  1. Quickly recovering from X'Madi's telekinetic attack, Paradigm looked down at the renegade Lor mentat. "Once we protected one of the greatest empires this galaxy has ever seen, we have faced far worse than you and your fellow escaped prisoners." The Naram replied as she slammed her hands together in front of her, causing a powerful shockwave that emanated out toward X'Madi and Pheydyn. X'Madi tried to dodge out of the way of the shockwave, but was not fully able to avoid it, the concussive force slamming into her telekinetic forcefield and causing her to wince in pain from the impact. Pheydyn was unable to move more than a step away from the shockwave, but his psychic forcefield managed to withstand the impact, even as debris around the two escaped criminals was knocked up and sent flying away.
  2. Okay, getting us back on track to wrap this up…. Paradigm will use her shockwave against X'Madi and Pheydyn. That is a DC 23 reflex save to reduce the damage: X'Madi gets a 28, Pheydyn only gets a 17, so DC 22 toughness save for X'Madi and an DC 28 for Pheydyn. X'Madi just misses hers with a 21 and is bruised. Pheydyn gets a 29, so he is fine.
  3. Tsunami gets a 12, so I will use a HP to reroll. She gets a 28!, so she is fine. Tsunami will again move to catch Dam and as many blood golems in her cone attack as possible, Power Attacking (-2/+2), she only gets a 16 on her to hit roll.
  4. Okay, you asked for it! Roulette needs to make a Will save vs a 23 to resist some mind control!
  5. Alder, yes, Nighthawk is up!
  6. Opps, thanks for pointing that out Durf! You are correct. But with the "groups" currently in different parts of campus, it should not be too big a deal. Alder, you are free to make a post as well!
  7. The sniper gets a Reflex save to avoid the area effect, getting a 30. Thanks to Evasion, that is good enough to completely avoid the effect. Not that Ruby knows that.
  8. Okay, the animated shadow only gets a 8 on its will save, so it goes down.
  9. Okay DA, Warlock is up!
  10. Dark, Ruby is up!
  11. Giz, you can certainly make a post. I will try to see if DA is still here and get us back on track.
  12. Yes, she has been able to pinpoint where the firefight is taking place. We will call this round getting close to the action, so she can fully be part of it next round.
  13. Velocity Tsunami Synapse Paradigm GM (2) Crash on Volturnus (1) Revanche: Under the Sword (1)
  14. Okay olopi, Barrier is up, need another Notice check for her.
  15. GM While Bliss was able to hit Kaazan Suul with her makeshift weapon, the veteran bounty hunter managed to roll with the impact at the last minute, coming back up to his feet apparently unharmed. His dark red eyes fixed on Bliss as he stood back upright. Somewhere else in the Spinal Core, the hidden sniper fired once again, the blast hitting Ruby in the chestplate and knocking her to the ground. The Terran bounty hunter's vision blurred with spots from the impact of the shot, but she was able to shake it off and pull herself back into the firefight. "You should not always be so quick to dismiss an easy fight." Suul replied to Bliss' comments about him and his companions. With a quick movement, the hunter holstered one of his blaster pistols and then took a small canister off his belt, which he then threw at Bliss. The canister burst apart as it flew towards the Xuli'pan, and a mess net opened up to try and ensnare her. But Bliss was able to twist away just enough to avoid the net, which continued past to land in a heap a short distance away. But just as Bliss came to a halt, the tall armored insectoid was right beside her. "Ignoring me was foolish." The figure stated in a vaguely female voice, as it swung its large weapon at Bliss, hitting her with the flat of one of the wide blades. The blow knocked the Xuli'pan back more than a dozen feet, where she slammed into a nearby wall before falling to the ground dazed. Her cybernetic whip loosed, freeing the other bounty hunter from its grasp.
  16. The rest of the evening passed uneventfully, as did the night, several of the Ul-Mor standing watch over the encampment as they slept. The next morning they broke camp rather quickly, the Ul-Mor clearly well accustomed to the routine, and were on the move just after the sun fully rose over the horizon and the distant crystal mountains. Their path continued toward the north, again occasionally passing by dangers such as those massive worms lurking beneath the sands. Once again, they halted in the heat of the afternoon sun, setting up camp and again resting in makeshift shade for the remainder of the day. After another uneventful night, they were set out north once more, reaching a fair sized oasis by midday. The Ul-Mor began setting up camp once more, with Arthru explaining they would rest until morning, replenishing their water supply and getting some extra rest. By early morning, we will be in the burning lands. The Ul-Mor explained to Oskar. But we only have a short time travel on the surface before we reach the caves which will take us to the Place of True Warriors.
