That does hit, she gets a 25 on her toughness save so picks up a second bruise.
-
Paradigm Galvanic's blurring attack managed to strike all four of her targets. The cat creature that had attacked Rev was sent flying off its feet, flying over towards the nearby building, but disappearing completely before it struck. Both the flying simulacrum and the one with the cybernetic arms were hurt by the attack, while the large one fighting Paradigm took the blow with little regard. As Galvanic came to a halt after her sudden attack, Paradigm launched her own against the large figure right in front of her. First she delivered a powerful left hook that caused the towering simulacrum to take a step back as its head was snapped to one side. But the Naram paragon immediately followed that up with an equally powerful right haymaker, which hit the simulacrum square in the chest and sent it flying off the glowing ramp it had created. The simulacrum glanced off the pavement, breaking off chunks, and then smashed through a corner of a nearby building and then continued to fly onward out of sight, the sound of another loud impact suggesting it had hit another building further on.

Okay, some saves: Not!Sai’x: 14, this one I will reroll (have a HP), so she gets a bruise Not!Cor: 32 NADA Not!Zadvian: 10 OUT Not!Sullek: 28 bruised The two bad guys after Galv were dazed after acting last round, so miss their actions this round. That brings up Paradigm, who will power attack Cor (-2/+2), hitting with a 20, so DC 35 toughness save for not!Cor, who gets a 31 so only a bruise. Hmm, she will surge and punch him again (same power attack), 11, boo, reroll: 24, not!Cor gets a 25 this time, so Staggered and dazed. There is 13 knockback, (DC 28 toughness save), which he gets a 31 again. Paradigm will then ready her Interpose again. SFX is up!

GM As the cat creature knocked Rev down, some of its teammates continued to press the attack, to varying degrees of success. The large simulacrum with the glowing mallet created a ramp of glowing blue energy and then rushed up it, charging at Paradigm. As it reached the paragon, it swung its glowing mallet at her, but Paradigm was able to raise up her right hand and push the swing aside. The winged simulacrum then soared forward, moving over behind Paradigm as she faced the group of heroes gathered around Lawrence. The simulacrum then released a wide blast of sonic energy, which swept out over the gathered group. Galvanic and Seresk were both hit by it, but were able to shrug off the attack. Lawrence just avoided, dodging to one side so Seresk shielded him from the blast. The feline simulacrum managed to dodge aside, and Magnetar was able to pull away from the outer end of the blast, while SFX took the full brunt of the blast as well.

Okay, with Cape having Rev be dazed…. Not!Cor will use create object to form a ramp up towards Paradigm, then surge to charge and attack her (using full power attack -5/+5). But he misses badly with a 12. Not!Sai’x flies over closer moving a bit behind and to the side of Paradigm. She then unleashes a targeted cone sonic blast at the grouped good guys (going out 120’), getting a 18 on her roll. That is good enough to hit Galv, SFX and Seresk (DC 27 toughness saves), just missed Lawrence thanks to his total defense action, misses Rev and Magnetar. Seresk gets a 31, so he is fine. Galv will be up after her save. Here is a new map Ecal.

"Yes, I want to believe that Daar and the others would be proud of the work we have done since reawakening and finding our original purpose as an organization to be gone." Amara stated as she and Liora began making their way out of the memorial room. The Naram then smiled as the Tegregenisian mentioned being cooped up and wanting to get some food. "Things have been rather uncharacteristically quiet the last few days. Hopefully that is a good sign, and not one of some dire situation looming." "But some food does sound like a wonderful distraction." She then added, as the pair continued through the halls of the headquarters and towards the lounge. The Praetorian headquarters' lounge was located along an outer edge of the facility. The space covered three levels of the headquarters in a tiered design that consisted of various platforms and seating areas stretched over the three levels. The outer wall of the lounge curved upward from the lower level towards the upper level, and was several large sections of plasti-steel, providing a view of the nearby nebula as well as the wormhole which connected the otherwise remote CoVic station to other parts of the quadrant. Even at this distance, a steady flow of space traffic could be seen entering and exiting the wormhole.

