That hits and adds +2 to damage. It only gets a 21 on its Will save, so is destroyed.
-
That is two hits, Suul gets a 17 on his toughness save, so I will reroll (HP to Ruby) and he gets a 29, so is fine.

DA, the darkness is not complete, but can cause a miss chance. There are shadows that have formed all around the school, several groups in the Quad. But, Sekhmet has created a circle of sunlight around her, and moved to engage a group of shadows and Warlock can see that circle of light, and the shadows that are exposed within it. So there are three shadows he can easily see, and attack without a chance of missing due to the darkness (partial concealment). Let me know if you have other questions.

Okay, need some toughness saves, then it is Ruby's action.

GM I still have Vox lined up. The concealed sniper communicated as the firefight began in earnest and Ruby took cover in a nearby stall. Taking another deep breath, the sniper fired once again, and once again a powerful blast of concentrated energy struck the Terran bounty hunter, this time just on the front of her armor's chest plate. "Nice try Turk, but I do fully appreciate the risks of this line of work." Kazzan Suul replied calmly, clearly unimpressed by Roulette's attempts to intimidate him. With that, the bounty hunter crouched down near a wall as he steadied his aim at Bliss as he once again let loose a barrage of energy blasts. This time his aim was true, as three blasts struck the Xuli'pan squarely. Time for some help with Bliss. He communicated mentally. I am on it. Came a mental reply, as a new figure appeared, leaping off the rooftop of a nearby building and landing next to Bliss. The figure was a tall, insectoid alien, with chitin armor and a long, wide blade like weapon. The new arrival swung its blade at Bliss, but the Xuli'pan managed to easily dodge the attack. Although clearly unnerved by Roulette's comments, and hurt from the barrage Ruby had launched against him, the bounty hunter at the rear of the Voidrunners took aim at the conman once again. This time however, the energy blast missed the intended target. Elsewhere in the Spinal Core Kresh Melek was just finishing her small meal when the distinctive sound of energy weapon fire echoed through the market. It sounded somewhat distant, and the former Praetorian did not have a precise location, but it sounded like it was more toward the center section of the Core....

Round Two 29 Sniper (unharmed) 27 Kazzan Suul (unharmed) 21 Melee Bounty Hunter (unharmed) 19 Bounty Hunter 1 (bruised, shaken (1 round)) 19 Barrier (unharmed, 1 HP) 18 Ruby Vox (bruised, 1 HP) 16 Bounty Hunter 2 (staggered, dazed) 15 Roulette (Unharmed, 4 HP) 13 Bliss (Unharmed, 3 HP) The sniper shoots at Ruby again, hitting with a 25. A DC 25 toughness save for Ruby. Another DC 20 Notice check for Ruby and the other Voidrunners as well. Kazzan Suul shoots at Bliss again (Power Attack -2/+2), this time hitting with a 25, that is +2 damage from Autofire, so a DC 27 toughness save for Bliss. Then a new combatant leaps out into the battle, attacking Bliss with a bladed weapon, but misses with a 11. Bounty Hunter 1 will attack Roulette again, missing with a 12. And Barrier is up!
-
Olopi, go ahead and give me an initiative check for Barrier. She heard the distant sounds of the firefight, but is not sure where it is exactly at this point.

GM Pheydyn turned toward Paradigm as she tore off a section of the spacecraft, making it unspaceworthy, even if they were able to get it off the ground again. A wide smile came to the Futianni's face as he regarded the Praetorian. "It still remains to be seen whether we will be going back to prison." He stated as he released blast of psychic energy at Paradigm. The blast hit the Naram, a pain like thousands of small needles stabbing into her brain. But Paradigm had much more willpower than might be expected, and was able to shake off the pyschic attack quickly.

"Okay, time to draw his attention and see about maybe slowing him down some." Velocity replied before she started off in a blur of yellow toward the man responsible for the chaos gripping the city. Passing a short distance from him, the speedster slowed down just enough that she could be seen as her right hand moved in a blur that was almost impossible to follow, quickly throwing several steel ball bearings at hypersonic speeds. The five projectiles all hit Shkhin, but he was apparently very tough, as he took the hits with not visible effect. But Velocity was already gone, speeding down the street to skid to a halt a couple blocks back in the direction he had come from, but still out in the open where he could see her.

