  2. GM Although Moon-Moth's mystical blast missed Cor's hulking form, the Lanterian Praetorian's attack created an opening that Mater Vyrdna quickly took advantage of. With Moon-Moth now clear, the other Praetorian was able to open fire on supercriminal, catching him in the powerful blast which hit him hard, causing him to stagger back down to one knee, clearly hurt, if not completely out of the fight. But equally important, while Cor was not completely down, he was hurt badly enough that his focus on the psychic energy construct surrounding the trio was disrupted, and the glowing force walls flickered and the faded completely from view. The two Praetorians could now see how the rest of the fight had developed in the moments since Cor had first trapped Mater. But any feelings of victory the two Praetorians might have had was short lived, as a hole opened in space behind Mater Vyrdna, from which Rux leapt out, slashing her plasma sword at the technomorph's back. The energy beam sliced into Mater's metallic skin, causing her pain, but not seriously injuring her. But Rux was already gone, leaping through another hole in space, which quickly closed behind her, taking the cyborg criminal out of sight.

  4. I will assume Moon-Moth moved out of the way to Mater could fire at Cor as well. Cor gets a 26 for a Reflex save, so reduces the toughness save. But, he only gets a 15 on his toughness save, so is bruised and dazed. He also gets a 12 on his concentration check, so the force construct goes down!

The melee bounty hunter will attack Bliss again, hitting with a 29, which is a critical hit. DC 30 toughness save for Bliss.
  6. I was waiting for you to make an IC post GO. In any event, Perception checks won't help, as the windows are painted shut (unless someone has a supersense I am forgetting).
  7. That just hits. Suul does not do well on his first toughness save, so he gets a reroll (HP for Bliss) and gets a 20+10=30 on the reroll, so is fine. Bounty Hunter 2 gets a 20 on his toughness save, so picks up a bruise and is dazed again. Get an IC up TA.
  8. Dam's attack had been excruciating pain as the other woman had sought to pull their blood from their bodies, succeeding at least to a certain degree. Tsunami felt weakened, as blood ran down her race from the corners of her eyes. But the young woman shook off the effects of the vicious attack, focusing on Dam now that Ardent had brought down the curtain of blood. "Well done Ardent." She stated as she moved her column of water off slightly to one side, bringing both hands up as a series of twisting coils of water shot forth at Dam. The powerful jet of water slammed into the supercriminal, appearing to hurt her, but Dam otherwise remained on her feet.

  11. Bounty Hunter 1 only gets a 10 on his Reflex save, then a 21 on his toughness save, so bruised and dazed. Kazzan gets a 34 on his Reflex save, and has Evasion, so he completely avoids the attack. The Melee Bounty Hunter only gets a 24, but that is still good enough to completely avoid the attack thanks to Evasion.
  12. GM Cavalier quickly closed the distance with Zadvian, swinging his fist at the F'terrix. But at the last moment, the furry alien twisted, causing the potentially powerful blow to be merely a glancing one, which Zadvian easily withstood. Over at the downed spacecraft, X'madi stepped forward as she and two others faced off with Paradigm. "I must admit, you have proven much more dangerous than the rumors we picked up about your activities against the Communion suggested." She stated, a small smile on her face. But then her look hardened as her lavender eyes glowed with yellow psychic energy. "But we are not all defeated yet!" The former Lor mentat then unleashed a powerful telekinetic blast at Paradigm, the shockwave of the attack slamming into the Praetorian and kicking up debris around her. Paradigm gritted her teeth slightly as the telekinetic force hit her, but held her ground against the onslaught.
  13. Okay, Zadvian makes his toughness save with a 28. X'Madi will power attack Paradigm (-2 atk/+2 dam), missing with a 15. I will give her a reroll (HP to Paradigm), this time she hits with a 28 (with the +10 for the reroll). Paradigm gets a 15 on her Toughness save (vs DC 29), so I will use that HP for a reroll for her: a 26, so she picks up a second bruise.

  15. Actually Tiff, it was a Fort based damage save, so a Fort save, not Toughness. So with the reroll, you still get a bruise.
  16. Tsunami gets a 13 for her Fort save, so she will reroll, getting a 20, which would be bruised and dazed. I will use another HP to remove the daze to act. She will Power Attack Dam (-2 atk/+2 dam), getting a 29 on her attack roll. That is a crit thanks to Improved Critical, so a DC 34 toughness save for Dam.
  17. GM Seeing Cavalier efficiently take out Sullek, Dragonid turned his attention to the rest of the battlefield. For the moment Traveller seemed to be holding her own against Zadvian (the F'terrix reminding Dragonid of Raark, the senior Praetorian who had been trainer for himself and many of the other Praetorians), so Dragonid turned his attention to the glowing energy construct in which Mater Vyrdna was trapped. Flying over, the reptilian Praetorian opened his mouth and let out a powerful jet of flame against the exterior of the construct. However, even though it was damaged, the glowing blue construct withstood the blast. Shaking off the blast from Traveller's power pike, Zadvian snarled at the Praetorian before lunging at her once again with his claws. But the F'terrix's anger made his attack easy to predict, and the experienced Traveller managed to just step aside to avoid the attack. Inside the glowing force construct, Cor turned toward Moon-Moth and strode forward in several quick steps. The towering alien then swung his glowing energy weapon and struck the Praetorian a solid blow.
  18. So, Santri is still hurting and cannot act. Dragonid will fly over and attack the force construct, hitting with a 26. This time the force construct makes its toughness save with a 29.   21. Down in the HAVEN, Dee was watching her teammates interact with Edge through a feed of Ministry security cameras. She smirked slightly at the UNISON hero's question. Is he daft? She asked Foreshadow through their mental link. There is no single place in London big enough for everyone in London. But if he is willing to evacuate people, maybe moving them out the countryside. Like the Cotswolds. I'll notify the Ministry to see about getting some military presence out there to provide some security and any emergency services for people. She then added as she began to type on the computer in front of her.
  22. Once the decision had been made, Dr. Warp quickly moved through the streets of the Fens, carrying the other two heroes as he made his way toward the edge of the Theater District. A short while later, they arrived on a rooftop just down the block from Club Ice. The street the club was on was much better lit than most of the Fens, although not quite as brightly as the streets toward the heart of the Theater District. Given it was an off-night, most of the establishments along the street were closed, including Club Ice. The nightclub was in an old three-story building, refurbished to look newer and trendier. It was hard to tell how much of the upper floors were for the club, or for offices and storage.
  23. Both Laark and Soreen stopped what they were doing to listen to Oskar as he relayed what he had learned. Both were quite a moment, before Laark spoke up first. "Interesting name for the creature. Poison perhaps? Or striking speed?" "Does it really matter?" Soreen asked. "Neither is good news." "Of the two, poison can be the more significant danger." Laark replied with a small shrug. "Either way, we have little choice but to battle this Quickdeath." Soreen let out a little sigh. "Yeah, I suppose not." She pulled her pack over near her and dug into it a moment. "Well, I brought a couple of extra charge packs. Unless we get into some extended firefights before this ritual, we should be able to go in with fully charged weapons."
