Psyche's report was troubling, considering it did little to explain the mystery of who was behind all these plagues. But Velocity knew right now their primary focus was to contain and stop the man rampaging in the city, and then see what they might be able to do to help him. "That sounds like a reasonable start." She replied to Frost's comments about how to deal with the man as she turned away from where she had been getting people to move and quickly ran toward the other section of town the man had leapt to. In seconds, she was atop a building looking down the street he was now on. "Okay, I have him in visual. How do we want to start this?"

The other Broan makes its reflex save with a 25

Alder, while we wait for Giz to get his IC post up, you want to start an action for Nighthawk?

Tsunami wasted little time in acting when the woman responsible for all the blood taunted them with her claim that they were too late. As large hulking shapes of blood began to form and emerge from the whirling curtain of blood the woman had around her, the Asian young woman moved her column of water slightly forward, as she swept her hands up from her sides to directly in front of her, palms outward. From the empty air in front of her hands, three thick jets of water exploded outward, each one twisting and turning as it shot through the air at one of the three massive blood creatures that had appeared. All three blasts struck their targets, two of which exploded in a shower of blood and merged back in with the river and curtain. The third however took the water blast with seemingly little effect.

The shadow gets a 27 on its toughness save.
-
Okay Giz, Tsunami already has her forcefield up, she will use her Cone of Water (Targeted Cone Area Blast 10) to attack as many of the blood golems as she can (it is selective, so she will only target the blood golems). She has +14 to hit with it, so let me know if she can Take 10 (for 24 total). If not, I will roll. DC 25 toughness saves if it hits.
-
Thanks DA, I will include Warlock in the initiative order for this round! Okay Giz, I was thinking of a contested roll for the Environmental Control, but I will go with it creating a small island of light within the darkness. The nearby shadows cannot beat that so they are shaken for this round, and while they are minions, a 19 will just miss, so will need a roll.

Okay TT, Cavalier is up! (We will say he can get up to the bridge in a move action)

Okay, here is the current map!

Tiff, Traveller is up.

Paradigm "Catch up when you can my friend." Paradigm stated to Seresk, as she lifted up into the air, accelerating in the direction of the governor's offices and the continuing battle against the escaped supercriminals. A sonic boom echoed over the city as the Naram broke the sound barrier, streaking through the sky as she closed on the scene. With her enhanced vision, Paradigm was able to take stock of the scene as she approached, but quickly focused on the hovering starship as the primary threat to deal with. Hardly slowing, the Praetorian flew over to the top of the starship the villains were trying to use to escape, slamming into it with a *THUD*. Then she began to push against the vessel with all of her considerable strength, trying to force it back down into the hanger and ground it. Whomever was piloting the starship reacted quickly, increasing power to the antigravity thrusters as they tried to resist the force being applied against it. Dust and debris began kicking up around the office building, as for a moment it seemed the starship might win the contest. But then, slowly at first, the vessel began to drop in altitude, before it started descending quicker, until it slammed back down inside the hanger with a loud *CRASH* that echoed over the city. Those gathered around the governor's offices could feel the ground and building shake from the impact as more dust and smoke was kicked up.

Okay, Paradigm is going to catch up with everyone else (which she is fast enough to as a move action with her normal flight). She will have enough movement to fly over to the star yacht and try to ground it. I will call this a contest between her effective strength (lifting capacity) and the star yacht's (103 vs 70): Paradigm gets a 29, the star yacht gets a 24, so Paradigm manages to win!

As mentioned in chat, it was a HP for the reroll, then one to buy off the fatigue from surging, so she ends up with 1 HP left. So, go ahead with the IC post.
-
Santri gets a 16 on his first toughness save, so bruised and dazed. I will buy off the daze (HP to Corona). He gets a 20 on his second toughness save, so another bruise and is dazed again. Also, I am going to give all the PCs a HP for the final showdown! (should have done this earlier)

Will note the Obscure being in place AA! Sekhemt is up Giz!