Took out the highlighting and added the use of the Veteran Award that you have noted elsewhere APPROVED

GM "Across the planet there are six different corporations that possess mineral rights." The security chief answered in response to Spectra's question. "There are a few instances where a one of those corporations has subcontracted with smaller corporations for the actual mining of certain deposits." The start of the turbolift ride was rather confining, as they passed through a narrow passage that went down through the rock. But after what seemed several hundreds of feet, Lo-Rid put on his breath mask and suddenly the lift opened up into a massive underground chamber. The chamber arched outward what appeared to be at least a mile in any direction, although it was difficult to tell because the turbolift was up against what appeared to be a massive rocky column in the center of the chamber, several of which appeared to have turbolifts along them as well. Several other rock columns were scattered about the chamber as well. The bottom of the chamber was more than couple thousand feed down, and they could make out massive mining machines scattered about it. Numerous tunnels, appearing to be a hundred feet across, dotted the outer edge of the chamber, appearing to slope down deeper into the planet. The air was thick with smoke, dirt and other gases. About what one might expect from a heavy mining operation taking place in a highly volcanic location. Shortly the turbolift reached the bottom and Lo-Rid led the Praetorians out, but they had not gotten very far when a disturbance off to one side caught there attention. There was a large crowd of beings, about half wearing the utility coveralls of Regulas Corp employees, the other half in a different style of similar utility clothing. Scattered within the crowd were several Regulas Corp security personnel and what looked like other uniformed security personnel, trying to separate the two halves of the crowd. "Excuse me a moment Praetorians," Officer Lo-Rid stated as he saw the scene, "I believe this requires my attention for the moment."

GM The bits of steel and some concrete like substance that SFX pulled up from the ground struck the simulacrum with the cybernetic arms and sword just as he was turning back around to face the group. The impact knocked him off his feet and sent him flying nearly ten yards to land hard on the ground, barely half conscious. The large reptilian humanoid looked up at Paradigm as he replied. "Understood Paradigm." He said in a deep gravely voice and heavily accented English. He then glanced over his shoulder towards Rev and SFX as he added, "although I am not so certain the Terrans are in need of much protection." He then turned back to regard the hulking simulacrum that was charging forward while also keeping an eye on the SFX, Rev and Lawreence. One of the hovering simulacrums, a very attractive human looking female, flew forward slightly before sending a telekinetic blast at Paradigm. But the attack was badly aimed and missed the hovering paragon. Back behind where SFX and Rev were standing, the dark green skinned alien that had been addressed as Magnetar flew slightly over to one side as he fired a magnetic blast at the speeding reptilian humanoid that had earlier shot at Rev. The magnetic blast hit the simulacrum, knocking it off its feet and sending it flying into the side of a building, where, it landed on the ground hurt and barley conscious. Another simulacrum came running forward slightly, a short squat humanoid with three finger on each hand and a stocky build. The figure raised a hand and sent a beam of energy at Paradigm, which this time struck the Naram, but she seemed completely unfazed by the attack. The last of the flying simulacrums, this one wearing dark clothes and a long coat, drifted forward slightly as he raised his hand and sent a blast of electricity flying towards SFX. Before the blast had gotten the entire way there, Paradigm flew over to her left, putting herself between SFX and the attack. The bolt of electricity hit the paragon, but like some of the other attacks against her, seemed to have little effect as it spread out over her torso. Standing up on the building on which it had originally appeared, the robed figure stood with its arms crossed in front of it, watching the scene before it. Then the speeding figure of the insectoid simulacrum came streaking back around the corner of a building, rushing right towards SFX as it prepared to attack. Suddenly Seresk was between SFX and the alien, even as the large reptilian swung its spiked tail at the speeding simulacrum. But the insectoid managed to duck underneath the attack, as it delivered a blindingly fast strike that caused a small *CRACK* when it broke the sound barrier. The attack struck Seresk squarely in his stomach, but the large reptilian just grunted slightly in pain, holding his ground even as the speedy simulacrum sped off out of sight again. Over where Rev had thrown it, the feline simulacrum kipped itself back up to its feet as its eyes locked onto Rev. Letting out something of a roar, it rushed forward, leaping at the teenager as it slashed her with its claws…

