So go ahead and make a post Rav!

Paradigm Amara listened to Kresh's concerns about the apparent lack of security. "For someone like Lexa, I would imagine more nondescript security would be preferable to the blatantly obvious. Of course, it is also possible that the presence of a Star Knight and ourselves is intended to deter any that might have hostile intentions." She replied, wondering to herself if that was not in fact part of the reason Lexa had extended her invitation. "As for this being a 'high society' event, certainly there are a number of prominent beings from various parts of the sector, but Lexa has not limited herself only to such a selection of guests. When we first arrived, I noted the presence of two bounty hunters, Devil Dog and Red Spear. I would image there are a number of other guests from more varied backgrounds as well."

Paradigm "We thank you for your time, and look forward to the beginning of the opera." Amara replied to Lexa with a small bow as the artist prepared to take her leave. She then turned and returned Munn's bow as well. "It was a pleasure to meet you president." She said in farewell before the star stuck Munn set off after Lexa. The Naram then turned toward Sphere as the robot entered the dome and informed them of the Star Knight's request. "No need to apologize Sphere." Amara replied as she started toward the exit of the dome. "I am always happy to meet with a Star Knight."

This time Paradigm gets a below average roll and only gets a 20 on her check.

Paradigm Amara took the gin that Kresh offered, with a small smile. "Thank you Kresh, you are very right, it would be rude not to enjoy the offered hospitality." The Naram then turned to their hostess and her companion. "Lexa, President Munn Marneen, may I introduce one of my fellow Praetorians, Kresh Melek, also known as Barrier." She stated by way of introduction as the group started off with Lexa in the lead toward the location of the Bloom. Soon the group was inside the doom that housed the viewing area of the Bloom. Amara watched the rapid changes in color and shape as the Bloom died and was reborn several times in quick succession as she listened to Lexa's explanation of the most unusual organism. "I can certainly understand how it would be a great source of inspiration and wonder." She replied as the Bloom changed form once again, continuing its cycle of death and rebirth. "I can also understand the interest the Tinker and others would have in studying it."

So, like I said in chat Rav, while I might normally want to play on, this fight has gone on long enough. I will say you get a +2 circumstantial bonus to hit, so you hit her. She gets a 24 on her toughness save, so is bruised and dazed! You can go ahead and make a post with her teleporting near Pheydyn to try to grab him and port away and you blasting her.
-
Okay Rav, with X'Madi down, Moon-Moth dazed and Seresk off elsewhere, it is Rux's action. She will be teleporting near Pheydyn to try to port him away with her. Did you want to take Corona's readied action to try and blast her?
-
Two, Pheydyn and Rux (wherever she is)
-
That is a hit, X’Madi only gets a 14 on her toughness save, so she is staggered, dazed and bruised. For the sake of story, I will say that causes her TK forcefield to go down, and as she gets slammed to the ground below, she is then knocked out!
-
GM If X'Madi had been confident that she and her other escaped criminals would be able to overcome the Praetorians, that belief took a severe blow as Cor and Zadvian both went down in quick succession. We need to withdraw and try to regroup or possibly seek to evade them and escape some other way. She stated over the mental link with the two remaining superpowered criminals. At the same time, she sent a wide blast of telekinetic energy out towards Paradigm and Moon-Moth, but the Lor's attack was rushed, and the telekinetic blast proved inaccurate, what little force struck the two Praetorians hardly bothering either. Even more discouraged by her in ability to even slow any of the Praetorians down, X'Madi lifted herself off the ground with her telekinesis, and started to fly away from the battle and toward another part of the city.

Okay, X’Madi now realizes things are not going their way, she tries a targeted cone area attack on Paradigm and Moon-Moth to try to get them a bit of breathing room, and fails with a 14 to hit either. Mater is up Vahn!

Paradigm Amara gave a slight nod in agreement to Lexa's observations of her. The Naram certainly tried to project a sense of security and safety, and it was somewhat reassuring to know that was successful to some degree. "I very much look forward to the Opera, I would be very surprised if I did not find it interesting." She replied to the artist's initial comments. "Sphere did provide us some information on the Bloom," Amara replied as Lexa turned to that subject. "It sounds like a very interesting specimen, I would be privileged to see it." She replied, not paying much heed to Muun's hanging on Lexa's every word.

