Moving in from the side, Starshot stabbed the creature right in the side of its neck, delivering a critical blow that clearly injured it, as it let out a roar of pain and staggered away from the cybernetic human. Laark wasted no time moving as quickly as he could toward the rocks, but he was significantly hampered by his injury. Soreen hesitated a brief moment, her blaster leveled at the creature, before she turned and ran back after Laark, easily catching up with him and remaining near him. The creature made no immediate move, apparently still trying recover from Starshot's last attack.

The Sand Shark gets a 9 on its toughness save, so is now staggered, disabled and dazed! The crew will continue moving as best they can, and then it will be Starshot's action again!
-
Laark does what he is ordered, and starts hobbling toward the distant rock outcropping. But given his injury, he was not able to make much headway. Soreen ran alongside him, apparently not willing to just outpace him and leave him behind. "We aren't going to make it!" She called out as she ran through the hot sun. As Starshot moved not far from the two, he saw the creature starting back towards them, moving quickly through the sand. Taking aim once again, Starshot fires another plasma bolt at the creature, once again hitting it, but this time the angle was bad, and the blast glanced harmlessly off the creature's leathery hide. The creature headed straight for Soreen, erupting from the sand, just as she leapt aside, narrowly avoiding the attack.
-
Well, I said 100 meters away, so over 300 feet. Laark starts heading that way, but, is of course slow. Soreen runs alongside him, not wanting to just leave him trailing behind. She uses her standard action for a total defense action. Round Seven 21 Soreen (unharmed) 20 Sand Shark (bruised 2, injured 2, dazed) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 9 Laark (staggered, disabled) As the creature starts to move toward you, Starshot shoots: 16, which just hits. Creature gets a 23 this time, so is fine. The Sand Shark comes up to try to attack Soreen, missing with a 11. So back to Starshot's action.
-
The phased blast of plasma strikes the creature under the sand, causing it to stagger slightly and slow down. Now clear of the smoke cloud, Laark tries to ready himself for any further attack, glancing around for any sign of the creature. Soreen has her blaster ready as well, but seeing Starshot shoot down into the ground, focuses her attention down as well, shifting her feet to try to dodge aside should the creature erupt from the ground once again. "Where is it?" She asks. Down below the sand, the creature appears to still be recovering from Starshot's last attack.
-
Okay, both Soreen and Laark will take full defense actions, the Sand Shark does not act as it is dazed. Round Six 21 Soreen (unharmed) 20 Sand Shark (bruised 2, injured 2, dazed) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 9 Laark (staggered, disabled) So Starshot is up again.
-
That does hit, the creature gets a 15 on its toughness save, so it picks up another bruise and injured condition, and is dazed. Starshot spots some rocky terrain about 100 meters away. You can edit in some orders as a free action if you want.

GM Even as the Praetorians began dealing with some of the criminals gathered around the building, or collapsing the buildings roof, the criminals began reacting to their appearance. Down on the ground level, the remaining two criminals carrying heavy weapons dropped to one knee, each taking aim at one of the Praetorians that had taken down the comrades. As each fired, a powerful blast of energy shot towards Cavalier and Mater Vyrdna. The later was able to dodge aside, the blast sailing past and blasting a hole in a wall down the street. Cavalier was not as quick, as the blast struck his glowing armor. Corona's action had left her and Moon-Moth floating in the air above the collapsed section of the roof, which had dropped down into a four story atrium below, sending all the criminals tumbling down to the floor below and rendering them unconscious or otherwise unable to fight once they landed.

Okay, the two remaining criminals with heavy weapons down on the ground outside the building will open fire on Cavalier and Mater Vyrdna: 24 and 10, so Cav is hit. DC 25 toughness save for him. So, now Traveller is up Tiff!

Okay, everyone else reacts to the smoke grenade as described in the IC post. Soreen will use her standard action for the total defense action. Round Five 21 Soreen (unharmed) 20 Sand Shark (bruised, injured) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 9 Laark (staggered, disabled) Starshot is back up.
-
Laark staggered out of the cloud of smoke, coughing as he moved, almost collapsing to one knee, but making it clear and then turning back to regard where the smoke cloud was lingering in the air. Soreen came stumbling out next from another part of the cloud, her hand over her eyes trying to keep the acrid gas from them. They could all hear the creature bellowing inside the cloud, before there was a digging sound. Startshot could see the creature moving back down under the ground. It went down a couple of meters and now clear of the smoke, stopped and reoriented itself towards the group, seeming to sense their movement.