Paradigm As the smoke and dust began to settle and dissipate around her, Paradigm studied the downed spaceship she was currently hovering above. Estimating where the bridge would be located, the Praetorian reached down and dug her fingers into the metal of a section of the vessel. With a surge of strength, she ripped up an entire section of plating, opening up a hole in the side of the spacecraft which exposed the bridge and a nearby hallway. Inside the spacecraft, X'madi, Pheydyn and Rux were all visible, the previous two apparently having regained their bearings after Paradigm had forced the ship back down. As she tossed the large chunk of plating off to a side with a loud *CLANG*, Paradigm focused on the three supercriminals. "I would advise you to surrender now. Your running is over."

Okay, Paradigm's turn will be using a full round action to rip off a section of the downed spaceship. That opens up toward the bridge, where Pheydyn, X'madi and Rux currently are. Pheydyn will take his action to hit her with a mental blast (DC 25 will save), Paradigm gets a 28 on her Will save (forgot to take off her bruise), so she is fine. Traveller is up!
-
Velocity will attack with her Rapid Fire, getting a 37 on the attack roll. That is a autofire attack, base DC 25 toughness save, plus whatever autofire adds. She will then move several blocks back in the direction he had initially been, but still within visual sight of him.

He is up in the air roughly equal distant from both "groups" (basically between the two).

Actually AA, I messed up and skipped Warlock, so you can go ahead with an action for him DA! But first I need to note something, Giz, you are getting a bit ahead of things in addressing Woodsman and Nighthawk, as they are currently nowhere near Set. (At the start of the thread, Woodsman was in his dorm building, Nighthawk was in the athletic building, Ouroboros exited into the quad to meet Set/Sekhmet, as did Warlock. I will say Waverider is over near the dorms/athletic building, as EP did not indicate where she was). So for the moment, there are generally two groups, spread out slightly on campus.
-
Okay Goose, Seika has a surprise action (either a standard action or a move action).
-
That is enough hits to be DC 24, it only gets a 18, so that is one Shadow down!
-
Bounty Hunter 2 gets a 23, so is bound and helpless. His toughness save is 14, so staggered and dazed.
-
While we wait for a IC post for Nighthawk, Set is up Giz!
-
Okay TA, Bliss is up!
-
Kazzan beats that without even rolling, but Bounty Hunter 1 is demoralized.
-
Ruby's volley of fire hit the bounty hunter that had come from behind the group, staggering him slightly with multiple hits. But in the end, the alien stayed on his feet and appeared to be very much still in the fight. A energy beam lanced out at Bliss from the right side, the Xuli'pan having caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of her eye and was already ducking down when the blast passed harmlessly overhead. A quick glance in that direction reveled another bounty hunter, this one a reptilian species, having moved into view, a blaster in its hand.

He gets a 20, so another bruise, and dazed again!

GM Cavalier's punch caught Sullek solidly in the diaphragm, the force of the punch lifting the cyborg criminal off his feet and sending him flying through the air and through the windows of a nearby building. By the time Sullek came crashing down inside the other building, the criminal was unconscious. Inside the governor's offices, Rux leapt over the struggling Corona and Santri, slashing down at the Lor officer as she passed over. Once again the plasma blade raked across Corona's back, cutting through her armor. Another hole in space appeared on the other side of Rux's leap, and the cyborg disappeared through it as it closed right behind her.

Okay, Rux is going to grab Santri and teleport them both away, Corona is up Rav! Rux gets a 19 on an attack roll to grab Santri (which is good enough with the penalty to defense from grappling) Change of plans (after considering how I have show Rux's teleport work), she will just attack Corona (the above roll hits due to defense penalties while grappling), so DC 25 toughness save for Corona, then Rux teleports away.

GM Ms. Britannia and Foreshadow quickly made their way outside, where they joined Edge in the streets in front of the Ministry building. Already the streets were starting to get cleared, with many pedestrians starting to run into buildings. But still there were a number of people that had not heard or seen the approaching swarm, still going about their day. The vehicle traffic was worse, with drivers unaware of the impending crisis generally in the way of or avoiding those drivers that heard or saw about the swarm and were trying to head away from it. A crash of metal on metal a short distance away signaled at least one finder bender caused by the situation. From where they were currently positioned, both Silver Spider and Primal Spirit could see similar chaos developing in other parts of the city. Down on a street below Primal Spirit, the African prince saw a small crash between two cars, which served to stop traffic in two directions and start a backlog of vehicles, unable to move anywhere. Silver Spider landed on a building, and saw several people running for any sort of cover as the swarm approached. A little over a block away, she saw a small group of school children out with their teacher, apparently not aware of the situation.