Not!Sullek rolls poorly for his toughness save, getting a 14, which is staggered and dazed, he is also knocked 25 feet away. He saves vs the knockback damage (DC 20), but makes it. Seresk readies an action and takes a free action to talk a bit. Not!Adiri is dazed. Not!X'madi is going to attack Paradigm with a TK blast, power attacking (-2/+2), she totally misses with a 11. Magnetar will fire a magnetic blast at not!Varlis, hitting with a 24. Not!Varlis only gets a 11 vs DC 27, so is staggered and dazed and suffers 9 knockback, which puts him into a wall, where he takes more damage, but makes that second toughness save. Not!Santri will fire a disintegration blast at Paradigm, hitting with a 23 (Paradigm was going to let that hit anyway), the damage bounces off her Impervious, and she makes her Fort save vs the Drain. Not!Amiki will fire a bolt of electricity at SFX, which would hit with a 16. But Paradigm interposes, taking the hit, which bounces off her Impervious. That brings us to, Round Two 49 Robed Figure (unharmed) 48 not!Procyus (1) (unharmed) 38 not!Varlis (2) (staggered and dazed) 28 Lawrence (unharmed) 25 not!Zadvian (3) (bruised) 25 Rev (bruised, 4 HP) 22 not!Cor (5) (unharmed) 21 not!Sai’x (6) (unharmed) 21 Galvanic (bruised, 3 HP) 21 not!Pheydyn (7) (bruised, staggered, dazed) 20 not!Sullek (8) (staggered, dazed) 20 Paradigm (unharmed, 4 HP) 19 SFX (unharmed, 3 HP) 18 Seresk (unharmed) 17 not!Adiri (9) (bruised, dazed) 11 not!X'madi (10) (unharmed) 10 Magnetar (unharmed) 9 not!Santri (11) (unharmed) 3 not!Amikri (12) (unharmed) The robed figure does nothing. Not!Procyus comes running back around the corner, coming up behind the group to try to attack SFX, Seresk uses his interpose to get between them and activates his readied action to lash out with his tail spike, but misses with a 9 Not!Procyus goes ahead and hits Seresk, getting a natural 20 for a critical hit, Seresk only gets a 26 on his toughness save, so he takes a bruise. Not!Varlis is dazed. Lawrence again takes a full defense action. Not!Zadvian kips up to his feet and rushes forward to attack Rev, hitting with a 29, that is a DC 25 toughness save for Rev. Then it is Rev’s turn.

This is a good thing to get started Ex! Thanks for doing so. To just clarify the timeline a little bit: Paradigm; Moon-Moth; Traveller; Seresk and Magnetar (and Kharag, Dragonid and Elite) all joined the Praetorians at roughly the same time 2000 years ago. As Ex indicated, they were members for about four years before the ancient battle with the Communion. Puigo would have been a member well before they were, while Spectra’s joining the team is a bit less defined, likely sometime after the Paradigm/Moon-Moth/Taveller group, but certainly before the final battle. Cavalier has been working with the team since shortly after the Incursion, so about three years, while most of the other new members (Hyperslice, Queenie and Galvanic) have been with the team about a year or less.

To help you out some Blaze, here is an updated map. That line down in the lower left hand corner is about 50' long so you can get the rough scale.

