For the sake of the story, I will say the Broan gets trapped.
-
At Starshot's agreement to join the tribe and undergo the rite of passage, Athru turned back towards the waiting Ul-Mor and raised one tentacle holding a spear, letting out a strange high pitched cry. The other Ul-Mor raised their weapons as well, returning the cry. As Starshot explained to Laark and Soreen the deal, Laark simply glanced back to the Ul-Mor a moment, before turning and starting to breakdown the makeshift shelter. "Hopefully not." Soreen said in reply. "But in any event, it seems better than possibly dying of thirst and hunger, if not eaten by one of those sand things." She added, before turning to help pack up what little gear they had gotten out for the makeshift camp. Soon, the Ul-Mor had shifted some of their packs to free up two of the large lizard mounts they rode (which Athru explained were called Loopers) for the crew. Laark was just able to ride on one himself, while Soreen had to climb up behind Starshot on the other. The tribe then set off toward the north, with Starshot and Laark following along behind on their Loopers, headed toward the lands where the Ul-Mor rites of passage were conducted.

Aboard the pirate capital ship The larger Broan pushed himself off a wall and toward Mater Vyrdna, his thick arms opened wide as he tried to grapple the Praetorian. But Mater was able to easily dodge aside the clumsy attack and the Broan's momentum carried him to the other side of the bridge, where he was able to twist back around and land his feet on the opposite wall. The other Broan moved along using various surfaces as a handhold, appearing to be positioning himself to attack as well. Surface of Galor III, Yollon City Frustration was evident on the pirates' faces as Moon-Moth easily repaired the damage they had been able to inflict on his mystical barrier, while the mercenaries behind the barrier were easily able to whittle down their numbers with return fire. The three larger pirates again slammed their fists into the barrier, again causing some cracks to appear, but once again the barrier held.

Okay, the tough pirates on the plant attack the barrier again, 24, 26, 20 (the last two would be 25 and 19), so some damage (-2 toughness) to the barrier, but otherwise it holds. One of the Broan on the bridge of the disable pirate vessel tries to grapple Mater, but misses with a 12. Mater is up Vahn!

Still need rolls for Roulette HGM! Also, Dark, TA, need initiative checks.

TA, Dark, need a post for you guys, otherwise I will move things along!

While Eternal Dragon had been unable to damage the van, the driver had clearly heard him land on top, as the van continued to accelerate, weaving as it did. Suddenly the driver took a hard, sharp turn, which caught the martial artist off balance, sending him tumbling off the top of the vehicle. Luckily Eternal Dragon was easily able to somersault onto his feet and roll along the sidewalk, getting back to his feet in a moment. But the van was already taking another turn down the street and disappearing from sight. Back over by the bank the police officers had arrived to take the various criminals into custody. "Thanks for your assistance." One of the officers stated to Bonfire and Dr. Warp as the criminals were handcuffed and the powered gauntlets removed from those wearing them. Dr. Warp took a moment to study one of the gauntlets, which was made out of a lightweight steel alloy. But he could not tell much about how they operated by only studying the outside of the devices.

Okay GO, I am going to fiat this with the van getting away after Eternal gets shaken loose (for no damage), so you will earn a HP. IC post incoming!
-
Space, you might want to take a look at Leviathan, he is built along those lines (sort of a Hulk expy)
-
DA, still need an initiative for Warlock! Well AA, I will give you a HP when I say it does not help him much! Durf, most of that seems fine to me. I don't think Environmental Adaption to Darkness adds anything that the stunted supersense does not provide? (ie any trouble moving around in the darkness is countered by being able to see fine in it). The one thing with the enhanced skills, as all the enemies are immune to the darkness, I will say that the extra Stealth does not help against them. So, what people are aware of given their notice checks: Giz: Set can see just fine, so (as noted in the IC) she sees Choshech hovering over a hundred feet in the air. She also sees more than a score of animated shadows taking shape all around the campus. Sekhmet is able to sense the nearest group of animated shadows, which is appearing near some other students. Durf: Ouroboros can also has a general awareness of the same group of animated shadows as Sekhmet. Alder: Nighthawk is able to sense something forming near the building she just exited. EP: Waverider is able to pick up the vibrations of several students near her that were heading toward the emergency shelters, at the moment she cannot pick up much else. AA: Woodsman is able to sense a group of animated shadows forming near a few students near the dorms as he exits. Round One 28 Woodsman (Unharmed, 2 HP) 23 Sekhmet (Unharmed) 22 Nighthawk (Unharmed, 2 HP) 19 Set (Unharmed, 4 HP) 17 Waverider (Unharmed, 1 HP) 14 Choshech (Unharmed) 7 Ouroboros (Unharmed, 1 HP) 4 Animated Shadows (multiple) Woodsman is up AA!

Yes, that is correct, but first you need to make a DC 25 toughness save from the attack by Rux.

Tsunami gets a 26
-
Tsunami did not miss Monsson's comment about the nature of her hydrokinetic abilities, an origin that the young Asian woman had learned about a little over a year ago. However, now was not the time to start asking too many questions, as the individual responsible for transforming the water into blood was still out there somewhere. "While my abilities allow me to control available water, I do not need any for several of my abilities." Tsunami commented as they were joined by Frostbite and began to follow after the teenager's friend. Anything further she might have added was cut short as the four caught up with Ardent, and the one behind this incident. Seeing the blood spreading into the bay, Tsunami stopped her water spout as she looked to the others. "We need to try to stop her as quickly as we can, before her transformed water spreads too far. Then we can see about reversing what she had done."