Paradigm Amara would have been a bit surprised if Munn had not at least heard of her, given his position. As for Lexa, the Praetorian had given even odds on how much the artist knew about her. Amara met Lexa's gaze with a friendly one of her own, rather expecting behavior such as this given the artist's reputation. She gave a small smile at the Lor woman’s questions. "I would certainly not say I love honor, duty or sacrifice. Value them to be certain, for I would have been ill suited as a Praetorian if I did not." "As for what makes my heart sing…that is an interesting question." She then continued. "Once, long ago, I would have said that it was my people and my family. Now, I would likely say that it is my fellow Praetorians, those who are all that is left of our collective past, and those who have chosen to join us since our reawakening."

Okay olopi, given how spaced out everyone is at the moment (ie you are not trying to separate individuals that are in melee or anything, I will say there is no need for the precise feat to do what you are trying to accomplish. We are going to need Reflex saves for everyone, as they get to try to dodge the effect of being trapped, unless anyone wants to voluntarily allow themselves to get placed behind the barrier (which you can do). Kazzan Suul gets a 26 for his save. The melee hunter gets a 16, blown yet another Reflex save, so she is trapped. Then Ruby will be up Dark!

Unfortunately due to range penalties, that is still not good enough to spot the sniper. What Barrier does see is the cyro rockets that froze a section of the market opposite where the fighting all seems to be taking place. She saw the various attacks from last round (such as Bliss unleashing the shockwave that tore up a section of makeshift stands), and the attacks that just occurred on Roulette and Bliss (although she is not sure where the first shot that hit Roulette came from). She also sees the four station peacekeepers that are headed toward the fight. In addition, she can see a figure in the shadows of an alleyway behind the scene of the fighting, along the path the peacekeepers are taking toward the fight. But she cannot clearly make out who or what that figure is.
-
Okay, that is another bruise and dazed. Barrier is up olopi! Need another Notice check for her to start.

GM Bliss' shockwave tore through the market, smashing makeshift stands that had been set up and scattering merchandise. The large insectoid bounty hunter was the closest to Bliss, and had started to try to dodge out of the way of the concussive force, but a chunk of synth-wood caught her lower leg and sent her toppling to the ground as the shockwave struck. But the hunter was still able to somehow roll with the impact, and springing back up to her feet with incredible agility, seemingly unharmed. Suul had a fraction of a second more before the shockwave reached him, and had dove behind a more solid building and out of the path of the concussive force. As Bliss' shockwave dissipated, a group of four station peacekeepers could be seen running toward the scene from behind the Voidrunners. Up on the opposite side of the Spinal Core, the sniper was back on her feet having dodged out of the path of Ruby's cryo rockets. Ice had formed over the building, but the bounty hunter did not let that slow her down as she leveled her weapon once more and focused on the area where the intense fight was taking place. This time Roulette was in her sights, as she took a careful breath and fired off another shot, which caught the Zultasian on the left shoulder, causing his body to twist slightly from the impact, but he otherwise managed to remain on his feet. Suul reemerged from behind the cover he had dove behind, both pistols in his hand once more as he unleashed a barrage of laser fire at Roulette. Several beams of bright energy struck the Zultasian, but he twisted away at just the right moment, and they glanced off with minimal effect. The insectoid bounty hunter rushed forward, closing the distance between herself and Bliss once more. "We will do far more than struggle." She promised as she sprung to one side, causing Bliss to turn to face her before leaping high into the air and flipping over the Xuli'pan, coming down behind her as the large weapon in the hunter’s hand came up to slam into Bliss' chest just as she spun around. The blow once again knocked Bliss off her feet, as she landed in the middle of the now empty market street a dozen feet away.

recruitment Under Da Sea, Down where it's wetter!