Paradigm After shaking off the mental blast, Paradigm turned her focus on the simulacrum of Pheydyn. Similar to Galvanic, the Naram suddenly shot forward to slam into the simulacrum and send it crashing into the ground with enough force to smash a small crater around it. As dust and debris settled from the impact and creation of the crater, Paradigm drifted back toward her initial position, in order to be closer to the three Terrans to try to protect them from any attacks. "Seresk, continue to guard the Terrans, Magnater, try to pick off the simulacrums of Procyus and Varlis." She called out in English. <"Galvanic, the hovering female Lor simulacrum is a powerful telekentic, the hovering male in dark clothing can generate electricity, which should not be a problem for you. The short, squat simulacrum on the ground can disintegrate objects and beings. The rock covered female the Terran knocked down is incredibly strong and durable."> She then added, switching to Gal Standard, as she quickly described the abilities of the simulacrums that had not yet acted.

Paradigm will switch her array to: full Enhanced Str (plus feats); Flight 3 and +7 Super Strength (+42 grapple).. She will then do a flying charge at not!Pheydyn, using the base power attack to shift the +2 attack from the charge to damage. She hits with a 25, DC 35 toughness save. Not!Pheydyn gets a 27, which is only bruised and dazed. The knockeback is 15, into the ground, so has to make a second toughness save 17 so now staggered as well. She will then drift back as well closer to Lawrence and the others, preparing her Interpose if needed. SFX is up!

GM The next simulacrum to act was a male humanoid with light blue skin, dressed in pants and a long robe-like coat that was open in the front exposing his bare chest, on which was a dark purple tattoo vaguely resembling an eye. The figure focused his gaze on the hovering female humanoid in white and black, and sent a blast of psychic energy at her. The blast struck unerringly, but the target was able to shake off the attack. Another male humanoid simulacrum them moved, rushing forward and leaping into the air so that he arched over toward where Galvanic was hovering. As he approached, his two cybernetic arms readied the sword he held in hand, slashing at the Tempestian with all his strength as he passed to land a short distance away. The powerful attack hit, and managed to hurt Galvanic, but she was still far from out of the fight.

Not!Pheydryn sends a mental blast at Paradigm, DC 25 Will save, Paradigm gets a 27, so is fine. Not!Sullek will leap towards Galvanic, Power Attacking (-5/+5), just hitting with a 13, that is a DC 30 toughness save for Galv.

GM Rev's aim was indeed true, as the feline simulacrum slammed into a female humanoid simulacrum that was incased in rocky armor. The force of the throw was sufficient that both ended up in a heap on the ground, the feline hurt while the rock covered female appeared at least momentarily dazed. But even as Rev was celebrating her throw, another of the new simulacrums was in motion. A fully metallic humanoid cyborg that appeared vaguely female leapt into portal that tore open next to it. At the same moment, a similar portal appeared near Rev, and the cyborg simulacrum dropped out of it, slashing out with a plasma sword that extended from the wrist of its right arm. The blade slashed Rev along her right arm and shoulder, burning her slightly, as another portal opened parallel with the ground and the cyborg disappeared through it once more, stepping out of another portal on the roof of the building to SFX and Rev's left. Another of the simulacrums, this one a nearly eight foot tall wiry male hairless humanoid with grey toned flesh and rather square and angular features and sharp teeth jutting out of its mouth from the lower jaw started forward, running with a howl of a battle cry as a large glowing mallet of energy appeared in its hands. It was running towards the large reptoid that had moved to protect Lawrence, but was not able to make it the entire way. One of the flying simulacrums, a female humanoid with dark black skin, short white hair, pointed ears and a pair of black, hawklike wings continued to hover in place as she sent a blast of sonic energy at the female humanoid in white and black. But the blast missed the target, echoing through the air and off into the distance.

Not!Rux will teleport over and attack Rev, hitting with a 24 That is a DC 25 toughness save for Rev. Not!Rux will then teleport away to the top the building just to the left of where SFX, Rev and company are huddled. Not!Cor will do a double move forward towards the group around Lawrence, not quite making it all the way. Not!Sai'x will fire a sonic blast at Paradigm, missing with a 11. Galvanic is up!
-
Okay, not!Zadvian does not beat that that grapple check and Rev has plenty of strength to throw him. That easily hits not!Adiri (who is a female humanoid, covered with rocky armor). Not!Zadvian only gets a 22 on his toughness save and is bruised. Not!Adiri has partial immunity to physical damage, so it is only a DC 20 toughness save for her, and she rolls a natural one so is bruised and dazed!

