Alden, where are you from originally?" Lynn asked.

GM The troopers that had surrendered in place hesitated a moment before following Eclipse’s orders, moving over toward the building and the remaining Thuarian guards that cautiously exited the building with their weapons aimed at the troopers. Soon, they had secured the Khanate forces there as Eclipse turned her attention to the last remaining threat in the area, a badly damaged Khanate Hunter mech. Unleashing a hail of fire on the mecha, Eclipse scored several solid hits, blasting additional pot marks into the mecha’s armor. It staggered back a step before stopping, the pilot seeming to weigh his options. Then the arms of the mecha lowered, its main weapon arm pointing down towards the ground as the pilot opened the access hatch and began to climb out, holding out her hands in surrender as she did so. It was then that the armored form of the young Star Khan flew back into view, carrying the unconscious form of Justicar Gor'an with him. The armored figure flew over to the central plaza where Eclipse was standing, able to keep an eye both on the surrendering Khanate soldiers and the mecha pilot. As he landed in the plaza, the young Star Khan dropped the unconscious Justicar to the ground, generally in front of the Thuarian leaders and Ambassador Laar, who had emerged from the building which still had smoking blast marks along the exterior. "Esteemed representatives of the people of Thuarus, I apologize that the Khanate failed to recall Gor'an sooner. As I announced upon my arrival, the Stellar Khanate no longer lays claim to Thuarus and will recognize its independent sovereignty." Kinarr Khan stated with a small nod of his head to the Thuarians. "I hope that we can soon begin talks to establish formal diplomatic relations and trade agreements, with the assistance of the honorable Lor ambassador of course." The young Khan continued, looking to Laar as he spoke. The experienced Lor diplomate had managed to regain his composure since the initial appearance of the new Star Khan and the attack by Gor'an's forces, so he once again had a neutral and detached expression on his face. "Illustrious Star Khan, I thank you for assisting in protecting the Thuarian delegation and capturing Gor'an." The Lor diplomate began. "But, I am sure you can understand if the people of Thuarus might view your offer for diplomatic and trade relations with some skepticism." Kinarr gave Laar a small smile. "I do understand the concern ambassador. If they prefer, the people of Thuarus could opt to join in the peace and trade agreements one of my ambassadors is currently negotiating on CoVic Station with Imperator Th'emme and representatives from the Republic and Coalition worlds."

I think I had made a roll but forgot to post it. It had picked up another bruised and dazed, but I am going to have the mecha pilot surrender as well and we will be out of combat.

Multi-Girl As everyone started to arrive, Bernadette turned to face them, giving Neko a wide smile and a wave in return. "Glad you were able to make it Neko." The redhead said to her roommate and friend. "Hey Pol," the Irish teen said as she arrived with her own unique snacks for the movie. "Thanks for getting the drinks Vik." She added as the other girl brough in the drinks she had just bought and began to set them out.

Timeout Lawrence raised an eyebrow slightly as Mizuki mentioned a possible date in England. "Just one?" He said with a grin. The blond teen only let that hang for a moment before continuing, "but seriously, I am always up for popping back and forth across the pond to hang out with you." "There are certainly a number of things we could do if you made your way over to England. But, if you like, we could instead head to Paris, or perhaps somewhere along the Mediterranean coast." ------------------------------- "Yeah, it's fine." Lynn replied to Sam as she stepped away from the game to allow Daniel to resume playing. The blonde teen seemed just content to observe for the moment.

GM Rock managed to catch both of the Hunter mechs in the lava blast, the one closest to him being knocked off its feet and badly damaged by the hot liquid that hardened around parts of it, rending it inoperable. The more distant mecha took a solid hit as well, being knocked to the ground and sustaining further damage. But it did not seem to be fully out of commission just yet. In the town, the Khanate forces caught of glimpse of what was transpiring to the north of the town, with the drop ship being shot down and the two mecha they were counting on for support taking hits from the burst of lava from Rock. It was then that half the troopers dropped their weapons and held up their hands in surrender. The other half turned and began to run, heading back towards the south edge of town.

Will say you are just able to catch both. They both miss the reflex saves. They get 11 and 19 on their toughness saves, so the unharmed one he had been fighting is knocked out, the other takes a third bruise and is dazed.

Velocity "No need to apologize Mattie." Megan replied with a smile as the three started towards the exit of the terminal. The airport was certainly busy with activity and outside Mattie found it to been even busier, the street in front of the terminal crowded with cars and buses. Luckily they were able to take sky bridge over all of that to the short-term parking building. It was not long before Mattie and Lynn were sitting in the back of an electric BMW SUV as they started away from the airport, with Megan taking them along State Route 4 to the south of the airport. The freeway was already busy, but they were not on very long before they turned off onto South Bay and headed into the hills south of Freedom City. As they were driving through the wooded area along South Bay, Megan pointed off to the south not long after they had gotten off the freeway. "Claremont Academy a short way south of here. We will be sure to take you there for a tour while you're here." Lynn had been a bit quiet since they had gotten into the car, seeming as if she was a bit nervous about something. "Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to doing while here?" She finally asked the other girl.