  17. Okay, sorry for the delay Giz. Tsunami will back up some to try to catch as many blood golems and Dam in her Cone of Water. She will power attack (-2/+2), and gets a 21 on the attack roll for the targeted area attack (DC 27 toughness if it hits anything).
  18. Well, been thinking about this some for days now. Right now, there is probably a lot of Londoners that would not be willing to be teleported away (ie not fully aware of the danger they are in). So, maybe we say right now if he heads to the area where the swarm currently is present (and attacking some people), he can pull all those people out and then work from there as needed?
  19. While the ring of sunlight created by Sekhmet shone like a beacon in the midst of the darkness that had fallen over the school, the animated shadows within the ring, or gathered along its edges, were still very much active despite the reduction in some of their numbers. The shadow Sekhmet had attacked turned towards the goddess, lashing out with shadowy claws that bit into her glowing form. Moving along the edges of the sunlight ring, two other shadow creatures launched bolts of dark energy at both Set and Ouroboros, both attacks hitting their marks. The two targets felt an unnatural chill shoot through their bodies as the blasts of dark energy struck. Warlock similarly found himself under attack by one of the shadow creatures, which slashed its claws across his back, producing a similar chilling feeling. Elsewhere in the school Quad, students that had been making their way toward the emergency shelters came under attack by a trio of shadow creatures, trying to fight them off to limited effect. One of the students screamed in the darkness, as a blast of dark energy knocked her to the ground... Back in the schools gardens and grounds, the animated shadows finished forming, and quickly set off after any students still within the area. Nighthawk found herself facing two of the shadow creatures, and while she could not hurt them, she was not about to gamble that they were unable to hurt her. Dodging from side to side, the teenager was able to avoid both as they tried to slash at her with wicked looking claws. Woodsman and Waverider both found themselves being pursued by other shadow creatures, both of which fired blasts of dark energy at the two teenage heroes. Both were able to dodge out of the way off the attacks, but from the sounds of things other students still not yet to the bunkers were not so lucky, as two nearby sounds of pain echoed in the darkness as other shadow creatures flew around....
  20. Okay, sorry for the delay in this... First over in the Quad: Each PC has a shadow attacking them (at -2 on the roll this round): Sekhmet: Hit with a 18, a DC 25 toughness save. Set: hit with a 23, DC 25 toughness save. Ouroboros: hit with a 25, also a DC 25 toughness save. Warlock: Also hit with a 25, another DC 25 toughness save. Some other shadows go after other students still in the Quad. Over in the Gardens/Grounds: Woodsman: missed with a 21. Nighthawk has two on her (against one her defense is +2): both miss with a 14 and 17. Waverider: Misses with a 12. Again there are shadows going after other students in the area. Well, that was an odd result. So, after toughness saves, we are on to: Round Two 28 Woodsman (Unharmed, 2 HP) 23 Sekhmet (Unharmed) 22 Nighthawk (Unharmed, 2 HP) 20 Warlock (Unarmed, ?? HP) 19 Set (Unharmed, 4 HP) 17 Waverider (Unharmed, 1 HP) 14 Choshech (Unharmed) 7 Ouroboros (Unharmed, 1 HP) 4 Animated Shadows (multiple)
  21. TA, I need the Reflex and Toughness saves for Bliss (and an IC post for her). You don't want me making them!
  22. Yes, a 22 is good enough to hit one taking 10. It gets a 28 for its toughness save though. (Edit: but, I forgot the shadows in the immediate area were Shaken by Sekmet, so that actually takes one out)
  23. Sorry I have been so slow on this. Choshech isn't doing anything but talking at the moment. Ouroboros is up durf!
  24. Down in the campus' gardens, Waverider sent a blast of sound toward one of the shadows that Nighhawk had engaged, hoping to cause the summoned creature to shift its position and provide the other superteen an advantage should it attack her. The attack worked as planned, the shadow moving slightly to one side, but of course it helped serve to draw further attention to the sound controlling teen. Up in the sky, Chosheck coughed slightly as the smell Woodsman's bear urine enhanced cloud exploded between him and much of the grounds below. But the tall man simply climbed slightly in elevation, as he drifted over toward an edge of the cloud. "You think a simple cloud of smoke will save you from my wrath? The darkness will swallow you all!"
  25. Rav, I would note, the spacecraft the villains were trying to flee in has already been downed, two rounds ago by Paradigm in a very loud fashion.