Unfortunately that will not hit You guys are not having good roles to start this off.

The creature roared in pain as Starshot stabbed it, but it was far from down. Laark continued to back away from it, focusing on its maw as he prepared to dodge any subsequent attack. "Good job captain!" Soreen exclaimed as she fired once more. This time she hit the creature, but its tough, leathery hide deflected the blaster blot harmlessly away. The creature snarled once more, lunging at Laark once again, but the large alien was ready, dodging aside, although he winced in pain as he did so. The creature shuffled round on its stubby little legs, some sort of sensory organs on its wedge shaped head seeming to "sniff" at the air. Starshot saw that the creature had no discernable eyes.

Laark will take the total defense action. Round Four 21 Soreen (unharmed) 20 Sand Shark (bruised, injured) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 9 Laark (staggered, disabled, dazed) Soreen fires at the creature again, hitting with a 19. The Sand Shark gets a 27 on its toughness save and shakes it off. It then goes for Laark one more time, missing with a 15.

GM Daedalus led Aquaria, Jessie and Mr. Leonard through a security check point and into one of the lower levels of Freedom Hall. From there they took an elevator up to the second floor of the League’' headquarters and made their way into one of the smaller conference rooms. There was a medium sized table in the center of the room, around which there were a number of leather chairs. Large windows provided a view of City Hall outside. A large pitcher of water was set out in the center of the table, with a number of glasses beside it. "Please have a seat." Daedalus said with a gesture towards the empty chairs on one side of the table as he moved towards one toward one end. "Let me know if there is anything you might want other than water."

GM Stone grinned slightly at Amir’s comment about acquiring Draco Enterprise. "I know your balance sheet is as healthy as always Amir, but the impact would likely be a bit more than that, for the short term." The current CEO replied. "However, if you were truly interested, Jason would be central to that, seeing as he is the majority shareholder." Stone added as he looked over at Jason. "Well, I will be moving along, whatever you do, do not take his first offer. Or his second." He added with a smile and a nod to Amir before he started off into the crowd.

Okay TT, Cav is up!
-
It gets a 21 on its toughness save, so picks up a bruise and injured.
-
Well, only one had an anti-vehicle weapon, but yeah, they are all just minions. I will say you smash the roof, sending all tumbling down.

Laark pushed himself back up to his feet, using his large club as a cane to help him. His free hand pressed over the horrible gash in side that the creature had caused. He took a few steps back, trying to put some space between himself and the creature. Soreen tried to steady her aim at the snarling creature. "Stay clear Laark!" She called out, as she fired her blaster once more. However, her aim was off once again, and the blast missed the creature. Snarling and still focused on Laark, the creature shuffled forward once more, trying to grab him in its jaws once, but Laark just managed to pull out of its way.
-
Laark gets himself back to his feet, then it is… Round Three 21 Soreen (unharmed) 20 Sand Shark (unharmed) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 9 Laark (staggered, disabled, dazed) Soreen will attack again, missing with a 13. The Sand Shark attacks Laark, missing with a 9. Starshot is up again!

Paradigm smiled slightly as Adiri reverted to her normal, and hopefully far less durable, form. Hopefully this would make it easier to subdue the Geox. Flying over next to Adiri’s plummeting form and reached out to grab her, easily pulling the Geox into her grip. With a slight application of pressure, Paradigm rendered the faintly struggling supercriminal unconscious. "Now to get you back down to the ground to see what is going on." The Paretorian stated aloud as she focused back on the city below.

Paradigm will fly over to Adiri and make an accurate attack (+2 acc/-2 grapple) to start a grapple on Adiri. She hits with a 27. Paradigm gets a 39 on her grapple check, which Adiri cannot beat currently. She will then apply her Str bonus to try to knock out Adiri, she gets a 2, so she is out.

The ship gets a 30 on the first save, and a 28 on the second. So the ship is heavily damage and disabled.