GM Ministry of Powers The guards outside the Ministry of Powers briefly flinched as Edge suddenly appeared in front of the building, at least one starting to reach for a weapon. But they relaxed, at least slightly, as the UNISON agent promptly identified himself. One of the guards, who was half paying attention to Edge and half listening to the chatter over the radio through his ear piece, responded. "The Minister is currently meeting with several members from Vanguard and have just been alerted sir. I wager they would be willing to accept any assistance." Up in the conference room, Dame Pennington answered a phone call, curtly responding to whatever she was told by the individual on the other end. Hanging up, she looked back at Foreshadow and Ms. Britannia. "It appears is it no longer a question of when the next plague will strike. I do believe this meeting is over, as the two of you have much more pressing matters on hand. The UNISON superagent Edge has just appeared outside and is aware of the general situation, I would suggest getting out there to coordinate with him." Streets of Westminster As Primal Spirit sprang into action, he could make out the looks of shock on the faces of Londoners as he sprinted and leapt past, not as accustomed to seeing superpowered individuals as the residents of Freedom City. But it quickly became apparent that a bit of panic was already starting to spread among the residents of London, as the African hero could see groups of pedestrians already starting to run for buildings and other cover. A few quick leaps and Primal Spirit was up on the rooftop of a nearby four story building. Once there he had a clearer view of the sky to the east. It seemed he did not have far to go, as the swarm of locusts appeared to be headed toward Westminster. Trafalgar Square Jennifer Owens had been doing her best to enjoy her coffee and relax after her presentation when a commotion and startled cries in the coffee shop caught her attention. Looking back, she saw almost everyone in the shop was turned toward a flatscreen up on one of the walls, where a BBC news broadcast showed a massive swarm of insects, that was apparently closing in on central London...

GM As his forcefield easily turned aside one of the Grue's attacks, Magnetar took aim at one of the ones beyond Paradigm's immediate reach (as the criminals began spreading out more to avoid being taken down in groups). A quick magnetic blast and the Grue was lying unconscious near one of its comrades. But then the magnetic controlling Praetorian found himself under fire by several of the other alien criminals, a barrage of fire flying around him. Only one shot squarely hit is magnetic forcefield, which again proved capable of stopping the small blaster fire, although this time just barely.

Magnetar will take 10 to hit another Grue, it gets a 24 on its toughness save, but is still out. The other four aliens all fire on Magnetar, 24, 15, 12, 9, so one hit. Magnetar gets a 21 on his toughness save, which is just good enough. Round Three 21 Queenie (unharmed, 0 HP) 18 Jaas (unharmed) 15 Tough Alien (bruised) 14 Grue drones (2 in total, minions) 13 Seresk (unharmed) 9 Paradigm (unharmed, 3 HP) 6 Magnetar (unharmed) 5 Grunt aliens (4 in total, minions) Queenie is up!
-
Paradigm With the more minor opponents choosing to focus their fire on others they stood a chance of hurting, Paradigm continued to try to whittle down their numbers. Flying over to the Grue that had hit Magnetar, the Praetorian slammed her shoulder into the Grue, sending it flying into a nearby wall, where it crumpled unconscious. Paradigm then flew over to another nearby Grue, delivering a powerful backhand that knocked it back and out as well. Glancing back to Queenie, she replied, "be careful, the Jaas has mental abilities." She warned the Terran.

Paradigm will fly down to attack some of the Grue, taking 10 to hit one, and it goes down, she will use Takedown to hit another, it also is out.

GM As the insectoid alien dodged Queenie's attack, it focused its multifaceted eyes on Seresk, as a faint yellow glow surrounded its head. A similar glow appeared around the large Praetorian's head, as Seresk seemed to stiffen slightly, but then shook his head and returned to normal. Seresk then stated something in the language Queenie could not understand, but it seemed some sort of warning. Seresk's attention was then taken up by the large alien continuing its attack on him, as the Praetorian dodged a large fist. As he stepped back out of the path of the attack, Seresk twisted slightly, sending his long tail whipping around toward his attacker, the spiked weighted end slamming into the other larger alien with enough force to stagger it slightly. But the large alien quickly shook off the attack, staying focused on Seresk. The four remaining Grue all turned their attention to Magnetar, opening fire on the glowing Praetorian. Of the four, only one managed to strike him, and Magnetar's glowing forcefield easily turned aside the blast.

And to clarify for everyone, the darkness is a partial obscure (concealment), not total.

Okay, the insect alien will try to use Mind Control on Seresk, who has a DC 18 will save, Seresk makes it with a 23. The big alien again tries to attack Seresk, missing with a 10. The four remaining Grue will all fire on Magnetar: 22, 7, 15, 14, so only one hit. Magnetar gets a 30 on his toughness save and is fine. Seresk tries to hit the big alien in return, hitting with a 21 (DC 27 toughness save). The big alien gets a 25, so takes a bruise.