Paradigm Amara looked out over the crowd of guests a moment, carefully making an initial glance at those gathered around. While she had attended functions such as this back during the height of the Delzatri Empire (and ones far larger), they had not been her most comfortable setting. But that hand changed during the Incursion and since, as she had been required to take on a more diplomatic role in dealing with galactic leaders. Time spent with Elite and Ambassador Th'emme had helped her hone her skills in such settings. "No, that will be perfectly fine." She replied to Kresh when the Lyankan indicated she was going to see what there was in terms of food. As her teammate moved away, Amara started forward as well, noting a few recognizable faces out of the crowd in addition to Lexa herself. The aquatic humanoid speaking with Lexa was a leader within the Lor Republic she recognized. Then there where the two bounty hunters, Devil Dog and Red Spear, who certainly stood out among the crowd, but that was not completely unexpected, given Lexa's reputation. Amara had encountered her share of bounty hunters, both in the past and since she had awoken, and they could range from freelance law enforcement officers to little more than hired guns for criminal syndicates, with some shifting between the two extremes regularly. Starting off in the direction of Lexa and her aquatic companion, Amara moved smoothly through the crowd over to the pair. "My greetings Lexa, President Munn Marneen." She stated as she reached the pair. "I am Amara Val-Ren, also known as Paradigm, current Imperatrix of the Praetorians." She gave a slight bow of her head to the two. "My teammate and I are both greatly honored for your invitation to attend your latest production." She added, focusing on the Lor artist.

Paradigm Amara took a moment to look out over Nocturne as she brought the shuttle into the planet's orbit to begin the landing. As a member of the Praetorians, two thousand years ago and in the present time, she had visited hundreds of worlds. Nearly all had a beauty about them, and Nocturne was no different. As she brought them down to land, Amara glanced down at the intricate stage that had been created for the opera they were to attend, appreciative of the effort that went into the production. When they had set down and prepared to debark, Sphere provided some warnings about the planetary conditions, although for Amara they were not of any concern. "We thank you for your hospitality and the cautionary advice." She replied to the small robot as they exited the craft into the Nocturne atmosphere. Looking up at her towering teammate, Amara gave a small smile. "I do not believe we need to be quite as formal while we are here Kresh. Amara would be fine, or even just Paradigm." Turning back out to the facility before them, she then added, "as for our first destination, I do not believe there is any pressing need to go make our way to the living quarters that have been set aside. So we should likely not delay in meeting our fellow guests, and possibly our hostess as well."

Okay, that brings up to: Round Four 29 Sniper (unharmed) 27 Kazzan Suul (unharmed) 21 Melee Bounty Hunter (unharmed) 19 Barrier (unharmed, 1 HP) 18 Ruby Vox (bruised 2, 1 HP) 17 Jaas Bounty Hunter (unharmed) 16 Bounty Hunter 2 (staggered, bruised) 15 Roulette (Unharmed, 4 HP) 13 Bliss (bruised, 1 HP) 13 Station Peacekeepers (4) Okay, the sniper is going to take a short at Roulette this round, she gets a 26, which is a hit, so a DC 25 toughness save for Roulette. Kazzan will also open fire on Roulette, autofiring his two pistols, he gets a 27, which gives a +2 bonus for the autofire, so also a DC 25 toughness save. Meanwhile the Melee Hunger will close back into melee with Bliss, performing a Fast Acrobatic Bluff and getting a 33, Bliss cannot beat that with either Acrobatics or Sense Motive, so is flat footed. The hunter will power attack (-3 atk/+3 dam), getting a 14, which is just a little over what is needed to hit Bliss’ flat-footed defense, so DC 28 toughness save for Bliss.

Paradigm Amara was hardly the most skilled pilot among the Praetorians, not much of a surprise given she could traverse between the stars under her own power easily enough, but she had been trained well enough she could handle the shuttle. For the early part of the flight, she had been busy getting them on course, just listening to the music Sphere had put on and the small robot's response to Kresh's question. Once they were well underway with their course set for Nocturne, the Naram turned around in her chair to face her teammate and their robotic host. "It sounds as if Lexa has prepared a very intricate presentation for a complex story. I will be interested to see how it unfolds."

That just hits and he only gets a 12 on his toughness save, so he goes down!
-
Okay, per chat, you are using just the shockwave, which is a DC 20 Reflex save for each: Suul gets a 27, so with Evasion he avoids the shockwave completely. The melee hunter bombs her reflex save with a 16, but she has Evasion 2, so it is still reduced in half, meaning a DC 20 toughness save. For that she gets a 24, so she weathers the shockwave just fine.