Okay, to help us, here is a rough map. I have tried to use the colored letters for the heroes like I used in the initiative list (I used an X for SFX). The numbers are the not!deadly dozen (in order of their initiatives). Any number or letter with a circle around it is in the air. The squares/rectangles are buildings. RF is the robed figure.
-
So, first up, not!Procyus will zip over to try to grab Lawrence, the large reptoid (Seresk) interposes, he missed anyway with a 12, he will then zip away at superspeed. Not!Varlis will rush over at high speed and shoot at Rev, but misses with a 18 and will also zip away. Lawrence takes the Total Defense action, stays near SFX and Rev (and Seresk) Not!Zadvian leaps forward to try to grab Lawrence as well, just missing with a 17 thanks to the total defense action. Rev’s action! (tell me if you want a crude map!)

GM "Umm.." Lawrence had been about to answer when the robed figure spoke up once more, interrupting him. "This has become quite tiresome, but it appears I have little choice but to expend more energy on this endeavor." The figure stated as it waved one of its sleeve covered hands in front of it. As it did so, a dozen figures began to appear spread out along the area between it and those gathered around Lawrence. They were as assorted as the various aliens the three humans had seen since they had arrived here, with some that appeared reptilian, another that was clearly some sort of giant humanoid insect with four arms, and two humanoids that possessed a varying degree of cybernetics. Like the simulacrums of Lawrence's parents before, these new figures seemed to have slightly faded colors, almost greyish in tint. As these figures appeared, the large reptilian humanoid near SFX, Rev and Lawrence tensed, as did the female hovering in the air closer towards the new arrivals and the robed figure. Almost as soon as they appeared, some of the summoned figures leapt into action. The four armed insectoid suddenly moved in a blur of motion, rushing right towards Lawrence at speeds faster than the speed of sound, creating a small sonic boom in its wake. But at almost the last moment, the large reptilian humanoid stepped over in front of the attacker, blocking its way towards Lawrence. Rather than try to grapple the hulking figure, the insectoid turned aside and continued on past, zipping around the corner of a building and out of sight. Following right behind the first was another of the new simulacrums summoned by the robed figure, a baled humanoid with scales. It sped forward as well, no nearly as fast, but still fast enough. As it sped past where the three humans were standing, it aimed a strange looking pistol at Rev and rapidly fired off five blasts of energy at the teenager. Rev was able to dodge aside and the blasts went wide, the figure then continuing on past several dozen meters. Lawrence tensed between SFX and Rev, but seemed just like he was preparing to dodge any other attacks that might come at him, which happened soon enough. The next simulacrum to move was a feline humanoid with what looked like dark brown fur (it was difficult to tell given how faded it seemed). The creature bounded forward quickly, leaping at Lawrence with its arms outstretched to try to grab him. But Lawrence moved quickly, a bit of a blur himself and dodged aside, narrowly avoiding the attempt.

GM As Queenie took to the air, Spectra reached out with her psychic third eye, examining the areas ahead of her for any sign of disturbance. As she studied the courtyard beyond the front gate, her psychic vision looked over the small garden that lay between the gate and the main entrance to the tower. She was just able to spot the prone form of an Assembly security officer under one of the shrubs. Near the front entrance to the tower, she was just able to spot the kneeling form of a Zultasian in some sort of body armor with a reflective surface that helped conceal him. He had a weapon in hand and was obviously watching the main gate. Looking beyond that courtyard and into the main entrance, Spectra found it completely empty, with no sign of any Assembly security forces or acolytes. As Queenie flew up along the outside of the tower, she noticed very little that seemed amiss, of course it was difficult to know for sure, as the glass (or glasslike) surfaces of the tower were nearly mirror like, not allowing any view of the interiors from the outside.