GM After calling out for assistance, Mater Vyrdna heard the sound of Moon-Moth's voice echoing from inside the maze-like force construct. Outside the force construct, the battle continue rage on, as Rux appeared behind Corona, slashing at the Lor officer with her plasma blade. The cyborg's attack racked across Corona's back, cutting into the Lor's armor. Sullek easily dodged Cavalier's attack, the blasts creating small craters in the ground behind the cyborg. "That is certainly a matter of opinion." The sword wielder replied as he took a few running steps and leapt into the air. The arch of his leap was aimed toward a corner of the rooftop of the building, carrying him past the Star Knight. As he passed, Sullek slashed out with his sword, the blade striking Cavalier's armored torso as the momentum carried Sullek on to the rooftop.

I will say that Mater can hear Moon-Moth's voice echoing inside the construct maze. Seresk is still away from the fight, so skipping him again. Rux will teleport behind Corona and attack, hitting with a 23, so DC 25 toughness save for Corona. Sullek will leap toward Cavalier (on his way to the rooftop), attacking as he passes by, also hitting with a 23, so a DC 25 toughness save for Cav. Then it is Corona's turn!
-
Actually, vehicles have defense, so there would be an attack roll. But, I will let you Take 10 (although you cannot use a power attack and hit (you need an 18 to hit even when Taking 10). The van gets a 28 on its toughness save and is undamaged.
-
Okay, if people want to make a short reaction, feel free. More likely than not, we will be needing initiative rolls. Also, any Voidrunners are welcome to make a Kn: Galactic Lore or Kn: Streetwise check. Olopi, you can go ahead and make a post for Barrier, just don't move her along too far. She is still some distance from the Voidrunners, but will likely be alerted to things soon enough.

Barrier The shop keeper looked up at Kresh Melek as they concluded the transaction. At the Lyankan's question, the humanoid gave a small nod. "Everyone that has been aboard CoVic Station for more than a cycle can tell you where the Praetorians' headquarters is. It is located on the upper levels, near the embassies and other governmental buildings." The humanoid pointed off to its right, up towards one end of the curved interior of the Spinal Core. "Follow the avenue up to the top and then ask for directions to the central plaza. The entrance is located at one end." The Voidrunners The Voidrunners were trying to decide what other shop they might wish to visit while on the station when the crowd around them seemed the thin slightly. "Well, Stahnze Turk, this is a surprise." Came a gravelly voice from ahead of them, as a figure emerged a short distance ahead in the crowd. The figure was tall and lean, a grey skinned humanoid wearing a poncho over his shoulders, covering one side of his body, the other side open wide enough to revel a blaster slung at his right hip. A wide brimmed hat covered his head, from under which dark red eyes studied the trio. "The Indigo Moon still have a sizable bounty on you." His eyes glanced ever so slightly to Ruby as he added, "You are Ruby Voxx are you not? Consider this a professional courtesy. Don't interfere."

"We will meet you in the designated docking bay Corona." Paradigm replied as the Lor office excused herself to go and change out of her evening dress. The Naram then turned back to Mater Vyrdna. "Only that you be vigilant Mater, and provide a suitable impression on our Khanate visitors." "Elite, can keep an eye on things from here and let me know of anything that draws your attention." She added before starting toward the exit with Mater Vyrdna and Galvanic following alongside. Turning back towards the Tempestian, Paradigm gave a small smile. "Please, Paradigm is fine, or even Amara. While Imperatrix may be my title, it is an old formality, and one even other Praetorians need not follow in all occasions." She glanced over to Mater Vyrdna with that last before looking back to Galvanic. "I would imagine the Khanate ambassador will have a retinue. I do not expect their show of strength to end merely with the cruiser." "We will certainly be keeping an eye on the shuttle." She added.

If Athru was shocked by Starshot's unbidden memories of the war, the Ul-Mor did not show any obvious signs of it. Star the Shot warrior? You fight others from sea of stars? Or fight with them? The Ul-Mor asked through the mental link. Athru then gave a slight nod at the comment about the group being injured and low on water. Travelling the sea of sands very dangerous. Water and food scarce. Ul-Mor law that only tribe may share water and food. The Ul-Mor was quiet only a moment before adding, but Ul-Mor not wish to see Star the Shot and companions die. Could share food if Star the Shot and companions agreed to join tribe and undergo rite of passage.

The crook wearing the ice gauntlets seemed rather shaken about the beating his two companions had taken (and himself to an extent) as he nodded at Bonfire's suggestion to tell where the van was headed. "We were sent by the boss to test out these gauntlets. We were to report back to him once we finished, at Club Ice." The criminal stated, glancing over toward where the police were finally emerging and making their way over. While listening to the crook, Dr. Warp also grabbed a hold of Eternal Dragon, stretching his arm hundreds of feet in moments to just catch back up with the van as it pulled away. With a slight flick of his elongated wrist, Dr. Warp tossed the martial artist the short distance to the van, with Eternal Dragon somersaulting over to land on his feet in a crouch, managing to maintain his balance as the van began to accelerate. For the moment at least.

Okay Cape, given all the things Dr. Warp is doing (helping interrogate the ice thug and dropping ED onto the van), I will say he doesn't have time to closely study the gauntlets at the moment. We can get to that later. GO, just so you know, when you use a HP to reroll, if the reroll is 10 or less, you get to add 10 to the roll, so you reroll is actually a 32! Let me know what you want ED to do now GO.
-
Okay Ex, Moon-Moth is up. Give me a Notice check if you want him to try to go an teleport Mater out of the force construct (it is to see if he caught glimpse of where she was when the construct went up, so he knows where inside to teleport to). Of course, there is also the spaceship the bad guys are trying to use to escape.
-
The force wall in front of Mater gets a 18 on its toughness save, so is damage (-1 toughness), but otherwise remains in place.
-
Okay, new map: The purple oval is the spaceship. Mater is up!
